A/N: Down to the wire people! Only 10 episodes left!

~HQ~

Throughout the base, silence ruled supreme. No one moved about, the Zord hangar was devoid of machines working to keep up with maintenance, Skylabs itself was closed for the day.

Inside the main base, Oliver Kyle lay on a medical table within the infirmary.

His boyish face was at peace as if he were sleeping. If only this were the case. Ben Shepherd was on his knees, his face still buried in his Best Friend's side. Next to him was a tear stricken Dr. Kyle.

"Why'd you have to go?" He asked the body in between sharp intakes of air. "Why'd you leave me?"

Dr. Kyle patted the boy on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. Eventually, she took Ben's hands in her own and held him in a tight hug. Ben had been like another son to her; in times like this, she feared losing him too.

In the main bridge, Clara sat alone at the meeting table. She used everything in her will, and then some, to put her Ranger duties before her feelings.

What was she feeling? She asked herself this many times that day; storms of rage, feelings of betrayal, sadness, hopelessness, all of this was being contained inside her as she tried to put together some sort of plan to help her friends. Karen and Leonard were completely mute at their stations, typing away at projects that weren't so important; they only served as a means to occupy them.

Clara's Morpher began to beep. Clearing her throat, the girl opened the channel. "Hello?"

"Ranger Yellow."

"Who is this?" She asked walking into the hallway.

"My name is Tyson. It was I who gave TK Storm his Power."

Without warning, Clara flew off the handle. "You're the reason why my best friend is dead, you bastard!"

Tyson's voice remained unshaken. "I admit the death of Ranger Red is a tragic one; however, this wasn't supposed to happen. TK struck out on his own against my orders and aligned himself with the enemy to save his own friend. I assure you, harming your team was not my intention."

"What do you want?"

"There's a way to save, Ranger Red."

Clara felt like her heart was about to stop. "Wh-what? There is?"

"Yes, I believe there is still time to save him."

"How?"

"For months, I have been developing a special weapon for him. I will send it to you. After you receive it, wait for my instructions."

"Alright, I'll do it."

"Be quick. Time is of the essence."

~Somewhere~

Oliver found himself walking in a void of nothingness. He had no idea where he was or how he got there. The only thing he knew was that with each step, he felt a world of pressure lift from his shoulders. He continued to walk on, feeling lighter with every passing moment.

~Cue Theme~

~Skybrooke Quarry~

Aries had taken all his prisoners to the Quarry. At that moment, his prisoners were tied up ready to be delivered to the Zodiacs. Their Morphers were in Aries' possession and the Zodiacs himself was gone. In his place, a squadron of Dusters kept the powerless teens in control.

"So you knew all along?" Becca asked.

Gracie nodded. "Since Family Day."

"We just didn't say anything." Charlie explained.

Teddy spoke, "We're sorry you got into this." Images of Oliver getting killed by TK flashed in his head, like a bad dream that refused to be forgotten. In anger he punched the ground. "How could he do this?"

Becca, with a quaking voice, reminded, "It was for his friend."

"He killed Oliver!"

James tried to calm Teddy down while Daniel explained, "Aries' ability is going to save TK's friend. We would risk everything for each other too."

A Duster smacked the Silver Ranger in the face with the back of its hand. "Quiet." It grunted.

~Skybrooke Hospital~

"Do it." TK pressed impatiently. He and Aries stood by Greg's bed, the former Orange Ranger anxiously waiting.

Aries gripped his staff and let the green light flow into Greg's body. The light made the boy stir and when it turned gold, his eyes finally opened.

"Greg!" TK half yelled in relief. He threw himself around his friend in a tight hug.

"It is done. Goodbye." Aries nodded before teleporting away.

Greg asked, "TK what happened? How'd I get here?"

"That doesn't matter." TK sighed with tears in his eyes. "I just need you to do something for me." He reached into his backpack and pulled out a Zodiacs switch; it was the switch Greg had used that put him in the coma in the first place.

"Press the switch's button and you'll be fine."

Nodding, Greg hit the switch. A dark, purple aura rose out of Greg and dispelled into thin air, making the switch fade away.

Again, the two friends embraced in a heartfelt hug.

"It'll be okay, now." TK sobbed into Greg's shoulder.

~Skybrooke Lighthouse~

Clara managed to make her way into the main lighthouse, remembering Tyson's instructions.

"Get to the Skybrooke Lighthouse. At the top, you will find the means to resurrect your Red Ranger."

Nodding with resolve, Clara sprinted up the spiraling staircase. Finally, she made it to the top to find a black box waiting for her. She opened it and found what appeared to be a black and silver, rectangular belt buckle. Next to it was a Train Booster figurine that was all gold. She closed the box and opened the com channel.

"I've got it, Tyson."

"Good. Now get back to your Red Ranger."

~Elsewhere~

TK walked through the city streets with a sense of relief and joy. The thought of having his best friend back filled his being with warmth. Except, it quickly vanished when he thought about what he had done to do it.

Oliver, the first person to become his friend after Greg's coma, died at his hands. The betrayal he had placed on the Rangers was pricking into his head. Did the end really justify the means?

TK was snapped out of his thoughts when his phone began to ring. It was Greg's Mom.

"Hello?"

"TK, there's something wrong with Greg."

"Wait what? No!" TK replied in alarm. "What's happening?"

"The doctors say his body's still fighting off whatever put him into his coma. He's in pain!"

"No..." TK whispered. "This can't be happening..." TK clenched his fists. "What've I done?" Images flowed through his head like a movie without sound. Numerous memories of the Rangers including him in everything they did rapid fired through his mind. It then dawned on him. "Aries..." With that, he sprinted toward the Quarry.

~Skybrooke Quarry~

"Stop, Aries!" TK shouted as he arrived.

Aries shook his head. "And what're you doing here?"

"You lied. You didn't help Greg at all!"

The Zodiacs laughed. "Specifically, the deal was to wake him up, not heal all his injuries. Consider yourself duped. You're stuck powerless and friendless, and the rest of my Colleagues will be here to eliminate these Teenagers."

"I won't let you!" TK shouted making storm clouds appear above them all.

The rain began to pour as the boy charged forward to be met by Duster resistance.

TK kicked a Duster in the face and flipped another one on its back. Using the wind to boost his agility, he glided low to the ground, knocking the soldiers down one by one. However, he wasn't strong enough to incapacitate all of them.

He was kicked in the back and sent into a pile of rocks. He hissed in pain, feeling a few points dig into his skin. Shaking it off, he sprinted forth once more. With each passing moment, he felt himself slow down from fatigue. The punches and kicks to his body were barely registered due to the numbing chill of the rain and the adrenaline coursing through him.

"TK, stop!" Becca pleaded. "You don't need to prove anything!"

A Duster threw the boy in front of the teens and he struggled to his feet.

"I killed Oliver... I'm not asking for forgiveness... But... I need to do this."

He ran forward only to get punched in the gut and sent flying back once more. "No matter what, I'm getting you all out of here!"
Ripping off his orange hoodie and throwing it on the ground, TK ran forward screaming like a warrior.

~HQ~

Clara burst into the infirmary with the box in hand. "Now what?" She asked Tyson.

"Activate Ranger Red's Morpher and place the belt buckle around his waist." She did so, earning a stare from Ben.

He cried, "What're you doing?! Get away from him!"

Clara pushed Ben away and shouted, "There's a way to save him!"

"What?"

"I can't explain now, just do as I say!"

Ben nodded and Clara gave him a quick smile before getting back to work. She pressed Oliver's wrist band and transformed it into his Morpher. She then inserted his Trans-Card, making the Red Train Booster appear. Afterward, she pressed the buckle to his waist. In a split second, the buckle shot out a black band that wrapped around Oliver's waist, forming a complete belt.

"Now what?" Clara asked.

"Have your scientist prepare a vial of pure cosmic energy."

Clara had Ben explain to Dr. Kyle the situation and grab the materials needed. Within a few minutes, the two came in the room.

"Save my son." Was all Dr. Kyle said before handing Clara the vial.

Tyson continued, "Now pour the Cosmic Energy onto the Gold Train Booster."

When Clara did so, the Booster came alive with rainbow colored energy.

"Now, you must insert the Booster into the belt while Ranger Blue throws the Transformation switch on Ranger Red's Morpher."

"Easy enough." Ben said all too anxiously.

"You must do so at the same time in order for it to work. Any misstep will mean the loss of him."

"Right." Clara nodded. "You ready, Ben?"

"For Oliver." Replied with determination in his eyes.

"For Oliver."

The two activated the devices with exact precision, causing both to glow with Cosmic Energy.

"Hang on!" Tyson's voice sounded. "You two must stay in place and keep the power in control."

The two Rangers struggled, trying to keep the items in place. The surge of energy ran through them, making them struggle and grunt in pain.

~Somewhere~

Oliver was long out of the dark space and was finally walking on a path of light. All around him, bright, colorful flowers blossomed along his path as he went along. At the end of this path was a figurine whom the boy recognized.
"Dad?"

Mr. Oliver nodded and smiled at his son.

"Dad!"

Before Oliver could take a step forward, his Dad stopped him. "It's not time for us to meet again, Oliver."

"Why?"

"You're still needed, as am I."

"But..."

"Oliver!" The Red Ranger turned to see Clara and Ben standing behind him.

"What're you two doing here?" He asked in confusion. "But.. Dad... I..." His Dad was gone, and there was nothing but a bright light ahead.

Ben pleaded, "We need you to come back. Our friends need us!"

"Do not listen..." Came a soothing, female, angelic voice. "You have done all you could. It's time for you to become a part of the Universe once more."

Clara grabbed Oliver's hand and tried to pull him away. "Come on!"

Ben grabbed onto his wrist. "Please!"

"You cannot go against the Universe!" The voice raised her volume. Suddenly, the light began to suck in like a vacuum, trying to take Oliver. The boy began to lift of the ground. Ben and Clara did their best to keep him grounded.

"I have to go back!" Oliver shouted.

"He's coming with us!" Clara told the void. "With all of us!"

Suddenly, Teddy, Becca, James, Casey, Gracie, Lola, and Charlie appeared in a line behind Ben and Clara. Each were pulling as hard as they could in a Tug-of-War with what appeared to be the Universe.

Finally, TK appeared on the other side of Clara. To their shock, he too grabbed Oliver's wrist and pulled as much as his body would let him.

~HQ~

Clara and Ben finally managed to keep the Morpher and Buckle in place. The two were in a trance and Dr. Kyle did nothing but stare in awe. As the Morpher and Buckle resonated, a voice announced, "Final Form: Ready."

~Elsewhere~

"Oliver!" Clara shouted. "You need to Morph!"

"Now!" Ben instructed.

"Right!" Oliver nodded, fixating his eyes onto his closest friends.

Together, the Rangers and their civilian friends blared out, "TRANSCODE: FUSION FALL!", before being enveloped in a bright light.

~Quarry~

Once more, after numerous counts, TK was rammed to the ground. His shirt was ripped, his face was dirty with mud and blood. His hair was shaggy and his eyes were bloodshot.

"For... Oliver..." He whispered getting up.

"Stop, TK!" James shouted.

"Enough, already!" Becca cried.

"STOP!" Teddy bellowed louder over the claps of thunder.

TK blocked out the voices of the prisoners behind him. He took a step forward, but immediately felt all his strength seep from his body; he couldn't hold on any more. With his body feeling like a bag of bricks and his eyelids failing to stay open, TK drifted forward off balance. However, he didn't feel the sting of gravel under him. Instead, he felt the warmth of someone's arms. Looking up, he gasped, seeing Oliver supporting him in a kneeling position with a grin on his face.

"Miss me?" He asked.

"Oliver!" Teddy yelled in joy. The other Teens yelled in relief and happiness as well.

"It can't be!" Aries shouted in rage.

TK shook his head. "I don't get it."

"You guys brought me back." He explained to everyone. "I was about to cross over when I saw you all..." He looked down at TK and stressed, "all of you needing me to come back."

"But... I killed you... I betrayed you."

Oliver shook his head. "To save your Best Friend. No one's faulting you for anything." He looked around at his friends who all nodded in acceptance. "You're our friend and we forgive you."

TK let a few tears of gratitude fall as he made the skies above clear up. "Thank you..." He whispered.

Ben and Clara appeared next to Oliver and grabbed TK.
"Take him to safety."

Oliver stood up and faced Aries. "You and me, Aries. Let's dance."

"And what makes you think you can beat me?"

"Transcode: Fusion Fall!"

~Oliver Morphing Sequence~

"Now for the next step." Oliver raised the buckle he got from Tyson. "Battle Grid, set!" He slid the buckle over his usual one, which made the digital voice announce, "Final Form: Ready."

Oliver pressed the left side of the buckle down, making the whole thing slightly slanted. He raised the Gold Train Booster and slid it into the slot in the middle of the buckle.

"Battlizer, activate!"

~Battlizer is on Oliver's wiki Page~

"Cyber Fusion Red: Battlizer Mode!"

"Don't be so cheeky!" Aries growled sending energy beams out from his staff. Oliver raised his left wrist. "Bio-Shield!" A circular shield on his left wrist came alive and blocked all the attacks coming his way as if it were nothing.

Tyson's voice echoed in his head. "Your Battlizer gives you access to enhanced versions of the powers and abilities of your fellow Rangers. Use them well."

"Bio-Gatling!" Oliver summoned a red, heavily armored form of Ben's Gatling and fired numerous powerful energy blasts from the twin barrels. Aries tried to block them, but the speed of the projectiles were too fast for him. The lasers landed solid hits on his chest.

"Bio-Hammer! Bio-Axe!" This time, red and black versions of the Signal Hammer and Bridge Axe appeared in each of Oliver's hands.

"Awesome..." Daniel whispered.

"He's going toe-to-toe with him." Charlie pointed out.

Oliver glided forward, weaving his way around all of Aries' attacks. He landed in front of the Zodiacs and smashed into him with his axe before slamming his side with the Hammer.

"Bio-Cannon!" Larger bursts from Oliver's improved Cyber Cannon destroyed Aries' staff, depriving the General of his power.

"Bio-Claw!" He swing up, sending Aries straight into the air, causing the General to drop the Morphers he had in his possession.

"Now, for the final strike!" He announced pulling out a new weapon. It was a blaster weapon with a flat top. The center was circular where he placed the Golden Train Booster. Around it were five rectangular slots. He placed his own Red Train Booster in the back slot.

"Ben! Clara! Your Train Boosters!" The two nodded and threw him their Boosters.

From there, Oliver loaded the Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink Boosters into the empty slots.

"Connection Cannon!" Oliver yelled. "Fire!" A burst of rainbow energy flew from the cannon's nozzle and collided with Aries, making him explode.

Aries' host was nowhere to be seen.

~Later On~

"Are you sure about this?" TK asked. They all gathered at HQ to where TK came clean about everything. "After all I've done?"

"Everyone here's forgiven you, TK." Clara reminded. "Please... officially join us."

"But I don't have my powers."

"You do." Tyson's voice came from a monitor.

"Really? Are you sure?"

"You redeemed yourself when you stepped in to save the Cyber Rangers without Power. But, do not make me regret this decision."

"I won't!"

"TK? Will you join us?" Oliver asked raising his right hand for a handshake.

The boy smiled genuinely for the first time and grabbed Oliver's. "You bet."

"All's well that ends well." Dr. Kyle breathed sitting down in her chair.

Ben excitedly asked, "Is it too late to celebrate?" To which all the other Rangers laughed.

~Zodiacs Base~

"Another General lost." Virgo observed. "The Red Ranger's new armor boosts his power exponentially. I'd say he's almost as strong as I am."

Libra asked, "Sir, why let our Generals perish without letting them use their full powers?"

Mizuki shook his head and replied, "The Astro Alignment is upon us. Soon, I will harness its power. So until then, we must keep sending in Generals to build up enough power."

Libra still did not understand. "Astro Alignment?"

Virgo said, "In due time, Libra. In due time."

A/N: Yay! All's well that end's well.

Next Time: An Astronaut Examination comes to the Academy and the highest scorers will be give a chance to go to an Astronomy Academy on a full scholarship! The Rangers, of course, try their hands at it. However, when a Zodiacs General appears during the test, she is benign and wants no trouble! What could this mean?
