Rye POV...

I work up to find the house empty and a note from Katniss saying that she was over at Wills.

I know they're all hiding something from me, I just know it.

The shifty eyes.

The avoiding me and walking out a room every time I walk in.

The discussions that suddenly stop when I come back from Bow's house.

Urgh. Bow.

Don't even get me started on her. No of course I don't like her. Did you honestly think I was that stupid that I'd fall in love with a fake bitch like her?

You see, while we were in district 4...I planned to tell Brianna all about my feelings for her...and I did...

"Brianna" I called, watching her strut about on the sand with that goddamn black bikini on.

"What Rye?" She called back, clearly annoyed I had disturbed her. "Can't you see that I'm busy?"

I rolled my eyes and signalled to her that I needed to talk to her...alone.

"URGH FINE." She stomped off towards the hotel, not waiting for me to catch up.

I left the happy couple - Kassie and Blake - who looked like they were eating each others faces and sprinted after Bri.

She was in her hotel room. She let me in, looking like she was ready to chop my head off. Her black bikini was still on and I gulped before nervously smiling at her.

"What is it Rye? What is it now? You always interrupt when I'm having fun. You always have!" She glared at me before slamming the door behind me.

"Bri...I need to tell you something okay. I can't stand it. I can't stand not telling you anymore." She began to yell at me but I placed my fingers over her lips to silence her. "Please, just hear me out. I don't care if you don't think the same. I just need you to know. I don't know how long I've felt this way. I've only just realised. But I need to tell you Bri. Brianna. I'm in love with you. I'm in love with you and all the little things that you do. Like when you smile. And when you twitch your nose or run your fingers through your hair when you think no-ones looking. I'm in love with your eyes. I'm in love with you." I looked at her, biting my lip nervously. She was crying. She was actually crying. I knew it. I knew she wouldn't feel the same way. "Brianna, I didn't mean t-"

I was cut off by her lips against mine. She ran her fingers in my hair and I was too shocked to respond. She pulled away, confused. "Is something wrong? Rye...I have to tell you something too." She smiled at me and I pressed my lips against hers again. Whatever she wanted to tell me can wait. I ran my fingers down her back, relishing the feeling of her bare tummy pressed against my bare abs. I pressed her against the wall and hoisted her up so her legs encircled my waist. She giggled before moving her lips to my neck. I moaned and she whispered in my ear. "I don't care if you think we're going too fast. I've waited too long for this. Bed. Now." I glanced at her in shock before hesitantly placing her on the bed and moving over her. She giggled and tugged me down towards her before untying the single tie on her bikini top.

I sighed in frustration. If only I knew what was going to happen. If only I was careful.

I strolled down the boardwalk, walking over to the ice cream stand to get some ice cream for Bri and I. Brianna. I was so happy. She loved me! She honestly did! I was about to ask for a chocolate ice cream when I heard someone call my name. I spun around, expecting to see Kassie, Blake, Dale and Brianna.

It wasn't them.

It was Bow.

"What are you doing here Bow." I seethed, glaring at her.

"Rye, Rye, Rye...why I was just here for a little holiday of course! But I happened to pass by a certain room today...and I just happened to see or should I say my camera just happened to see...a certain two people...doing a certain something...through the window!" I paled, before fuming with anger.

"You BITCH! Delete that. That's illegal...and disgusting!" I could feel people start to look towards us.

"Now, now Rye...I wouldn't yell if I were you...who knows...the video could just accidentally be sent to everyone in district 12...and we both know what would happen if people saw that video, don't we?"

I did. People would laugh at Brianna. Call her a whore. She would be ridiculed and if the headteacher found out she would have no chance of going to Panem Uni...she would be kicked off the scholarship list.

My throat dried up in horror.

"What do I do to keep the video from spreading?" I heard myself saying before Bow smirked.
