Disclaimer: I do not own the Vampire Diaries.

A/N Hello everyone... Please do not murder me, whilst I'm slumbering or otherwise. I'm also sorry this took a bit to get uploaded, but I had a super busy, fun summer. I feel really bad everytime I take super long to put out a chapter, because I really enjoy writing and I know you guys are waiting for new chapters. But sometimes I just do not feel up to it... This is just something I do for fun and to make you guys happy. And if I'm not happy with something that I put out, it's gonna show in the writing.

Anyways...

How would you all feel if I combined The Dinner Party and The House Guest? I really want to get Klaus in sooner and not a lot happens in The Dinner Party (on Meg's part at least). But I also don't want to skip episodes completely considering I've been writing every episode.

I hope you enjoy this chapter, darlings.

"Why the hell would you tell them about the moonstone?!" I ask Tyler.

"They were asking me all sorts of questions about Mason! I didn't know what to tell them! I told you to go!" he says, flailing his arms like a crazy person.

I growl and run my fingers through my hair. There's not much I can do about it. He's not wrong.

"I'm sorry. It's fine, Ty," I say and he looks relieved.

"Good," he says.

"How come I wasn't invited to the sleep over?" I ask, looking for something else to be mad about.

"You never answered your phone," Tyler says with a laugh.

"I was busy! Whatever, man. At least I didn't get kicked out," I say and he laughs again.

"What are you gonna do with Jules?" he asks.

"Oh, I let Trevor kill her," I say and he looks shocked.

"Really?!" he asks.

"No," I say with an eye roll, "She's being super lame and broody."

"You are torturing her," he says, clearly trying not to laugh at me.

"Yeah, yeah. Just go make sure the werewolves are gone," I say.

"Fine," he says, leaving his room hesitantly.

"Thank you for helping out, Meg," Carol says.

"No problem, Mrs. Lockwood," I say.

"You can leave if you'd like to. But you're free to stay," she says.

I watch her walk away before I shake my head.

"Well, a tea party? Hot damn! Why the hell would I leave?" I ask myself with an eye roll.

"Ms. Gilbert," a voice says and I turn to see Elijah.

"Hello, undead vampire," I say and he smiles.

"Undead vampire is a bit redundant. Don't you think?" he says.

"I suppose so," I say.

"Hello, Meg. Elijah," Damon say as he walks over with Andie.

"Damon. Candie," I say in a voice much too cheerfully to be serious.

"Andie," she corrects.

"Again. I still can't seem to care," I say and gesture to Damon.

"Elijah, this is Damon. I believe you've already met," I say and Elijah gives me a look.

"What are you doing here, Meg?" Damon asks.

"Apparently my kindness earned me an invite," I say, squinting my eyes slightly and smirking, "I'm sure that's never happened to you."

Damon smiles at me sarcastically before turning to Andie.

"Andie, why don't you and Meg have a talk? Elijah, would you come with me?" Damon asks.

They walk away leaving me with Andie. My phone buzzes and I take it out to see a message from Tyler.

"They know about Elena being the doppelganger. They know she's at the lake house. I don't know what they're planning."

"Tyler! What the hell?!" I reply.

"You said play along!" he responds.

"Don't you dare let them kill my sister!" I text and put my phone away.

"Hello," Andie says, waving her hand in my face, "Are you listening to me?"

I grab her hand and bend it backwards, making her grunt in pain.

"Don't ever do that again. Okay, Candie?" I say and release her.

I turn around and head in the direction that Damon and Elijah went. I hear them in the study and I slink into the room. They remain staring at each other, although, I'm sure they both heard me.

"Why don't you just stay focused on keeping Elena safe and leave the rest to me," Elijah says and starts walking towards me.

Damon vamp-speeds in front of him so he can't leave.

"Not good enough," Damon says and I almost hit myself in the forehead for his stupidity.

Elijah grabs Damon by the throat and speeds him into a wall. Damon then grabs Elijah's throat in retaliation, but Elijah grabs Damon's hand and pulls it off of his neck with such ease it's hard to think that Damon's not human. He crushes Damon's hand as he pulls it off and Damon groans in pain.

"You young vampires, so arrogant," Elijah says and drops Damon's hand from his own, but continues to hold Damon by his neck, "How dare you come in here and challenge me?"

"He dares, because he's an idiot," I say and Elijah glances at me with a little smirk.

"You can't kill me, man. It's not part of the deal," Damon says and Elijah returns his attention to him.

"Silence," Elijah says and grabs a pencil lying on the desk and stabs Damon in the neck with it.

Damon clutches at the pencil and yelps in pain. Elijah lets Damon go, making him fall against the desk. Damon removes the pencil and claps his hand over the bloody wound. Elijah whips out a handkerchief from his pocket and wipes the blood off his hands.

"I'm an Original. Show a little respect," Elijah says, holding the handkerchief in front of Damon's face.

Damon grabs it quickly and places it on his wound.

"The moment you cease to be of use to me, you're dead, so you should do what I say. Keep Elena safe," Elijah says and walks past me, nodding as he does so.

I wait a few seconds before hysterically laughing at Damon.

"You're a dumbass. Just so you know," I say through laughter.

"Shut up," Damon says and I grin widely.

"That was seriously hot though," I say.

"Thanks," he says, smirking slightly, and I scoff.

"Not you, dumb dumb. Scary, sexy, Original vampire guy," I say, doing a shimmy with my shoulders, and he rolls his eyes.

"Let's get out of here," he says and I nod in agreement.

"You men and your bourbon," I say, shaking my head as I watch Ric and Damon drinking in the library.

"Today was a bust," Damon says.

"Yeah. How's the throat?" Ric says and I giggle.

"Sore," Damon says throwing me a glare.

"Yeah. That Elijah's one scary dude, but with nice hair," Ric says.

"Very nice hair," I say.

"Hey. You want another one?" Ric asks, getting up.

Damon hands him his glass and Alaric walks over to the bar.

"He's gonna be hard to kill," Damon says.

"Yeah. I'd think twice before I'd trust that dagger and some ashes to do the job," Ric says as he pours more bourbon in their glasses, "You're gonna need more info."

"I'm out of sources," Damon says.

"What's up with you and this news chick?" Ric asks.

"Yes. Do tell," I say.

"Ooh," Damon says and Alaric hands him his glass of bourbon, "She's got spunk, huh?"

"If by spunk you mean she's incredibly boring, then yes, Candie possesses lots of the spunk," I say with a smirk.

Alaric sits back down on the couch, chuckling at me, then looks at Damon meaningfully.

"Just don't kill her, please," Ric says.

"If I did, who would report her death?" Damon says and I give a loud laugh earning a look from Ric.

"I'm sorry. That was good," I say.

"Just don't do it, all right? She's friends with Jenna, and it's bad enough that I'm lying to her about everything else. I hate the lies," Ric says and takes his phone out of his pocket.

"Oh, God. I got to go. I got to pick Jenna up," Ric says, standing up and looking at Damon who hasn't budged, "Don't worry. I'll, uh, show myself out."

Damon places his hands on the back of his head and shuts his eyes.

"Good luck," Damon says.

"Bye, Pops," I say and Ric smiles at me, shaking his head.

Alaric walks out of the library and I turn to Damon.

"So I was thinking-" I start but jolt up when I hear a loud, crashing noise from the hallway.

Damon's eyes fly open and he walks out of the library and into the hallway. I smell werewolves and I quickly run out of the room, only to be grabbed.

"Aww..." I say.

The werewolf holding me chuckles and I hear loud crashing sounds in the other room.

"Whew! Damn, you're strong. It took the whole syringe," I hear a man say eventually.

"Grab that one. He's dead," the same voice says and I hope it's Alaric he's talking about, immortal ring and all.

"Damon, right?" the man says and suddenly three more werewolves enter the library, one of them carrying Damon.

"Ooo, who do we have here?" the man says and I give him a look.

"A highly pissed off, Meg Gilbert. Tell him to let me go. Now," I demand and the man chuckles.

"She's fiesty," he says coming closer, "I'm Stevie."

"Steve, if I can call you Steve, make him let me go," I say and he smirks.

"Let her go," he says and the wolf obeys.

"You boys done yet?" he asks.

I look over and see that they have Damon chained to a chair with a wooden spiked metal collar around his neck. He is unconscious, however.

"Ooo! What is that?" I ask and skip over to Damon.

"Umm..." one of the wolves says as I grab the two chains attached to Damon's spiked collar.

"Damon!" I scream and he groggily looks foward.

He looks to the side at Ric and looks panicked for a brief second.

"Morning, sunshine," Stevie says and walks over, taking the chains from me, "I saw this movie once, some torture porn flick. Anyway, they had this collar device that was really cool, so I just modified it some with some wooden nails, and when I pull..."

Stevie pulls the ends of the chains forward, causing the wooden spikes to stab Damon in the neck and making him groan in pain.

"Kinky," I say in amusement.

"So I hear you have the moonstone," Stevie says.

"Oh, if you only knew the irony of this moment right now. Let me tell you how this is gonna go. You're gonna torture me, I don't talk, someone loses a heart," Damon says.

"This time, it'll be you," Stevie says and pulls on the chain again, causing Damon to groan in pain.

"Not gonna help, Meg?" Damon asks.

"I'm outnumbered, Damon. Besides, I like watching you in pain," I say and he rolls his eyes.

"Sadist," he says.

The wolf with the shotgun speaks up, "You know what the great thing about buckshot is? It scatters through the body, maximum damage."

Damon looks at him with feigned intrigue. The wolf lifts the shotgun up and points it at Damon.

"Where's the moonstone?" he asks.

"Get over it, buddy. You're never gonna get it," Damon says.

"You looking for this?" I hear Elijah say and I turn to look at him.

He's leaning against a banister and twirling the moonstone in his hand. Elijah walks down the stairs, places the moonstone on an end table, and backs away.

"Go ahead. Take it," Elijah says and I hide a smirk.

One of the werewolves wolf-speed to rush towards the moonstone, but Elijah plunges his hand into the wolf's chest and rips out his heart. The dead wolf falls down onto the couch. Two other wolves rush at Elijah and he plunges his hands into their chests and rips out their hearts as well.

Stevie wolf-speeds out of the house before he is killed. Elijah walks over to the last wolf, who crouches down and pulls his jacket over his face in fear. Elijah pulls him up from the ground.

"What about you, sweetheart, hmm? You want to take a shot? Yes? No? Yes? Where's the boy?" Elijah asks.

"I don't know," Damon says.

"It doesn't really matter," Elijah says and punches the wolf in the face, successfully snapping his neck, and he falls to the floor.

Elijah then removes the chains strapping Damon down into the chair.

"So you realize this is the third time I've saved your life now?" Elijah asks Damon and I smile at him.

"Thank you," I say and Elijah nods.

Elijah turns around, grabs the moonstone, and walks towards me. He strokes a hand down my face and I raise an eyebrow.

"What?" I ask.

"How is it you look so much like her?" he asks.

"That's how twins work," I say.

"Not Elena. And even so, she's a doppelganger," Elijah says, "I mean-"

"Silviya," I finish and he tilts his head.

"You've spoken to Katerina," Elijah says and I nod.

"You knew Silviya?" I ask.

"I killed her," he says and I take a step back.

He chuckles and shakes his head.

"It's not what you think. I was following Klaus' rules," he says.

"I see," I say.

He smiles once more before walking out of the house.

"Are you sure about this, Meg?" Tyler asks.

"If Mason will mentor you, you'll learn way more stuff. I'm not a great teacher. You can come back when you're ready. We'll still be pack, if you'll want that," I say and he nods.

"Of course I will. Come here," Tyler says and opens his arms for a hug.

I hug him before backing up and looking at him.

"Thank you for going with Brady and making sure he didn't kill Stefan or my sister," I say.

"No problem, boss," he says and I shake my head at him.

"See you around?" I ask.

"See you around," he says with a smile.

I'm speaking to Trevor about Jules who was quiet during the whole exchange, making me think she's up to something.

"She didn't try calling out for her friends. Why would she do that?" I ask.

"I had her gagged at the time. Her screaming was getting annoying," Trevor says.

"Has she been eating?" I ask.

"Of course. Can't have her dying. Yet," Trevor says and I nod.

"Now that her friends are all pretty much dead. She has no one left," I say.

"Just like me," Trevor says.

"Ouch. I thought we were friends," I say with a chuckle.

"With you, Doppelicious? Just friends?" he asks with a big grin.

"Oh, shut up," I say with a laugh.

A/N Just in case someone skipped the giant paragraphs before the story or has already forgotten, I will ask again (aka copy and paste XD)

How would you all feel if I combined The Dinner Party and The House Guest? I really want to get Klaus in sooner and not a lot happens in The Dinner Party (on Meg's part at least). But I also don't want to skip episodes completely considering I've been writing every episode.

Probably not because I like her death in the show haha

TeiaShore-
I know! I'm so excited haha.

DGfleetfox-
I haven't found any which is a bummer. I absolutely love those kinds of stories with less "important" characters. They are so fun to read.
I would speed it up in all honesty because I really want to write Klaus and the rest of my favorite family in already. I might combine episodes... But yes, I do know what you're saying haha.

pinklips90-
I'm so excited for that as well haha. I don't know if I'll have her go with them or not honestly.

biancaj21-
I'm going to go with the original Jenna plot just because there's no reason Klaus wouldn't kill her. I really love Jenna but... I just can't justify saving her for this story.

We're All M-M-Mad Here-
I'm glad that you enjoy it :). And I love Kol so much as well as the rest of the originals. I feel like they'd go extremely well together.
