Chapter 15
**Noelle POV**
I woke up very suddenly when all my friends were around my bed yelling "wakey wakey birthday girl." I glared at all of them which made them all laugh.
"Come on Noelle. We brought you lunch in bed. You already missed breakfast." Said Jake. I sat up so they would all stop whining, and because I was starving.
James sat the tray over me and I realized everyone had trays. I guess we are having a picnic in my room. I then smelt the food and my hunger took over. I started shoveling food in my mouth.
After we were halfway done with our food Jess starts talking, "So today we have planed a visit to Hagrid's, and then we have a surprise by the lake."
We ate our lunch and the Jake, James, Jess and I headed to Hagrid's where he greeted us with already made mugs of his delicious tea. He also had a bunch of wild and rare flowers he picked from the forbidden forest. He said they were unique just like me. They were beautiful and the aroma was soothing.
As we spent time with Hagrid I noticed the other three were very antsy and kept looking at the clock then at precisely 4 o'clock they jumped up and said it was time to leave. We said our goodbyes to Hagrid and we all but sprinted to the lake. They must be very excited for whatever was happening at the lake.
As we get closer, I can see a giant tent set up and a lot of people around it. All the Potter/Weasley clan was there as well as our other friends. Some other Gryffindor's were there that weren't part of our group. I guess anyone who wanted to come was welcome. I saw Chris and some of the others I hung out with last Christmas were there. I made eye contact and he winked at me. I smiled but looked away feeling slightly awkward.
Under the tent there was a table full of my favorite foods and desserts. There was also music playing all around us. People were in groups playing different games or just talking. It wasn't anything big but it was amazing.
"You guys! This is so great! I love it!" I hugged the three of them and Linda saw the group hug and jumped in and then everyone else started joining. We were all getting pushed around and ended up falling over each other. It was a huge dog pile with Jess, Jake, James and I at the bottom. I realized I was basically on top of James and I felt his arms wrapped around me. It was a magnificent feeling. But everyone started getting off and even though I wanted to stay there I got up and helped James to his feet. He looked at me and we both looked away hiding out blush.
After the dog pile groups started forming again and I was in a group with the three J's and about 6 other people. Somehow the conversation started about the camp I go to and what it was like. I told them what we do and the different gods that I have actually met and Jake would pipe in every now and then. Gage was part of our group and he spoke up. "So, you and Jake actually battle each other?"
"Yeah we have dueled each other a couple of times."
"Dude. That's so cool. Too bad you guys don't have your weapons. I would love to see a good fight."
"But we do have our weapons." I said as I pointed to the burette in my hair. Jake pulled out the two pens that when clicked turn into two hammers. We gave each other a look and jumped up.
"It's been a while Jake. Still think you know what you are doing?" I asked him, getting ready to take the burette out of my hair.
"I can easily take you on, Thomas. Especially since you only have your sword. No shield to protect you." He clicked his pens and two hammers appeared in his hands.
"Well maybe now it will be an even fight." I took the burette out of my hair. A sword appears in my hands as my bangs fall in my face. A crowd appears around us and we fight.
**James POV**
I love hearing about Noelle's second world at her camp. Her life is so magical. Even more magical than mine here in a legit magical wizarding world. Not only does she have this world but she has a completely different world where she has met legit gods. It's crazy.
Then out of nowhere Gage starts talking about fighting and a look I have never seen appears across Noelle's face. I have seen hints of this look when we get into mischief, but nothing to this extreme. Then in seconds two of my best friends have huge and dangerous weapons and everyone gathers around to watch. Jake has these two giant hammers and Noelle has a long and sharp sword. But Jake is like twice her size and so strong. My heart was in my stomach thinking about one of those hammers getting in a good hit. As the duel goes on though, she doesn't get hit once. You could tell Jake was really strong and could have caused a lot of damage with those hammers, but Noelle was so experienced with fighting, she anticipated all his move and was out of the way before she could get hit. It was very impressive how graceful she moved around and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Jake won the first battle when he was able to hit her sword and it fell out of her hand. His hammer was at her neck and if he would have actually swung it would have killed her.
They went at it again. This time Noelle didn't hold back. She was swinging and dodging and within 2 minutes of the fight she had knocked one of the hammers out of Jakes hand and was under his throat with that sword. She was very close to Jake and for a second I wished I was the one she was standing that close to. But not with that sword at my throat.
They put their weapons away and just in time because professor McClain told us it was time to wrap things up and head inside. I hadn't realized how late it was getting. Noelle comes over to me with a huge smile on her face. One I'm not use to.
"Gods I love fighting. The adrenaline really brings me to life. How would you like to battle me, James?" She asked and the look in her eyes made it very hard to think. Some could mistake it for crazy, or if I thought she was into me, it could be that she was flirting. I could see the confidence in her eyes and the adrenaline still coursing through her body. I tried to keep my cool but it was tough.
"Well, since I'm not trained like you and Jake are, I don't think I could take you. Now if you want to have a wizarding duel, I'm all for it." I winked at her trying to show as much confidence as she was having.
She gave me a side smirk that just exuded confidence. "I'll definitely have to take you up on that offer, Potter."
"I'll be waiting, Thomas." She raised her eyebrow at me and trotted off, and I watched, still stunned by that new side of Noelle I haven't seen. This girl…really is something different. I tried to collect myself as well as I could and helped the other clean up.
