Setting: Pre-The Lightning Thief I guess since it's medieval times and all… but on the other hand, I guess it could also be during the Blood of Olympus, considering the end

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom named Olympia. It was divided into two parts, one named Jupiter and the other one was called CHB. No one was sure what its full name was. (1) Something-Blood? Who knew?

CHB was run by King Perseus and his Queen, Annabeth. Their main export was science and medicine stuff, but King Perseus—or Percy—also exported fish, horses, and swords. He was also famous for mass-importing stupidity from Queen Octavian of Jupiter—against Annabeth's will—but that's another story.

Speaking of Jupiter, they were ran a bit differently. They exported animal stuffing, had more weaponry than CHB, and they trained their citizens Spartan-Style, which was extremely ironic because they identified as Romans despite not having an ounce of Italian blood (except for Princess Nico, but that was irrelevant) and meanwhile on the other side of the kingdom CHB thought their people were Greek, so all in all, in was a big happy kingdom of ethnicity-confusion and split personality disorder, especially with the elders.

Also, as was said before, Queen Octavian handed out stupidity and a lack of common sense almost for free.

Now, usually the girl was the Queen, but King Reyna didn't trust Octavian in the highest power of authority. Besides, no one liked him anyway. It was bad enough that Reyna had to marry the idiot.

They had two children, neither actually being their kids, of course. The first one, Prince Jason, was the heir to the throne, but he was secretly planning on running away to CHB to live and marry the girl he was courting, the fair Piper.

Princess Nico was a different story. He used to live in Italy, then moved to CHB. A few years later he discovered that his half-sister lived in Jupiter. He moved there and stopped going to CHB as much and only went back to ogle at King Perseus and wish that he was allowed to have him.

Recently, he'd started visiting his old home for a different reason. Healer Will had caught his eye and he liked to pretend to be injured so he could visit him without question. He'd learned that Queen Annabeth had made a law that everyone must congratulate Nico and Will on their courtship—weirdly approved by her husband—and since they weren't exactly courting—yet—they stayed in the healer's home to do whatever they did during these meetings to avoid annoying people, particularly Nico's foster brother, who was big on teasing him about it whenever he had the chance.

Actually, Queen Annabeth of CHB was the blood-niece of Prince Jason and the blood-second cousin of Princess Nico, a fact that was really weird. Also, the fact that Princess Nico was Princess Nico made no sense, but perhaps Reyna wanted to continue to gender-confused line.

Queen Reyna was currently punishing Blacksmith Leo of CHB for firing at Jupiter with cannons while under the influence of an evil wizard, which CHB was protesting.

Reyna also kidnapped the gypsy from CHB to tell the future, which used to be the job of Queen Octavian, but everyone agreed that the way he brutally murdered toys would give children nightmares.

And they wonder why he's just a Queen.

Rachel was also appointed as Castle Jester, which honestly sounded more like a Leo job, not a job for her.

Honestly, Thalia of CHB didn't even know why her mistress, Lady Artemis, or Diana as the Jupiterians called her, had appointed the girl for the job of Knight of Jupiter, especially when she suspected that they were on the brink of war. Hmmmm…. Maybe she could plan an accident for the Queen. Annabeth and Percy would be proud.

Next to her was the half-sister of Princess Nico. She was also appointed as a knight, just like Thalia. Currently the two were watching Reyna dish out Leo's punishment. Evidently, Queen—ahem, King— Reyna decided to make him the bishop and force him to wear a certain outfit for his uniform. Thalia and Hazel snickered from their posts, thinking of Leo in priestly robes. The thought was ridiculous.

Leo apparently thought so too. "Oh, come on! That's the best you can do? Couldn't you at least fire me from a cannon?"

Queen Octavian scowled. He was fired from a cannon once. Not fun. Unfortunately for everyone, he survived. Maybe then CHB and Jupiter might not be on the brink of war.

Prince Frank of China stepped forward. Technically, he was also from Jupiter as he commanded the archers of Jupiter's army in war. There wasn't a lot, expect for the sons of Mistress Diana's brother who lived in Jupiter and a few others.

"May I have an audience with Princess Nico?" He asked nervously.

"Make it quick." Princess Nico said with sigh. Reyna and Prince Jason gave him smiles that he figured were meant as encouraging.

"Will you marry me?"

For a few seconds, Nico was silent, but then he managed to process the words the Head Archer of Jupiter had asked him. "Aren't you already courting my half-sister, Dame Hazel?"

"Oh, yes. I… really don't know what just came over me." He ran out of the throne room. Reyna looked at Queen Octavian, and then at Dame Hazel, and then at the door that the archer had left out of. Slowly, the gender-confused King came up with a plan, involving a new co-ruler… as long as the knight didn't object.

Reyna sighed. "Go get Rachel."

Rachel wasn't very entertaining to the Royals. Of course, painting yourself gold isn't very cool, especially when you announce that you're doing it to raise awareness to the evil of whaling.

"Bring Leo the Bishop forth." Reyna ordered. Leo approached, still a bit miffed at the Royal family for forcing him into such ridiculous clothing. "Tell us what you are doing to help the lands I allowed for you to govern."

"I planning on having a large dragon protect them—"

"I've heard enough!" Prince Jason yelled, holding his hands to his head in a manner that suggested that he was having a migraine. "Dame Thalia, take him to the dungeon."

Speaking of Prince Jason and Dame Thalia, their story was a bit of an odd one, and no one knows the detailed version(2). They were born as siblings—Dame Thalia a few years older—but somehow Prince Jason found his way into the royal family of Jupiter.

As Thalia grabbed the bishop roughly by the arm, a struggling Leo called out, "Like you're any better! The whole of Olympia knows that you think you can fly. Hah!" Jason scowled while his foster brother—sister?—snickered.

"Well, what if this dragon is real?" Nico questioned as Leo was led off. Reyna seemed to consider this.

"Hazel, I need you to go dragon-hunting."

"You can't be serious." Queen Octavian said, his head in his hands.

"I am." Reyna looked deadly.

Hazel was in the forest. She was a jeweler slash sorcerer before she became a knight, but she liked the horse she got out of the job, so she didn't complain. The dragon appeared in front of her. She tensed, but it didn't seem to notice her. She decided to go track down Frank instead.

Suddenly, Queen Annabeth and King Percy of CHB barged into the throne room. "We want to unite Olympia together." Queen Annabeth yelled. "Either you bow down to us and combine two kingdoms or we take them by force. We have one-fourth of the whole CHB army with us ready to capture your lands if need be. I would suggest you pick the wiser choice."

Of course, Reyna, as take-charge and regal as she is, and Octavian, as ambitious and blood-thirsty as he was, did not take well to this order from the CHB royals.

Thalia just shook her head and walked out of the back of the place. She met up with Frank outside and they went to track down Dame Hazel. Honestly, none of the three really wanted anything to do with fighting CHB, especially when Thalia was originally from there and the other two were actually close friends of King Perseus.

When they met up with Hazel, they both were concerned by the fact she seemed so out-of-breath.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Dragon." Was all she said.

Leo's hands lit up in fire. "Well, that's new." Using these powers he melted the whole cell he was in. He went looking for his Dragon.

Later, the fight between the royals was interrupted by Bishop Leo standing on the city wall, yelling at the Jupiter soldiers to give up.

King Reyna yelled at him. "Hey, you're the bishop of Jupiter. The Hell was that?"

"You seem to forget that you stole me from CHB."

"Traitor! Blasphemy! To the stake!" Queen Octavian said. Reyna hit him on the head extremely hard, causing him to effectively shut up.

"Festus, come!" The green dragon in the woods came to the parapets of the castle and sat next to Leo, who climbed on top of the dragon. The dragon climbed down and roasted most of the people down there, both CHB and Jupiter alike.

"Yeah… I'm working on that… there are still some technical difficulties we need to sort out."

Reyna knocked Percy off his feet with her sword. "Prepare to die. I hope you know I still really hate you for killing my mentor."

King Percy looked at her sheepishly. "In my defense, she was an evil sorceress who tried to kill me and my beautiful wife."

Annabeth rolled her eyes at this. She was wise enough to know that this fight was over. "Okay we surrender. Let's go home." The two left with the rest of their surviving army, except for the Fair Piper, who stopped to embrace a stunned Prince Jason.

"Oh, now you guys show up." Reyna said to her three knights, who had only appeared now—they didn't want to fight the CHb-ians anyway.

Leo's Dragon came and carried the CHB-ians home, who were so tired none of them complained.

Artemis rolled her eyes during the Olympian Council meeting. "What was the point in showing the demigods their past lives in a vision?"

Hermes looked at her. "What? It's so funny how similar their lives were then to now." (3 and 4)

3. If you didn't understand that, this follows the headcannon that the demigods did, in fact, have earlier lives, and then died, went to Elysium, and chose to be reborn.

4. The reason that Hazel doesn't remember her medieval life is of course, because you have to stop in the river Lethe before you can be reborn. So after her medieval life, she did that, and entered her WWII-era life. In that life, as we all know, she didn't get granted Elysium, so she didn't get to remember her previous life. I hope that answers some questions you guys might have.

a [Reyna] is now King, [Octavian} is now Queen. What do these two feel about having to be married and rule together?

b. What is the first thing [Reyna] would do to [Leo], now that they have ultimate power? What could [Reyna] make [Leo] do?

c. [Rachel] is appointed as Castle Jester. Why? How does this make them feel?

d. [Thalia] and [Hazel] are knights in shining armor. Will they be good at protecting their monarchs, [Reyna] and [Octavian]?

e. [Nico] is a princess and [Jason] is a prince. [Annabeth] is an old relative who has no right to the throne. Describe their feelings.

f. [Leo] has to be the bishop. The find themselves in long, priestly robes. What is their response to this?

g. Finally, [Frank] is a wealthy prince/ss from a neighboring kingdom, come to ask the lovely princess [Nico] for their hand in marriage! They must ask. They can't control their actions in the castle! How are they feeling as they walk up to [Nico] and perform a flourishing bow?

h. What does Princess [Nico] do? Does she/he accept the proposition?

i. Time for some entertainment! [Rachel] is sent in front of the royalty. How does she try to amuse the Royal Highnesses? Are they at all funny?

j. After this, [Leo] the bishop is called forth. [Jason] is not pleased by his presentation. They call for Sir [Thalia] to take [Leo] away to the dungeon! Why? How does this go?

k. The other knight, Sir [Hazel], decides to go dragon-hunting! He meets an enormous green dragon. What happens to him?

l. [Annabeth] suddenly stands up. For whatever reason, they really want to be the one in charge. They've been a double agent all along! He/she announces that their accomplices, the army from the next Kingdom over, are arriving to take the castle! What do the others do?

m. [Annabeth] wasn't lying! The soldiers have arrived, and the castle is under siege! The Queen, [Octavian], sends [Thalia] and [Frank] to sneak out the back and fetch help. They run into a bedraggled [Hazel]. How does this conversation go?

n. The Bishop [Leo] has escaped from their cell. They discovered that they have magic powers! What would these be?

o. [Leo] goes out onto the parapets and yells at the soldiers surrounding the castle. Then he/she claps their hands together, and the dragon that [Hazel] met appears, flying over the distant hills. He swoops around and sets the enemies alight! Describe how [Leo] is feeling right now.

p. [Frank], [Hazel], and [Thalia] arrive, much too late to do any good. What does the defeated [Annabeth] do, now that they've lost?

q. The dragon is going to take all of your characters back home now! Any objections to riding him?
