Chapter Thirty Six – Have a Little Faith

Central Park, New York City, NY

Stephanie and the Hardy family were surprised to get a visit from Shane McMahon after everything he had done with New York's Finest. They weren't staying in New York long, the whole family was about to fly over to the Sandbox for LC's baby shower but that idea sank fast when Shane showed up and said that he wanted to join Stephanie and Jeff in the hotel business.

"What?" Stephanie and Jeff said at the same-time and Aurora shook her head.

"Mom that sounds like a really bad idea, you two have never gotten along as work colleagues. This would be a huge mistake," Aurora told her mom.

"As big a mistake as me marrying Chris Jericho?" Stephanie asked her daughter.

"Okay that was a mistake of gigantic proportions, this isn't on the same level but it's still a really bad idea," Aurora said.

Shane was saddened to hear the Hardy family's objections, "I'm willing to accept your refusal and go back to Japan with Shelton and Montell but I really want to stay in America for awhile longer and I know Shelton and Montell wouldn't mind speaking English for a little longer. You could get this franchise off the ground a lot quicker with my help Steph," Shane said to his kid sister.

"You know he's got a point there babe, I'm no business man, I'm an artist. Maybe having an extra business minded person onboard wouldn't be such a bad idea," Jeff told his wife.

"Sure it's a great idea, there's just one problem: that business-minded person hates my guts. Shane and I have never agreed on anything when it comes to wrestling, how on Earth are we supposed to get on in the hotel business?" Stephanie said.

Majesty emerged from the hotel lobby after checking to see if Chris Jericho was inside. He wasn't there but after Trish announced the date of LC's baby Majesty knew Jericho would be making an appearance very soon.

"Your hotel is going to be so hot when it finally opens, the art work, the staff; everyone looks like they really wanna be there. Not like when you go to some hotels and the concierge looks like he'd rather be buried alive than work there," Romeo said. "What are you gonna call it?"

"The Legacy hotel and each one will have a sub-name, so for example this one is called the Enigma Legacy hotel and the one in Long Island will be called the Aurora Legacy hotel, the one in New Jersey will be called the Elizabeth Legacy hotel and the one in Miami, Orlando and Fort. Lauderdale will be called the Angela, Angelo and Stephanie Legacy hotels," Jeff said.

"So you named the hotels after your family, that's awesome way-to-put a stamp on your legacy Jeff. That's more than I ever did, right Steph?" Shane said to his sister.

"You're still part of the McMahon legacy Shane, you just need to come to terms with the fact that you don't have to please daddy anymore. You' re free to be yourself, who knows if the Legacy hotel chain goes worldwide maybe you could help us out if we decide to setup a hotel in Japan," Stephanie said. "As far as the US goes, I think this is going to be a Hardy town from now on, so no McMahons allowed. Sorry brother,"

"G'ah you sounded like Hulk Hogan when you said that," Shane said shuddering and Stephanie laughed.

"So no hard feelings?" Stephanie asked Shane.

"No we're good, I'm proud of you Stephanie and I can't wait 'til this hotel chain turns its first profit. Are you booked up for the summer holidays?" Shane asked Stephanie and Jeff.

"Actually no, because of everything that's been going on with the DX family in L.A we haven't really had a chance to get the word out so we're hoping to have this place booked up for the Christmas holidays," Jeff said and Shane looked at him like he was crazy.

"Are you crazy you've got two months of summer in front of you, this place should be full already. You know what I got an idea," Shane said pulling out his cell-phone. "I'm going to call DX and ask if New York's Finest can cut a promo in New York City in the Enigma Legacy, that'll get all the fans here in no time,"

"That's a great idea Shane but I don't think DX have a show here until August," Stephanie said. "Unless they use New York's Finest for a previously recorded segment, that would work great,"

"Yeah you and Jeff could be in the segment and it would really generate interest in your hotel," Shane said and he waited for DX to answer but the call went straight to voicemail. "DX please call Stephanie when you get this message, I'll be in Japan by the time you call back. I hope LC has a healthy baby girl, send me pictures okay? Sayonara!"

"I'm sure they'll call, we really have to get going LC could be having that baby soon and I don't think Aurora would forgive me if she wasn't there to see her brand new niece," Stephanie said and she hugged her brother lovingly. "Thanks for being so nice, it makes a change. I hope it sticks this time,"

"Yeah me too," Aurora said watching Shane with suspicion and Shane furrowed his brow at her.

"You don't trust anyone when it comes to your mom do you Aurora?" Shane asked the Helmsley Girl.

"Let's just say I have a long memory and next to that I have a long list of people who have screwed up my life in one way or another and your name's on it along with Chris Jericho, Eric's Embassy, Sting's son Steven Borden III and the devil," Aurora replied and Shane gulped.

"That's a pretty nasty list, I can't wait 'til I'm off it," Shane said and he waved goodbye to the Hardy family and Majesty before heading to JFK to meet with Shelton and Montell and head back to Japan.

"Wow I can't believe you hugged your brother after all the trouble he caused," Jeff said impressed at Stephanie's forgiveness.

"Family can be tough sometimes but it's still better to get along with family than to lose them altogether," Stephanie said and Angelo Jericho shrugged.

"That's not what I think, I think family can be an accident. Look at me and my sister, if you never married Chris Jericho we would never have been here and he wouldn't be coming after you after all these years," Angelo said and Angela nodded.

"Yeah, family can be a disaster," she added and Beth and Aurora shook their heads in disagreement.

"Don't let Jericho sour you on family, look at our family. We have the best family in the world and now we've got our own family business," Beth said sweetly.

"And you're going off to Harvard in the Fall, think of all that time you'll be spending with Remi and Hayworth, if mom never married Jericho you wouldn't be going to Harvard eighteen years later," Aurora said and Remi nodded.

"See God has a way of working things out. Look at my family, Cameron, LC and Cheyenne knew my mom and dad way before I came along and now that I'm here I get to be the little one everyone loves and it feels great. I don't feel left out at all," Remi said.

"Plus you have not one, not two but three guys fighting over you in classic Heartbreak Kid fashion, you are carrying on the Michaels tradition of breaking hearts," Stephanie said. "Hopefully one of those hearts will not belong to my son,"

"Okay enough about me, let's talk about Chris Jericho. He is going to make a move on the DX family as soon as LC's baby girl is making her way into the world. He'll think everyone will be too distracted to notice he's there but we'll be ready for him, won't we?" Remi said to RJ and Romeo and they nodded.

"Of course he won't be in L.A when the baby is born, he wouldn't be that stupid," RJ said and Remi and Romeo furrowed their brows.

"Then where will he be?" Remi asked RJ.

"I'll be right here," came the voice of Chris Jericho and the Hardy family gasped at the sound of his voice.

"Guys get going leave now and head to L.A we'll take care of Chris Jericho and then we'll see you at the Sandbox later," Remi said to the Hardy family and they left Majesty to get on with their assignment. Remi turned to the voice, "I am not stepping foot in Los Angeles until we have successfully disposed of you once and for all Chris Jericho,"

"You got such a big mouth for such a little girl, I don't know why anyone would want to go out with you," Jericho taunted Remi and she lit up the sky with her fire power revealing the ugly and maimed face of the once pretty and attractive Chris Jericho.

"Urgh, turn the light down Redeemer he's not easy on the eyes at all," Romeo said appalled at Jericho's appearance.

"No I need to see him, we all do. Come on guys this is it, I'm going to open up a portal to Hell and when I do I need both of you to drag him down there with chains," Remi said and Romeo and RJ smiled at that suggestion.

"We've been waiting for this Jericho," RJ said to the disembodied spirit. "I can't tell you how much I want to swing this chain around your neck and yank your ugly face down to the pits of Hell once and for all!"

"What chain what are you talking about? You can't even swing a baseball bat you expect me to believe you can swing a chain like you're Bully Ray, Jr?" Chris Jericho said to RJ sarcastically and Remi ran across the street and opened up a portal to Hell in Central Park. It was in the spirit so nobody normal could see what she had done but the smell was apparent to everyone and people walked by holding their noses.

"Yargh, Central Park smells like crap we need a vacation from this dump," a husband said to his wife and they walked out of the park with their baby in a stroller along with a few other locals.

"How long you gonna keep the portal open Redeemer?" Romeo asked Remi.

"Not important right now True Love we've got more important things to do than appease angry New Yorkers," Remi said and she pointed into the portal and grabbed Chris Jericho in the spirit while RJ and Romeo pulled out two heavy mile long chains. The chains were hot because they were from the bottomless pit. They were especially made for imprisoning wayward demons who refused to accept their eternal punishment for sinning against God and not repenting. They were heavy but the grace of God allowed RJ and Romeo to lift the chains, that was step one. Step two was swinging the chains over the highly antagonistic Chris Jericho who Remi had cornered with the fire of the Holy Spirit so he couldn't move.

"Ready?" RJ asked Romeo.

"Yeah I'm ready, let's do this for our parents, the Hardy and DX family and all the people that have suffered at the evil hands of this demon for the last decade," Romeo said and RJ nodded and together they swung the chains over Chris Jericho.

"Jericho, we bind you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we condemn you to Hell for all eternity!" Remi declared and RJ and Romeo pulled tightly on the chains which were hot like fire but they didn't burn them. Jericho on the other hand was in agony. Majesty looked on soberly as Jericho freaked out, foaming the mouth and screaming maniacally while blaspheming God repeatedly for sending him back to Hell. RJ and Romeo pulled him down into the portal and when he was underneath, they nailed the chains to the ground with a hammer before jumping out, leaving Jericho down there screaming blood curdling screams. He wasn't the only one screaming down there but he was the one screaming the loudest. When they were out Remi closed the portal to Hell and they returned to reality. The smell of Hell vanished as did the sound of Jericho cursing God. Majesty shared a group hug and shed a few tears of joy.

"We did it, we got rid of Chris Jericho once and for all. Majesty completed its first assignment, God is going to be so proud of us!" RJ said.

"Come on let's head over to L.A and welcome LC and Cameron's baby girl into the world," Remi said and they took RJ's Hummer to LAX from JFK and landed there a few hours later to hear the sound of another person screaming in pain.

Santa Monica Hospital, Los Angeles, CA

"ARGHHHHH!"

LC was in the latter stages of labor and she was not happy about it. Having a baby was exactly what she thought it would be, hard and exhausting and as far as LC was concerned her legs had been open for far too long. Joanie was in the room with her along with Cameron who was very emotional over his wife's delivery of their first child. He watched her in amazement as she endured the labor pains like they were from the devil, the sound of her pushing was like music to Joanie's ears.

"The baby's going to be here in a minute!" she assured LC. "Keep pushing Lisa, keep pushing!"

"No stop pushing the baby's out!" the midwife said but LC pushed again and the baby flew out and landed right in Cameron's arms.

"Hey no fair, I go through all that labor and he's the one that gets to hold her first?!" LC complained but the sound of her baby girl laughing broke her into a million happy tears. "Cameron bring her to me please," LC asked reaching for her first child. When Cameron gave LC the baby she saw exactly what Randy Orton had been talking about. The baby was glowing, not just physically but her smile was lighting up the entire room.

"What's with the glowing?" the doctor asked LC.

"Hey your job is done here padre, go make another woman's life a living Hell. Cut the umbilical cord already and scram!" LC said to the doctor who didn't waste any time in doing so. Joanie and Cameron gathered around LC and kissed her forehead after the nurse wiped her and the baby down. The baby giggled as the nurse touched her. The DX family were outside eager to come in but they didn't want to upset LC she'd been screaming all night. The labor pains started right after the baby shower. LC had been in the hospital all Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

"Why did you take so long kid? We've been waiting for you to show up for hours," Hunter said finally coming in with Shawn, Amy, Hayworth and Cheyenne. The baby turned to Hunter and laughed.

"Hey I know you, you're that funny guy that's always making people laugh!" the baby said and the nurse ran out of the delivery room screaming. "Hey do I look that bad? Somebody get me a mirror,"

"Looks like we got another Hayworth on our hands," Shawn said as Hunter admired his talking granddaughter.

"But her mouth isn't moving, how are the words coming out?" Amy said and Cameron pointed to LC.

"She's talking through LC, Trish said that she would for the first three months and then she would talk on her own," Cameron said.

"So LC's going to speak for herself and her baby?" Shawn asked Cameron.

"Actually LC won't be speaking at all," came the familiar voice of Trish.

Hunter shooed her away as she came in. "Go away Trish this is a family moment and we don't need you coming in here and ruining it with your Truth telling abilities," Hunter said to Trish.

"Well then what are you going to do about these people?" Trish said opening the door to the Hardys, the McCools and Majesty who came inside with her to see the baby.

"Congratulations LC!" Aurora said hugging her sister and admiring the baby. "Oh my gosh LC she's beautiful,"

"Why thank you," the baby replied and everyone furrowed their brows in unison.

"Did she just say thank you to Aurora?" Stephanie asked Hunter.

"Yes she did, like her brother Hayworth, we have another special Helmsley baby on our hands and just like Hayworth this baby can talk years ahead of time," Hunter bragged.

"Its got nothing to do with being a Helmsley," Trish corrected Hunter.

"This is why I didn't want you in here, you're such a buzz killer Trish!" Hunter said to Trish.

"It is kind of like Hayworth, are you sure its not the same thing?" Cheyenne asked Trish.

"Don't you go doubting me now Cheyenne, the baby is simply drawing on LC's strength and she's grafted herself to LC's speech and language skills. She's not going to suddenly become a teenager like Hayworth," Trish explained. "This means that LC will not be speaking for awhile, until the baby develops her own personality,"

"What? You mean for three months my wife is going to be mute?" Cameron asked Trish.

"Yes, the next words out of LC's mouth will be "Merry Christmas!"" Trish replied.

"Halleluiah!" Cameron cheered. "No more telling me to get stuff or do stuff, now there's only one person I'll be listening to and that's you baby girl!"

LC snarled at Cameron and reached over to the side of her hospital bed expecting to find Halle there. She tried to ask Cameron where Halle was but when she opened her mouth nothing came out and everyone laughed at her and she mouthed that she would get even with Cameron for this.

"Okay so what are you going to call her Cameron?" Shawn said purposely ignoring LC who was still trying to see if Halle was by her bedside.

"LC's got it written down somewhere, LC where's the baby name that you came up with last night?" Cameron asked LC.

"I know what my name is," the baby replied. "Its Faith Star,"

"How did you know what your name is?" Cheyenne asked her.

"I was there when mom named me, what does my name mean?" Faith Star asked everyone.

"I'll answer the question," Trish said. "It means you'll have faith for the impossible and you will shine brightly when your Gift from God is activated, just like a star,"

"I have a Gift from God, what is it?" Faith Star asked Trish.

"I just told you, you have faith for the impossible." Trish said.

"Okay easy woman I just got out of my mom's vagina, don't be so testy," Faith Star said. "What does testy mean?"

"Wait-a-minute!" Hayworth said suddenly. "Your Gift from God is faith for the impossible, so that means that you could stop me from turning into a Bonehead on my birthday!"

"No Faith Star don't do that, Hayworth needs to embrace his inner moron. Do not turn him into a Brain, you'll ruin him forever!" Hunter said to his granddaughter and Faith Star looked at her parents.

"I'm naked and wet, can you please wrap me in a blanket and take me home, preferably away from these crazy people?" Faith Star asked her parents who wrapped her in a DX blanket and kissed her lovingly.

"Faith Star, you are home and this is your DX family and friends. Welcome to our crazy world, you're going to love it," Cameron told his daughter and everyone took a moment to pray and thank God for the birth of the most amazing baby girl, especially Hayworth who believed that she was the answer to a very specific prayer that he prayed last night when he thought his life was over. For Hayworth Horace, Faith Star was an early Christmas present, to her parents LC and Cameron she would be the girl with the Gift that keeps on giving.
