Chapter 36: Super Saiyan Three?!
"Okay, if your sure, Goku." Mirai said.
The Saiyan from earth glanced back at them. "Positive. Now, you might want to back up a bit."
Kinoko shrugged at Mirai and the two began to float up in the air. The supreme Kai gaped and narrowed his eyes at Goku.
"No Goku, unlike you I have seen the terror of Majin Buu. Even as a Super Saiyan I don't think you'll stand a chance." He explained.
Goku chuckled, keeping a small smirk etched on his lips. "Don't worry Supreme Kai. He's tough I'll tell you that. But it'll be good to see what he's made of."
The Kai sighed and began to float off the ground. "Very well Goku."
The Saiyan looked back before him to where Babidi and Majin Buu stood. He shifted his glance from the master to the monster repeatedly, watchful for any tricks they could play. Kinoko, Mirai and The Supreme Kai landed on a hill where they could keep a good view of Goku and Buu.
"I wonder what new trick he was talking about." Kinoko said.
Mirai smirked a bit, "I'm not sure. But hey the first time I met Goku he showed me his instant transmission. He's always got a new trick."
"Well, if I were dead for seven years and allowed to keep my body I'd learn everything I could." Kinoko commented. All of a sudden, they looked back when some familiar energies came closing in. "Well, there you are. I was beginning to think you ran off." She smirked.
Piccolo grunted. "I went to get sensu beans." He looked forwards with a serious facial expression once he noticed Majin Buu. "I thought we would need them."
Hiru blinked. "That's Majin Buu?"
Goten moved forwards and looked at the scene before him confusedly, "where? All I see is my dad and a pink thing?"
Kinoko glanced at him. "The pink thing is Majin Buu."
Mirai gave a serious look to Trunks and Goten. "Look guys, this isn't the place you two should be. Go back to the others it's safer there."
Trunks glared at himself, "no way! We helped you fight that creep Broly when we were five and six, I'm not scared of a stupid piece of chewed up bubble gum. Right Goten?"
The young boy nodded. "Right Trunks." He agreed.
The Supreme Kai angrily glared at the Saiyans. "Listen to me, Goku is going to need help. There's no way one man can defeat Majin Buu." He sighed and looked down. "Not even us Kai's put together were able to stop him."
Kinoko looked back out to the battlefield. "He said if he needed help he would call us. I'm sure he's not that stubborn."
The Supreme Kai restrained himself from saying what was truly on his mind. 'All you Saiyans are stubborn.'

Majin Buu began to whistle. Goku stared at the monster and the son of the creator with a smirk. But that smirk fell once Babidi began to speak.
"So you want to be disposed of first? Buu go ahead and kill this idiot. Then we can focus on the purple rat the supreme Kai."
Goku smirked once again, "I admit Babidi, he's tough. But so am I."
Babibi began to laugh mockingly. "Oh I'm so scared..." His laugh continued. "Buu, you know what ignore this fool. Just destroy that rat Kai!"
Goku growled and his aura flashed. "Before you reach the others you're going to have to get through me."
Babidi continued to laugh, "oh that's a good one. Very well." He looked to Majin Buu with a grin, "Buu you heard him. Just go right through him."
Majin Buu began to laugh but not in the way Babidi wanted him to. He began to make faces and wave his arms around as if he were some sort if infant. Babidi groaned in annoyance.
"What are you doing?! You fool! Attack him now! Show him what you're made of!" The wizard demanded. "Hurry! Do it!"
Buu stopped all his actions and looked to Goku's direction. "Okay, I do it." He replied.
Buu began to wave his arms rapidly again. Goku rose an eyebrow.
"I don't get it, you're a thousand times stronger than Babidi but yet you let him boss you around like this?" Goku commented.
Buu stopped all movements again and tensed up a bit. Babidi growled and looked to his fathers creation.
"Don't listen to him!" Babidi then looked to Goku with his fist balled up. "And you better keep your trap shut if you know what's good for you! I resurrected Majin Buu! He belongs to me!" Babidi growled. "Of course he's going to do what I say!" Majin Buu grit his teeth together and glared at Babidi. The wizard turned his attention to him. "Hey do you want to go back inside your ball for another million years?!"
"Buu stuffed back in ball, you go bye bye! He gonna make you dead!" Majin Buu replied.
From the rocks they were on, Kinoko rolled her eyes. "You'd think they'd at least make him speak properly." Goten and Trunks chuckled at her comment.
When they looked back, Buu was clapping his hands together lightly. "No worries, I make you safe. Me no like this guy more than you."
Babidi let out a breath and looked to the water below him.
Goku grunted. "So much for talk..."
The wind blew between the two warriors as they prepared to face off.
"H-here I go!" Goku declared and powered up more.
Goten smiled, "whoa! My dad's energy is huge!"
Hiru's eyes widened, "It sure is." He agreed.
Trunks indeed was a bit shocked as well. "He's almost as strong as our dad." It was then that he noticed Vegeta wasn't around. "Wait a minute, where's my dad?" He asked.
Goten looked to Kinoko. "Yeah, and where's Gohan, Kin?"
Mirai tensed up a little. How on earth could he be able to tell the younger version of himself, a version he saw as a little brother that their father became evil again and killed many people at the tournament?
They opened their mouths to respond but were interrupted by something Goku said. "An ascended Super Saiyan isn't much for you, so how about I take it up to the next level?"
"NEXT LEVEL?!" The gang on the rocks repeated.
"What is he talking about?" The Supreme Kai asked.
They all gasped when Goku's hair went back to black.
"What's he doing?!" Mirai yelled.
Buu looked at Goku with confusion. "Why you go down? You no play?" He asked.
Goku smirked, "first I thought I'd teach you a thing or two about Super Saiyans."
Buu and Babidi exchanged glances. "Super Sai-what?" They questioned.
They looked back to Goku, and Babidi smirked. "Don't bother with it, I never asked you to explain anything."
Goku smirked, "Oh don't worry, you're gonna love this. This what you see now, is my normal state." He transformed into a Super Saiyan at ease. "This is a Super Saiyan." His hair became spikier and his muscles buffed up as electricity surrounded his body. "This is an ascended Super Saiyan, or you could just call it a Super Saiyan 2."
Buu nodded in understanding.
"What a useless transformation, you changed your hair, so what?" Babidi's commented.
Goku smirked. "Just wait."
"Could this be the new trick he was talking about?" Mirai asked.
Kinoko blinked, "No way..."
Goku crouched down as his face became serious, "and this is to go even further beyond!" He let out a battle cry as the ground shook, his aura glowed, and the veins on his body began to become visible.
"What's he doing?!" Goten yelled.
Buu stared in curiosity. The fighters and the Kai shut their eyes when all the wind and light began to become stronger.
"It's unreal..." Kinoko noted.
"It's like the whole world is shaking!" Trunks shouted.
A big bright light flashed as Goku's cry became louder and louder. With one final glow, the wind stopped blowing violently and the golden lights calmed down. The Saiyans and the Kai looked over to Goku and all their eyes were wider than saucers.
Goku's golden super Saiyan hair reached passed his waist. His eyebrows were gone, and unlike the other super Saiyans, his pupils were showing. Electricity surrounded his body, making chills go down everyone's spine.
Hiru gulped, "that should be enough to deal with Buu right?"
The Supreme Kai looked to him. Even he was too shocked to say the least.
Babidi let out a scream of horror upon seeing this new transformation.
Goku smirked, "I'm sorry that took so much longer than the others but I haven't had much occasion to practice this one. This is what I call a Super Saiyan 3."
"That's the most energy he's ever emitted." Piccolo stated.
Kinoko blinked. "Maybe that's not such a good thing." She mumbled quietly.
Buu smiled as if this was nothing to him. He put an arm out and smiled.
"Buu not scared, big hair make you look funny." He teased.
"I'm inclined to agree." Babidi said. "Majin Buu, I think our friend is in need of a hair cut." He laughed.
Goku narrowed his eyes, his fists at his sides. "I'm ready."
"Take him down, Buu!" Babidi ordered.
"Buu!" Majin Buu screamed.
As if in an instant, Goku fazed into sight and kicked Buu right across the face sending him away. Babidi gasped in shock. He appeared behind Majin Buu as the creature soared down, and he kicked him away again easily. As Buu flew away, Goku grabbed him by his antenna and began to hit him as if he were a paddle ball.
"Fight back! Do something!" Babidi ordered.
As the beat down continued the Supreme Kai smiled a bit. "I-I can't believe my eyes."
Hiru nodded in agreement. "Neither can I."
Goten placed his fists on his hips and smiled proudly. "I knew this would happen. My mom said my dad has never lost a fight. Nobody in the world can beat my dad." He declared.
Piccolo shut his eyes, "perhaps."
Everyone looked back to him confusedly except the Supreme Kai.
"Hm?" Goten asked.
"It's true, Goku has proven to be stronger than any of us imagined. But the chances are slim he'll be able to beat Majin Buu alone."
Trunks and Goten smirked. "Well that's why we're here." Trunks said.
"Yeah, there's a lot of us! We can all beat him together right Mr. Piccolo."
"I hope." He responded.
Kinoko bit her lip and looked down at the dirt. 'I hope Gohan's okay...'
At this point, Goku was swinging Majin Buu around in a circle much to the dismay of Babidi. Once he let go, Buu landed between a pile of heavy boulders.
"NO!" Babidi screamed. "What have you done?!"
Buu popped out of the rocks as if nothing had just been done to him. He grinned before the Super Saiyan 3, completely unharmed.
"Not even a scratch." Mirai noted.
He extended his arm and punched Goku in the face. The Super Saiyan 3 smirked back at him since the attack did no damage at all. Buu stared in confusion before he began to laugh. The two began to throw random hooks and blows at each other trying to get as much damage as they could. With one final punch the broke away and smirked at each other.
"Buu have fun playing with you. You strong." Majin Buu said.
"Thanks." Goku began, "so are you."
Goku rushed back at Buu and began to kick him repeatedly in the face sending him back each time.
"Get him dad!" Goten shouted.
"Your dad is a great man and fighter Goten." Piccolo admitted.
The young boy smiled. Trunks watched closely and curiously as Super Saiyan 3 Goku easily continued his assault on Buu.
'He's as strong as my dad. Whoa.' Trunks thought.
Mirai watched carefully when Majin Buu was knocked to the ground again easily by Goku.
"Woo! Goten cheered. "My dad is gonna win!"
Majin Buu recovered quickly and flew back towards Goku. Still, no scratch or anything on his features. He smirked as brought his arms back and shot multiple ki blasts in a familiar way.
"Hey wait! That's my fathers attack!" Mirai shouted.
Goku managed to dodge all the blasts easily but didn't notice when Majin Buu came closer to him. He gasped when Buu finally landed a blow on his face sending him back. Mirai growled angrily and pulled out his sword gaining everyone's attention.
"Mirai, what are you doing?!" Kinoko asked.
He ignored her and transformed into a Super Saiyan while glaring at Majin Buu and Babidi.
The Supreme Kai glared at him. "Calm down Mirai, Goku can still hold his own."
"This isn't about Goku!" Mirai shouted. Goten and Trunks jumped from his tone of voice. "It's about my father!"
He let out a shout and before anyone could stop him he rushed at Buu.
"He's finally snapped." Hiru noted.
Mirai rose up his sword as Buu and Babidi laughed. Without any warning he sent his sword through the pink blob making Buu scream and Babidi back up. Goku gasped once he took notice of this. Much like he did to Frieza many years back, he cut up Buu's entire body.
Babidi's eyes were wide but his pupils were small. "You little brat!" He screamed. "What have you done?!"
The diced parts of Majin Buu fell to the ground in clear view of the others.
Kinoko's face paled at the sight. "Gross..."
It was silent for a moment. Until the pieces began to morph back together.
Goten, Hiru, and Trunks screamed. Mirai, Piccolo and the Kai all tensed up.
"What's that?!" Piccolo yelled.
The Supreme Kai looked back at them. "Buu has the ability to regenerate himself... But he also has the ability to replicate."
"Replicate?!" Kinoko repeated.
"What do you mean by that?!" Hiru shouted.
The Supreme Kai growled, "Prepare for a battle, because now Buu isn't the only one we need to deal with."
Ooo, cliffhanger... what is the Supreme Kai talking about?!
