Thank you for the follows favorites and reviews! I tried to fix some of my retarded language skills in this chapter (AGAIN!)
Disclaimer: NEVA~
I can't take this! Mom always said that teenagers don't have real stress until they have to pay bills. Well, that was a freaking lie. I'm pretty sure that my blood pressure is over nine thousand. (A/N: DBZ reference...) Kaoru told me not to get to over worked up and just give him some time to calm down. He said everything will be fine, but I guess he was wrong too. Because everything isn't fine and I have no idea what to do about it. I'm stuck.
After Mitsukuni left, Kaoru and I tried to keep the drama under wraps. I didn't want anything else to happen. Kaoru did his best to distract Hikaru while I made my way to leave. Thank goodness Haruhi had already left. Speaking of Haruhi; I broke my promise with her. I didn't get any sleep last night and to be honest I look like complete crap. I know Haruhi, otherwise known as my new 'mother', is going to make me tell her exactly whats wrong if I don't fix myself up. However, there isn't much I know about making myself look more, I don't know, alive? I looked like a character from the walking dead.
I sighed pushing that out of my mind. If I can make myself look more presentable, then there will be fewer questions from everyone. I tied up my messy bed-head hair with a rubber-band; after I put on my uniform, I straightened myself up and looked in the mirror once again. I still look horrible, but less so then when I first got up. I tried to push down my bangs because they were sticking up in different direction, but they were fighting against me.
I frowned. "Fine, whatever, be that way. I never liked you anyway." I mumbled while I glared at my hair. Am I going crazy again? No! I don't want to have a conscience again!
Two nights without a wink of sleep and this is what happens.
I shook my head as I picked up my bag and walked out of my room. I glanced down to my sleeping aunt. She was out late again last night. I pulled her fallen blanket back over body. She squirmed and mumbled in her sleep. "Stake...with duck sauce please?" I raised my brow.
"Morning aunty." I whispered, though I knew she wouldn't answer. Or at least I wasn't expecting her to.
"Hm, piglet. Gimme my...stake." She murmured, turning over with her back facing me. I blinked at her with a straight expression; I hadn't heard that name in a long while. She didn't usually call me that even if she was fully awake.
"Right." I whispered, pushing her over so she wouldn't fall on the floor. I glanced over when something caught my eye; there was a pair of black sunglasses on the table. "Hey, aunty?"
"Wha you want?" She asked in a sleepy tone.
"Can I borrow your sunglasses please?"
I she scratched her head with a lazy nodded. "Mmhm."
"Thanks." I said. "I'll see you later." She lazily waved her hand at me. I walked over to the door slipping on my shoes. I picked up my bag once again and unlocked the door. As soon as I was outside I took a deep breath and locked the door again.
I turned around and winced at the light; it was giving me a headache. I was suddenly glad that I brought the sunglasses with me. I took them out and pushed them over my eyes. I turned to the Fujioka residence, waiting for her to come out. I was contemplating with myself whether I should just go to school and deal with her scolding later. Then again, if I did that then she would have been more suspicious and eventually find me. This would become a bigger mess than it already is. She really is like another mom. I guess Tamaki's family scenario wasn't to far of huh?
I jumped when I heard a familiar voice. "Bye dad." Haruhi said as she turned around to me. When she saw my sunglasses she deadpanned."Really Kris?"
"Yep."
"Do I want to know why?"
"...uh...no?"
"I'm going to ask anyway."
"I thought you would."
"Why are you wearing sunglasses?"
"Would you believe I was trying a new look?"
"No, I wouldn't. You don't seem to care much for that. Now tell me what's wrong."
"You caught me. I'm wearing these because...seeing your beautiful face every morning is blinding."
"..."
"..."
"You did not just go 'Tamaki mode' on me?"
"Thought I would try it."
"Don't do it again."
"Alright."
She sighed. "But seriously what's wrong?"
"Its...nothing for you to worry about; I just have a slight headache is all. The light was making it worse so I'm wearing these."
She gave me a skeptical look. "Did you finally get a good nights rest?"
I rolled my eyes behind the tinted frames. "Yes mother I'm fine." Which was a lie, but she didn't have to know that.
"Hey." She said giving me a teasing glare. "I'm just worried alright. I don't want you fainting again. Any sign of illness and you tell me."
"Yes ma'am." I nodded. I really was thankful for these glasses now; I tend to look sick when I don't get enough rest. These were saving me the trouble of explaining to her why I looked like I was dying. "Lets head to school." I said walking toward the stairs. She followed after me.
*Break*
As we walked into the school, I was becoming more and more nervous. Would Mitsukuni talk to me? Maybe I could find him before class and explain to him what happened. I was about to take off my sunglasses considering it was getting hard to see and people were staring. But Haruhi was still here, guess I'll just have to lose her for now. Maybe Rin can help me out; that's only if Tamaki doesn't get in the way first
"Well...I'll see you at club, bye!" I said quickly turning to walk away, but she grabbed me by my hand.
"Hold it Kris" Dang it! I was so close. "Don't you think you should take those off? It must be pretty hard to see in here."
I grave a nervous grin. "Nope I can see just fine." Lair.
She gave me a 'I-know-that-you-know-I-know-your-lying' look. "Take them off." She went to reach for them. I took a step back.
"I'm good." She took a step forward.
"You said it was only a headache right?" She took another step forward.
"Yes." I said slowly. Man, my lies are catching up to me.
"Then why keep those on?"
"..."
"..."
I sighed. "Alright you caught me." She looked at me with a triumphant smile. I slowly reached for my sunglasses then stopped. "Sorry Haruhi."
She raised her brow. "What do you-"
I turned around and broke out into a run. I heard her yelling behind me, but I knew I was faster than her. I skidded around the next corner thinking I was going to make it to the stairs, but I was met with something hard and my body said hello to the floor. For a moment I forgot who I was. I held my head as I looked up.
What hit me a brick wall in the middle of the hallway? I wouldn't be surprised. I blinked when I saw a familiar figure. "O-Oh sorry Mori sempai. I...was in a hurry." He said nothing and his facial expression didn't change. I gulped. Is he still mad at me about kendo? I was about to speak again, but I was suddenly lifted to my feet. "T-Thanks." I went to move my bangs, but realized I was missing my sunglasses. I looked around me on the ground. "Where's my-" I blinked when I saw them in Mori's hand. "Thank you...again. I really am sorry. I wasn't-"
"What happened?"
I looked up at him. "What? I wasn't looking where I was-"
He shook his head. "Not that; with Mitsukuni, what happened?"
I paled a bit. Did he tell him? I mentally kicked my self. Of course he told him, there cousins. But I decided to ask anyway. "Did he tell you?" To my surprise he shook his head. I raised my brow. "...then how did you..." I trailed off.
"There was afternoon training at our dojo. Mitsukuni was supposed to be taking you home, but there he was." He stared at me examining my every move. He noted I suddenly looked guilty. "He was very...off. He asked me if he could be apart of our sparing session. We complied. I asked him what happened with you." He frowned as I stared. " That seemed to trigger something within him. He...he fought with a lot of aggression. I thought it was all very strange. Mitsukuni doesn't usually volunteer to be apart of sparing matches. Unless it is his brother and even then it is Yasuchika who starts it. And its never that brutal."
I stared at him squeezing the strap to my bag. "What...what happened during the sparing match?" I remembered in the some ways back Mitsukuni beat up the special police force without trying.
"Sparing matches." He corrected. "Half of them were hospitalized."
My eyes went wide and my mouth fell open. "W-Wha?"
"Which is why I'm asking you." He paused. "What happened? Mitsukuni doesn't get angry for no reason even if its small. There had to have been something. When I asked about you it was obvious his irritation became worse."
I swallowed hard. "Well...you see. He sort of saw, thinks he saw...Kaoru and I-"
"Takashi~" I knew that voice all to well. We both turned to the laughing blond. He jumped onto the the tall boys back. "Let head to class; we'll be late if we don't hurry." I looked at Mitsukuni, but he didn't even acknowledge that I was here.
That hurt.
"Mitsu-" I started.
"Come Takashi~" He said with a smile. I gave Mori a pleading look. He stared back at me giving the 'this-isn't-over' look. But I didn't want it be over either. I wanted Mitsukuni to talk to me. This was wrong. He wasn't the type to ignore right?
Unless what he saw really hurt him.
I felt a pain in my chest as they left along with guilt. I should have put an end to it before this had a chance to become a problem.
I watched the two walk away as I felt my eyes burn and I walked toward my class as well.
*Break*
I wasn't really paying much attention to what the teacher was saying considering that it was foreign language class and it was English. So I laid my head on my desk trying to ignore Tamaki's intent stare. I knew he wanted me to tell him what was wrong, but I already felt like crying and I didn't feel like breaking down in front of the class. I was suppose to be a manly man...well we'll just pass for a teenage boy. I'm pretty sure I have a C- in my acting category, but no one was paying attention to me so it didn't real matter.
I closed my eyes for a moment only to be hit in the face a moment later. I opened my eyes to Rin; who was laying her head on her desk as well. She was pointing at me. I furrowed my brow. I glanced down to see a piece of paper. She nodded.
I opened up the paper:
'What's wrong with you? You came in late and your not even paying attention.'
I frowned and looked at her. She genuinely looked concerned. I sighed and took out my pencil.
Nothing I'm just tired. I didn't sleep well last night.
She gave me a skeptical look.
'Is there any reason for that?'
I was getting irritated. I just wanted to get through the class that I learned enough about in America. As if there wasn't already enough problems. Now I have to answer everyone questions to? I wrote furiously, passing to her desk.
JUST LEAVE IT ALONE AND STOP! ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
Suddenly the paper hit me in the eye. "Ow!" Everyone turned around looked at me. I blushed with nervous laugh. "H-Hit my knee..."
"Well please be more careful Mr. Carson. So that you don't disturb the class." The teacher said. "We don't need another Tamaki." He muttered.
"Hey!" The blond yelled as the rest of the class laughed. I turned to the girl next to me. She was frowning into her hand.
I felt guilty again. I looked down at the paper in front of me noticing she wrote something else.
GAY JERK!
I don't know whether I want to laugh or be mad that she might have given my eye a paper cut. I wrote something else and tried to pass it back, but she wouldn't take it.
"Pss!" I whispered. She turned to me with a frown. I threw it to her; she stared at it and then looked at me. I put up my hands as if in prayer. "Please." I mouthed.
She blinked at me then rolled her eyes opening as she opened the paper.
Come to the host club today please? I'll tell you there, promise.
She looked back at me; I gave her an expectant look. She nodded. I gave her a thankful smile, despite the pain I was feeling from Mitsukuni ignoring me I know things will get better.
*Break*
This. Is. Horrible.
I'm upset because Rin isn't here yet and I've been lying to everyone else about who knows what and now I've just lied to myself. Coming to club I thought things would get better and maybe, just maybe, Mitsukuni would talk to me.
No, that's not what he did at all.
"Aw Honey sempai, here have a piece of the mango." A girl said.
"Your just so cute today!"
"Yeah so lively!"
He giggled. "I'm just happy that you all came here for me. I love you after all."
The girls blushed at his smile. "Aw Honey semapi~" They hugged him. He complied with nuzzling against them.
They froze when they suddenly felt a chill. "Hey, do you guys feel that?"
"Yeah, it suddenly got cold?" They glanced to the side of the room that seemed to darker than the rest I was sitting in the corner glaring at my tea. Trying to light it on fire with my eyes, but it wasn't working.
"Uh, is he okay?"
"Yeah, he seems kind of mad."
Mitsukuni smile seemed to go stiff, but the girls didn't notice. "It's fine. I though you were here for me?" He pouted.
"We are~" They said. He giggled similar to yesterdays.
"YAY!"
Fake.
I squeezed my tea cup. The other guest shivered from the blizzard I was causing in the corner.
*Break*
The other host members had excused themselves to have a small meeting outside of the clubroom. "Um does anyone know exactly what's going on here?" Tamaki asked. Unknown to them a chestnut haired girl had just stopped right around the corner and quietly listened.
"Well, it looks as though Kris is scaring off our customers and Honey sempai is confessing his love to all his guests." Kyoya said
"Half of it would seem normal, but I don't think Honey sempai has said he loved any of our guests since he's starting going out with Kris." Hikaru said.
Haruhi blinked in surprise. "Really?"
Tamaki nodded in agreement. "None that we've heard unless he said it casually and he hasn't even done that."
"He was really emphasizing it." Haruhi said starting to understand.
"Have they gotten into another argument?" Kyoya asked. Looking at Haruhi.
"I wouldn't know." She scoffed. "She wouldn't tell me anything, but she was wearing these sunglasses this morning and she ran away when I tried to take them off." The girl in hiding thought for a moment. There calling Kris a girl...so that means... It all made perfect since now. She was about to come out of her hiding spot but what use would that be?
Tamaki put a hand to his chin. "Whatever it is, it seems more serious. Honey sempai is act very strange."
They were all silent. Hikaru turned to his brother. He'd been quiet the whole time. Not interject any type of feed back. Now that he looked at him. He looked sad, nervous and guilty.
"Kaoru what's up with you?" They turned to look at the unusually quiet ginger.
"Something bothering you?" Kyoya asked. "Your being strangely quiet."
Kaoru paled and gulped in. "Well...you see..." He trailed off.
"Tell them what happened." They all looked at Mori then back to the anxious looking twin.
"Kaoru you did this?" Haruhi asked What did he do to cause this?
"Well tell us what happened so that we can fix the problem and we'll be happy hosts once again!" Tamaki said.
They all stared at him expectantly. He sighed then spoke. "It was to be over with yesterday. We weren't going to talk about it anymore."
"Kaoru what are you talking about?" Hikaru asked becoming irritated that his twin had kept something from him. Weren't they suppose to tell each other everything. He clenched his fist.
"Well you all remember when we went to Kurizawa?" He asked. They nodded. "And you remember when Arai brought the watermelon?" They nodded again. "And you remember when Kris when to fix the watermelon for us?" They nodded a bit slower this time. "Do you remember how I went missing for a bit?" They nodded.
"Yeah you told me you had to go to the restroom." Hikaru said starting to frown.
"Well I didn't." He said.
Haruhi stared at him then it hit her. "Ah!" She yelled and pointed at him. "That's when you told her didn't you?!"
Kaoru blinked. "Yes. How did you...she told you?"
"I had to wheedle it out of her."
Hiakru seemed frustrated. "I'm confused what did you tell her that was so important and you had to lie to me."
"He confessed." Mori said. They all looked at him and then back to the ginger.
"You what!" Tamaki and Hikaru yelled.
"That was a long time ago." Kyoya said. "You two held that between each other that long?" He said as if to imply something.
"We didn't do anything." He said as if to answer his silent question.
"Then what did you do to cause such a problem?" Haruhi persisted.
"I kissed her." He said. They stared at him in shock. "On the cheek!" He defended.
"Why do it all?" Kyoya asked
"Look yesterday I asked her to give me an answer and she rejected me." He said. "I don't know I just wanted to...it was the last time I was going to bother her."
"If it was on the cheek why did he get so mad?" Haruhi asked.
Kaoru rubbed the back of his neck. "Well from where he was standing it must have looked like I kissed her on her lips."
"Oh." Is all she said.
"Well the question is what are we going to do about it?" Tamaki asked
Suddenly someone walked out from behind them. They jumped in surprise. They looked up to see none other than Rin. "I think I can help."
"Rin?!" They yelled.
Tamaki ran up to her. "You miss understand we weren't calling Kris a girl we were calling her-him a...a..."
"Save it boss." Hikaru said
"She knows." Kaoru sighed.
"You know it's rude to listen in on others conversations." Kyoya said.
She nodded. "Yeah, but I didn't really mean to you know. You guys should find better places to have your secret meetings. There a little open and in front of your door. So people would probably be coming past."
They sweat dropped. "Right."
"How does it feel to know you were crushing on a girl?" Hikaru asked
"I'm relieved." They looked at her in confusion. "Well can you imagine if she said yes and what then? Let her meet my parents and finding out later would have been a bit awkward." She said in a matter a fact tone. Hikaru frown unsatisfied with her answer.
"Well your taking this pretty well." Tamaki said.
"Everything just makes more since now. All her mannerisms and such." She smiled. "Next thing you know Haruhi would be a girl too." She joked with a laugh. She stopped when no one else laughed with her. "A-Are you guys serious right now?"
Haruhi sighed. "Yes."
"Ok, ok" She said a bit more panicked now.
"Why are you freaking out now?" Hikaru asked raising his brow. Rin pointed her finger at the group.
"Are all of you girls?!" Rin yelled. All them paused and just stared at her. "Well it's a reasonable question. There are to many gender confused people here and I heard about how you all dressed like women!"
"I am a man!" Hikaru said. "Do you want me to prove it?"
"N-No thank you!" She squeaked with a blush hiding behind Haruhi.
"I'm sorry that this a little out-of-place, but we would appreciate it if you never spoke of this to anyone." Tamaki said.
Rin nodded. "I would never tell anyone. Kris is a friend after all."
Kyoya gave a strange. "Well we still have to be cautious. After all the two of them are making our club money. And if anything came up, I would know who to come to first, understood?"
Rin paled. "R-Right."
"Kyoya leave her alone." Haruhi said.
"I remember you saying you had a plan?" Mori asked. They all turned to him then back to Rin.
"Oh that right!"Tamaki exclaimed. "And you are very smart!"
She blushed. "I wouldn't say that. I just know what every couple needs." She gave a triumphant smile.
They raised their brows. "What's that?"
*The next day*
Kaoru looked worried as his twin, Haruhi and Rin walked down the third years hallway. Rin's plan was being put into action. He thought what he was about to was needed, but not like this. Then again when else would this have appropriate?
"Are you sure about this?" Haruhi asked, voicing his thoughts.
The girl nodded. "Of course. How else are we going to get the boy to listen to reason? He doesn't want to hear it right? So we make him."
"You do realize your talking about a karate master right?" Hikaru asked. "You can't make him do anything." He still was a bit ticked off that his brother kept something like this from him for so long.
The girl only spared a glance over to the ginger. "That doesn't matter. He's still a boy." The twins stared at her as Haruhi hid a smile. She knew what the girl was implying. They made their way down the hallway to 3-A. The door was open and girls and boys were making their way in and out of the classroom. She stopped the twins before they went to walk in. "Stay here. If he sees one of you he'll know your both here." She turned to Haruhi and nodded.
Haruhi swallowed and walked into the classroom. "Hi Honey sempai." She looked at the boy. She did see a difference from his usual self. His entire happy demeanor seemed strained and unreal.
"Oh hi Haru-chan!" He smiled. "What are you doing here?" He made a quick glance out behind her to see if someone else was standing there. Rin hid quickly. He smiled again when he saw no one was there. For some reason there was disappoint in his eyes she noted. "So what do you need?"
"Well...I was wondering if you want to have lunch with me?" She said. He looked at her and tilted his head.
"Lunch with you?" He said slowly
"Y-Yeah. You seemed a bit down and everyone else is busy so you know. Unless you don't want to." She gave a puppy dog face that would put Tamaki to shame.
"Of course Haru-chan!" He smiled. "Your coming to right Takashi?"
Haruhi gave Mori a look with a nod. "Ah."
"Great I'm starving. Let's have cake what do you say?" He said as he hopped out of his chair
"Sounds good, but not to much." Haruhi said glancing to the door.
"Don't worry I don't get cavities. Because I always brush my teeth..." He suddenly looked sad.
"Honey sempai?" Haruhi called as they made their way toward the door.
"I'm fine!" He giggled, but it immediately stopped when he looked at the ginger twins.
One of them stepped forward. Kaoru. "Honey sempai we need to talk."
He gave a tight smile. "Sorry we're going to lunch. Maybe another time." He went to turn around but Mori stopped him. "Takashi?"
"Go." He said
They all stared at him; he lowered his head and his eyes were out of view. He lifted his head with flowery smile, but this one was scary and gave everyone a chill. "Alright let's go, Kao-chan." Kaoru walked forward as everyone gave him an encouraging nod.
Rin grinned typing something into her phone. "Phase one set." She turned back to Haruhi, Mori and the 'other one'. Yes the 'other one' Because frankly he was a jerk in her book. "Let's go get our maiden."
*Break*
Tamaki looked over at his phone before he got up to begin phase two.
I really do want to cry now. I did last night for quite a while. I was glad that aunty was out late again. I didn't want to go through explain my girl problems. Come to think of it after waiting for Rin to come in she didn't even want to know why I was being the way I was.
I let out a sigh. I wondered when Mitsukuni was going to talk to me again. Probably never. Maybe he realized that I wasn't any good for him and just wants to break up. That put a horrible feeling into my stomach. I really don't want to eat lunch now. I think I'll just stay here.
"Kris~" Tamaki called. Great. "What a wonderful day we're having isn't it?"
I stared at him blankly. "Yeah, wonderful."
He winced at my attitude. "Why don't we head off to the cafeteria and get out of this stuffy room."
I waved him off. "I'm alright; I'll just sit here. I'm not hungry anyway."
"None since!" He yelled lifting me out of my chair. "Let's go to the cafeteria!" I was too tired to fight back; being this was the third day without sleep
I gave a tired glance over to Kyoya. He calmly got up out of his seat. He had a strange look in his eye, like he knew something I didn't.
I shrugged. He usually did.
I was dragged across the school. When they sat me down in a chair they looked as if they were waiting for someone. He brightened when he saw a group of familiar people walking toward me. "Hey Kris." Rin said with a smile. "How's your double life going."
I stared at her before what she said actually kicked in. I looked at everyone in panic, but they weren't which was puzzling to me. "She knows." Kyoya said.
"How?"
She pushed her glasses up. "I'm just that smart you know?"
"She was ease dropping." Hikaru deadpanned.
She glared over at him. "Jerk." She mumbled. "Anyway we're here to help you with your problem."
I shook my head. "Problem?"
"Don't play dumb; we know all about you trying to elope with my brother." Hikaru said.
"E-E-Elope! I what! I would never do that!" I sputtered.
Tamaki smiled. "Wonderful that is exactly what you need to tell Honey sempai."
I frowned. "He won't talk to me."
Rin grinned. "He will after this."
I blinked at her. "What do you mean?"
"We're at phase two right now." Haruhi explained.
"Phase two of what?"
"Operation: save Honey and Kris's relationship!" Tamaki said. "I chose the name."
I stared. "I couldn't tell." I looked around. "Wait, so where is Kaoru if you're all apart of this plan?"
"That's part of phase one." They said
I looked at them. "What?"
"And your part of phase three, if you would listen." Rin said.
I blinked at her.
*Break*
Honey and Kaoru walked in front of the pillars and stopped. He turned around and they stared at each other. "So what did you want to talk about?" He said in forced cheery tone.
Kaoru looked uneasy, but spoke. "Honey sempai I know your upset, angry, irritated and your hiding it behind your smile."
He was quiet a moment before he looked up at the ginger his face was frighteningly serious. "Well what do you want me to do Kao-chan?"
"I just want you to understand that what happened between Kris and I. It's not what you think it was."
"Well if it wasn't what I thought it was than what was it ?" He stared at him with wide eyes. "Because it looked like I saw you and K-chan in the middle of a kiss."
"That's just it! I did kiss her b-but not the kind you think it was. It was on the cheek, honest!" He sighed. " Well maybe I shouldn't have asked at all, but I was just going to leave it after that. It would all be done with."
"What do you mean?" Honey asked
"Well your right I...I do...did like Kris, but that's it, that's all. Nothing happened. What you saw was a misunderstanding. Kris rejected me and I was excepting the fact that we were friends, nothing more, nothing less." Kaoru hoped that this was getting to the blond and Rin's plan was actually working.
"So...what I saw was a rejection?" He said with a childish expression."Are you being for real?" Kaoru was relieved.
"Yes, I wasn't going to do anything. I realized your relationship was special and I'm sorry for coming in between you two." He said. He hoped that this was it and Honey understood.
"Your right." He finally said with a big smile. "She is very, very important to me."
Kaoru stared at the boys face taking in everything that had happened. Then his eyes widened a bit. "Honey sempai could it be that you..."
Honey just smiled. "We should go."
"R-Right." Kaoru nodded then blinked remembering Rin's plan. "To the cafeteria."
"Lunch!" Honey said before to turning back to the twin. "You guys tricked me."
Kaoru laughed nervously. "Right, sorry about that. We knew you weren't going to talk to me so..."
"Well lets go!" He said with a real laugh. "Oh and Kaoru." He said they started to walk. "I forgive you, but don't ever kiss K-chan again. Kay?"
They stared at each other before Kaoru nodded. Honey giggled as he ran on ahead. He sighed. "So I was right. He does."
*Break*
I stared at the group as they hovered over me. "You want me to say something like that in front of the whole cafeteria?"
They nodded. "If all else fails then we still have phase three, meaning you. The host club would look pretty bad if they were acting like jerks in front of everyone. Especially the adorable ones." Rin said. "Who wants to go to a club with people who reject their own 'friends'?"
They stared at her. "What if he does?"
She shrugged. "I'm not sure."
"What do you mean you're not sure?" Hikaru asked.
"I mean exactly that; I'm not them so I don't. I'm just going off of what I know about them and what I think would work." They stared at her.
"Well lets hope for your sake it does." Kyoya said with a smile, Rin backed away with chill.
Suddenly Kaoru and Mitsukuni came into the cafeteria and they looked happy. Everyone sighed in relief. "That means I don't have to do it right?"
"Oh no, your still doing it." Rin said."Everyone played their part; its your turn." She smiled patting my back.
"Good luck~" Everyone said. I gave Haruhi one last pleading look, but she just smiled.
She getting back at me for running away yesterday, isn't she?
I gulped and walked toward Mitsukuni as Kaoru walked past with an encouraging smile. I tried to return it, but I was scared of what I was about to do. "Mitsukuni."
"K-chan."
"I'm sorry." We both said at the same time. I was relieved and surprised at the same time.
"I really am sorry." I said. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
"No I hurt you. I told you not to ignore me, but I was doing to the same thing." He said.
I glanced around people were already starting to stare and I haven't done anything yet. I blushed. "All these sorrying isn't getting us anywhere. We can only move on right?" I said. He smiled in agreement. "So..." I glanced back at the group and gave me the thumbs up. I took a deep breath. " So will you come with me this weekend to the Amusement park...please!" It was louder than I intended it to be which made my blush grow deeper.
"Like a date?" He asked slowly, but I could see his growing excitement.
"Yes." I said trying to push all the other voices out. I heard familiar voices cheering for me. The hosts and Rin.
They will pay for this embarrassment.
The group shivered.
"So...will you?" I looked at him unsure, but was relieved when I saw his flowery aired smile grow wider
And there you go. Please review.
