Chapter Thirty-Five: A Minor Setback
YEAR STAR STAR: MONTH TWINK: DAY 11
"Sorrow is silent. Joy is silent. Confusion… is silent. Every possible emotion you can feel… is silent. Don't lose your light or you will fall… to silence." A voice whispers in the minds of the heroes. "Don't give up to silence… you prevail over silence. Wake up from the silence. Be silent no more. Awaken… Awaken… Awaken… Awa-"
"ACHOO!" Link shouts loudly, waking up immediately from the blast of his sneeze. "Whoa! What happened to us!? We were caught in a trap and…" He takes a look around to find that the other heroes are asleep as well. "Huh." He wonders.
He takes another look at the place they were at, as well. He notices that they were in the same hotel room that they were trapped in, but there was not a trace of said incident happening. The room had a bluish tint to it rather than the orange haze from the light bulbs, and particles of energy floated around.
"…Are you for real!?" The voice whispers. Link wasn't paying attention to it, however, and instead focuses on waking up the heroes. He tries his best to shake them awake, but all he can do is wait for them to wake up.
"…Are you ignoring me, Link?" The voice says again, sounding much more feminine than it used to. Link gives a half-nod to the voice. "Not right now. I gotta wake these guys up." Link states, continuing to focus on waking up his friends. "You're no fun. I wanted to do something fun, y'know! Something like… play with a ball, or even get taken out to dinner again!" The voice says again.
"…Jeez, could you be quiet for even a minute, Fi?" Link groans. "And what do you mean by 'again'? I've never dated you in my life!" Link shouts at the entity named Fi for her ridiculousness. Fi is the spirit of the Master Sword. She resembles a young woman at the age of 17, but has the appearance of a sculpture. Her face is entirely blue, along with her eyes, which are blue and have no pupils. Her arms are covered by a long robe-like structure from her own body. Her legs have stitch patterns like those on the Master Sword's hilt. Her chest has a large, blue diamond embedded in it, but for what purpose, nobody knows. "You almost did. In fact, you had an 80% chance of doing so!" Fi giggles childishly.
Link buries his head into his hand and sighs heavily. "Not the statistics thing again." Link moans. "…Anyway, why'd you leave the Master Sword? I thought you wanted to stay in there so that you didn't have to bother with these other guys." Link asks. Fi hardly leaves the presence of the Master Sword, but when she does, the sword stops glowing, giving Link the note that she is away.
"…What? What are you talking about? I never left the sword! Are you hallucinating, bro? 'cuz there's an 80% chance you are!" Fi replies with her hands on her hips, flying in circles around Link. "I'm not hallucinating… Or at least I wish I'm not." He says worriedly, looking at the particles of energy floating around him. "Take a look at this stuff, Fi. Where'd it come from?"
"That's spirit energy, dummy. I would think that you'd know that, but you're too stupid to know." Fi replies, with her hands on her hips.
Link twirls around and immediately widens his eyes. "SPIRIT ENERGY!?" He yells in concern.
Then, as if done by magic, every one of the other heroes wakes up to the sound of Link's voice. One by one, the heroes wake up, some of them with terrible headaches. "Owww, my head." Lupo moans, even though she has a hardhat on. "Sol… Ab-Absol." Soulola whimpers, trying to wake herself up from her deep slumber. The other heroes wake up, but not in such a way as Jaraberutzu did.
"HONEYYY! I LOVED YOOOOOU!" She yelps in regret, throwing her hands into the floor and breaking it. Geno, who wakes up right after her, puts his hand on her shoulders. "It's alright, Jara. Stop complaining over that girl." He moans.
"Oh, hey! Your little punk friends are waking up! That's nice!" Fi smiles to Link, who looks at her with a disappointed expression. "Don't be mean, Fi. These are some really nice people." He replies angrily. "…What? You work with people who can't even bottle-feed themselves." She snorts, glancing at Adelenn.
Adelenn, amongst all of the other people who woke up first, is the first to notice Fi. "Hey! Link, there's something behind you! I think it's a pixie!" Adelenn points at Fi, who takes extreme offense to being called a pixie. "You little promiscuous minx! Don't call me a pixie! I am 3000% sure I'm not one of those ugly things!" Fi yells at her, shaking her arm furiously.
The other heroes also begin to notice Fi. "…What…?" Geno wonders, looking at Fi. Fi waves at the heroes as requested by Link. "Yo." She shouts. Geno shakes his head in bewilderment when he sees the spirit floating around. "A spirit…? What's a spirit doing in a hotel?"
"Technically speaking, we're not in the hotel you dummies were in anymore." Fi states. "I don't believe that for a second." Mario replies, pointing at the hotel walls. To Mario, it appeared as if almost nothing changed, besides the fact that spirit energy is scattered in the air. "This LOOKS like the hotel. I mean, it didn't feel like anything happened to us." He states. "I have to agree with Mario on this one. This place looks eerily familiar to the hotel we were just in." Jaraberutzu says as well.
"Well, you know what? It isn't. We're in an alternate dimension, my little fudge nuggets. It's not a very nice place." Fi giggles. None of them knew what Fi meant by an alternate dimension. It was so absurd to them that they wanted to continue arguing with her, but instead chose to listen.
"…An alternate dimension?" Patricia asks. "Yup! You landed in a trap that was laid by that bunny girl. Oh, did she get you guys good! I saw that trap from a mile away!" Fi replies, floating around the heroes in a specific pattern. "Please excuse Fi's attitude. She's been like this ever since I pulled out the Master Sword. She's… like a little sister to me." Link says to his friends.
They soon realize who they were talking to within seconds of looking at her. "…THAT'S THE MASTER SWORD!?" The heroes all shout at once. Link smiles and nods his head. "Yep. And she's one of the most powerful spirits of this universe. I'm a pretty lucky guy, if you ask me." He explains. "Fi's cool when you get to know her."
"You're only lucky because you got yourself a hot bod like this for a weapon." Fi says, posing attractively for no apparent reason other than to annoy Link. "Please kill me now." Link whispers weakly to Patricia, but all she does is punch him square in the face for no apparent reason, as well. "You didn't tell me you had a spirit." Patricia growls at Link. "What?! She didn't want me telling people that the Master Sword was possessed by a spirit." Link nervously chuckles, reasoning with Patricia.
"Anyway, Ms. Fi… where are we?" Vivian whispers. "We're in an alternate dimension, like I've said. But, it's nothing like Flipside or Lorule of the Dark World. This place is way scarier than both. If my calculations are correct (which they ALWAYS are), then we should be in the Silent Realm." Fi explains. "I went through this dump with another hero who looks oddly like Mr. Kilts over here. All he did was scream and break every single pot in sight."
"Hey. Breaking pots is cool." Link frowns. "Anyway, in order to get out of here, you have to collect find the Sacred Vessel, which should have all sixteen of its Sacred Tears. I dunno why they're called 'tears', though. It's not like someone made them by crying. Maybe it was just a good j-"
Link silences her by putting his hat over her mouth. "…What she said, minus all of the stupidity." Link grumbles. "I dunno how we got here, but we now know a way out of here, and that's all we need."
"Great, honey. You sure know how to do your thing." Patricia smiles to Link, who smiles back. "He only knows what to do because I tell him to. Unlike you, who lets him figure out everything by himself like he's some poor little dog." Fi snorts.
"Are you saying I'm a bad person for letting Link think for himself?" Patricia growls, ready to strike at any moment. "Yeah! I'd be a way better wife than YOU, at least." Fi sighs, hugging and caressing Link in a way to annoy Patricia. "This is awkward being hugged by my sword." Link sighs.
"YAY! It's time to find the Pixie thingy!" Adelenn squeals, and jumps forward. However, she did not know that she, along with everyone else, was standing upon a large circle similar in appearance to Rosie's barrier spell, which was also magically charged. For what reason, nobody could know.
Until she steps outside of the circle.
Not two feet away from her, a giant statue that was not in the hotel previously has now activated. Its eyes glow a furious red color and the statue takes up its weapon; a club roughly its height. It was about a foot taller than Adelenn, and looked far more ferocious than Adelenn will ever look.
Because it was she who stepped out of the "Siren" barrier, the "Guardian" was attracted to her, and had no other purpose but to kill Adelenn. It takes up its weapon and swings at an unsuspecting Adelenn. "Adelenn, look out!" Lupo says, running towards Adelenn as fast as she could. However, it was too late.
Adelenn already blocked the attack with her finger. "Oh, hiiiii! This guy is taller than me. I'm gonna punch him 'cuz he's mean." Adelenn tells Lupo who was standing right in front of her. Lupo was very confused. 'Wh-when did she move to block that attack!? I didn't even see it coming!' She thinks while looking at the scene with wide eyes.
Adelenn takes her hand and allows her punch to be telegraphed because she doesn't want to punch the Guardian any other way. "This is going to be your booboo for trying to hit a lady!" Adelenn tells the Guardian as she jabs the guardian right in the gut. Her sheer power causes the entire Guardian to explode upon contact, leaving a black, fiery blaze across the fireproof floor.
"…Oops." Adelenn giggles, holding her finger to her lip in a cute, innocent way. "…Who can say no to that face?" Vivian puts her hands out towards Adelenn. "So… why'd that thingy attack me, anyway!?" She asks with a confused look on her face. "It's because you stepped outside the Siren Barrier. They alert the Guardians when you step outside of it and they'll attack you." Fi explains.
"…What?" Adelenn asks, resulting in a heavy sigh from Fi. "Are you stupid or something?! That was the simplest explanation I could've given to you!" She yells at her, which makes Adelenn frown. "Wh-why're you being so meeeeean!? It's not my fault I dunno big words like 'explanation' and 'barrier'!" Adelenn replies.
"…Wow, you really are stupid." Fi groans. "Fi! That's not nice! Apologize!" Link yells at her as if she was a small child. Fi rolls her eyes and complies. "I'm sorry that you're a stupid promiscuous woman." Fi says with an innocent voice. Link buries his face into his hand for a second time and sighs deeply. "…Let's just go find that Spirit Vessel."
The only problem with finding the Spirit Vessel was that they had an entire hotel to look through. One that was five stories tall and about as long and wide as a submarine. Not only that, but there were many of these Guardians around the area. They can't afford being spotted by one of them, or the entire horde would attack the heroes.
The heroes start with the first floor. They enter many of the hotel rooms, only to find that Guardians were everywhere, along with them being active. "…This is strange. After defeating one, or collecting a Sacred Tear, all of the others should be deactivated. This Silent Realm is kind of funny." Fi wonders. The currently active Guardians seemed to pay no attention to the heroes, but they were gathered around something. It was a blue, shiny object in the shape of a tear.
"Yo, Lightweight! You see that, right?" Lupo says, picking up Geno and showing him the Sacred Tear. "I'm not THAT much shorter than you, and yes, I can see it." Geno remarks. "Could've fooled me." She replies back with a giggle. "I'm pretty sure Adelenn could see it."
"OOOOOH, A SHINY BLUE THING!" Adelenn squeals, and dashes for the Sacred Tear. Geno's face loses all emotion after seeing this event pass. As she barges through many tables, chairs and fallen chandeliers, she makes a mad dash for the Sacred Tear, ignoring any Guardians that were chasing her. "Apparently, the stupid idiot who stepped out of the Siren Barrier is the only one who's getting targeted." Fi sighs as she watches the chaos unfold.
Most of the Guardians that attacked her were felled by their own clubs. They deflect off of Adelenn's arms when she flails her arms around carelessly, and hit the Guardians in the face, ultimately destroying them. "…Whoa." Patricia says at once.
"BLUE THING! I WANT THE BLUE THING!" Adelenn smiles without a care in the world and proceeds to pick up the Sacred Tear. When she does, it glows weakly. It was a soft, blue light and it feels pleasant as it touches Adelenn's face. "Hey, guys! Look at this thing! It glows blue and stuff! Maybe it's friendly." She smiles.
Link sighs, but not in an annoyed manner. "That thing's inanimate. I don't think it can be a friend." He says. "R-really? Awwwwwwww." Adelenn frowns, looking at the Sacred Tear with puppy eyes (or eye, in her case). "But it IS important. So why don't you give it to me, Adelenn?" Link asks politely in a way that wouldn't scare Adelenn.
She gives it to him and watches Link give it to Fi. "Oh, the pixie needs it? Okaaay." Adelenn smiles, waving at Fi happily. "Shut up, bimbo." Fi scoffs and looks away from Adelenn. She was confused and didn't understand why Fi was acting this way. "I don't think she likes me, Lupo." Adelenn whispers. Lupo agrees by nodding her head.
When Link hands Fi the Sacred Tear, a reaction happens between the two. Fi and the Sacred Tear begin to glow harmoniously with each other, as if they were part of a heartbeat. The other heroes watch in awe as Fi raises the Sacred Tear and speaks into it.
"…Show me the way." Fi whispers.
Immediately, the Sacred Tear shoots a concentrated beam of blue light. It was so bright that some of the heroes had to look away from it. "The Silent Realm is crazy. I didn't know rock like that even existed!" Patricia states, wearing sunglasses as she observes quietly. "How were you able to tell that the material was rock?" Link says.
Patricia points to the scanner inside of her retina while pulling Link's head closer to her chest. "Lots of minerals. Some unknown. Honey, I thought I told you this." Patricia sighs, but doesn't seem to mind re-teaching her dear Link the basics of geology.
"Whatever it is, we now know where this is going to take us." Fi replies with a smile, looking at the Sacred Tear. The concentrated light fixes itself into a certain direction. It points upward, and to the north. This means that the Sacred Tear was in front of them and on a different floor above them. "Now, what do you saaaay?"
"I was already going to say thanks, Fi." Link mutters. Geno chuckles at this. "That's a pretty lively sword you've got there, Link." He says. "Yep, what a sword that is. Maybe you should tell her to calm down." Mario suggests. 'Is that going to even work?' Vivian thinks to herself.
They continue to walk out of the room harmlessly due to there being no activated Guardians left. As they walk through the halls, they decide to chat. "Well, the Silent Realm isn't as bad as what I thought it was going to be like. It's actually pretty cozy here." Jaraberutzu states. "RAWR." RAWR agrees. "Sol!" So does Soulola.
"That's what most people who come here think." Whispers Fi with a giggle. "However, it's not as simple as it looks. The Silent Realm doesn't just house Guardians and sacred objects from people. It also houses the deceased."
"Mama Mia… So this is like a giant graveyard. Spooky." Mario wonders. The Silent Realm held a much deeper secret than Vivian had anticipated, but nothing like what Fi had explained. "So… if this is a wandering alley for the dead… then…"
"You may or may not find someone you've seen alive in the past. Whether it be a friend, a celebrity, or a foe." Fi explains. "You see, the Silent Realm was not intended to house the dead. But… a few exceptions were made considering that there wasn't much else to place them. If ghosts ran amuck, there would be problems. But it's not like a ghost is going to attack you from n-"
Mid-sentence, Fi is interrupted by the increasingly harsh glow from the Sacred Tear. They were closer to the Sacred Vessel, but did not even reach the second floor. It was as though it were moving on its own. "It's really close. So close it's glowing super-harsh!" Patricia shouts, looking at the Sacred Tear from afar. As each second passes, it glows harsher. "…What's going on?" Mario wonders. "I think something's wrong with the Sacred Tear, Fi. Let's go get a new o-"
"ADELENN KENLASCA BOSKRA!" Roars a mighty voice, rumbling the entire hotel floor, shouting Adelenn's name. As this happens, the ceiling breaks into pieces, crumbling right on top of Adelenn. Following it was a shadowy mass. It wielded a giant sword, and had blood-red wings. Immediately, it attacks Adelenn with the blade.
"Whoa! Super Shadow thing just tried to attack me!" Adelenn squeals, dodging the attack with ease. However, it didn't stop there. The shadowed mass unleashes its wings, and flies towards Adelenn with amazing speed. In response, Adelenn opens up her own wing. "Birdy vs… uh… Bird me?" Adelenn wonders, putting her left index finger on her chin while completely stopping the shadowed mass with her right hand, blade and all.
"…You… killed me. You killed me, the only person who would ever mean ANYTHING to you, Adelenn. I can't believe you! Tagging along with these behemoths. These BUGS!" Says the shadowed mass. Its voice was quite masculine, and quite familiar as well. "…Huh? Who are you? I don't remember killing anyone!" Adelenn wonders, trying to get a better look at the person's face.
However, Geno noticed before anyone else was able to. "Soool…" Soulola whimpers, not liking the familiar presence of their foe. The mana was strong, and thick as well. It was dark, but didn't compare to Adelenn's mana.
It was as if Geno was shattered on the inside, as well. He knew who the opponent was. "…Adelenn… don't. Look. At. His. Face." He whimpers. He couldn't bear to see what would happen if she did. "Why not, Geno? If I can't see his face, then how will I fight him?" She asks, and bends down. "Hey, guy, are you okay? You seem to be ups-"
When she looks at her foe's face, she stopped all movement. The black mass that she saw belonged to a familiar person. So did his wings of blood. His right eye was veiled in darkness, and his left eye was green. He wore a ragged, black T-Shirt, and his sword held a skull on it.
It was Tarin Duce, Adelenn's former husband.
Adelenn couldn't speak. She was so confused that she stopped moving. "…Tarin…? Are you… Tarin?" Adelenn whispers, her head hanging low, as if she were miserable. Tarin laughs maniacally. "YES! It is I, my love! Fate would have not let this happen, but it HAS! I am so glad to see my wife again! Now, I can kill you AND the rest of your friends in this wretched realm. It would be a proper burial for her highness the Demon Queen." He explains.
"As you know, you cannot escape unless you have this Sacred Vessel. HA! As if I would let you have it! In this realm, I have become much stronger than I had been before! I will not lose to the likes of you miserable lowlives! You will all bow before me! All of you will die slowly, and painfully. Be ready for beheadings, all of yo-"
"I'll kill you." Adelenn mutters.
"…What?" Tarin growls at her. He was bewildered that any of them had the right mind to speak back to him.
"…I'll kill you." She mutters again, clenching her fist. "…You will WHAT? Don't talk to me with that tone, woman!" He says, rushing towards Adelenn and giving her a thorough backhand. Ultimately, it did nothing useful. Adelenn looks up, and then back to Tarin. Her Voided Eye was gushing with blood.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" She lets out a blood-curdling scream.
The entire floor began to crack ferociously. Her scream alone was enough to shatter the very floor. Black fire erupted from various parts of her body, including her nostrils and her hair. The magnitude level that she unleashed was unlike any other. Fortunately, the Silent Realm was able to handle it, but it wouldn't be safe for anyone around Adelenn.
The Richter scale would have skyrocketed to "50" if such a scale was possible on Earth.
The other heroes were flustered. If they did not act soon, Adelenn would destroy everything around her. "ADELENN, NO!" Mario shouts aloud, but she doesn't respond. All she does is slowly walk towards Tarin. "I'll erase your existence, whether you're alive or DEAD!" Adelenn growls, shooting black fire from her nostrils.
"…Link! Do something! Anything!" Patricia shouts. Link was unsure what to do. "…Wh-what do I do? Adelenn is on a rampage. She'll really destroy everything if we don't act." Link says. He clicks his feet together, and this changes the color of his tunic from Green to Red. "This isn't going to help much; probably not at all, but it's what I've got."
As Adelenn advanced toward Tarin, he did nothing. He was absolutely terrified. "…Adelenn! Don't! You don't want to do this! Adelenn! DON'T!" He yells. Adelenn does not respond, and looks at him yet again with a death stare. She picks up her right hand, and attempts to decapitate Tarin with a swift chop.
But just in time, Link blocks her attack with his mighty Hylian Shield. His arm took most of the impact, and he is sent flying. He was a bit concerned, however. "…That was an attack at 10%. She's not even trying." He says. He could only imagine what it would be like to get attack by Adelenn's full strength.
Adelenn then notices that she hit Link. Her face immediately softens, and she holds her hand out towards him. "Link…? Why are you protecting him…? He's evil!" Adelenn growls, and tries to move along. Link stands his ground, and does not budge at all. "I can't let you, Adelenn. You're going to destroy everything!" He grunts, keeping his guard up.
"B-but he's a meanie! I want him to go away before he hurts someone." Adelenn tries to reason with him. "Can't let you do that! Are you going to behave?" Link grunts. Adelenn wanted to shake her head. "…I want him gone, Link! Then I'll behave! Like a good girl!" She says, grunting and putting her arms together.
The other heroes were nervous. "Come on, Link… we can't have Adelenn go on a rampage." Geno says, shaking in his cape anxiously. "Link, we're counting on you to stop Adelenn. Don't mess it up." Jaraberutzu smiles. "Ha! Like that's gonna happen. Link may be stupid, but he has some of the best plans in this universe. If he's gonna fight, he's going to fight with all of his brains, brawn and sk-"
The instant she was about to say "skill", Link immediately reaches into his Adventure Pouch. Once he finishes, he takes out a piece of candy. It was large and red, roughly the size of a golf ball. It looked as though it were very chewy.
"…What?" Fi mutters. "WHAT!?" Tarin growls angrily. "What is THAT supposed to do!? Save me!? You probably couldn't even save a bunny if you tried to. You pathetic little-"
"MY FIRST PET WAS A BUNNY! GENO, KICK HIM IN THE FACE!" Link shouts aloud with a big frown, almost as if he was about to cry. Geno proceeds to kick Tarin in the face with extreme force. He had used Geno Boost beforehand, making this attack twice as effective. "…Ow." Tarin whimpers before passing out.
Link then proceeds to rush towards Adelenn, and jam his hand down her throat. She starts to fidget around with Link, but doesn't fight with him. "Hold still, I'm not gonna hurt ya." Link smiles, but his smile goes away once he feels saliva from Adelenn's throat. For some reason, Adelenn lets this happen, as she feels a sort of pleasure from it. Link, who was quite in shock, quickly removes his hand from her mouth.
"H-hey… that taste like a candy thing…" Adelenn says, wobbling back and forth. Her feet weren't steady; it looked like she could fall at any moment. "…Is it… naptime yet? 'Cuz I could really use a… pilloooooow…"
"That is working a LOT faster than I expected." Link says, wiping saliva off of his red tunic. "WHAT DID YOU EVEN DO!? You shoved your hand in that bimbo's mouth, fondled around a bit, and now she's wobbling!" Fi shouts in confusion and anger, hitting Link several times in the head with her open hand. He feels nothing and continues to explain. "You see, Adelenn loves candy. She loves it so much that she'll literally fall asleep eating it. Her metabolism with candy is very awkward, and it causes her to sleep when eating it. At least, that's what Rosalina told me." He states. "So, all I have to do is feed her some candy, and we'll be good."
"Night night." Adelenn yawns before falling asleep.
Which happened to be right on top of Geno. "Of course," he says, trying to escape from Adelenn's deadly grip that she acquired as soon as she touched him. All of the previous tension had been relaxed. There was now nothing to worry about, as everything was settled. "Good thing you had that candy, Link. But…" Patricia says, taking a close look at Link. "Why did you even have candy on you in the first place?"
"I always have candy with me." Link states. Both Patricia and Soulola pull his ear in their sheer disappointment in him. "You fatty." Patricia giggles. "You're one to talk! I see you stuffing cakes in your mouth all the time!" Link mumbles. RAWR agrees and nods his head. "A girl's gotta eat. It's part of what I do." Patricia casually smiles, turns away, and eats a cake while chuckling to herself.
Adelenn was sound asleep. Her snores sound like mere purrs to everyone, which is quite a pleasant sound to everyone else. Tarin was knocked out, so he didn't make any noise. Mario quietly tiptoes towards Tarin after seeing something gleam in his eye. "Hey, what's this?" He wonders, taking a look at the object he found. "Is this…?"
A sash in Tarin's shirt was present. It, for some reason, had Sacred Tears of its own. Fifteen of them, to be precise. The sash had one empty slot for a Sacred Tear. "…The Sacred Vessel? What's this chump doin' with it?" Fi says, hovering over Mario.
The Sacred Vessel was a sash that held Sacred Tears within it. There were sixteen slots for Sacred Tears. When all sixteen are in the vessel, anyone who has it can freely travel to and from the Silent Realm. Without even a single one of them, it is rendered inert.
"Yahoo!" Mario whispers happily. "We got ourselves the Sacred Vessel." He was quite thrilled that he was able to find the Sacred Vessel. "Well, I guess that was just a minor setback." Geno starts to explain. "If only Adelenn didn't start getting all crazy, this would've been quicker." He says, still trying to squirm his way out of Adelenn's death hug.
"…A minor setback, Lightweight?" Lupo scoffs. She didn't believe him for a second. "Adelenn could've killed us all had it not been for Link. Maybe you should thank him." She explains. Geno shrugs and thanks Link for his efforts. "Whoa whoa whoa! Is this bimbo girl really powerful enough to take you all down?" Fi asks in disbelief.
"YES." Everyone shouts simultaneously, and the Pokémon bark in agreement. "That's why we try to keep her uninvolved in battle. She's scary!" Vivian shivers. "Yeah, and I have no choice but to listen to her if she ever gives me a command, and for the stupid reason that she's the Demon Queen!" Jaraberutzu crosses her arms in annoyance. "I would make a better Demon Queen… I'd get all of those handsome Demon boys. Mhmmm!"
"…You guys are crazy." Fi mumbles, taking the Sacred Vessel from Mario. She ignores their craziness in order for her to explain how the Sacred Vessel works. "For this to work, you need all sixteen of the Sacred Tears. It's a good thing we happened to find the one that was missing. Thanks to nobody ever." Fi chuckles. "Gee, you can be such a jerk sometimes." Link growls.
Once she places the last Sacred Tear into the Sacred Vessel, all of the tears begin to glow harmoniously. It made a gentle, peaceful humming sound as it shines brightly. "Now you guys can go back home if you wanna. I mean, I could always use some company every now and then." Fi says. "…Then why don't you come to the Living Realm? You can go in and out whenever you want to!" Link retaliates.
"Oh, well, excuse me. I'll see you punks later, then. Don't die!" Fi replies, happily throwing the active Sacred Vessel towards Mario, who fumbles with it. "W-waah!" Mario says before tripping. "…Mama Mia… thanks."
And without any warning, all of the heroes vanish at once. Fi had already finished the enchantment and sent them on their way back to where they came from. "...Oh… should've mentioned that 'Don't Die' is the way to activate the Sacred Vessel. Oh well, I'm 60% positive they'll figure it out." Fi shrugs, and begins to do… things for pleasure. What kind of pleasure? Probably foot scrubs. She never told me.
"Yo, Narrator." Fi says to- wait! Are you talking to me?
"Yes, I'm talking to you! Get outta the Silent Realm and get outta this story! Please! That fourth wall's gone through enough abuse!" Jee, fine. I'll leave. But I'll be back to write the next ch-
