TB: Okay, that was a good break. Well, back to the Super Hero Time set.
KKD: Ok. *cracks knuckles and neck* Hoo! I'm ready when you are.
TB: Me too. As usual, we kick things off with Melodyger. And hoo boy, after that whammy of an arc, I think it's time to let the aftermath sink in.
KKD: Yea, I know, right? We have had a lot of weight slam down on you guys, so hopefully the weight allowed you guys to come to grips with what happened.
TB: Mikoto's accepted herself as half Akuma, things have returned to normal, and we are also getting very close to the end of this story along with Buccaneer.
KKD: Yea. But what about the Sailor Spirits? Well, we'll go over that later.
TB: That bridge will be crossed, just wait. Anyway, from what I said last time, I said that they'll be facing a returning villain from their movie story.
KKD: Yea. Take a wild guess who that is, guys.
TB: We know who it is, but the best part is that the characters don't know. And we're about to see their reactions and how they will face this enemy.
KKD: Well, get ready then. Where's the disclaimers this time?
TB: I got them. *takes the black screen and puts it on the slingshot before aiming it at the camera* Think fast!
KKD: WHOA! *ducks as it hits the camera*

Buccaneer: So now we got a returning face going up against the Melodygers, huh? What does he got planned?
*With Hyouno flying around, she soon creates flames in the shape of leopards that run straight at the screen, showing scenes of Sailor Spirits*
Red Melody: Erio did take a beating last time; let's hope she's ok after that.
*Treasure keys appears around the next scene, showing off scenes from Kamen Rider Buccaneer*
H-Mako: With Harisento dead, it doesn't seem like his sister has learned to fully let go yet. Come on, I thought you were level headed!
*We then see the Melodygers, Sailor Spirits, and Buccaneer posing for the camera with Red Melody, H-Mako, and Buccaneer standing at the edge of the bow of the galleon*

Previously on Musical Sentai Melodyger…
Mikoto Takimoto was in danger of disappearing along with her Akuma half Takara after rejecting her. However, the Melodygers attempted to rectify this issue by reaching out to Takara, Hinata fighting off D and Contaro in a three way battle. Yukiko recovered to console her granddaughter to do what is right, allowing her to confront her other half. Hinata protected both of them and sacrificed herself to Contaro, inspiring the two to reform into one single being and fight against Contaro, the Melodygers finally putting closure on Mikoto's struggles and ending her nefarious uncle once and for all. And now, proceeding to the next movement…
In the Akuma castle, Ryu paced back and forth while growling to himself as he clenched his fists.
"Cursed Melodygers!" he shouted, punching a pillar so hard that it ended up cracking and crumbling to dust, "Contaro has been defeated and Death Rider has deserted me! They are growing too strong!"
"Ryu-sama, will you please settle down? Our attacks will weaken them with time, I assure you," Mokami responded as she tried to calm down her master.
"These failures are starting to grate on me, Mokami. Is there anyone else useful to us?"
"Perhaps I can provide assistance," the two heard as they turned to see someone in the shadows.
"...You…" Ryu gawked, "How could you have survived?"
Over at Subarashii Records, the Melodygers were helping out their customers during another shift, though it was a calmer day than some others.
"After the shift is over, I think we should just chillax and go to that arcade," Kazu offered to the group.
"Now that sounds like an awesome idea," Jess smiled as she handed an item to the customer.
"I'll check if I'm doing anything with Obaa-chan, then we'll see," Mikoto shrugged.
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind, Mikoto-san," Neiji assured with a smile.
"Kazu-kun and I went to that arcade one time and I whooped him in DDR. I'll do it again, baby," Mayako grinned before they heard the instruments from downstairs.
"We'll have to put that on hold for now. I knew the Akuma weren't going to keep quiet about Contaro's defeat," Saburo sighed.
"We'll save the hanging out for later then. Come on guys," Mikoto responded as they ran out the store.
Later, they ended up inside a parking garage, looking confused before they spotted Ogres knocking down the cars around them with loud roars.
"Looks like the big boys want to play again," Mayako smirked as she cracked her knuckles.
"They're not the only ones," they heard a voice snark before they turned towards the source, and a blur passed them multiple times while slashing them rapidly.
This knocked them all down to the ground before the figure landed, and with a flurry of black feathers raining down to reveal a black and dark green feathered humanoid with a leather vest, large wings, a leather loincloth for battle, spike tipped boots, and a face that Mikoto recognized.
"It's him… Rave!" Mikoto gasped in response.

*A Shakuhachi (Japanese flute) begins to play with some clapping as notes float across the screen, washing away the previous scene before we see the Melodygers, silhouetted before lights from above shine onto each one and they all pose as the instrumental begins and the titles were soon shaped from notes the Melodygers played their instruments*

*We see Mikoto sitting on a chair, looking over her flute before looking towards the camera and waving as the background was replaced with a musical sheet, and Red Melody was shown in front of it, playing her flute before posing for battle*

*Afterwards we see Kazu, playing his saxophone before he looks at the camera and winks with Blue Melody appearing on music sheet background behind Kazu, aiming his Saxozooka*

*We then see Neiji adjusting his drumset with Saburo tuning his guitar before they looked at the camera with a smile and an upward nod of acknowledgment, respectively, and then Green and Yellow Melodies appeared in between them on the music sheet background twirling the Drum Fighting Sticks and holding up the Rocker Axe over the shoulder, also respectively*

*We follow it up by seeing Jess, playing her Keytar happily with Pink Melody appearing behind her on the music sheet background, firing her Iruka Keytar before swinging it like a sword*

*We finish up the roll call with Mayako working the DJ table and giving a smirk to the camera, Gold Melody appearing behind her firing and slashing her DJ MixMaster-ken*

*The three generals of the Akuma no Metal stood there ready to charge into battle with Ryu Chikara pulling out his 9 arm guitar and playing a deadly tune*

Score 38: Quoth the Raven, Nevermore!
"I thought we defeated you before. How did you survive?" Mikoto gawked.
"I thought I was a goner too. But I was lucky enough to only be weakened by the combined power of you six. I was close to death, but I managed to slither away from your sights as you saw the spirits of Jacob and Naomi ascend into the heavens," Rave exposited before clenching his fist, "I'm much stronger than you realize. After all, I am a Bird of Prey after all."
"Bird of Prey, what are you talking about?" Saburo asked in confusion.
"The Birds of Prey are a clan within the Akuma no Metal that are some of the strongest of our own kind, considering our particular forms grant us a greater strength with our song that links us unlike any other Akuma before. Kujagora, Contaro… and myself included. And with recent knowledge that have become known to me… you are a Bird of Prey too, aren't you Takimoto Mikoto?"
Mikoto gasped in response to this, recalling her Akuma half, Takara.
"So what if she is? Mikoto-san made it clear that she wants no part of your clan or the Akuma!" Neiji shouted.
"You don't seem to get it. Unlike small factions within a group, a clan isn't something you can just say no to. Being a Bird of Prey, like most clans, is something you're born into, and it's always a part of your being, even if you attempt to foolishly betray your own kind just like Kujagora did. I never did like Contaro the old fool, but I respected his skills. And you, Takimoto… I will have vengeance for you ruining my ambitions," Rave declared as he pulled out two spiked blades and twirled them.
"Not if we have anything to say about it. Let's go, guys!" Mikoto shouted, plugging in their Tuners and DJ Phone before posing.
"Melody Change!" the six shouted before transforming and revealing their weapons.
They then rushed towards the Akuma and began to slash and blast their way through the Ogres. Gold blasted at Ogres with her KenJu before turning it to sword mode and slashed away at the big bruisers, even kicking some into nearby cars. With Blue, he was firing his Saxozooka all around to make the Ogres stumble back before bazooka whipping the grunts around until Rave came flying in and slashed at him with his forked blades.
"Whoa!" Blue gawked, bringing out his Blues Spear to block it, Rave grinning as he spun to look like a buzzsaw tornado, knocking Blue back.
"Kazu-kun!" Pink gasped before jumping towards Rave with her Keytar Cleaver.
Pink roared, slamming her Keytar onto him, but the raven grinned some more as he started clashing with the Pink Melodyger, soon putting his blades together to form a longer triangular shield.
"He's gotten stronger since last time," Yellow admitted, grunting as he revealed his Rocker Axe to try and get closer, only for Rave to throw his shield at him, sending the Yellow Senshi to the ground before it returned to his arms.
"Is that all you've got?" Rave smirked as he split the shield up back to his blades again.
"We're just getting warmed up! Neiji!" Red shouted as she and Green reeled back and jumped forward, taking on Rave two against one.
Rave just scoffed, deflecting the incoming slashes with little effort, Green spinning with his Beat Sticks in hand and swinging at every weak spot he could see, but Rave just kicked him back into a car. This left him and Red to fight against each other, Rave seeming to get faster against the leader.
"You may have grown stronger since last time, but so have I!" Rave smirked as he shoved Red off, "I'd like to fight you as an Akuma. Come on, from one Bird of Prey to another, show me your power!"
"Leave her alone! She went through enough!" Green shouted, tossing the Folk Hammer at Rave as a distraction, leaving him open for Red to slash at him before the other Melodygers jumped in to try and attack back.
Rave just glared at the Melodygers before he disappeared in a veil of black feathers, confusing the six before he reappeared behind them, unleashing a powerful slash that knocked all of them down to the floor. He then placed them together and played a guitar solo before reeling the shield back.
"Saishuuma Gakushou… Akuma FINISH!" Rave shouted, tossing the shield like a buzzsaw, hitting all the Melodygers multiple times before they all fell back, out of uniform and on the ground, bruised and bloodied.
"He really is too strong…" Mayako grunted.
"He must've gotten one hell of a power boost," Kazu added.
Rave smirked, turning to Mikoto, who was the only one even on her knees, let alone her feet.
"Alright, enough games, Takimoto. Let's see your true power as a Bird of Prey!" Rave shouted, about to slash down at Mikoto and end her life.
"Mikoto-san!" Neiji shouted.
Mikoto growled before roaring out, a bright aura blinding both Rave and her fellow Melodygers before a burst of feathers blasted around, revealing to them Takara now standing in Mikoto's place, grasping the raven's weapon before pushing him back.
"Okay, Rave. You wanted me to turn? Here I am…" she growled as she dug her hand into the ground, pulling out the Houou-Ken.
"Excellent!" Rave smiled widely, "I've been dying to test out your full potential! Now cut loose and fight me!"
The two yelled as they clashed blades, flying all over the garage and eventually outside.
"Come on, let's catch up!" Kazu shouted as the team rushed after to watch the battle.
Outside, Takara and Rave continued to dash at each other, disappearing and reappearing while clashing rapidly, Takara growling with fury as Rave was getting excited. The other five Melodygers ran out and managed to find the two before the Akuma skidded away from each other on the street.
"It feels good doesn't it? That sort of power… the adrenaline rushing through your veins, the wind in your feathers," Rave chuckled, "This is how the fight between us should be!"
"This feels… weird," Takara muttered to herself as Rave flew towards her with the swords in hand.
This forced her to block with the Houou-Ken, which began to glow a bright fiery aura as she began to spin it around and send him back some more.
"Look at her go!" Jess gawked as the two Akuma continued brawling.
"This doesn't feel right," Neiji noted, clearly on edge as Takara looked at her hands, feeling a strange ringing in the back of her head and her vision almost blurry.
'This feels almost addicting somehow… I don't like it,' Takara thought to herself.
"What's wrong? Is the power too much for you? Can't handle the new levels of being a Bird of Prey!?" Rave taunted, slashing at her multiple times.
This caused her to growl before let out an ear piercing hawk screech, feathers flying as she began to increase in speed and slash at Rave multiple times.
"Uh oh, she's starting to lose it in that form!" Kazu realized.
"Yes, finish me!" Rave shouted excitedly as Takara reeled her blade back, ready to end the fight.
"Mikoto-san, stop!" Neiji shouted, Takara swinging and about to hit Rave.
However, a huge clang was heard, making them turn to see D of all people blocking the Houou-Ken.
"D!?" the six Melodygers gawked.
"D-sama, what are you doing? I-I thought you left…" Rave gasped, D just kicking the Bird of Prey away before pushing Takara back.
"Are you sure you should be fighting like this Takimoto? Even though you've accepted who you are, you are not yet familiar with this side of yourself! And you're falling for whatever traps and taunts are set your way!" D shouted.
"What's it matter to you, huh?!" Mayako snapped.
"I know you are stronger than this!"
With that, D slashed at Takara multiple times, making her scream before he kicked her into a wall, forcing her to revert to Mikoto.
"Mikoto-san/Mikoto/Miko-chan!" the five Melodygers gasped, running over to their friend to help her up.
"I don't want to fight you as a Bird of Prey… I simply wish to fight you as Takimoto Mikoto, Red Melody, to honor the memory of your mother," D informed before he walked away and disappeared.
"Come on, let's get you out of here," Neiji insisted as the others got Mikoto out of the parking lot.
"I'm not finished with you all yet!" Rave screeched as he tried to fly after them, only to find them gone, growling in frustration.
Mikoto shot up awake in the base, breathing heavily as she tried to calm down.
"Oh, you're awake. Sweet," Kami smiled as the others saw her.
"You okay, Mikoto-san?" Kazu checked as Mikoto herself looked uncertain.
"I don't know. When I was an Akuma, everything seemed like a blur… I couldn't focus right," Mikoto confessed.
"Yeah, it was really crazy out there," Mayako added as the leader looked worried.
"You don't look alright, Mikoto-san," Neiji noted.
"I… I just need to be home for now," Mikoto sighed as she got up and walked away.
"Give her some time alone, she'll come back soon," Kami insisted.
The others sighed in response, concerned for the well being of their leader and friend.
Mikoto soon found herself at home and managed to get in her room before her grandma noticed her. She sat at the end of her bed, running her fingers through her hair as she tried to gather her thoughts.
'I thought everything would be fine after I've accepted who I am, that I would be able to transform into an Akuma without any worries when things get really tough,' Mikoto thought as she grew increasingly worried, ruffling her hair, 'But when I became Takara, I felt so… so… strong. It felt…'
"It's intoxicating, isn't it," she heard a voice in her head, making her look up to see Takara in the mirror in place of her reflection, "It was only a matter of time before you used my power."
"Takara? Wh-Why are you talking to me?"
"I'm a part of you. I always know what you're thinking, Mikoto. You're holding back your true potential. You accepted who we are, so why not use my power against those who wronged us?"
"Look, I thought I could use your power against Rave, but… I'm scared of using your power. It feels wrong to use it against the Akuma! I-It felt like I fell into Rave's ploy," Mikoto groaned.
"You're afraid of losing control, aren't you?" Takara figured in an almost mocking tone, "Are you going to reject me again?"
"*sighs* You know I can't do that. It's too easy to just ignore the problem."
"So you're thinking and talking to yourself. You must be really worried if that's happening."
"I would say you have no idea, but you're me… so you do have an idea."
"If you're afraid of losing control so much, why not use my power in a way that doesn't worry you?" Takara asked.
"I wish it were that easy but I've only recently learned of you. I don't know how to tap into your power without it making me go potentially crazy," Mikoto responded.
"Tch, you're the leader of the Melodygers. I'm sure you'll figure it out. Besides, your friends are just as worried about this as you… I think you should go back to them."
With that said, the reflection turned back into Mikoto's own, making her sigh again as she put her hair back down and she thought for a moment.
"Mikoto, I made your lunch!" she heard her grandma call out, allowing her out of her stupor.
"Thank you, I'm going to bring it to work!" Mikoto smiled as she got up and walked out of her room.
Meanwhile, in a secluded area of the bamboo forest, D was sharpening his blade on some stalks. He heard some rustling all around, looking around before he noticed leaves beginning to fall. Suddenly, D lifted his blade, and almost like a quick draw, blocked the spiked swords of Rave.
"Sashiburi da na (It's been a long time), D-sama!" Rave grinned.
"Rave… what business do you have with me?" D scoffed, clearly not in the mood as he shoved Rave off and they continued clashing.
"Just wanted to know why you deserted Ryu-sama. You just up and abandoned the cause because one of my clan did things you didn't like?"
D growled before they continued clashing blades with each other, slicing the bamboo stalks in their way before they continued to fight.
"Tch. You would not understand my intentions even if I'd explain," D growled as he threw a kick at Rave.
"I'm a Bird of Prey, same as Kujagora. You should learn to respect me!" Rave shouted, slashing at D some more, causing multiple leaves to fall down as they continued fighting.
"My priorities lie elsewhere now. I will not sully my code of honor if it means allying myself with those who trample it!"
With that, D threw some good slashes at Rave before sending him flying further and tumbling back.
"You certainly have grown stronger, but you are not out of this yet. We'll see where that code of yours gets you," Rave scoffed before he disappeared.
D just growled as he sat down and let out a breath, smoke coming out of his mouth while he sharpened his sword.
Back at the base, Mikoto returned to the base after having finished her lunch, thinking of an idea along with everyone else.
"There is a lot to consider here," Kami noted as he stroked his chin.
"Would the Metal Raven be available?" Mikoto asked.
"That's up in the air at this point."
"Think about it, how did you beat Rave last time?" Neiji checked to make sure.
Mikoto thought for a moment before she remembered something.
"Do you still have the Hyper Tuner on you, Kami?" Mikoto checked.
"Oh yes, the one that gave you the wings against Rave before!" Kami recalled as he went over to a table, pushing some stuff aside before pulling out the bright red Tuner, "Here it is!"
"Great!" she smiled.
"Now all we have to do is just upgrade it so that maybe it'll help me channel my Akuma powers into this form!"
"Great idea!" Jess grinned widely, clapping her hands and jumping in excitement.
"It's going to take awhile, but I'm sure we can make it work," Kami shrugged before the instruments suddenly went crazy again, "You think you five can fight off the Akuma while Mikoto helps me?"
"Of course we can," Saburo nodded as they got up and ran out.
"So, what are we going to do?" Mikoto checked as Kami thought for a moment.
The Melodygers soon arrived out at an open forest as they saw Rave getting his group of Imps and Ogres ready, the raven grinning at the arrival of the five Melodygers.
"I see the musicians, but where's the conductor?" Rave inquired as the team just glared at him.
"That's none of your damn business!" Kazu snapped as he flapped his suit jacket back before getting in a fighting stance.
"We beat you before, and we can do it again!" Mayako smirked.
"Warm them up, yaro-domo!" Rave commanded, the Imps and Ogres running towards the five Melodygers.
The five scattered as soon as the Imps and Ogres got closer, Mayako starting by smacking away any grunts surrounding her before getting on the ground and spin kicked ala breakdancing, knocking everyone away. Kazu was throwing some punches at the Imps, sending them into each other while throwing some kicks to incoming Ogres to push them back, even sweep kicking them off their feet. Jess flipped around, hitting Imps in their faces and even jumping off their shoulders to get lift against the Ogres. Saburo spun with his arms out, doing a double lariat and knocking down several grunts before Neiji ran in and bashed two Ogre heads together. The battle raged with Rave watching gleefully.
"You want me to awaken my Akuma form?!" Mikoto asked, surprised by Kami's request.
"It's the best way to help channel that power into the Hyper Tuner," he explained as he held the Hyper Tuner in his hand, "I know you've been scared of the power ever since you first transformed and accepted it as part of you. But trust me when I say that you will not lose control. I am here with you…"
Mikoto inhaled and let out a breath, clearly nervous before she looked at Kami's assuring look.
"You're right," Mikoto nodded as she held up her hand, was engulfed in feathers, and then came out in Takara's form, "Here it goes."
Kami handed the Tuner to Takara, the Akuma half of Red Melody focusing on it and closing her eyes. It started to glow a bright red.
"That's it, keep going…" Kami encouraged as Takara growled while channeling her energy in the Tuner.
"How much should be placed in here?"
"Just enough, keep going!"
Rave screeched as he flew in, dive bombing the Melodygers and slashing at them multiple times to make them fall down.
"Kuso… c'mon, we gotta get back up!" Kazu hollered out as everyone pulled out their change equipment.
"Melody Change!" the five shouted, quickly transforming as they rushed at Rave with their weapons.
The Akuma blocked their attacks with his blades, spinning to keep them away from him. Yellow jumped in with his Rocker Axe first, trying to slash at his body, but he just blocked them before Rave slashed at him and knocked him to the ground. Green then threw a jumping side kick along with swinging his Beat Sticks, only to get backhanded and slashed from behind. Pink screamed before using her Keytar Cleaver to score some hits on Rave, but it just tore some feathers as he spun around and used the spikes to pull her down to the ground and perform a jumping stomp on her. Blue then fired his Saxozooka at Rave's chest, pushing him back and making him skid across the ground.
"Direct hit!" he smirked under his helmet before firing again, but Rave jumped up and flew in the air.
Blue quickly fired again and again, but he kept missing as Rave dove down about to hit him. However, Gold stood in front and used her KenJu in sword mode to block the attack, grunting as she tried to push Rave back, only for him to slash both her and Blue further, sending them rolling on the ground.
"You fools are nothing compared to the power of a Bird of Prey!" Rave scoffed, "You should've just waited for Red Melody! She would put up a better fight then any of you!"
"Yakamashi (Shut the hell up)!" Blue snapped in rage, "We can hold our own against someone like you!"
"We'll continue to fight you until Mikoto-san comes back!" Green added as he stood up with Beat Sticks still in hand.
"She isn't the only conductor in the orchestra… we all have an opportunity to shine brightly under the spotlight!" Pink informed.
"That's right… we all are able to rise proudly and perform our own solos! Not just us… but everyone in the world!" Yellow added.
"We won't let someone like you take that away from humanity!" Gold shouted.
"Enough of this nonsense!" Rave snapped, about to unleash energy slashes at them.
Suddenly, a red blur rushed in and got his attention, Red Melody hitting him with the Flute Slasher while jumping and spinning over him, landing in front of her teammates.
"Mikoto-san!" Green gasped in relief.
"Sorry to keep you guys waiting," Red apologized as she posed ready.
"No trouble at all… we handled worse ass kickings," Blue assured.
"You finished things with Kami?" Yellow checked.
"Yeah, and I think you'll like the results," Red confirmed as she pulled out the Hyper Tuner.
Red then inserted the bright red Tuner into her Changer, causing it to emit a large red energy ring around her. While she posed, her musical notes and bars surrounded her, but they were accompanied by golden notes as well as a red Dotai vest with gold trimmings and accents appearing. With a spread of her arms, multiple red feathers formed from her back, becoming wings. Her appearance before the others surprised the Melodygers as she soared up into the sky. She then grabbed the Orchestra Hiyoshidai and gripped it tightly, red energy emitting in it before she raised it in the air. With a shout, she tossed it in the air as the Hiyoshidai somehow split into five copies and landed on the Changers of the five Melodygers. They all glowed before gaining the Dotai vests and forms as Red descended back down to the ground.
"WHOA~! SUGO~I!" Pink and Gold gawked in amazement.
"This is incredible!" Yellow added, looking at himself and his teammates.
"Awesome!" Blue grinned while grabbing his coattail.
"We all have the Dotai power at the same time!" Green realized in astoundment.
"Thanks to the power of my Hyper Tuner, we all are capable of achieving our highest potential. Why take turns when we can all have it at once?" Red grinned.
"Kisamara!" Rave roared, more Imps and Ogres being summoned via rage.
"The Classical Musician… Red Melody!" Red declared as she held her hands up like a conductor, twirled like a ballerina, and then posed with her arms and wings out.
"The Jazz Musician… Blue Melody!" Blue announced as he flapped his coattail back and gave a very casual point with a relaxed wrist ala Michael Jackson.
"The Percussion Musician… Green Melody!" Green shouted as he swung his arms like he was hitting huge taiko drums around him before spreading his legs and stomping like a sumo wrestler.
"The Rock Musician... Yellow Melody!" Yellow roared as he acted like he was shredding a guitar solo, swinging his right arm in a circle before jumping and landing on his knees.
"The Synth Musician… Pink Melody!" Pink hollered as she spun around and then posed on her tiptoes while acting like she was playing a keyboard.
"The Techno Musician… Goooooold… MELODY!" Gold screamed as she started spinning on the floor on her back, legs spinning 360 degrees before slowing down, laying down while pointing.
"Our music will reach out to everyone in the world!" the six declared.
"Musical Sentai!" Red started with her hand raised up.
"MELODYGER!" the six shouted as they posed in a line with Red, Green, and Blue to the left and Yellow, Pink, and Gold to the right, a massive explosion of color occurring behind them.
"Slaughter them all!" Rave snapped as the Imps and Ogres charged along with him.
"We are here to bring a score of peace… from the top!" Red declared with her finger to the sky.

The Melodygers rushed in and spread out. Pink pulled out her Dotai Rod and attached it to her Keytar Cleaver to make it double edged, swinging and slashing at the Ogres wildly, managing to get more than usual knocked out of her way. Over to Gold, she used her KenJu in sword mode and the extendable Dotai Rod to slash at any Imps trying to get her. For the Ogres, the Rod she wielded stretched out with the T-Rex head roaring loudly before it chomped on the noses of the Ogres. With Yellow, he swung his Rocker Axe before turning it over using his Dotai Rod to turn it into the Rocker Katar. He swung the weapon around, even using the axe part as the blunt before slashing at the knees of several Imps. Blue was blasting with his Saxozooka before inserting the Dotai Rod on the top of the blaster, giving it the scope. He aimed carefully and managed to headshot multiple Imps and Ogres before charging one more at a bigger Ogre before firing the big energy ball dead center in the chest, sending him sprawling to the ground.
Red flew towards Rave, inserting the Dotai Rod into the open Flute Slasher before closing it. She then slammed her fist into the ground, digging a bit while flying at and dragging Imps and Ogres before ascending a bit with the Houou-Ken in hand, clashing two blades against two blades with the Bird of Prey. Rave smirked as the two swung left and right, continuing to fly across the sky above the fight while swinging swords at each other. Red roared to pump herself up, scoring more hits on Rave than he was with her, feathers and sparks flying before she swung both swords down, sending him crashing to the ground.
"This power… surpasses the Akuma? How is this possible?" Rave gawked as he struggled to stand back up.
"This form was used before to keep up with you in the sky. Now… Now I put some of my Akuma power in it to give it a little more 'umph'!" Red informed, slashing some more at Rave with the Flute Slasher stretching from a good distance before it wrapped around the Bird of Prey.
Red roared as she yanked on the Flute Slasher's handle, bringing Rave closer to her before stabbing him with the Houou-Ken and slashing upward to add more damage. The other Melodygers soon joined with her, having already dealt with the Imps and Ogres.
"Ready for the grand finale?" Blue checked as he and the other Melodygers prepared their instrument weapons.
"Sound check!" Gold called out as they turned them to instrument modes.
"Everyone ready!" Red declared while tapping her boot with the Flute Slasher.
With that, all the Melodygers began to play their instruments in unison, preparing a symphony as an orchestra seemed to accompany the sound they let out. This made Rave scream out in pain as he was trying to cover his ears before the weapons started glowing, the six preparing for the final blow.
"Saishuu Gakushou… MELODY FINISH!" the Melodygers shouted in unison before firing/slashing their weapons and unleashing a huge collection of energy his way, hitting him all at once causing a huge explosion.
"Good riddance…" Red sighed as the team lowered their weapons.
"I don't think he's done yet. Look," Pink pointed out, revealing Rave to be standing in the smoke.
"I will beat you… for the Birds of Prey, and the Akuma no Metal… I WILL DEFEAT YOU ALL!" Rave roared, playing a wild solo on his own guitar that disoriented the Melodygers before he grew to giant size.
-Melodygers, come in!- they heard Kami call from their Changers.
"Kami? What is it?" Red checked.
-I finally got Metal Raven up and running, as well as on our side. You can use it to fight Rave!-
"Awesome! Let's do it!" Gold smirked as Red nodded and they all raised their arms.
With a screeching, Rave turned to see the Metal Raven flying in his direction before screeching a loud metal riff at him, causing the Akuma to groan in pain and cover its ears. Blues Hyou and Country Osuushi then ran side by side below the Metal Raven before colliding with Rave and knocking him down.
"Musical Gattai!" the six shouted as Metal Raven twisted and shifted to form the torso and legs, Blues Hyou and Country Osuushi morphing and forming the arms, "MetalDai-Oh! On Stage!"
The new mecha posed proudly before marching towards Rave and beginning to attack. Rave revealed his swords and began to slash back, but the mech blocked them with the arms before punching with the Osuushi arm, the horns providing some good damage.
"Now this is a lot of power!" Blue gawked as the mecha continued to swing its fists and attack with the arm weapons.
MetalDai-Oh then aimed the Blues Hyou arm at Rave and fired a large beam at him. Rave growled, holding his blades up to push back against the blast, not noticing them begin to crack. After a few seconds however, the blades shattered and the blast pushed Rave back further, making the Akuma tumble on the ground.
"Time for the grand finale!" Red declared as she tapped her Flute Slasher on the podium.
With that, MetalDaiOh began to rock out as if shredding on air guitar before running.
"MetalDai-Oh! METAL RENDAN (BARRAGE)!" the six shouted as the mecha rushed in and used Blues Hyou to fire multiple blasts and punch rapidly with the Osuushi arm, both the blasts and horns doing massive damage to the Akuma who screamed and writhed in pain.
He then fell over and exploded in defeat as MetalDai-Oh posed.
"Your ninth symphony has arrived!" the Melodygers declared with a thumbs up to thumbs down.
The six Melodygers soon returned to Subarashii Records satisfied with another victory as they enjoyed a drink together.
"Glad we managed to beat Rave for real this time," Mayako sighed with relief, downing her soda, "But it does make you wonder if there are more of these… Birds of Prey with the Akuma aside from the ones we've fought."
"Who or whatever they are, we'll kick their asses all the same," Kazu smirked as he cracked his knuckles and took a sip of his soda.
"How about all of us fighting super powered? That was awesome!" Jess cheered in excitement while jumping with joy, "How did Miko-chan ever figure out how to do that?!"
"I think I just willed it to happen," Mikoto guessed as Neiji wrapped his arm around her.
"Well I'm just glad that we're all okay," he smiled as he soon hugged Mikoto.
Everyone continued to enjoy their drinks and laugh with each other.

*As the song began, we see the place is grey and lonely as our focus goes from the ground and scrolls up to see Mikoto*

*Mayako then ran up to the group and smiled at Mikoto. She looks at all of her new friends, who all smile at her and even give her a thumbs up*

*With that, Mikoto gives a smile and they all soon run off*

*They look to see the Akuma no Metal in the midst of invading their town*

*Ryu Chikara was seen standing atop his mountain on a throne while the three generals stand ready with an army of grunts*

*The six turned to see Ongeku no Kami appear and give them a nod, allowing them to plug their Tuners into their Changers and DJ Phone into DJ Changer*

*As the instrumental ends, we see them change into Melodygers before charging into battle, taking out the imps and kaijin with Melody-Oh and MixMaster-Bat on standby*

TB: Whew, this was a tough one to be honest. But hey, we managed.
KKD: Yea, thank goodness.
TB: How do you think this chapter turned out?
KKD: Pretty well executed. I think it's one of the better chapters we churned out.
TB: It works as a follow up to our movie story as well as showing the aftermath of Mikoto getting used to being half Akuma.
KKD: Yea, totally. You guys probably thought Rave was dead, but nope.
TB: But he dead for reals now. Favorite part?
KKD: The battle at the end for sure with Mikoto using the Hyper Tuner to max out her power as well as give everyone else a Dotai of their own.
TB: That was my favorite part too. Didn't wanna take the 'Red Senshi always takes the spotlight' route some Sentai seasons do, so EVERYONE gets a super mode now!
KKD: Awesome.
TB: Yep. We're gonna take a break from the bigger story for now. We'll bring some filler and then Melodyger vs. Super Sentai before we go back into form.
KKD: That should give us enough time to rest up for the big event.
TB: For now though, we go to Sailor Spirits and something that I've been looking forward to.
KKD: This should be exciting.
