I am not afraid - chapter 36
Daisy shivered next to Blane a a she clutched her stomach in the damp cell. The cell was bare apart from a high up open window that blew in icy gusts of wind, Blane and Daisy were huddled together in the furthest corner from it as Daisy cried and Blane tried to comfort her, but felt like his world had been torn in two. Suddenly the cell door was thrown open and a guard walked in made sure they were still there then chucked some clothes on the floor
"Get dressed we are transporting you in an hour be ready, someone might bring food." The guard ordered and then left.
Cautiously Blane crawled over to the pile of clothes and pulled them back over to Daisy. There was a black t-shirt, black boots and a bright orange jump suit for Blane, a blank tank top, a orange jump suit and boots for Daisy also.
"Where are they taking us?" Daisy asked her voice quivering as she took her clothes.
"I don't know Dais, but I don't think it will be good. Are you ok?" Blane said he didn't want to have to lie to her, but he couldn't say it would be fine as he wasn't sure if it would be.
"Better than I was before, I think she is ok." Daisy told him while putting the orange jump suit on. "I don't think this will do up." She moaned as the buttons wouldn't go up around her stomach.
"It will be fine," Blane told her hugging her from behind and whispering in her ear "you still look good in it."
Oscar, Dan and Zero were all sat in Oscar's car in the driveway of Daisy and Blane's house waiting for the Millers to return from London. Dan was in the back.
"Here they are." Oscar stated as a posh car drove up, three people came out and went into the house. Oscar jumped out of the car closely followed by Zero and Dan, the three followed them in.
(Mr Miller's POV)
I looked at the trashed living room in front of me, I was sick with worry when I saw the blood on the floor and smashed plant pot. Hari ran over to me barking madly bearing her teeth. I quickly stepped back frightened of the dog. A voice spoke in a foreign language behind me, i spun around thinking it was an intruder. Three teenagers were stood in the broken doorway: one was a girl with white hair and pale skin scowling at us, next to her was a tall boy with blonde hair who was the one who spoke, beside him was another blonde boy, but he was on crutches and his left leg was in a green cast. I realised these teenagers couldn't be the intruders as Hari raced up to them to greet them happily wagging her tail has the middle boy rubbed her fur and let her lick his hands.
"Who are you." I ask curiously taking a step towards them.
"I am Blane's brother, Oscar " the middle one said "this is his half brother Dan, and his step sister Zero." Oscar told me pointing to the boy and girl.
"We came to tell you why Blane and Daisy's house is trashed and why they are missing." Dan informed stroking Hari also.
"You might want to sit down first though, we shall go through into the kitchen where we will explain." Oscar said walking through into the kitchen followed by the other two. We follow and we all sit down at the table.
"Right so start talking, where is my sister." Abby snapped while chewing gum. The three of them glanced at each other.
"We don't know, we are working on it though. I presume you know Blane and Daisy are involved in something to do with the government." Dan said uncertainly. I nodded. "Well the enemy organisation that they and us are fighting might have kinda sorta well..." Dan trailed of looking at the table.
"Captured Blane and Daisy." Zero cut in with little emotion in her voice staring directly at me. "We have been sent here to first inform you then investigate the crime scene. Sooner the finish the sooner I can go home." She said flatly looking bored.
"Do you actually care about Blane and Daisy?" I asked annoyed with her. Her face went one of pure rage.
"How dare you, you know nothing about me! That is my big brother gone there of course I care I just don't think we should be all sad about it and put our energy to getting them back." She screeched lunging forward, but Oscar grabbed her.
"Z calm down." Dan said.
"Why should I?" She yelled at him throwing her arms up in the air.
"Because I said so." Dan yelled getting his crutches and standing up and going over to her. Oscar who was obviously the peace keeper as he jumped up and stopped Dan from advancing any further.
"Your not my boss." Zero shouted also standing up, Oscar sighed.
"Right both of you I am the boss cause I am the oldest since Blane isn't her so either go cool down somewhere or shut up and sit down otherwise I will ground you both." Oscar told them as they both reluctantly sat down.
"This is one pro of not having Blane here." Oscar muttered not meaning for me to hear.
"Why?" I asked, as the three of them looked at each other and laughed.
"Cause he would have either joined in or made them stop and go sit in a corner." Oscar said in between laughter.
(Normal POV)
Daisy was sat in between Blane's legs as he stroked her hair and she felt herself starting to drift off to sleep as the door was thrown open by a couple of guards. "Up now." The first on grunted grabbing Daisy and ruffly pulling her hands behind her back and hand cuffing them together. Another guard did the same with Blane before they were both pushed down onto the ground with there heads lying on the ground. Daisy groaned with pain as her stomach made contact with ground, but couldn't move due to the hands holding her down.
Blane managed to successfully twist his head around to look at Daisy when another set of footsteps walked in. Blane watched as they approached Daisy then leant down and stabbed something into her neck then she slumped into unconsciousness. While Blane was staring at Daisy the same person did the same to him and his world was plunged into darkness once again.
