Prompt 36: Funeral
Terran didn't remember much from his father's funeral. He remembered his mother sobbing, another woman comforting her and telling her to think of her unborn child, to calm down. He asked where father was, and it set his mother to crying even harder and squeezing him in her arms tightly as though trying to crush him.
He remembered burying father in the earth. Terran had thought he was only sleeping. He'd thrown a fit, using his earthbending to keep his father from being buried. He'd been carried away so he could no longer stop them, screaming for his father all the way.
His mother had cried every day until his baby brother was born. Baby brother had father's eyes.
