The recovery team had returned to Konoha, successfully getting Kakashi back without starting a war, but Sorra was put into a medical coma due to how low her chakra levels were. Tsunade was pissed at the state she had been brought back, but there was nothing she could do until Sorra recovered enough for her to be punished for putting her own life and the life of her child on the line just to save Kakashi without the team that had went with her. Kakashi had been released from the hospital the day after they returned but he did not leave Sorra's side and his worry only grew for his wife.
Sorra was still extremely pale, but her chakra levels were slowly going back to normal as the week passed. Everyone was worried since she had not shown any signs of waking up after Tsunade released the Medical Coma jutsu she had put on her until 13 days after returning to Konoha, but not how anyone expected her to wake up. It was a quiet morning and Kakashi had gone to get something to eat when a pain-filled scream echoed through the hospital.
Nurses dashed to the source of the screams that had not stopped and came to Sorra's room where her back was half arched off the bed, showing her heavily pregnant state and there was blood soaking the sheets around her waist. Nurses got moving quickly to get Sorra to the Operating room as word was sent to Tsunade that her water had broken. Kakashi tried to go in with the nurses but was held back since he would do no good as Tsunade dashed into the room and the doors closed on Kakashi.
Word spread across to the few who worried about Sorra and soon the waiting room was filled. Screams still echoed through the halls, and Kakashi had to fight everything he had to not burst into the room to help his wife but knew he could do nothing. Asuma and Kurenai sat together with worry, while Naruto snoozed in his seat. Tsume had a book in her lap while her companion, Kuromaru, whined under her feet as every scream reached them. Neji leaned against a wall with his arms crossed, Tenten, Hinata, and Rock Lee chatted quietly, Ino talked with Hana, while Choji munched on a bag of chips next to a sleeping Shikamaru.
Ten long hours passed before they heard anything different. Sorra's screams had finally faded but in its place was a quiet cry, just loud enough for everyone in the waiting room to hear. Kakashi jumped to his feet as the doors finally opened and Tsunade came out with a pink wrapped bundle.
"Congratulations, Kakashi," Tsunade smiled as she eased the bundle into his arms and he looked down at his daughter as she slept and smiled, noticing the silver fuzz on top of her head. "The nurses are helping Sorra clean up then they'll take her back to her room if you want to head back there and wait for her."
Kakashi gave a single nod to those who had sat with him through Sorra's labor before disappearing down the hall to the room Sorra had been in and saw that the room had been cleaned up. Unsure how to go about having a newborn child in his arms, he stayed by the window, slightly rocking the sleeping child.
"Kakashi." Her weak voice reached him and he turned and saw her being wheeled into the room by a nurse who lifted her into the bed before leaving. He came to her side and kissed her brow before easing their child into her arms and sat on the edge of the bed besides her. "Child-birth sucks."
"I'm sure that it usually isn't that bad, but you had been unconscious the past two weeks recovering from overdoing it with that elemental summon."
"If you hadn't been captured, this all could have been avoided. If I get pregnant again, you are restricted to the village the last two months," Sorra smiled as Sasha wriggled slightly before waking up, revealing dark red eyes. "She has some traits from both of us, I wonder who she'll take after as she grows up."
"We'll figure that out later. I'm glad you're awake and that there were no complications with Sasha. You gave everyone a scare with how you woke up screaming."
"Tsunade didn't even put in an epidural. You know how painful that was?" Sorra snorted as she adjusted her top and exposed her breast to feed Sasha. "I'm only doing okay because she numbed the lower half of my body after Sasha came out. She said she couldn't do it during because then it would be much more difficult during the labor."
"I love you Sorra," Kakashi smiled and the look she gave him, made him feel like he was the luckiest man in the world.
Sorra stopped going on missions outside of the village once Sasha was a few months old and worked under Tsunade at the hospital as Naruto took over as Hokage and married Hinata. Kakashi took on a new team from the Academy but promised to be more careful when he left for any amount of time.
As Sasha grew up, she took after her father the most. She wore a mask just like her father while her silver locks flowed below her waist by the time she was five, and even was able to learn lightning abilities much easier than any other element, but she could summon Yahii and had complete control of the elemental and somehow made his rage completely disappear when she accidently hit the water elemental with a chidori and ended up infusing the two elements. Soon Sasha summoned Yahii for everything she did as she trained and eventually graduated as a genin at age 8. Even though she took after her father with appearances and ability to graduate early, she was spontaneous and it reminded Kakashi of Naruto when he was younger, just not as bad with pranks.
Sorra and Kakashi had twin boys when Sasha was four and named them Daisuke and Jai. They took after Sorra but somehow gained their own Sharingan. When Kakashi and Sorra went to Tsunade to try and understand how that was possible, she explained that since Kakashi had gained his own Sharingan, it had merged with him so the twins went to the Uchiha Clan 3 times a week once they were able to activate their Sharingan at age four to learn how to control their Kekkei Genkai.
Kakashi never thought that he could ever be this happy in his life, but was glad to have Sorra in his life. Their children were quite a handful at times when they decided to get into trouble together, but they were well behaved for the most part. They couldn't have asked for anything that could make them happier than to be able to have each other.
