okay so i decided to do an X-men story because i have no ideas at the moment for Avengers and i dont want to forget about my other characters. so i hope you enjoy.

Collateral

I have noticed that the X-men have been acting strange so did Reine and Laura until one day the Professor called us into his office. I noticed that all of the X-men were there and no other students.

"I know what you are wondering Kristen I also know that the three of you have been curios."

"Sorry professor but we just wanted to know is something bad has happened." I explained.

"Well girls if you are curios we got a anonymous tip about the mansion being attacked, tonight."

By this time Reine was jumping for joy, "Monsieur Laura and I have been workin' on fighting tactics and signals."

"That won't be necessary Reine I also called you girls in so if any of the students get panicked or hear this rumor you can tell them that it's just that, a rumor." He informed.

Reine got out of her chair and opened the door which is when Billy Jean and Jesse James fell into the room, "It looks like you have enough people ta lie for you mon ami I will keep quiet but not lie." Then she stormed out.

Laura and I found her in our room, "What was that about jambalaya?" Laura asked.

"Sorry but I won't lie."

"You told me back in your home you lied a lot." I tell her.

"Dat's different I lied ta da gangs and I confessed ta da priest dis is nothin' like home."

"Well it might be a little." Laura says smiling.

"Oh no that's the same look Reine gets when she has an idea." I complain.

"Well I was thinking what if we go on patrol of the grounds tonight and Reine uses the poker chips as signals."

"White can mean clear, blue means warning, and red means problem." Reine adds.

They look at me, "Okay I will go along and I won't tell anyone."

Reine stood up and walked to the door she opened it and the boys fell in, "Will you boys keep quiet?" she asks.

"Yes." they say in unison.

"Will ya also help us?"

"Yes" they say again.

That night we were all in place just going around the school making sure that no one was around. We also made sure that we weren't caught by one of the X-men or worse our fathers. Reine and I were patrolling together then the ground started to shake which meant Avalanche. Reine set off a red poker chip as the ground shook some trees came loose and stated falling towards us.

Until Nightcrawler teleported us out of the way, "Vhat are you doing here?"

"Trying to help." Reine states.

Then the rest of the Brotherhood started to attack the mansion and rest of the X-men. During the battles I don't know how but Reine she hit her head pretty hard and wouldn't wake up.

"Wolverine! X-23!" I yelled.

Everyone stopped, "Lets get out of here." I heard Toad say.

As they ran Wolverine and Laura were next to Reine, "Will it help if she absorbs our powers?" Laura asks.

"No that will only work for a little while she needs medical attention." As Wolverine and the other X-men went to the medical bay I saw that the Scarlet Witch was standing there watching.

She started to follow then Nightcrawler teleported in front of her, "Vhat do you want Vanda?"

"Kurt I'm the one who tipped you about this." he led her inside and I followed.

In the med bay I saw Reine still out cold but alive, "Vhy did you tell us?" I heard Nightcrawler ask her.

"I was afraid you would get hurt I never really thought about the students."

"She's more than a student she's my niece." he stated The Scarlet Witch was shocked.

I didn't stay to hear more because BJ gave me a telepathic message saying Reine was awake, "BJ why did you not tell others?"

"Cause…it's hard ta explain jus ask her somethin'."

I walked over to the medical bed, "Reine how do you feel?"

She looked at me lost, "I am so sorry cherie but do I know you and who is Reine?"

"Reine it's me Kristin your best friend."

"So you're Kristin I'm Reine."

I could feel tears in my eyes Reine didn't remember me or herself, "Is this permanent?" I asked BJ.

"Well no it takes time but a telepath can help bring back the memories faster."

"How did this happen?" I asked.

"I can answer that." the Professor said rolling in to the room, "Reine took either many blows or a huge amount of pressure on the cerebellum of her brain. The cerebellum is in control of balance, motor control, attention, language, emotional functions and processing memories. Which would be declarative memory knowing what and procedural memory knowing how. This caused her to her loose her declarative memory."

"What's that?" I asked.

"It's the knowing what memories facts and events she knows how to use things but she can't remember anything about her life." he informed.

"Can you help her professor?" BJ asks.

"I think you should help her Billy Jean."

"Me? But she doesn't remember me."

"She will once you bring those memories back." the Prof stated. Billy Jean then agreed to bring back Reine's memory.

so yeah i had Scarlet Witch and Nightcrawler sorta together. sorry if i got any of the memory loss facts wrong i just looked it up online. also sorry if this sounds more like a soap opera but i thought it would be interesting. next week the chapter will follow right after this.
