"Come Usako, I think we should find Minako-chan and stick together." Tuxedo Kamen whispered into Usagi's ear.
Usagi followed Tuxedo Kamen as he led her through the crowd; they spotted Minako by the DJ booth as she flirted with one of college boys.
All of a sudden a loud crash of thunder boomed around them as the electrical equipment stopped working, all the balcony doors opened suddenly as the winds rushed in with the rain and the candles flames extinguished. People were screaming all over in the dark as people began to stamped around trying to get out as others began to scream that people were dropping to the ground.
Usagi held onto Tuxedo Kamen tightly as people moving around them were pulling in all directions.
Katherine cried out as someone stomped on her foot, Ema nearly fell over her heels with the pushing and pulling of the students around her, her empathy abilities were on overdrive now as everyones emotions and fears slammed her senses. Valerie managed to move through the people; amazingly she didn't trip in the dark and reached a wall that she used for bracing her back against. She could have sworn she saw shadows dark as night moving around the people.
Hotaru and Jewels had been caught in the middle of all of it; they were dancing together as they fought to stay together in the middle of the chaos. "We need to get out of this area; we need to get ready this is it." Hotaru yelled at Jewels. She cursed as she realized they didn't do their duty to be alert and ready, because they were too busy dancing and having a good time together. Hotaru bit her lower lip as she tried to get the both of them out of this mess.
There was a faint glow about the ballroom now, as the shadows and deepest black hues seemed to grow about the room, dancers began to fall to the ground as more panicked. People began to scream and run again this time, the screams were horrifying as it seemed people were living their deepest fears.
Usa felt her fingers burning as she tried to hold onto Helios, people around them kept trying to break them apart as she cried out. Deep in her heart she knew that she for some reason she could not let go of Helios. "HELIOS!" She cried as she felt people now physically pulling her away from him.
Helios pushed against people as he tried to keep holding onto Usa's hand but it felt as if people were pulling each one in a different direction as he felt her yell out his name. "MAIDEN!" he cried out to her calls, as he felt their hands slip each other's, his glove slipped off of his hand as Usa pulled it away towards her.
Usa felt herself tumble in the dark surrounded by fear and terror as people rushed all over. Suddenly Jared was next to her, as he tried to help her. He took her hand and pulled her to him, she somehow knew it was him by his scent, and tone of voice. Amid all the panic his voice remained steady and smooth.
"Usa-chan I have you, don't worry I will keep you safe, I will never let anyone hurt you." He murmured as he allowed the darkness to hide the shadows that pushed away the humans in their way so that he could get her to the back away from the ball room.
"Jared… Jared my friends are in there I have to get back in there, they need help." Usa cried out as she tried to go back towards the cries of people. She needed to get away from Jared and henshion; Neo Sailor Moon could help everyone. But Jared's grip was hard like stone and he refused to budge.
Valerie managed to get out of the crowd and wrap herself inside one of the long window curtains by the balcony doors. She had no choice but if she wanted to henshion this was her only choice at the moment. Gripping tightly against her henshion stick she pressed it close to her chest as she cried out within the curtains "VESTA ETERNAL MAKE UP!"
Flames roared to life around her body as she felt her red gown melt off of her body as the flames intensified surrounding her as they solidified into her senshi body suit and fuku, spreading her arms apart the flames surrounded her arms forming her long gloves, the others shooting down to form her boots. A fiery phoenix formed before her as it cried out and returned towards her chest forming her bows, the symbol of Vesta etching across a red gem at the center of her bows. She made her final stand as she noticed she burned the curtains to the ground. Ooops so much for that Sailor Vesta thought as she quickly decided they needed a light source. She lifted her hand up high above her head and closed her eyes as she focused her mental eye on every candle in the ball room, she shut out the cries and screams of panic from those in the ballroom as she called the flames within her soul, "Vesta Illumination!" She called out as she summoned the flames of her asteroid. The flames shot out of her finger tips as they rushed around the room within seconds every candle in the ballroom was alight.
The shadows that were moving within the ballroom hissed and growled as the light returned, they receded from the light, a few jumped into the bodies of several ball patrons possessing them, a dark aura surrounding the possessed human hosts. They started moving towards Vesta.
Hotaru could finally see around her as light began to illuminate around the ballroom. It was in pure chaos, no one was able to get out there were pools of people by the entrance and emergency exit doors, but the doors were not opening.
Hotaru maneuvered around people, their masks seemed to meld together making her feel agitated. She knew they were students not monsters, but with all this chaos it was easy to mistaken anyone for the enemy. The enemy was very wise in crafting this masquerade its brilliant now that I think about it. Hotaru thought as she moved towards one of the balconies, as people got in her way.
Katherine and Ema managed to get underneath one of the long tables that had a long flowing fabric cover over it. There was food and drinks all over the ground, Katherine nearly died as she felt her hands and knees get wet and dirty, her gown was ruined. "Oh no my gown!" Katherine whimpered.
"Ema thinks Kat's gown is the least of her worries right now." Ema supplied as she held onto her sisters shoulder, it was very dark everywhere, when suddenly they could see light. Both girls poked their heads out from under the table to see nothing but chaos. They both ducked back underneath the table and nodded. Both pulled out their respective asteroid's henshion sticks and called out to their powers. "CERES ETERNAL" "PALLAS ETERNAL" in unison they yelled, "MAKE UP".
Flashes of blue and pink lights flashed from under the table when both Sailor Pallas and Ceres came out from under the table.
"What a freaking mess! How are we supposed to find Usa in all of this?" Ceres exclaimed as she jumped onto the table and looked out into the ball room.
"Pallas does not know; it's too emotionally congested for Pallas to sense her." Sailor Pallas added as she now joined Ceres on top of the table.
Finding a needle in the haystack was a major understatement right about now, Ceres thought to herself as she sighed. That's when she spotted Vesta at the other end being surrounded by some weird glowing ball patrons; Vesta was waving her hands at them.
"HOW ABOUT SOME HELP SLOWPOKES!" Vesta yelled at the top of her lungs as she waved down her sisters. She turned to focus on this class B movie zombies as she stepped back to avoid their hands. I can't blast them they are innocent people possessed. She thought as she tried to figure out what to do before they grabbed her.
Sailor Pallas's eyes widened as she smiled realizing what needed to be done in order to achieve their goals. She brought her hands inward towards her chest as she cupped them together, as she whispered into them a silent prayer, focusing all her energy she threw out her hands releasing a mist as she called out in a sing songy voice "Pallas shimmering sleep mist" as the thin translucent mist quickly enveloped the entire room, people began to drop to the ground in a deep sleep.
Sailor Ceres was highly impressed by Pallas, "I didn't know you could do that."
Sailor Pallas giggled, "Neither did Pallas know."
Unfortunately the mist did not work on the enemy or those who were possessed, as Vesta shirked, as one of the zombies reached out to grab her. That's when a blast full of flower petals hit the group and threw them far towards the wall away from Vesta.
"About time you two!" Vesta chimed as she joined Pallas and Ceres's side.
"Hate to burst your joy bubble but we are now surrounded." Sailor Ceres stated as she pressed her back to Pallas and Vesta, all three now moving in unison as the shadow yoma circled them like vultures.
Hotaru managed to get to the balcony, closed the door and quickly reached into her bra pulling out her henshion stick. She held it up high as she heard another voice.
"I was wondering where you were keeping it hidden while in that dress." Sailor Juno stated as she grinned.
"Hotaru blushed deeply, "Well glad to see you managed to escape the madness, shouldn't you be in there kicking butt?" Hotaru threw back at Juno.
"I saw you and decided to wait for you." Juno said as she shrugged.
Hotaru sighed and rolled her eyes, "A bit confidant aren't you." She said as she held high her stick and cried out "SATURN ETERNAL MAKE UP!"
She closed her eyes as she felt the power of her planet rush up around her body as she felt her arms move to their own accord as her bodice and fuku materialized over her body. As the last wave of her power washed over, she opened her eyes feeling the cool metal of her tiara solidify over her forehead. Within her hands she felt the weight of her silence glaive as she tightened her grip and smirked at Juno.
Both girls rushed into the ball room to find that almost everyone was on the ground unconscious. That's when they took note of the shadows circling their friends. Sailor Saturn rushed in at a fast pace, shadows were no issue to her, as the guardian of death and rebirth darkness was no stranger to her. She jumped up and came down with a swift whoosh her glaive spun in her swift delicate hands, the blade glowing as it slashed through the shadows threatening her fellow senshi.
Usagi was quickly shielded by Tuxedo Kamen as a group of teenagers were stampeding towards them, the DJ booth fell over as the two hunks as Minako would put it jumped over and started running to get away.
"Usako use my cape and transform within, I will conceal you." Tuxedo Kamen stated quickly.
Minako rushed behind the stage noticed no one there and quickly pulled out her henshion stick as she cried out, "Venus Eternal Make Up!" Golden beams surrounded her suddenly as stars shot out about her swirling quickly as they came in and formed her senshi form. A burst of stars shot out as she took her final pose. She rushed back over to where Tuxedo Kamen and Usagi were as she quickly summoned her love chain, throwing it out around both Tuxedo Kamen and Usagi and yanked them out the way, a second more and they would have been rushed by the stampede. Releasing her chain she pulled it back and gasped when she watched the group of teenagers drop to the ground so suddenly.
Usagi transformed within Tuxedo Kamen's embrace as his cape shielded her from anyone's eyes. She grabbed her brooch and pressed it tightly against her chest as she called out for her power, "MOON ETERNAL MAKE UP" between the transformation and sudden movement Usagi nearly threw up on Tuxedo Kamen.
Eternal Sailor Moon pushed herself away from Tuxedo Kamen as she gasped for breath.
"Are you okay Eternal Sailor Moon?" Tuxedo Kamen asked with concern.
"Yes, got a little motion sickness for a moment." Eternal said as she shook her head and noticed that almost everyone was on the ground. "What happened?"
"I don't know, they just dropped at the same time." Venus answered.
"Why are they glowing now?" Tuxedo Kamen asked.
"Something's wrong, that is not normal." Eternal answered Tuxedo Kamen's question. "But what exactly is happening that much I can't figure out."
"They are being drained, the enemy has made their move, and they have Usa-chan, quickly they went towards the back." Helios quickly stated as he noticed how quickly the color drained from both Eternal Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen.
"Let's hurry than, Helios do you know who exactly took her?" Venus asked as they all started running towards the back of the ball room careful not to trip over the bodies on the ground.
"The singer, Jared Carson." Helios answered.
"I knew he was bad news, I should have prohibited her from coming to the dance." Tuxedo Kamen said in anger.
"He tricked all of us; he seemed like a nice boy." Eternal added, "Usa had always felt angry around him and did not trust him and here I went and pushed her towards him."
"And how could you have known Eternal? You were trying to help her get over her hurt with Helios the absent over here." Venus added as she gave him a quick serious glance.
Helios cheeks flushed red, as he tilted his head up slightly in defiance. "I did not exactly abandon her, what I did; I did it to protect her. It's not like I told her to go into some other man's arms as an answer to her sadness." Helios added with a little bitterness.
Eternal felt right there like Helios just stabbed her in the heart. "Helios, I… I only wanted her happiness, and I thought that perhaps a new love interest would help her, I… I never had ill intention towards you or her union with you. But if you never let us know what was happening how else would we have known?" She asked feeling awful now.
"Have you ever heard something called having faith?" Helios simply said as he rushed forward extending his hand out as the doors flew off its hinges in a swift explosion, the group continued through the kitchen.
"Enough all of you, we can talk about this later right now our goal is to save my future daughter from the hands of this dangerous enemy, not squabble over who did what!" Tuxedo Kamen said in a serious tone.
"You are correct your majesty, forgive my blindness." Helios answered with no sarcasm or emotion in his voice.
Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus were locked in combat with the shadow senshi as they tried to reach Usa and stop the enemy from advancing. The shadow senshi were very formidable opponents and worked swiftly together against them.
Shadow Mars, Shadow Mercury, and Shadow Jupiter rushed into one of the service elevators and closed the door on Uranus and Neptune as they approached to get them.
"Cowards! Come back and fight us!" Uranus screamed as they reached the elevator.
"Quick let's take the other one after them." Neptune said as she rushed into the second service elevator and punched the button to the basement.
Uranus joined her as the doors closed and the elevator began to descend. That's when the elevator stopped abruptly. Both outer senshi stumbled briefly as the elevator shook.
"Not so bright are we?" Shadow Mars hissed from the top of the elevator as laughter and snickering was heard. "Have a nice trip, see you next fall!" After that was said the elevator began to drop rapidly.
"SHIMATA! BAKA!" Cursed Uranus as the elevator caught more speed it was going so fast that both Uranus and Neptune were floating upward their feet no longer touching the elevator floor.
"You're not getting rid of us that easily." Neptune shouted as she grabbed her Deep Aqua Mirror, "Hold onto me Uranus it's going to get wet and bumpy."
Sailor Uranus embraced Neptune as she called to her powers and focused envisioning both of them surrounded by water, this water would move upward filling the elevator shaft and shoot them upward towards the roof. "DEEP SUBMERGE!" She cried out releasing her power as she willed it to her command, instead of an attack she used it to slow down the elevator, encase them and shot them upwards.
Shadow Mercury stood on the roof with the other two shadow senshi, "I sense an immense source of power rushing towards us."
"That's impossible; those two should be pancakes by now." Shadow Jupiter said as she turned to look over to the hatches that lead to the elevator shafts.
"I wouldn't rule them out so quickly, according to my host's memories they are very dangerous." Shadow Mars stated as they watch the hatches explode open as a burst of pure water shot up to the sky so strong and within the water the two outer senshi appeared glowing, a ball of raw energy blasted out from the two senshi as Shadow Mercury and Shadow Jupiter were struck. Shadow Mars was quick and moved countering the attack with her own attack, "Shadow Flame Sniper!"
Sailor Pluto was at Tokyo Tower waiting, as she suspected the tear had become active again, radiating so much energy that she feared that she alone would not be enough to seal it. Nothing came in or out of the tear, as she waited for a moment and surveyed the area for any enemy.
I suspect a trap, but there is no other choice, I have to try and at least weaken the tear. Pluto thought to herself as she came out into the open looked around one last time and aimed her garnet orb towards the tear. "In the name of Chronos, oh father of time give me the power to seal this unholy rupture in the time and space continuum." The garnet orb began to glow as she focused its energy towards the tear and allowed it to shoot out at the tear.
"Uh ah, that's not nice." A voice said from behind, "Can't let you close our way out now can I."
As Pluto looked back while still allowing her power continues to hit the tear she saw a woman with wild neon yellow hair and crazy electric purple eyes. She could feel the tear beginning to shrink as she continues to push forward now returning to the tear as she focused ignoring the woman.
"Oh I see! I am not good enough for you to stop and fight with huh? My feelings are hurt now." The woman stated as she extended her hand out and did a yanking motion.
Before Sailor Pluto could react, it was too late her long dark green hair came to life against her will, as it pulled her back, she bit her lip to stop from crying out from the pain.
When Haira saw that Pluto continued regardless of the pain she caused her she grinned, "I love breaking though cookies sweetie." With that she brought both hands and took complete control of Sailor Pluto's very long hair, making it coil and wrap itself around her body forcing her arms to fall down to her sides, wrapping her up like a hair burrito.
Sailor Pluto cursed, she knew that if she turned to fight the enemy then she would not get a second chance to do damage, by having continued to assault the tear; it was weak flickering in and out of existence. "You may have captured me but at the cost of your precious tear." Pluto stated as Haira stepped into her view.
Haira grinned loving how this senshi taunted her. "Are you sure my pretty? I don't think you did succeed." She said as she waved her hand and allowed Pluto to see a second tear was open behind the first unharmed. "As you see, your attempt was futile and trust me we have what we want and will succeed."
Sailor Pluto gasped in surprise, they were tricked. If she got her hands on electric yellow's hair she was going to pull out every strand until that woman was bald. "The path your people seek will only bring forth destruction and devastation not just for my people but for your people as well. Do not allow them to take Usa-chan, I can see the future and at this rate there will be nothing for anyone!" Pluto warned Haira.
"I don't know about that my pretty green hair burrito, as far as I am concerned you're losing and we are winning, and soon this world will be ours and you sorry humans will become our slaves." Haira stated with great confidence.
Usa struggled against Jared's fierce grip. "Let me GO!"
Jared refused to let her go as he forced her to run with him; he had her headed towards the emergency exit that would lead them to the very top of the roof.
Usa knew that she was not to show who she truly was but this was an emergency and the others needed her, she had to get back. She pulled out her brooch and called out "NEO MOON CRISIS MAKE UP!" She felt the heat within her heart exploding outward as it surrounded her, lights shot out of her brooch that now sat upon her chest as ribbons began to incase her body forming her bodice part of her senshi uniform, as she twirled her fuku flowed out surrounding her waist, the warm flow of her power rushed out to her arms and legs forming her gloves and boots, as she felt her golden crescent moon burn over her forehead as the tiara materialized. The final phase of her transformation completed as she took her final pose.
Jared froze in place as he felt that Usa did not budge as he pulled on her hand, only to see a series of flashing lights encasing her, he briefly felt the warmth of her power as he held her hand; as the lights toned down Usa was no longer there beside him, instead Neo Sailor Moon stood in her place. He knew who she was yet having witnessed her transformation was amazing, it was almost a beautiful process where her purest light glistened momentarily before fading back into her soul.
"Let me go Jared, no time for explanations I have to go help everyone." Neo Sailor Moon stated as she attempted to yank her hand free from Jared's grip. "I don't want to hurt you, but if you leave me no choice I will." Neo warned.
Jared simply snorted at Neo's threat of hurting him if she didn't let her go. Since she showed her true colors it was time she learned who he was. "I wouldn't worry Neo Sailor Moon, try if you like but there is nothing you can do to hurt me." Jared stated as he grinned.
Neo Sailor Moon gasped at Jared's audacity to taunt her when her eyes widened with surprise as Jared's entire body began to blur. Shadows raced up to embrace him, and within a second Jared was gone and who stood before her was no other then Yoshi the Lord of Nightmares. She was stunned, confused, and in part disappointed. "It can't be…" she whispered. "You tricked us, you lied to me." She said in an accusatory tone. She went to strike Yoshi with her free hand across his face when he caught her hand, now holding both her hands bringing her closer to his body.
"Uh uh my sweet, let's leave the teasing for when we are alone." Yoshi said in a smug tone. That's when she did the unexpected.
Neo Sailor Moon growled in anger as she narrowed her eyebrows close and struck his crotch with her knee very hard as Yoshi released her and bent over grabbing his privates as he cried out in a high pitch.
"That's my Neo Moon Nut Cracker attack just for you, you jerk!" She stated as she turned around and ran towards the doors that would lead back to the kitchen. When she thought she would succeed in escaping she collided into a man who just materialized before her.
Ulric grabbed Neo Sailor Moon and threw her against the wall as he gripped her neck and lifted her against the wall cutting her air supply. Her hands came around his, as she gasped desperately for air her legs kicking as she tried to fight him. "Didn't your mother teach you it's not nice to crack nuts? No more out of you naughty girl." He stated as he watched her arms fall to her sides as her eyes closed and her head fell to the side limp. He let her go as she dropped to the ground unconscious.
"What have you done? Did you kill her?" Yoshi managed to ask in a strained voice.
"No Yoshi, she is simply neutralized for the moment, can't have her going around kicking people's nuts don't you think?" Ulric stated as he looked at Yoshi in disgust. "You best take her and make sure you can control her or else, I can tell you I will not tolerate this kind of behavior from anyone do you understand!"
"I can control her; you have nothing to worry about." Yoshi stated in an angry tone.
"Sure you can, I can see you're a foolish masochist." Ulric stated coldly. "Now take her, I will join you in a minute I have something to do first.
Yoshi didn't get a chance to retort with a few harsh words towards Ulric for he left them. Yoshi went to Neo sailor Moon and knelt beside her as he placed his hand by the side of her neck and checked for her vitals. She was breathing and had a pulse, but bruises were beginning to appear along her neck where Ulric had choked and strangled her. Yoshi swore to himself that Ulric would pay for this. He scooped her up into his arms gently, and walked slowly towards the exit to the roof as his privates still hurt something awful, she truly did surprise him with that move. Had it not been for what he felt for her and who she was, anyone else who dared to emasculate him he would have torn their heart out.
