I watched the wicked grin on my Uncles face start out as a thin line and turning into a full toothy grin. I could almost imagine that being Naraku smiling at me through my Uncle. I watched him take a step forward; all the boys get into fighting stances…..and then him being thrown into the wall. Koga stood pinning him up above his head, beads of sweat pouring down his face.

"RUN!" Koga shouts.

"Koga.." I start.

"Fucking run Kagome." He snapped.

Inuyasha grabbed my hand and took off with me trailing behind him. He made a left out the door with Miroku and the boys' right behind us. I could hear a slight struggle and Koga yell out in pain as we rounded a corner.

I nearly ran into Inuyasha when he stopped suddenly; almost running Sango over. She stood there out of breath with her hair every which way. She quickly smiled and ran to me, pulling me into a hug.

"My god I forgot what a maze this basement was. I was looking everywhere for that damn room. Lets get the hell out of here." She says once she lets me go.

"Kikyo?" I asked.

"Handled…for now." She says with a smile.

"The stairs are this way." Inuyasha says as he points to the left.

"Let's go!" shouted both Kohaku and Sota.

We reach the stairs and our dreams to get out, find the cops are shattered right there. The entire stair well was destroyed. Each board splintered and broken in half, laying in a pile of rubble at our feet.

"Damn…I could jump us all out but I'd have to do it one at a time." Inuyasha offers.

"There was some rope in the room I left Kikyo in." Sango offered.

"I'll go with you." Miroku was saying before a shiver went down his spine.

"You're not going anywhere." Says a deep voice behind us.

I spin around quickly, pushing Sota behind me. Inuyasha tried to push me behind him but I resisted.

"No." I say. "I got this. I'm done. You still haven't learned anything."

"There is nothing to learn you insulate child. Wish me back my powers or I kill everyone you care about." Naraku growls.

Inuyasha grabs my arm as I try to take a step forward and I shake him off. I couldn't take it anymore. No more running, no more letting someone else fight my own battles. No more someone getting hurt because of me and some stupid jewel that was passed to me. It would end today, right here.

"You were wished a hanyou, wished a heart because a young boy wanted you to learn a lesson. He wanted you to understand what feelings were, not power. I will never wish you power Naraku." I say through clenched teeth.

Sota reaches forward and grabs my hand. I can feel him shaking and it helps fuel my anger. My poor brother had to grow up in fear rather than having a wonderful childhood. He should have had parents loving him and raising him, not his older sister. My parents were so loving and well loved back. Everyone knew them and so many admired them.

"I may not be a full demon girl but I have enough power to destroy the whole lot of you. Use that fool Kikyo to carry that jewel to darkness and wish myself back myself." He says with a slight chuckle.

"You're right, you do have powers and that's where my ancestor messed up. He wanted you to have a heart like his step father did because he was a man of kindness and strength." I squeeze Sotas hand tightly. "I'd like you to be more like my very human, very well loved father who raised me to be the person I am."

"Why you little brat!" he shouts as he tries to use his demon speed to grab me and stop me. Sadly for his it was too late, the words pouring out of my mouth. Inuyasha had anticipated Naraku's move and used his own demon speed to intercept him; holding him back a few feet from me.

"I wish you human Naraku, just like my father. You will now know aging, a weak human body; you will soon know a mortal death. I wish you human Naraku.!"

Worst fanfic author ever. I know i know, its been far too long and yes this one was very short. I'm shooting ideas for how this will really end with a friend but i really wanted to get this out. I promised someone on here that i would have one out very soon and i sure hope this holds you till i finish. I will be updating very soon.

I've just had a lot going on. I got engaged, my guy left for Navy boot camp, he graduated on May 22 and is now in A school. I'm trying to plan a wedding so i can have my sailor with me always.

Please review, give me ideas for the last chapter. Help me give this story the ending it really deserves.
