First Encounter
It was three in the morning when Reborn heard light footsteps pass by his room. He moves silently and quickly as the footsteps went passed his room and down the hall. He swiped his gun from top side drawer and quietly wexited his room.
There wasn't a chance that it was Tsuna because the brunet would come straight into his room whenever the boy got the chance. It couldn't be Kyoya because the boy was mostly likely asleep by now or finishing up his rounds. It would usually take Reborn a few minutes to wrestle the boy to bed when he caught Kyoya sill up. Ryohei slept like a log and would never be up three in the morning for any reason besides to use the bathroom.
He stalked down the halls, ears picking the extremely faint sound of feet pattering against the carpet. Whoever was wandering the halls of his mansion was no match for the world's greatest hitman, and they better be prepared.
He halts when he finds that the footsteps have stopped. When he peaks around the corners, he spots a two shadowy figure outside of Kyoya's room. He takes aim as on of the figure reach for the door knob. When he's just about to pull the trigger, the door is broke off its hinges and a familiar silver tonfa is lodged in the wall behind the figure.
Moonlight streams in from the room, allowing Reborn to catch a glimpse of the two figures. A boy and girl, both dressed in nothing but rags. They appear to be siblings, brother and sisters, based off their matching hair styles.
Clearly both are startled by the sudden attack and stare with wide eyes as Kyoya smiles venously.
"Herbivores," the raven says. "Trespassing is inexcusable." He brandishes his other tonfa. "I'll bite you death." And then he lunges.
The boy makes a stand against Kyoya, grabbing the tonfa before it could strike him. "Kufufu is that all you got?" He pushes the tonfa to the side and aims a punch for Kyoya's stomach. It misses and Kyoya nails a kick into the boy's side. He grabs his tonfa lodged into the wall, ducking under a kick, and swings it full force into the boy's other side.
Meanwhile, the girl looks stuck between running away and helping out. She stands a little bit down that hall as the two boys fight it out. Lucky, she stands a little closer to where Reborn is watching.
When it is obvious that the boy is losing against Kyoya, Reborn steps in. He silently stalks up behind the girl and catches her by the arm. She let out a scream, grabbing both Kyoya's and the boy's attention. The look of pure anger falls on the boy's face.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, Kyoya takes this split second to slam his tonfas once more against his side before going for the head.
The boy falls to the floor, slumming, and the girl lets out a cry in italian. "Brother!"
Kyoya looks pleased, and the sound of a dooring opening down the hall signals that all the noise has woken up Tsuna. The girl is bawling her eyes out while Reborn gets the feeling that these two were going to be staying for a while….
