He knew that this holiday would fit with Rocket, since he had quite a sense of humour, guessing antics were going to ensue plus that meant he would be a target of his antics, plus knew Groot was helping him making Mantis hope Rocket was alright, making Gamora sigh.
They then saw Mira whom was Rocket's girlfriend show up, in her Novacore uniform, plus had her weapons wondering where Rocket was, getting it after Starlord told her, making the female raccoon grin, knowing this festival would encourage her boyfriend to get into antics remembering his record had been expunged.

"Yep he's sleeping right now, plus we were hanging out, before he got a brain freeze." Mira told them.

Teen Groot told him, hoping he was alright, letting him rest, as he looked hung over seeing him join the others sluggishly, making Gamora and Starlord exchange a look seeing him resting his furry head on the table making Drax guess he was hung over, seeing Mantis stroking Rocket's back gently, despite Groot looking worried, knowing Rocket was unsure of her.
"Sleep okay, as you look really, really sleepy." Mira said kissing his furry head, stunning Starlord knowing Rocket probably had a blast last night, seeing Mira nod, hoping that Rocket would feel better, after sleeping seeing Groot nod, hoping that things would be alright hearing Rocket smore, making Mira chuckle softly.
