Weeks went by and life was going by smoothly for the trio. Elsa was getting ready to leave for Paris in just a few days. He wok was becoming much lighter due to the fact she only had a few days left. Only finishing touches and mini shoots remained in her schedule, giving her extra time to pack and leave a sturdy supply of food and chores for the lovebirds to attend to while she was gone. She even went to the liberty of creating a list of all the phone numbers she would be able to be reached by if something went wrong. After all, just because she was leaving it for a couple months, she didn't want the house to be a pigsty when she returned. And she knew Kristoff and Anna would get nothing done without a to-do list and constant checking up upon.

Her and Kristoff had talked no more about the engagement, or the long hiatus Kristoff seemed to be placing it on. Elsa never spoke about it. She knew Kristoff was anxious about asking her, and being the perfectionist he was, when it came to Anna, it had to be perfect. Interrogating him about it would only make matter worse. He would just become more nervous and hold it off even longer.

So the small velvet box remained fidgeted with in Kristoff's hands, staying still in the stark darkness of Kristoff's coat pocket, and Anna remained happily oblivious to the whole affair.

Anna's career was of course not as promotional nor successful as Elsa's, but she was completely content with her standstill position. It gave her minimal stress and time off to spend with her sister, boyfriend, and dog. All her life she longed to be wanted, to fit into a family. Of course, her parents and sister did their best to make sure she had a wonderful and memorable childhood, but making dinner with her Elsa, Kristoff, and Sven felt right. Like all of the life-long scattered puzzle pieces were finally connecting, and Anna cherished every moment with her loved ones, knowing it would too soon be ceased. Elsa was leaving in a few short days. Although Anna was happy and proud of her ambitious sister, life wouldn't be the same without her tranquil and realistic presence. Now who was going to stick up for her when Kristoff and Sven refused to bathe after a jog through the muddy park?

Yet, she knew Elsa's decision benefited everyone in the house, especially her and Kristoff. They could finally get time alone and take seriously about their relationship. Ever since the couple had tossed down the marriage card, Anna had secretly been hoping she'd get asked the question sometime soon. Even though both of them tacitly agreed their relationship would never be fully perfect or worry-free, they knew they could love each other through the storm, and both of them refused to give up on each other, no matter how hard it would become.

"Nose goes!" Anna exclaimed suddenly, touching her slim finger to her turned up nose with wide eyes.

It was Elsa's last night in the apartment, and after a interesting, conversational, meal, the trio were arguing playfully about who would do the dishes. Kristoff's side of the argument stated that because it was Elsa's final meal with them for quite some time, she should clean up the mess. However, Elsa's statement spoke that because it was her last night, and because she had prepared the meal with Anna, Kristoff should do them. And Anna just stood in the middle of them, trying to soothe the bickering pair.

Elsa instinctively copied Anna faster than one could say snowman, while Kristoff lagged behind a few confusing seconds. "Wait, what?" he asked, brows furrowed in bewilderment and a stocky finger on his large nose.

"Ha!" Elsa said teasingly, her finger still glued to her pale snout. "You lose!"

"What are you five?" Kristoff retorted at her childish attitude. Looking at Anna, he gave her his irresistible chocolate puppy-dog eyes. "What does 'nose goes' even mean?"

Anna giggled, not giving into his flirty antics. She removed his finger, and kissed his nose shortly. "Sorry Charlie, but you were too slow. Looks like you're stuck with the dishes tonight," she smiled to hold back a chuckle and took Elsa's hand, leading them to the living room.

"But...that's not fair! Anna's the one who should be doing the dishes! She gets out of everything!" Kristoff protested failingly, his bellowing voice echoing through the kitchen.

"Have fun, Kristoff!" Elsa said her goodbye and shut the kitchen door, laughing menacingly with Anna.

"Screw you," Kristoff left with the last word, turning around and filling up the sink with suds.

While Kristoff reluctantly did his housework, the girls proceeded into the living room. Sighing gently, they shared a giggle and comfortable silence. I'm gonna miss you so much," Anna spoke with a small smile and saddened eyes.

"Me too," Elsa replied. "But at least now you'll have more time alone with that man candy," she lightened the mood with a wink.

"About that," Anna started, biting her lip and fiddling with her fingers, " I need to talk to you about something."

"Oh gosh...you're not pregnant again are you?" Elsa asked with a panicked groan.

"Goodness no!" Anna exclaimed, wiping that issue off the board quickly. "I just...do you think Kristoff wants to get more serious? Like...marriage?" she stammered, unsure about the words coming from her mouth.

Elsa's heart beat out of control and her brain scattered. However, she maintained her cool on the outside and her voice stayed neutral. "Why do you bring that up?" she asked vaguely, trying to hid her sporadic orbs.

"Well, we've talked about it but I don't think he really wants to, you know? Like he always brushes it off or blushes really hard. I know he loves me, but does he wanna be with me forever?" Anna expanded in more detail.

Elsa took her time before answering, knowing she had to choose her words carefully. "Well, I think because it's his first serious relationship as well, he doesn't want to mess it up. He's a little shy and reserved anyway, so I think he over-analyzes everything. He just wants the best for you," she smiled.

"I know. I just wish he'd hurry up with it!" Anna chuckled and shrugged clumsily.

Elsa smiled a real smile. "I know. But once it happens, it'll be worth it." Though her heart couldn't help but feel bad for Anna. Kristoff had been holding off the ring for quite a while. Now that she was leaving, she didn't want Anna too feel lonely or rejected. She knew it shouldn't be rushed, but even she loved a good love story, and didn't want to miss this.

Elsa breathed out, dropping her arms to her sides and smiling at her three friends that came to wish her goodbye. It was the next morning, and Elsa had just had her large amounts of luggage checked into the plane. She stood in front of security, trying in vain to hold off leaving her friends for a few slipping moments.

"Thanks for coming with me," Elsa said, trying her hardest to swallow the thickening lump in her throat.

"Bye Elsa! Show all of those models that you're better than all of them!" Olaf stated, waddling over to hug the blonde bombshell tightly. "I'm going to miss your warm hugs," he smiled widely.

Elsa giggled, walking over to Kristoff. They looked into each other's eyes, knowing no words needed to be expressed to explain their feelings. Embracing him with tentative but secure lock, she whispered in his ear. "Thanks."

Kristoff nodded. "You too."

Lastly, Elsa made the short distance to her hardest goodbye; her sister. Her best friend. Anna's eyes were already raining with tears. "Oh, Anna. Don't cry," Elsa chuckled as a single tear escaped her eye. Hugging her tightly and stroking her hair, she broke away from the embrace and placed her hands on the freckled girl's shoulders. "Listen to me. I'm only going to be gone for a few months. It's not like I'm going ot my execution. I promise to call you every day, no matter how busy, how stressed, or how tired I am. And I'll be bringing a whole suitcase back just with European fashion only for you," she giggled at the last part, pinching her tiny nose lovingly.

Anna laughed. "Okay. Don't worry about me. I'll be okay. I got this crazy snowman and mountain man to keep me company," she nudged her boyfriend teasingly.

Elsa smiled just as the intercom stated boringly for her part of the fight be boarded now. "Alright. I better board now. I'll miss you guys," she grouped them all into one large hug quickly and strolled away quickly before her heart did something stupid.

"Bye guys!" Olaf exclaimed. He had to rush to a taxi to take him to work. "See ya! And don't forget about Tuesday game night!"

Anna waved goodbye enthusiastically while Kristoff closed the cab door. "Bye!" they replied, Kristoff wrapping his arm around Anna casually.

Sighing, the two walked down the busy airport towards the empty part where planes took off and landed. "And then there were two," Kristoff spoke with a sigh, smiling down at his love.

"Looks like it," Anna responded, wrapping her tiny arm around her muscular waist. "What do you wanna do?"

"Anna," Kristoff started, his voice becoming shaky. "I have to tell you something," he stopped them in the vacant, huge lot.

"What?" Anna asked, completely oblivious, as usual.

"I just..oh crap. This sounded a lot better in my head. Um.. I don't know how to say this...," Kristoff stuttered, getting more nervous the more he chattered on.

"Kristoff," Anna softly interrupted, taking his face in her hands. "It's just me," she smiled and kissed him.

Kristoff relaxed into her lips. "Just marry me already," he sighed, his mind blurred by her irresistible lips and enchanting aura.

"What?!" Anna exclaimed, trying to hid her satisfied smile in case she heard his mumble wrong. "Did you just ask me to marry you?"

"Oh gosh...damn it! I was supposed to say this whole romantic speech and everything. It was gonna be really romantic so we could tell our kids and...crap," he stammered, his blush deeper than ever, reaching down his neck and into his shirt.

"Screw it," he sighed, bending down on one knee on the hard cement. It was dirty and it was hard to hear one another due the plethora of planes arriving and vacating the empty lot. "Anna. I love you more than anything, and I don't think I'll ever be able to stop. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and create a beautiful family. I just...Anna. Will you marry me?" he stammered, mentally slapping himself on how silly and awkward the speech and setting really was.

Anna covered her mouth with her hands as happy tears ran down her cheeks. "You mean it?" she mumbled with a ear-to-ear grin.

"God, Anna. Why would I joke about this?" Kristoff smiled, looking up at the beautiful masterpiece that was about to be his permanently. "Of course I mean it. I've never been more serious about anything in my life."

Anna couldn't speak; she was too deliriously in bliss. She nodded vigorously in continuation. Kristoff stood up and embraced her with a languid kiss, only breaking away to place the ring on her shaky finger. "Oh my goodness," she breathed out, running her hands all over Kristoff's upper chest in shock. "I'm engaged. You're engaged. We're getting married!" she exclaimed, her breath unsteady but happy.

"We're getting married," Kristoff repeated, kissing his bride-to-be all over her freckled face. "And I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us."

Little did the lovebirds know, a lonely girl on a plane sat, looking out the dreary window. Her mood was a bit down and a smile refused to cross her mind nor face. Yet, seeing the beautiful couple and the simple and heartfelt proposal, she knew everything was gonna be alright.
