Harry: We're one-third of the way through this regular season, but this is only the first set of games thus far in which American and international teams are venturing onto each other's soils. We'll be bringing to you one of those matches today, from Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan, home of the Detroit Alicorns, who have found new life this season. They'll certainly be needing it, as they will be facing the new breakout Japanese team, the Yokohama Yokai! Thanks for joining us - I'm the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter, and they're Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Ron: Now this may just be the most looked-forward-to match of the year, right here. Rainbbow Dash, Sonic The Hedgehog, arguably THE two fastest Seekers in the league, going at it, right here! What a rivalry this will be - these two are so different, yet so alike. In fact, some fans have even imagined them in a romantic relationship, but I digress - the point is, this is gonna be bloody awesome!
Hermione: Well they're not the only ones packing some heat - the Alicorns have an actual alicorn, as well as a unicorn, in their roster; both of whom are fully capable of using our magic and using it to real destructive effect. Then the Yokai have Amy Rose and that hammer of hers, along with Shadow The Hedgehog, the team's resident gunfighter. Aside from being awesome, this match is just gonna be freakin' chaotic!
Harry: I wouldn't argue against that, Hermione...
...
Amy: (clutches Sonic's hand) Good luck, Sonic. As the British say, I know you're gonna be brilliant!
Sonic: (blushes nervously) Uh... thanks, Amy.
Tails: (cringes)
Rouge: (snickers) Jealous much, Tails?
Sonic: Knock it off, you guys. We have a match to win.
Tails: Alright, then! Let's go Yokai!
...
The Bludgers swiftly fly up and out of sight from the players - the Golden Snitch immediately follows them up and goes its own way. Then the Quaffle is taken to the center of the pitch by the referee, and from there it is tossed straight up into the air.
Harry: And this supersonic match-up is officially underway!
Ron: (singing) I could so supersonic, the problem's chronic-
Hermione: Not now, Ron!
Pinkie Pie rushes to the Quaffle as if she were on a double espresso binge, and quickly sweeps up the Quaffle for the Detroit Alicorns.
Pinkie Pie: Come and get me!
Cream The Rabbit makes a feeble attempt to lunge at Pinkie, but she speeds by before she can even get herself organized. But then new hope for the Yokai presents itself when Amy Rose comes charging at Pinkie Pie with her hammer raised.
Amy: No one screws my little sister over like that!
Pinkie: AAGH!
Amy swings at Pinkie, while she doesn't get a hit, Pinkie Pie is disoriented by how close she came to getting hit, allowing Amy Rose to steal the Quaffle for the Yokai and take it back to the Alicorns' side of the pitch.
Tails: Hit me, I'm open!
With Spike and Fluttershy looking to double-team her, Amy Rose throws the Quaffle over to Tails Prower, who leaves the other team's Chasers behind. As Knuckles The Echidna beats away an incoming Bludger, Tails flies right head-on into the Detroit Alicorns' scoring area;
Harry: And Miles Prower SCORES! That's 10 points to the Yokohama Yokai!
Sonic: (calling out) Great shot, little bro!
Tails: (calling out) Thanks!
GAME BREAK
This Game Break takes place in Portland, Oregon, where the Portland Parselmouths are hosting the Cleveland Cruciatus. The score is currently 0-0. Cindy Vortex has the Quaffle for the Cleveland Cruciatus - that is, until Nelson Muntz suddenly dismounts her by hitting her in the face with a Bludger.
Nelson: HA HA!
The loose Quaffle is then taken by Marge Simpson, who goes on to score easily, earning a 10-0 lead for the Portland Parselmouths.
BACK TO DETROIT
After Tails's goal, which has the Yokai up in an early 10-0 lead, Twilight Sparkle uses her magic powers to levitate the Quaffle back into the playing area, and it is picked up by her #1 assistant, Spike.
Amy: Get that little pipsqueak!
Before Tails can even reach midfield, he suddenly notices that he is being triple-teamed by Tails Prower, Amy Rose and Cream The Rabbit. It seems like they have him trapped, until...
Rarity: Impedimenta!
Harry: And all of a sudden, Yokohama's Chasers can't go forward, and there goes Spike!
Hermione: Yeah, if it weren't for Rarity's Impediment Jinx, Spike would be screwed.
Rarity: Go for it, Spike!
Rarity's Impediment Jinx halts the forward progress of the Yokai's Chasers, allowing Spike to fly by them and go scot-free across the pitch. Applejack knocks away an incoming Bludger as Spike takes it to the Yokohama goal;
Harry: And the shot is good, as Spike ties the match at 10!
Spike: YES! Hey thanks, Rarity!
Rarity: Aw, it was nothing, my little Spikey-wikey!
Rouge: (rolls eyes) Oh, God...
With Spike just managing to get the Quaffle past the arms of Rouge The Bat, he is credited with the goal that gets 10 points for the Detroit Alicorns and ties the match up at 10 points even.
With a disgruntled facepalm, Rouge The Bat tosses the Quaffle over to Cream The Rabbit, and she charges up the pitch with Amy Rose on her left flank, flying support.
Spike immediately makes a hard charge at Cream, fully intent on taking the Quaffle back and scoring back-to-back goals. But then Amy comes at him with her hammer raised...
Spike: OWWW!
Ron: HEAD SHOT! RIGHT IN THE FACE!
Spike gets hammered right in the face by Amy Rose, and has a very difficult time staying on her broom. This gives Cream The Rabbit the opening that she needs to keep on going.
Fluttershy then makes her approach, but she quickly backs off when Shadow The Hedgehog hits a Bludger right at her and forces her to break away. After eluding Pinkie Pie (albeit just barely), Cream The Rabbit makes it into the clear, flying right up to the Alicorns' goal;
Twilight: Protego!
Harry: SAVED by Twilight Sparkle, and she didn't even touch the Quaffle!
Hermione: Yep, that's the Shield Charm. Used not just in dueling, you know...
Cream: (sighs dejectedly)
Just as Cream The Rabbit takes her shot, Twilight Sparkle casts a Shield Charm big enough to block all three hoops, and the Quaffle bounces right off and back into the playing area, thus denying the Yokai their 10 points.
The Quaffle heads right to Fluttershy, and she picks it up and very nervously begins to make her way up the field. As she crosses over onto Yokohama's side of the pitch, she thinks that she just may be in the clear. But then;
Cream: GO CHEESE!
...
Fluttershy: AAAAAAHH...!
Harry: And Cream The Rabbit has just blasted Fluttershy all the way back to the other side of the stadium!
Ron: That pet of hers really kicks arse!
Cream: Heeheehee, sorry, but you gotta do what you gotta do!
On Cream's command, het pet Chao Cheese launches herself like a rocket at Fluttershy, knocking her all the way back to the opposite end of Comerica Park and causing her to leave the Quaffle behind.
Cream: Tails, it's all you!
Cream takes the Quaffle and throws it over to Tails Prower, totally unaware that she has caught the attention of, of all people, the Alicorns' Seeker;
Rainbow Dash: Nobody hurts my little sister!
Harry: And that's a penalty whistle!
Ron: Really, what sort of bloody business would a Seeker have, going after someone like that? I'd expect that from Slytherin, but not from Detroit!
Hermione: I agree. And it'll be Blatching on the Alicorns.
Looking to avenge what happened to Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash flies head-on into Cream The Rabbit, looking to dismount her. But Cream hangs on, and then the action is stopped by the penalty whistle. The referee's call;
Referee: Blatching. Detroit, #20. Penalty shot for Yokohama!
Rainbow Dash: I don't care! I'd rather commit every foul in the rulebook than let ANYONE get away with treating Fluttershy like that!
Ultimately, Rainbow Dash's act of vengeance gets her called for Blatching, and the Yokohama Yokai are awarded a penalty shot. Since Cream is still catching her breath from the blow and since Tails himself already has a goal, he hands the Quaffle over to Amy Rose and lets her take a shot. Amy heads up to the goal and, after a brief staredown with Twilight Sparkle, tosses the Quaffle up and then hits it like a baseball towards the hoops with her hammer;
Harry: Amy Rose SCORES a run - actually a goal! The Yokai take the lead!
GAME BREAK
This Game Break takes place in Marseille, France, where the Marseille Sphinxes are hosting the Columbus Pixies. The score is 80-40, Marseille. Both Seekers are hot on the tail of the Golden Snitch - however, Timmy Turner is a ways behind while Aelita Stones is right on top of it. She looks like she is going to catch the Snitch and win one for the Sphinxes when suddenly...
Cosmo: CRUCIO!
Aelita: AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHH-KAAAAAAAGGGH!
Cosmo appears from out of nowhere and casts a Cruciatus Curse on Aelita, leaving her helpless on her broom as she writhes around on it, feeling levels of pain equivalent to being pierced by a thousand flaming swords simultaneously. While that happens, Timmy Turner goes on to catch the Snitch without even making a wish, and the Columbus Pixies defeat the Marseille Sphinxes 190-80, with the small prices of boos and French obscenities from the hometown crowd.
BACK TO DETROIT
Meanwhile, shortly after Amy Rose's goal;
Harry: Oh, the Alicorns look like they're in trouble now! Sonic The Hedgehog has caught on to the Snitch and is closing rapidly!
Hermione: Yes, but here comes Rainbow Dash! She's catching up fast, and they're about to be side-by-side!
Ron: See, I told you - THIS is what we've all been waiting for in this match, right here!
Sonic The Hedgehog quickly spots the Snitch; using his natural quickness, he very quickly runs it down, looking to catch it for the Yokohama Yokai. But as he runs down the Snitch, Rainbow Dash very quickly catches up to him, determined to not let that happen.
Before long, the two speed demons are running neck-and-neck.
Sonic: You really think you can outrun me?!
Rainbow Dash: Please, I can go at least three times as fast as an SR-71 Blackbird! Like you have any more of a chance!
Sonic: Bring it on then, bitch!
And with that, Sonic and Rainbow unload on each other, relentlessly pushing and shoving, punching and kicking each other, trying to at least rob their opponent of ther momentum to get the upper hand. But as it would so happen, they are both taking away each other's thunder, allowing the Snitch to get away from them. However, the two are too busy fighting each other to notice.
Nor do they notice that they are both being targeted by their opponents' Beaters. As they keep on trading paint, Shadow The Hedgehog takes his double-barreled shotgun in hand, loads it, cocks it, and aims it at Rainbow Dash. At the same time, Rarity's horn begins to glow as she prepares to cast a spell on Sonic;
Rarity: SECTUMSEMPRA!
Shadow: (fires two shotgun blasts)
...
Harry: THE SEEKERS ARE DOWN! THE SEEKERS ARE DOWN! BOTH SEEKERS HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT!
Celestia/Chris: TIMEOUT!
Ron: And both the coaches have called timeout!
Hermione: Oh dear, I hope those two are okay...!
Both Rarity and Shadow score direct hits on the opposing Seekers; Sonic and Rainbow Dash both go falling off their brooms, hitting the ground with a big, collective thud.
This leads Alicorns coach Princess Celestia and Yokai coach Chris Thorndyke to call timeout. The gameplay is stopped as players on both sides tend to their Seekers;
Harry: Uh, well both Seekers have been gravely injured, they are both gushing out unbelievable amounts of blood onto the pitch-
Hermione: Oh, this is making me sick! No seriously, I- (vomits)
Ron: But... then what's going to become of the match?
Applejack: Holy crap, she's been shot!
Pinkie Pie: Somebody do something, she's gonna bleed out!
Amy: SONIC! NOOOOOO!
Tails: C'mon, buddy, give me a sign! Don't die on us, man!
Sonic/Rainbow: (groaning)
As a result of Rarity and Shadow, Sonic and Rainbow Dash are desperately injured, losing large amounts of blood quickly as a result of Rarity's Sectumsempra spell and Shadow's shotgun blasts. When they are sure that they are both still alive, Princess Celestia and Chris Thorndyke meet up with each other.
Chris: What the hell are we gonna do about this?
Celestia: We have no choice. We have to call the match.
Chris: Dammit, I was so looking forward to beating you guys, but not like this!
Celestia: Some other time, perhaps...
With that, the match is called; the Yokohama Yokai have defeated the Detroit Alicorns 20-10.
However, there is no celebration. The Alicorns fans are steaming as they boo, shout expletives and throw trash at the Yokai as they hoist Sonic up off the ground. Amy Rose, however, ignores this as she stares down Rarity, hate and a thirst for revenge flowing through her veins. She's just about to go charging at her with her hammer when;
Chris: What are waiting for, Amy? Let's go!
Amy: Oh, right. Oh, please be okay, Sonic! PLEASE?!
And so Sonic and Rainbow Dash are both rushed to the hospital wing, unaware of what's about to happen there...
