Alright, here is the first of two EXTRA chapters for this story. The story has ended, and now, we are here to listen both current and previous cast, and what has occurred in Hotel Seizon. Hopefully, most, if not all, of the loose ends have been tied together to make the story more understandable. If not, please tell me, so I can personally deal with any confusion of any part of the story in the next and final extra chapter.

I will also answer reviews that I have not replied yet next chapter.

I also apologize for delaying the character sketches

Until then, enjoy these Extras!

The sky was tinted red when the sun rose. A battle in Hotel lasted throughout the night. By the end of it, the prisoners of it were saved. The building is in shambles, smoke rising from the once prestigious establishment.

It is done.

Kazuma and the others were riding in an armored vehicle, heading towards someplace they don't really know. The people who save them were in there with them, too. They sat in silence for a while.

"…Thank you….for everything." Kazuma thanked first.

Liam gave him a smile. "No problem, mes amis!"

"Like, really, thanks so much!" Ryouko exclaimed as Mari.

Kaede was trembling, but seemingly in great relief. "I-I'm so glad t-to leave t-that plac.e.."

Xun sighed. "I'm not."

Lexus groaned. "I'm really tired to deal with your bullsh-t…" She said. "Be glad that you're alive."

"I could be alive and be living well in that hotel, you know." He responded.

"J-Just…drop it, you two." Numi told them.

Mei smiled slightly. "We're…just glad that we were able to save you."

Ryouko frowned a bit. "….Sad for the others though…" She muttered as Masayoshi.

Junko looked at each and one of them. They started to reminisce about the ones who were victims of Monokuma's cruel game. "…We're sorry that we weren't able to help sooner."

Gina averted her gaze over to him. "We still did our best. There's not much we can do about it."

"Still!" Akane suddenly butted in. "If Himitsu hadn't stopped us some time ago, we could have saved about two or three more of you!"

"I can hear you from the driver's seat, Akane!" Paylor said to her loudly….from the driver's seat.

Akane apologized and mumbled as they continued to ride in silence. Soon, they arrived at what seemed like an abandoned IT company building. We got out of the vehicle and looked at each. "So…where are we?" Kazuma inquired.

Paylor got out of his seat and stood by his side. "One of this city's Hope Foundation checkpoints."

"Hope Foundation? Never heard of that." Kazuma replied.

"We didn't know about it when we escaped at first." Gina began. "When we were able to contact them though, they took us in."

Ryouko looked around curiously. "…It's all…destwoyed…" She said sadly.

Mei sighed. "…It was the work…of the first Despair."

"First Depair? There are more?" Lexus questioned. She clicked her tongue. "So this "Despair" went on to cause havoc in the world…dammit."

"It really is a shame, mademoiselle." Liam commented as he went on inside.

"Yo, Liam! Wait up!" Akane called over, rushing up to him.

The others then followed them. The inside of the building was dusty and messed-up, as though it was in a bombing incident. Though some of the walls and pillars seem cracked and destroyed, Paylor assured that the place is still stable and won't be collapsing anytime soon.

Xun folded his arms across his chest. "Now what?"

Junko placed his hands on his hips. "Now we wait."

Eh?

Junko nodded at Gina. "Right, I'll get to it." She said, walking away, soon disappearing.

"I swear, if this is a trap, I will NOT be happy!" Ryouko shouted as Chion.

Akane smiled, placing her hands on her shoulders from behind her playfully. "It's not a trap! Gina's just gonna call HQ."

Kaede heaved a sigh of relief. "O-Oh…g-good then…w-we're going to b-be saved…"

"Numi is really glad to get out of there." Numi stated as she peered out a hole through the building, having a perfect view of what was left of Hotel Seizon.

"Still…" Kazuma began, having an expression that showed that he is deep in thought. "I have many questions I need answered."

Junko looked at him. "…I guess we owe you all a few explanations." He said. He sat down on a fallen pillar on the ground and sat on it. "Alright, proceed."

Kazuma sat down on a fallen pillar opposite of Junko, the others just behind him or sitting on the make-shift chair. "Where should I start?" He asked, looking at his group.

They exchanged gazes at each other. "How about you first explain on how you all survived that elevator crash?" Lexus questioned.

"It was all thanks to Paylor." Gina answered, returning to the group. She showed them what seemed like a radar. "This…well, it was a ghost-seeking radar…"

"G-G-Ghost-seeking?" Kaede stuttered. "A-Are there really g-ghosts in t-this world?"

Gina raised a brow at him. "Ghosts are real. I have met some before…" Kaede became troubled at this, but the Ghosthunter continued. "The radar was for detecting spiritual presences, but Paylor decided to modify it to better serve us in our current situation."

"Which is to detect Monokuma's presence." Paylor finished.

Kazuma nodded, following along. "So how is this related to your escape?"

"Right, I'm getting there." Gina said. "When the elevator rose, we were shocked. The radar started beeping, and it showed a Monokuma on top of the elevator."

"I deduced what it was going to do, so Paylor immediately brought out our protective gear."

"What kind of protective gear did you have with you that can save you all from a rough crash and explosion?" Xun questioned.

Akane grinned as she pointed towards a pin on her jacket. It looks like a small full-body Monokuma. It's red eye subtly glowed, and in its bellybutton area, it had a small, black button. "This is our protective gear!"

Ryouko looked perplexed. "Uh….how did that stupid-looking pin saved you all?" She asked as Lexus.

Paylor smiled at this as he looked at Akane and nodded at her. She chuckled and pushed the button. Instantly, a Monokuma android has taken Akane's place. "Tada!~" The Sharpshooter cheered from within Monokuma.

"Oh my f-cking god, is she in Monokuma?" Lexus questioned.

"Indeed, those Monokuma pins actually activate a protective suit that encases its wearer in the form of Monokuma. It is indestructible, and regulates the oxygen inside, providing ensured safety for the wearer." Paylor explained. He showed a pin on his vest. "With the push of the button, it can protect you in a flash. An amazing invention in this state of the world, oui?"

"That's how we survived the disaster, mes amis." Liam began. "We all activated our suits and dealt with the crash. We fell hard, and some of us have been bruised or went unconscious, but we got out of it alive!" He exclaimed with enthusiasm.

"I see…so that's what happened…." Kazuma muttered. "How did you infiltrate Seizon before, and now?"

Liam smiled. "Just as how we survived the elevator crash. We used the protective gear to disguise ourselves! Very clever, don't you think?"

"Himitsu has a lot of Monokumas around the vicinity of the hotel, and the city it's in. Unfortunately, he can't keep tabs on every single one of them, or keep count of them all. We know he'll be too busy to do so, making sure you guys are well in the hotel, and keeping the "death-game" ongoing."

The others looked at each other in confusion, except Kazuma. "Kuroai, Himitsu…the Ultimate Hacker, and Hotel Seizon's manager aka the one who trapped us there."

Numi seemed distressed. "So…he…is the one who made us kill each other?"

Kazuma nodded. "Ya, he's the one behind our imprisonment."

Lexus growled a bit. "Well then…where is he? I'm gonna kick his ass and make him beg for mercy."

"I am curious on what happened to him when I escaped…." Kazuma said. Only then did the cast remembered that he went through Monokuma's execution.

"B-Before anything else, h-how did you survive?!" Ryouko questioned as Lulu.

Kazuma scratched his head. "Oh…right…" He then went on to explain what happened.

His group took awhile to process. "So you fell to your supposed "death", but didn't die, because Himitsu…wanted you to live?" Xun summarized.

The Detective shrugged. "Apparently. I still don't know why, nor how, but he did."

Junko is deep in thought. He then said quietly, "Himitsu does not really do things on his own." Kazuma looked over at him. Junko looked back. "Can you recall Himitsu saying anything about following another person's directives? Do you remember him saying anything to you about keeping you in close to him?"

At his questions, Kazuma began to remember. He nodded. "Yeah…he said something about keeping my within his grasps. He has stated several times he mostly works under someone, and was following orders."

The others looked confused. "S-So…does that mean…H-Himitsu's orders were to k-keep you alive?"

"I guess so…" Kazuma responded. "I don't know for what reason, but they did it."

They were still confused, but they choose to let it be for now until it is time to search for its answer. They returned to the topic of Himitsu. "So…what happened to him after we escaped?" Numi asked.

"Well, I tried to snipe him down." Akane replied.

Mei added, "W-We didn't plan to kill him, w-we were just going to incapacitate him and take him back with us."

Akane nodded. "Yep, never to kill to him, just knock him out." She said. "But, uh, that kinda failed too?"

"How?" Xun questioned.

"Well…" Akane trailed for a bit. "I was going to shoot a tranquilizer dart at his neck, but then he had a struggle with Kazuma. I went on and shoot, but it only grazed Himitsu's face."

"Good job, Sharpshooter!" Liam cheered with a grin.

Akane had a blank expression at him. "…Was that sarcasm?"

"I am unsure, mademoiselle!" Liam smiled. Akane sighed.

"I went on to load another dart to shoot him properly, but when I aimed, he was nowhere to be found." She said quite sadly. "I guessed that he fled the control room, probably knowing that I was there."

Liam rubbed her back as she sighed. "It's okay. You'll get him next time!"

Kazuma held his chin, thinking. "He's still out there, then…"

"Why do ya think he captured us and kept is in there?" Ryouko inquired as Eleanor. "I mean, I reckon he was following dem orders of his higher-ups."

Gina hummed, looking up. "Probably. I guess since he had some connection with Josephine, and a criminal who has hacked into highly secured digital files, I doubt people with evil intentions would miss the opportunity to pick him up as an ally."

"So those people made him a mastermind, because they know he can do it well?" Lexus said.

"Maybe, but we will never know until we catch him and get him to tell us all that we need to know." Gina replied.

"Still strikes me as peculiar, he's suppose to be in the safe-place Josephine prepared for him." Junko commented.

"Agreed." Paylor joined in.

Kaede asked, "W-Who is Josephine?" They didn't answer, but Kazuma told him. "O-Oh….t-the first one to start Seizon's d-deathgames…"

"And Himitsu was her mole, her companion." Junko stated.

"…And Kin is Himitsu's." I muttered.

Numi heard me. She frowned. "Kin…was helping Himitsu?"

I looked at her and nodded slowly. "…Yeah, Kin was the mole in our group."

Lexus growled a bit. "I can't believe that we had a traitor!"

"Well, we did think Numi was one before." Xun said.

"M-Monokuma lied about it." Numi responded hastily. "Numi would never betray, but…why would Kin? Also…why would Monokuma say that Numi was the mole?"

They were quiet on that. No one is sure why, but Kaede has somewhat of an idea. "U-Uh…well…t-the thing is…" He began. They all turned to look at him. He gulped quietly. "Monokuma…he…went to me the night…Ryou died." He then went on to say that the bear robot seemed "drunk" and was blabbering on how great he was, and that everyone believed that Numi was the mole.

"The…beaw was dwunk?" Ryouko repeated.

Kaede nodded. "I-It really seemed like he was. Anyway, he said in a s-slurry tone that he lied about Numi being the mole. T-The reason why…um, because…uh, that was the result he got from…spinning a wheel out of boredom."

.

.

.

Eh?

"…The f-ck?" That was all Lexus managed to say.

"The bear…chose the fake mole…based on a spin of the wheel…because he was bored?" Xun said.

Even the Hope people where surprised by this. "…Not sure if Himitsu was lazy, or it was a random Monokuma with its own random core." Junko commented.

"Very peculiar, chap." Ryouko said as Shaun. "Okay…so…Numi was chosen by a wheel to mess us about, but why is Kin the real deal?

Gina stepped up. "I assume he is the type to do all that he can for those he loves."

We looked at each other, then Ryouko exclaimed, "Elize!"

Elize?

Ryouko looked at us, shocked. "You guys fowgot alweady? She's Kin's giwlfwiend!"

"O-Oh, the second incentive…" Numi muttered. She must have remembered it now. She let out a soft sigh. "Kin become Himitsu's mole for the sake of Elize, then?"

"A noble gentleman, he is." Paylor commented. He smiled. "And he not need to worry in death. I am sure that he'll be at peace of mind."

"What makes you say that?" Kazuma asked.

Paylor then explained that they have rescued Elize, along with other survivors that made it. "We managed to save all from the second incentive…"

"T-That's good to hear…" Kaede said.

Kazuma was thinking about something. "…When did you save them?"

"Well, I guess it's just a week before we got trapped in the elevator, monsieur." Liam answered.

"Really?" Kazuma responded. "I see…so that explains it…"

"Explains what?" Ryouko inquired curiously.

He looked over at her. "When…Kin was dying, he told me something."

Lexus raised an eyebrow. "And…what did he say?"

Kazuma looked over at Gina and her companions. "...That we were going to be saved by them."

They went quiet for a moment. "Does that mean…Kin was an ally of theirs?" Numi asked.

"More like a double-agent." Kazuma told her. "He helped both sides in their plans, though in the end, he aided them in saving us."

"Now hold on." Xun began. "If Kin told you that they were coming to help, then why did you still bother to save yourself from Execution?"

Kazuma let out a soft sigh. "I didn't mean to not have faith, but I don't want to take risks as well. I was very suspicious of Kin, so I didn't exactly trust him immediately."

"He did alright to doubt it." Junko commented. "I mean, if he did just go on and confessed, we wouldn't have much time to do what we came to do."

Ryouko smiled. "Woopee then!~" She exclaimed.

"And that object…" Kazuma started again. "That strange device…was it from you guys, too?" He asked, looking at their saviors.

Paylor chuckled, nodding. "Indeed, it was." He answered. "It was originally a device to detect heat signatures. Himitsu gave it to Kin when he won the Paintball War." He explained. "But after he joined our side, I modified it and turned it into an EMP disrupter."

"What's that for?" Lexus asked.

Kaede fidgeted, looking at her. "I-It's to temporarily stop all electricity and energy dependent machinery or devices."

"Yes, and I made it that it will only work when it is abruptly destroyed. It'll send out great waves that can cover a wide radius, turning off all cameras and Monokumas in it."

"I see. He destroyed it to turn off the cameras and told me what he needed to say." Kazuma said. He frowned slightly. "Still, for that heat signature device to be given as a prize…that's probably the reason why Himitsu helped Kin win."

"Actually…" Gina started. "He won it on his own." Kazuma just looked at her, confused. She sighed. "During that time, Kin was in possession of one of Kin's Monokuma controller."

Kaede gulped. "Y-You mean to s-say that…during the Paintball War….K-Kin was Monokuma?"

Akane nodded. "Yep, for that whole day."

"But why?" Numi asked.

Liam grinned. "Himitsu was planning to release his captives on a later date, but we managed to rescue them early. He was shook by this and spent some time looking for them, oui."

"So he was away from the Hotel then?" Ryouko as "Ryou" inquired. Paylor nodded. "And that's why Kin was in control that day."

"And why Monokuma and Kin said similar things." Kazuma muttered to himself. He continued to think hard. "…Hmm…I guess the last thing bothering me is the Lulu's note…"

Junko nodded. "That's easy to explain: It's our message to you all."

Lexus raised an eyebrow. "What message? We didn't get any message."

"Well, it was given to her the day before the lockdown and her execution. We told her to wait for awhile before telling you all, but we didn't expect Himitsu to take action so suddenly." Junko said.

Ryouko sighed sadly. "I miss hew…" She looked at Junko. "What did you mean to tell us?"

Junko smiled a bit. "We're alive, and we're coming to get you all. Just be patient."

The Seizon Hotel survivors were quiet for a moment. "Lulu…she must have been eased by this in some way." Numi said quietly.

"Y-Yeah…" Kaede nodded in agreement.

Xun folded his arms across his chest. "I guess…it was good enough."

"Good enough? Dude, we're alive, and out of that sh-thole." Lexus said, heaving a sigh of relief.

"I'm so glad it's ovaaaaaa!" Ryouko exclaimed.

"Me too." Kazuma added in. He looked down on the ground, saying, "And may the others rest in peace…"

"Alright, at least two choppers are closing in. Let's get going to the rooftop." Gina announced.

"There's a helipad on top of this building?" Xun questioned.

Kaede trembled. "O-Oh dear...h-heights…."

Liam smiled as he wrapped his arms around Xun's and Kaede's necks. "Let's get going, mes amis!" He exclaimed as they began to head up.

"Finally, can't wait to get out of here." Akane commented as she dashed ahead.

Ryouko giggled. "Wait fow me~" She chased after her.

"No running." Junko warned.

Numi let out an uneasy laugh. "Hehehe…Numi hopes that we can all rest."

"Of course you will. Hope Foundation tries to give the best care to all those that come to it." Paylor assured her.

"Sleeping places here I come." Lexus said and chuckled, heading off.

Kazuma began to follow them too, but then a hand tugged on his wrinkled jacket's sleeve. He looked back and saw Mei. She was holding a small piece of paper. "Hm? What is it?" He asked softly.

She looked at him, then looked back down. She handed the piece of paper to him. "You…forgot to get this." She said in almost a whisper.

Kazuma tilted his head in confusion for a moment before reading what was on the paper. His eyes widened a bit at the similarity of the handwriting from those notes from the books from earlier.

"There's Hope."

"This…This is the last one to the nine other notes." Kazuma muttered, looking at Mei. "Those books…the author…"

She smiled softly, nodding. "I had…so much spare time. It's kind of sad that you weren't able to make it to the tenth Gathering room."

Kazuma held onto the note tightly. A smile crossed his lips. He looked back at her. "…Thank you…for everything you all have done for us."

"You're welcome." Mei replied. "Now…you can help us help other people in need."

At this, Kazuma nodded. His slacker appearance didn't show it, but he was determined.

And so, he and Mei climbed to the top floor and got into the helicopters. As they were flying away, the image of the burning hotel, and the devastation of the city it's in, was getting smaller and smaller.

Including their fear of what is next after all of this.

It was chaos.

There was blood-spill, and there was trauma.

No one was sure what just happened.

But one thing is for sure…

It's over…for now.

Alright then, all done! Took me a longer time than expected, but there, most of the loose ends tied. This has been one heck of a sequel, but I am proud to be able to write this and finish it (even if it took at least more than two years.)

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed. If you still want to ask questions, – about the story, the characters, or maybe myself – then go ahead and ask. I shall answer them in the next and final EXTRA chapter (which I hope to put out by the end of February.)

Hope to see you all soon!
