At dinner Elsa sat with Candace, Alicia and Jo. She didn't know where Alice and James were, all she knew is that earlier they were at quidditch practice. Although, who knew how long that could go on for.

Skilfully, Elsa moved the food around on her plate so it looked as though she was eating it. She wasn't that hungry, but since she was thin people often assumed the worse. Even though the concern was nice, it was also quite annoying.

"Look what I brought." Candace said as she pulled out a long, blue thing with a tip. Jo seemed to know what it was, but Alicia and Elsa both stared at it. Elsa squinted slightly as she stared at it, trying to figure it out. Nothing came to mind though, what could it be she wondered?

"What's that?" Elsa asked out loud.

"A pen, a balled point pen to be exact."

"What's a pen?" Alicia questioned as she stared at the thing in question. It was sleek, and looked much more portable than quills. Elsa's were all squished in her bag.

"This," Candace boasted as though the girls were stupid. "Is a pen. You've seriously never seen a pen before? They're no mundane!"

"We grew up in the wizarding world, mate." Alicia said as she looked at it in awe and reached out her hand as though she was going to touch it, but quickly retreated.

"I'm a Malfoy, I'm pretty sure if my grandfather found out I owned muggle things I'd be disowned," Shrugging, Elsa brought her water glass up to her mouth and took a sip. It was true, although Lucius had calmed down about muggles, he wasn't fond of them. Which Elsa didn't understand, although Muggles didn't have magic, they were far more advanced than wizards.

"Well, it's like quill except the ink is inside it and it lasts for longer." Explained Candace as she brought out a piece of parchment and drew a flower on it with the pen. All three girls around her were bug eyed and speechless, Candace was happy to make them that way. The little flower was blue, and the strokes were much smaller than they had been with the quill.

"How many did you bring?" Jo demanded as the girls stared at the thing in her hand.

"Ten, would you girls want one?" she asked. All nodded and Elsa went into her bag for a second before pulling out ten stickle and handing it to her. She might as well pay for the thing that Candace had paid for.

"Why thank you Elsa," Candace said as she handed Elsa a light blue pen. Elsa held it in her hand and stared at it before putting it in her bag. She would save that for later use.

"Hello girls!" Alice said as she walked over and sat down next to Elsa. Elsa looked over and saw Alice's face was flushed and she was still wearing her jacket. Alice had obviously just come from outside.

"Hello," Elsa said "how was quidditch try-outs?"

"Well, James got told he was a no good seeker and to try out for a beater, he wasn't happy about it but he did and he got onto the team!" Alice said. "He's mad though that they told him he can't seek." Elsa nodded, James had really wanted to be a seeker.

"I knew he couldn't," Elsa said bluntly. Might as well just get it out in the air.

"Elsa!" Alice gasped, "that's mean!"

"It's the truth, Alice," Elsa said with a shrug. "You know it too, don't try and pretend you don't."

"Alice!" Candace interrupted as she wanted the conversation to be over. It could have gotten ugly, quickly. "I have a question for you."

"Yes?" Alice said as she looked at her expectantly.

"Do you like anyone?" she asked with genuine curiosity. Elsa looked at her friend, happy for an excuse not to eat. Alice looked down and blushed.

"No." said she.

"Liar!" Alicia said as she gasped and leaned over the table. "who is it?"

Elsa knew this was mean to ambush Alice like this, but she called her mean. Besides, Elsa was mildly curious, and it wasn't as though she was participating. Right?

"It's a secret," Alice responded as she placed corn in her mouth, her face blazing red. A colour that could easily rival a Weasley's hair.

"Mhm," Jo said with a small smile.

"I have homework." Elsa said with a chuckle before walking off only to head outside instead of towards the dormitories.

She walked down the halls to the courtyard and went and sat down on the bench.

"Elsa?" she heard someone say. She looked over to see Leo walking over to her.

"Hi Leo," Elsa said with a smile and patted the ground next to her.

It was twilight, and the siblings felt content sitting next to eachother.

Elsa looked up at the sky but frowned as she saw that the clouds covered it so the colours weren't showing through, the clouds were just becoming darker.

"Why doesn't Scorpius talk to me?" Leo asked as he looked over at Elsa. Sighing, Elsa contemplated an answer. She didn't want Leo to know there was a lot of house prejudice still even though Bay was friendly with them, but if she told him Scorpius was just an ass he might get mad.

"He doesn't talk to me either, don't take it personally." Elsa said finally. Leo nodded, accepting her answer.

"I wish he liked us." Leo sadly said with a frown on his face.

"Of course he likes us, we're his siblings. He isn't allowed not to like us," Elsa said then stood up. "I'll walk you to your common room." She said. Leo nodded and they started off into the castle.

The two walked in silence. Even though they were walking together, Elsa had never been to the Gryffindor common room so she relied on Leo for direction.

"Can I ask you a question?" Leo said to her. Nodding, Elsa looked at her brother. "Is flying scary? We have our first lesson tomorrow."

"You love being high up in the clouds, you'll love it," Elsa said as she remembered her first time and her freak out. She never wanted to go up again, that was for sure

"Thanks," Leo replied with relief. He was glad it wasn't scary.

Once the two were outside the fat lady Elsa hugged him then walked off to her own common room. She had an essay for muggle studies to do, therefore she needed to get there quickly.

She didn't seem to be luck, because as soon as she was on one of the staircases it moved and she was transferred to a different floor. Elsa's eyes went huge as she realized that she was not where she wanted to be and quickly started running down the corridor trying to find something familiar.

This was not going to work though as it was getting to dark to see and her wand was in her dorm.

"Ah hello there." She heard someone say. She twisted around to see none other than Nearly Headless Nick, the Gryffindor Ghost.

"Hello," Elsa said as she looked at the ghost quizzically.

"What are you doing up past curfew?" he asked.

"Well… I was on my way back from the Gryffindor common room, my younger brother is a Gryffindor you see, and one of the staircases changed and I got lost," Elsa explained to the ghost. He nodded and thought for a second before motioning for Elsa to follow him.

"I will take you where you need to go, where is your common room?" He asked.

"By the kitchens, I'm a Hufflepuff." Nearly Headless Nick nodded and floated off with Elsa following him.

She noted that the castle was a lot scarier in the dark, and kept close to the ghost. Of course, considering he was transparent it was hard to see him.

Elsa didn't like this, the fact that even though she was out past curfew with a ghost. What would he say if Filch caught them? What would she say?

"Here you go!" he said pleasantly and Elsa got brought from her thoughts when she realized that they were in front of her common room.

"Thank you so much." Elsa said with a smile. Nick nodded and tipped his head then floated away. Elsa then tapped the password then walked into the common room where Alice sat.

"Where were you! I was worried sick!" Alice stated as she ran over to Elsa and hugged her.

"I went outside and was talking to Leo." Explained Elsa as she took a seat on one of the black beanbags that sat on the floor. Alice sat beside her.

"Did he mention Maggie?" she asked curiously.

"No… why would he?" asked Elsa in confusion.

"I think they'd be a cute couple is all." She explained nonchalantly. Elsa stared at Alice, Leo was five. He wasn't allowed to date, nope. Not ever.

"Ah," Elsa said passively, not letting any of her inner freak out to appear on her face or in her voice. "he's never mentioned her."

"Drat," Alice said with a sigh. "Well, I'm going to bed! Are you coming?"

"Nah, I need to work on my essay." Explained Elsa. Alice shrugged and walked to their common room.

Elsa sat down at a table and pulled out her book and parchment.

"Muggles need to learn magic," Elsa shook her head at how silly muggles seemed. They had 'Electricity' instead of magic. She noticed though that it helped their 'televisions' that Candace had told her about run.

Finally, after Elsa was finished she placed the essay in her text book and started off to her dorm. Once inside she noticed that everyone was asleep. She quickly changed into her pyjamas and laid down on her bed and let herself fall into sleep.
