I wrote this pretty quickly, in about half an hour to forty-five minutes, so sorry if it has a lot of errors!

I don't own Fairy Tail.

"I just, I don't understand how that was possible, Asuka-chan," Romeo admitted as they walked from the gym to the from doors of the school.

"Asuka tol' you, Womeo-nii!" groaned Asuka. "Wiam-kun twied to ask out Asuka, so she shot her gun at him and he went fwying!"

"That's the thing, Asuka-chan..." Romeo scratched the back of his neck. "Liam's twice your size."

"So?" Asuka asked. "Wendy-nee's done it befow."

Wendy beamed at the small girl and said, "You've been hanging out with Carla and the others, huh?"

Asuka nodded. "Asuka wuvs Kitty the most! But he says his name is Panderwiwy! Isn't that funny?"

Both Romeo and Wendy laughed lightly. Romeo ruffled her hair. "Yes, it is, Asuka-chan."

West and Chelia cooed at the sight before them, disrupting the calm aura that surrounded the Fairy Tail guild members.

"How cute!" squealed Chelia. "You two are so loving!"

"You're almost like a family," West agreed.

Asuka giggled. "Wendy-nee and Womeo-nii aw too young! But Auntie Miwa says Asuka only has to wait six mow yeas and then Wendy-nee and Womeo-nii will have kids just wike Asuka!"

"Asuka-chan!" Wendy said, admonished.

"Don't listen to Mira-nee," Romeo advised. "She thinks about all the couples in the guild way too much. She's convinced that Max-nii and the broom in the storage closet have a thing."

But they do, Wendy thought. I saw it with my own eyes.

I remember Wendy's birthday, Chelia recalled. Wasn't he the one who shoved the broom up his butt and then fell asleep right after?

"So where's Laxus-nii?" Romeo asked. "Is he gonna walk with us to the meeting?

"Un'le Waxus tol' Asuka to go without him," answered said little girl. "He said he had somethin' to do with Un'le Nassu and Gajeel."

"Like what?"

In the basement of the school, five Dragon Slayers all stood with identical smirks on their faces. With them in the room were a crowd of many boys and girls, along with three other young men.

"Those of you who want to ask Chelia-chan shall follow us," said a very handsome blond man, gesturing to his to partners, a short snow mage and a tall, tan man. "If you want to ask out Wendy-chan, you will stay with the others."

Half the group followed Hibiki and the others. The rest opted to stay with the Dragon Slayers. A chilling aura began to fill the room as the five men began to stare the children down.

"Tch," scoffed Gajeel. "You weren't lying when you said there were a lot of them."

Laxus shrugged. "By the time we're done, there won't be more than ten left."

Laxus, Gajeel, Natsu, Sting, and Rogue made eye contact before each of them nodded.

Rogue cleared his throat and stepped forward, "We have a few questions to ask, so if you'd all please—"

"CAN YOU FIGHT? FIGHT ME. IF YOU WIN YOU CAN ASK WENDY OUT."

"Are you the kind of person who is unfaithful?"

"I SAID FIGHT ME! IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT THEN YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR WENDY."

"WHAT ARE YOUR LIFE GOALS?"

"Alright, so if the kid is injured in a fight and somethin's towards her, do you run away or protect her?"

"State the name of every S-Class mage in Fiore."

"When's Wendy's birthday? How tall is she? How much does she weight? What's her favorite color?"

"YOU CALL THAT FIRE MAGIC? IT TASTE LIKE GAJEEL."

"HOW THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW WHAT I TASTE LIKE?"

"We also want your full name and address, for our records."

"WHICH ONE OF US IS WENDY'S FAVORITE? IT'S ME, RIGHT?"

"In your dreams, Blond Salamander."

"HE IS NOT THE BLOND VERSION OF ME STOP CALLING HIM THAT."

"How many digits of pi can you name? Only seventeen? Sorry the required amount is at least twenty-five."

"In battle, who protects who? Do you keep Wendy safe or does she keep you safe?"

"If Levy's reading and Natsu's drinking soda mixed with alcohol, how many healing spells will Wendy need to do and why?"

Five minutes later, the room was cleared, save for the poor souls who fainted from the intense questioning.

"That's all of them," Laxus said as he threw the last kid out of the room.

"My, Laxus-kun, I didn't expect all of you to finish so quickly," Hibiki commented, walking in with his fellow Trimens.

"I could say the same for you," replied Laxus.

Ren scoffed, "All I did was say they had to look me in the eye and they'd get my approval. It's nothing big."

"It is when you're over six feet tall and give them the evil eye the whole time," Eve reminded.

"You can be pretty scary when you want to be, Ren," Hibiki commented.

"Either way, we've weeded out all the weak ones," Ren said with a roll of his eyes. "There's nobody brave enough to ask out Wendy or Chelia, anyways."

Rogue smiled. "I wouldn't say that..."

"That's illegal, West," Haru replied when he heard the blond's suggestion.

"It's not if we return the penguin before the store opens," West pointed out.

"We'd still have to rearrange the pipes and burn down three trees," Romeo sighed. "Something else."

Chelia, Wendy, and Asuka were a good distance in front of the boys. The two sky mages were moving the air currents around, causing Asuka to float in the wind.

"Hiya, Wendy-nee and Chewia-nee!" giggled Asuka.

"Okay, what if you use your magic?" West offered.

"How?" asked Romeo. "Fire and water are complete opposites."

"Exactly," West replied with a grin. "They're opposites. Think of the possibilities. You could make some kind of intricate performance and have the water and fire move around each other."

"The only color in my Rainbow Fire that could move like that is the purple flame, and it's also the one I'm the weakest at." Romeo glanced in front of him. "We'll talk about this later. Thanks for the help though, West."

They finally arrived at the meeting spot, a community center in downtown Hargeon. The building radiated with magical aura. Briefly, they all realized that contained in the room were the best mages in Fiore, and that the best mages in Fiore were their comrades.

"Oh, you're finally here!" said Mirajane when they walked in. "Asu-chan!"

"Auntie Miwa!" cheered Asuka, running over to hug the barmaid.

"How was school?"

"Fun. On the way here, Wendy-nee and Chewia-nee made Asuka fwy!"

"They did?" Mirajane smiled when Asuka nodded. "Go on inside. I'll take care of Asu-chan for now."

The children thanked her and went into the main room. Four long tables were set in columns. The most populated one was the Fairy Tail one, with nearly half the guild being there, unlike Sabertooth's, which was completely empty.

"Please take a seat at your guild's table," said Freed. "I apologize for being so segregated. The guild master's feel that that would be the best way to avoid conflict."

West and Haru glanced at their guild's table. A bead of sweat formed on West's temple before he shrugged and pulled Haru to the far left side of the room.

"Look for us after the meeting!" he called.

After everyone found their seats, Makarov stepped into the podium. Behind him stood Bob and Ooba, who wore a scowl on her wrinkled face.

Makarov opened his mouth and spoke, "Thank you all for being here today. We are here to discuss more on how we will progress the current situation within the school.

"We have been under this operation for around three months and, while there has been progress, it's not nearly enough to make up for the lack of missions our guilds have gotten. It has gone down so much, in fact, that Master Ooba of Lamia Scale has opted to pull her guild out of the alliance."

An audible gasp was heard, though it was especially loudest from the Lamia Scale table. Toby let out a loud wail, while Chelia's cheeks flushed red at the stares they were getting.

"However, we have managed to convince her refrain from doing such," continued Makarov, who was met with a sigh of relief from the others. "As most of you already know, we've greatly lessened the amount of investigation at the school, such as removing the morning and night searches and school guarding. This, however, is not enough.

"Master Bob, Ooba, Sting, and I have come to the agreement that we are going to lower the amount of members we have on this mission. In the Oracion Seis mission, we had no more than twelve heavily capable mages on that, and it was over within a week. While we certainly have less information on the current enemy than we did on the previous one, it is still no excuse to waste such valuable resources on something that may not be a threat in the end.

"The following people will remain on the mission: from Lamia Scale, Lyon Vastia, and from Fairy Tail: Warren Rocko, Levy McGarden, Crime Sorciere, and the Thunder God Tribe. These people are currently not here right now but have already been informed that they will still be on the mission: from Blue Pegasus, Hibiki Lates, and the Dragon Slayers: Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth as well as Natsu Dragneel, Laxus Dreyar and Gajeel Redfox, all from Fairy Tail."

Makarov shot a smirk at Ooba, who immediately yelled, "Stop bragging about your damn Dragon Slayers! Lamia Scale has a God Slayer and a member of the Ten Wizards Saints!"

"But," Makarov said, "Fairy Tail has four Dragon Slayers, a former member of the Element Four, two Ten Wizard Saints, as well as two contenders of that title. So ha!"

"Lamia Scale has higher standards than Fairy Tail! All someone has to do is ask to get in and that's it!"

"Sorry, I can't hear you over the last Grand Magic Games, which we won, despite being inactive for seven years!"

"We could have won that if we really tried!"

"Are you sure about that, Third Place?"

The room was quickly cleared as younger mages recalled the outcome of the last fight the guild masters had. Elfman ruffed his arm, remembering the bruise he got when a chair was thrown down from the second floor.

Romeo, Chelia, West, Haru, and Wendy chatted in the front hall for a little while until Rogue, who had just arrived, called Haru and Romeo over.

"It's nothing big," he had said with a gentle smile. He led them down the hallway until they reached a dead end. "Haru, go in that room while me and Romeo go in this one."

Haru shot Rogue a wary glance before nodding. Rogue-san is nice. He wouldn't lead me to something bad. He walked in.

"Welcome, Haru-kun," said a voice. "We have some matters we'd like to discuss."

"First thing's first: what color is your underwear?"

"Huh?"

Romeo followed Rogue into the room. Inside were the Dragon Slayers all seated at a long table, making it look somewhat like a business meeting.

"Hi!" Romeo greeted. None of the Dragon Slayers returned his smile except for Natsu. "So, ano, what do you guys want?"

Laxus cleared his throat. "I heard you talking to Nara earlier. You want to ask Wendy to the dance, don't you?"

"I don't—I just—I mean—" Romeo sputtered.

"No use in denyin' it," Gajeel said. "According to Salamander, you're the only guy we can trust to go out with the kid."

"And from what we see, Natsu-san is right," added Sting. "But we're not 100% sure, so we're going to ask you a few questions to see if you're the correct person Wendy should go out with."

"Hai," Romeo said. "Bring it on!"

A flurry of questions followed, and Romeo couldn't tell which question came from which person.

"Full name, height, weight, magic type."

"Romeo Macao Conbolt, five feet, 112 pounds, Rainbow Fire."

"Do you bathe in the morning or the night?"

"Night."

"DO YOU PREFER HOT OR SPICY?"

"Those are the same things?"

"HOW MUCH DO YOU LIFT?"

"80 pounds."

"If Wendy has a booger in her nose do you tell her or do you let her walk around with it dangling all day?"

"Tell her."

"WHAT ARE YOUR LIFE GOALS?"

"To become an S-Class mage before I turn twenty-five!"

"WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU GROW AND WENDY STAYS THE SAME HEIGHT FOREVER? SHE'S NOT EVEN FIVE FEET TALL, YOU KNOW."

"It wouldn't really matter to me. I think it's kind of cute, anyways."

"When's Wendy's birthday? How tall is she? How much does she weight? What's her favorite color?"

"August 1, four feet seven inches, 70 pounds, and blue."

"In battle, who protects who? Do you keep Wendy safe or does she keep you safe?"

"We protect each other."

"Have you ever shit your pants?"

"Yeah, when I was like seven..."

"If Levy's reading and Natsu's drinking soda mixed with alcohol, how many healing spells will Wendy need to do and why?"

"Three because the drink makes Natsu-nii hyper, and if Natsu-niis hyper then he'll want to fight Gray-nii, and then they'll make it a huge battle, and if Levy-nee is reading then she'll get caught in the crossfire and that will make Gajeel-nii want to hurt them both."

Laxus smiled. "Good job. We just have one last request."

"Okay."

Natsu got up from his chair and took a dueling stance. "Fight me."

"What?"

"Fight me. If you win, you'll prove your good enough for Wendy."

Romeo smiled. "I've been wanting to do this for so long!"

The fight was over within a second. Natsu didn't even need his magic to defeat Romeo. "Alright, so—"

"O-one more time!" Romeo barely managed to get out as he lifted himself off the floor.

"You don't ha—"

"You s-said that to ask out W-wendy-chan I have to defeat you, r-right?" Romeo asked.

"Yeah, but—"

"S-so I need to win, f-for Wendy-ch-chan's sake." Romeo stood up at last and went into a fight stance. "L-let's go, Natsu-nii."

"You already got our approval, dumbass," Gajeel said.

"I did?"

"You had it the moment you agreed to answer all those questions," Sting said. "All the other kids we interviewed either passed out or ran away."

"So Natsu was right," Laxus stated. "You can ask out Wendy."

"Thank you!" cried Romeo. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you—"

"You don't have to thank us," Natsu said. "Just promise to make Wendy happy, okay?"

"You act like they're getting married," Gajeel scoffed. "But he's right. If you make the kid sad in any way, we are all 100% willing to beat the fucking shit out of you, got it?"

Romeo nodded. "I do."

"I wonder how Haru's doing..." Rogue wondered aloud.

In the next room, the Trimen were all cuddling said navy haired boy. All three of them had tears streaming down their cheeks.

"YOU'RE SO SWEET, HARU-KUN!"

"I DIDN'T KNOW YOU FELT THAT WAY ABOUT CHELIA-CHAN!"

"If you want, I can give you some advice on how to make her feel really good, if you know what I—"

Ren was cut off by the sound of a door slamming shut. "He left."

Extras:

Haru walked in.

"Welcome, Haru-kun," said a voice. "We have some matters we'd like to discuss."

"First thing's first, I'm the realest."

Haru walked in. In the center of the room sat an incredibly handsome blond male. Surrounding him was an alluringly mysterious tall man, two twins with red hair and devilish faces, a bespectacled teen with a calculating look, and—was that a five year old?

"Welcome to the Ouran Host Club."

"Wha—?"

"Handsome, tall, muscular," said the one with glasses as he examined Haru. "The navy blue hair might clash a bit with us, but all in all he should fit very well."

"Then it's settled," stated the handsome blond. "Starting today, you're a host!"

"I'm a what?" Haru said, when he was cut off by a loud sound.

KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE.

I tried to be funny and it didn't work.

I remember reading somewhere that Chelia was pretty close with Ren, so I feel like, despite being a tsundere, he'd be pretty protective of Chelia, and he'd probably loop Hibiki and Eve into his schemes to make sure nobody unworthy asks her out.

The next chapter will be all of Romeo and Haru's (failed) attempts to ask out Wendy and Chelia.
