"I can't believe this". Snow shook her head. "All those years I spent believing I was the reason my mother was dead. When I found out that she was alive, she told me that it wasn't my fault, I assumed she was just trying to be nice, and comfort me. I had no idea, I had been played. All so that you…So that you, could be queen". Snow announced becoming angry. "And look what that led to".
Regina was about to respond but was interrupted by Mulan.
"Excuse me. I would like you to invite you all to a meal"
"Thank-you. We have to decline. We need to get back home to our family". Snow politely added, thinking about Charming and how he must be feeling right now.
"Non-sense" Regina argued. "While you may be able to wait until we return to Storybrooke to eat, Emma needs food. We don't know how long we was passed out".
"Hold on a second". Mulan interrupted. "You can't leave, it would be suicide. You're safe here, if you leave we will not be able to protect you".
"Protect us from what?" Snow asked, becoming worried.
"The forests is infected with ogres". Mulan informed them. "If you leave, you risk running into them, and you know-"
"I have encountered them before. I know how to protect us". Snow responded.
"I'm sorry, I can't allow you to go alone. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if you were to get hurt". Mulan answered honestly.
"I'll go". They heard a voice from behind them say.
Even though it's been more than ten years, Snow still recognized the voice. "Lancelot!" She yelled as she ran over to give him a hug.
"Hello Snow". He hugged her back. "It's been too long".
"To long. I want to introduce you to my daughter, Emma". Snow pulled him over to where Emma stood holding Regina's hand.
"Hello Emma". Lancelot bent down to Emma's level. "You know, I have known your mother for a very long time".
Emma smiled and nodded. "Hello". She greeted back, just to be polite.
"So, we can take a horse?" Snow asked.
Mulan nodded. "Yes, but only one, I'm sorry, but we only have 3, you understand right"
"That's all we will need". Snow answered. "We appreciate it, more than you know"
Regina wished she could just teleport them all, it would be a lot faster than traveling by foot, or horse. "We are not going anywhere until Emma has eaten".
Lancelot smiled. "You seem like a really nice Mother".
"I seem like a nice Mother?" Regina repeated, glaring at the man. She did not remember telling the Man she was a mother.
"Come on Regina, let's eat so that we can get back to Storybrooke, I know charming is worried sick".
Regina rolled her eyes, of course Snow would only be thinking about returning to her "Charming".
"Very well, come along dear". She held Emma's hand as the small of group of people walked into the small hut.
Emma looked in disgust at all the food that was laid out upon the table. "Mommy, this looks nasty".
"You should teach that child some manners". Lancelot added.
"Excuse me?" Regina glared at the large man. "Watch your tongue, do not speak of my child in that manner".
"Regina, it's alright. Lancelot's right. Emma that is not polite sweetie. You can offend someone by insulting their food. Please apologize".
"I'm sorry". Emma pouted. "Mom" she addressed Regina. "Do I have to eat this, can't I just eat my candy instead?"
"No, you may not Emma". Snow interrupted. "Eat what's in front of you, please. You may like it".
"But Mommy". Emma whined. "Most of it has eyeballs".
"Emma, enough!" Snow yelled. Snow wanted to hurry up and get back to Charming. She didn't mean to get tough with her daughter, but if they didn't leave soon, they would have to wait until the next morning, and Snow did not want to do that.
Emma gasped, her mother never yelled at her like that, in the three and a half weeks that she has known her. Emma stood from her seat and crawled into Regina's lap and cried.
Snow sighed. "Emma, sweetie, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you".
"A little bit of tough parenting does a child good, I applaud you Snow". Lancelot added.
"What did I just say? Stay out of this". Regina demanded from the man.
"I'm just helping, I want Emma to grow up to be a true princess, not a spoiled brat". Lancelot spoke.
"Hey". Snow finally spoke up. "Don't talk about my daughter like that".
Lancelot laughed. "The evil queen and snow white teaming up, who would have thought?"
"The evil Queen?" Mulan spoke up for the first time, reminding everyone that she was in the room. "You're the evil Queen?" Mulan asked Regina. "You're wanted for execution, Guards!" Mulan called out and three guys in armor rushed into the room. "She's the evil Queen. She's the reason we are all trapped here, and away from out family, get her!".
Regina chuckled at the sight in front of her. Snow was trying to get Mulan to call off the guards, Regina was surprised. Lancelot, just sat there grinning, and the guards were rushing towards her. For a moment she thought she would have some fun with these guys, but she remembered that Emma was in her lap when she felt a strong amount of magic coming from her lap, and it wasn't her magic. It was light magic. It spread across the whole cabin knocking the guards out, along with Lancelot, who Regina was not surprised to see turned into Cora, and finally Mulan. Emma, Snow and herself remained unharmed.
"What just happened?" Snow asked looking down at the guards and Cora. "Is that your mother, I should have known, Lancelot was acting…different".
"Yes, that's my mother. She has magic, we need to get out of here before she wakes up".
"Mom, I'm scared. I want to go home". Emma whispered.
Regina stood up and picked her up. "Snow, let's go now".
Snow grabbed Mulan's swords, so that she was armed. When they exited the cabin Snow noticed that everyone outside was asleep as well. "Regina….What did you do?"
Regina looked at Emma, and noticed that she was now asleep. Regina was happy that she was. "That was not me".
"You're saying Cora did it?" Snow asked in disbelief.
"No, I'm not. It wasn't me, and it wasn't my Mother. It was Emma".
Snow gasped. "Emma has magic?"
"Yes!" Regina replied becoming annoyed. She hated Snow White. She also hated how Snow White pretended like everything was okay. If it wasn't for Emma, Regina would kill her. "Go get us two horses. I was hoping to just teleport us there when we was alone, but Emma used a lot of magic to save us, and using magic on her right now is a bad idea. I don't want her to get hurt". Regina admitted.
"Right, I will be right back" Snow added as she walked away.
