Flashback in the Azuchi–Momoyama period

"Kill her...kill her," A voice continued to whisper in the girl's ear as she was eating at the table, with chop sticks and eating a bowl of rice, a bandage still over the right side of her face. She looked at towards the window and noticed the rain.

The girl was breathing heavily as she dropped her chopsticks again.

Her mother smiled and gave them to her.

"Kill her...kill her. That child will be nothing but disaster to us, it will destroy everything."

"I will not hurt my Okaa-San." The girl mumbled as her dark purple eye glared at her father, her shadow grew longer as it formed into a hand, stretching out at the father's shadow when...

The mother gasped, holding her stomach. She paled and broke into a cold sweat. There was liquid that flowed onto the floor.

"It's time, it's time! Get the Midwife now ! My son will be here!" The father shouted in excitement as the maids grabbed the mother and pulled her away into a room. The girl started at the fliud on the ground, she tilted her head, and she turned her head at her father's katana.

Hours went by as the storm continued to rage on, the mother was screaming and the father just paced back and forth. The girl had this strange smile on her face as she heard the crying.

The midwife walked up to the father and whispered something in his ears...he quickly walked in. The girl slowly walks into the room.

"I was promised a son...where is my son?" The father storms off, "Nothing but a bunch of worthless girls."

She tilted her head again, popping her neck as she walked right behind her father, her shadow changed into a hand, hovering over the head of her father's shadow. The girl crossed her arms like a mummy as a hole appeared just as the father was about to walk into it.

"My Lady." A man with raven haired and green eyes appeared, the girl's eyes turned back to lavender as she turned around to the maid, the hole disappeared just as the father was about to walk into it, "My my, you look just like your mother, in fact Your mother will like to show you, your new baby sister."

"Ok." Chihiro just smiled and skipped down towards the Maid.

"Mitsuko, I know what I saw," The Man talked to the mother, the Midwifewas a woman with blue eyes and blonde hair, "She crossed her arms, she would have killed your husband if I didn't act when I did.

"You must let us end this, she has been chosen by the Unnamed one, I sense that her darkness is growing stronger. She is the key."

"Shiro of the Chikyū Clan (the man) and Noriko of the Aisu clan, after the war with the Unnamed one, so many of my clan...my family is dead...Light is fading...now you asked me to kill one of the only members left who could continue the legacy of my clan and my child...my precious Chihiro."

"You are blessed with another one, now this child, I've never seen such light, in fact, I have a bad feeling she will be in danger...and you...you...I don't know what will become of you."

"No, it's easy for you two to speak, you didn't watch as your family was devoured by the darkness, losing so many- Your clans flourish, Shiro, your sons, they're power and strength are remarkable and Noriko, your clan is great with their abilities of ice-"

"Hikari clan," Noriko interrupted her, "I beg you, if you don't stop this, then I fear future generations will suffer, I can sense it and honestly the Unnamed one has been talking to her, her darkness is that strong that she can drew it from its prison in the Abyss, temporarily but still...it's too much...too much is at stake. She will try to kill the baby. It's not just that...our clans are endangered as well. The other clans are dwindling as well...we can't afford to wait."

Shiro stood up, "I'm so sorry for this, my wife just gave birth to a girl, I love that girl with every fiber of my being, but you must understand, she was going to kill your husband...her own father...if you don't do it, then I must. Before she realizes her true strength."

The mother sat there for a minute, and nodded with a sob, "No...you don't understand...it's not Chihiro. She does have darkness, but...it's not a dangerous sort of darkness, more of a necessary sort of thing. It's the other one...she's the key...and I've already taken steps...to do what must be done."

Normal POV

Him gulped as he felt that growing cold energy standing right behind him, he automatically turned and bowed.

"I'm surrounded by fools, you can't even destroy a simple child!" The figure (Insidious) growled with absoulte rage, "It was the Hikari clan that imprisoned me, The Aisu clan that frozen my exit, and the good old Chikyū clan with their strength that knocked me in here...not to mention the Clan of Time, Sound and Metal...but the Hikari Clan...my opposite and now the last descendant, her light-"

"Please...please calm down, the other clans were no problem," Him gulped again as the figure looked down at him, "But also remember, that same clan gave birth to your key...and Buttercup, her blood...she is from that clan...she is...she'll be yours in no time...we just need to keep sending monsters to her to make her hunger unbearable. Just think a member of the-"

Insidious started laughing all of a sudden, in fact, its laughter was psychotic, "Oh no...you think I want her curse...Oh Him...you fail to grasp it all. I don't need her as the Leech, I just need her to fulfill the task...for the keys to be brought to me, oh yes...but first...there's something that has to be done...I need you to send some meals in her direction...My Leech must be fed but if not then oh well."

Rex came in and bowed, " Boss, something has been worrying me. It's the Dark chil-"

"You want to know why I wanted her shot in the head...let's just say it is a process and I'll reap the rewards in a minute, we just need to wait at the critical moment. You must remember, I need two keys for my freedom...but it does depend on Buttercup of course."

Him and Rex both looked at each other in confusion.

"You two are hopeless, my plan is weaving itself, one by one my objectives fall into place."

Butch's POV

Buttercup'a grip tightens as she pulls through the crowds of people, already the girls were glaring at her with angry.

"Where the hell are you taking me?" I sighed as I put a sucker in my mouth, suddenly we were behind the curtains of the school's auditorium, hardly anyone was back here.

"I just needed some privacy so I could do this..." She grabs me and puts me into a head lock, "Are you insane? That was the most stupidest...dumbest...and coolest thing you ever done." With that last part she let me go and was looking away with that cute half smile and a peach blush. The bell started to ring.

"I'm just...this isn't going to be easy huh? By now I'm sure the whole school knows." I sighed, this was so embarrassing, it really was, I sighed.

She just looked silently at the ground, she just turned strangely pale all of a sudden, "Will you didn't have to kiss me in front of everyone."

"You kissed me back...anyways I thought it was time that I made it obvious that I like you...a lot. To everyone and to you ok?"

She just sighed, her blushing turned red and...she was getting her color back, "I don't understand you half the time." She was rubbing her neck, " I was thinking...Maybe... After this is all over and this truce of us working together...maybe.."

"Buttercup?"

"I know this is stupid...but it was bothering me..."Her clothes were changing but they looked different instead of just black...there was yellow and even a flower appearing on the right side of her head.

"Buttercup, your clothes?"

"Huh?" She just looked down, her belt was glowing, but her clothes changed back, "What just happened?"

"The same thing happened to Blossom. What were you about to say?"

Her eyes just widened, but she just shook her head, "Oh it's nothing, maybe later, we should get going, or we'll be late."

I felt like being a bad boy right now, I grabbed her wrist, and pulled her into a hug, feeling that spiky shaggy hair, right under my neck.

"Oh *beep* school, I haven't seen you Tiger in six months, can't i just have you to myself for a while." I kissed her forehead and she just pushes away with a smile.

"Don't think just 'cause you kissed me in front of everyone, we're going to start acting all lovey Dovey and gross like those dumb couples who can't spend a minute apart." She frowned but was still blushing that peach again.

"Oh please, don't make me regret that kiss if you really think I would make a fool of myself like that." I crossed my arms, looking at her. She can play the tough act all she wants but I know it was just an act.

"Good, just so we understand each other, Tater Tot." She chuckles, she puts me in a head lock and gives me a nuggie until her belt beeps. She lets me go and pulled out the compact.

"Oh Buttercup, thank goodness, it's Blossom, I don't know what going on at her house but there are flying cars everywhere." The Professor screams in an almost panic.

"We've got this. The green team is back."
