I'm back with another chapter! I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised that a lot more people have read my story than I have ever expected. I know I'm late… No excuses here, was just too lazy to finish it up on time.

Chapter 38: Disqualified?
Grand Magic Games Arena
A loud groan broke the silence in the Fairy Tail booth. After Mirajane and Lucy's fight, the judges and the representatives of the Magic Council had gone into conference to discuss the outcome of their battle. They all knew it was a matter of appeasing the nobles upon them losing bets on the battle. It hadn't been the first time that someone had used mental combat during a battle. The only thing they had to stand on was that they had gone so far, and that it was 'The Vigilante' that had done it. If it had been anyone else that had been involved, it would have passed with flying colors and they would have gotten a pat on the back for a job well done.
Each of the teams were left waiting in their respective booths while they awaited the judgment of the conference. Natsu stood by himself at the edge of their booth, overlooking the arena and the damage that had been done to it. Of course, during the conference a group of mages had been hired to fix the floor so that it was ready for battle once again. The Dragon Slayer looked on, contemplating what it would have been like to have grown up as someone to create and reconstruct rather than destroy and hurt.
He clenched his hand and narrowed his gaze to look out over the crowd. These were the people that he sought to protect for the past years; these were the people that he had sacrificed his sanity for, for all those years. They didn't see it as such; no they saw it as slaughter and wrong. He agreed. It was wrong, but it was necessary.
His eyes settled on the other teams, each of them overly angry at having to wait to head home so they could recuperate for the next challenge. Specifically, three other Dragon Slayers sent deathly glares over at Natsu. It wouldn't be long before he would have to deal with their confrontation. It was obvious, to him, that they had something of a grudge against him. One he knew had more to do with his choice of a love life. But, he would deal with that when the time came. He knew just the way to get her out of her desire for him. He just had to break her idol-like claim on him.
The other two, he could only guess at why they hated him. Maybe it had something to do with his love life as well, or maybe it had something to do with his life up until this point. He couldn't say for sure.
He broke out of his musings when the judges' table filled up once more, the council members taking their places in their own booth just below the judges. After everyone quieted down they called the contestants back to the arena. Natsu gave a small smile to Mirajane and Lucy as they left, noticing that Wendy calmly stepped up to his side. "Think they'll do the right thing?" She asked curiously, threading her fingers into his.
Natsu chuckled and spun her in front of him, wrapping his arm around her middle while still holding her hand tightly, lowering his chin down on top of her head. "I can only hope, but it wouldn't be the first time that my reputation has hindered us. I just hope that they can look past that and look at what we actually did." He was calm on the outside, or at least that was the way it looked to anyone that didn't know him. A mere slight tightening of his jaw and a little narrowing of his eyes were all that showed how angered he was at the entire situation.
Wendy could only hum in acceptance of his comment. She may have known what he had done and why he had done it, but everyone else only knew what he had done because of the rumors and his trial, if you could even call it that.
In The Arena
Each team took up a place, a few yards apart from one another in a semicircle in front of the judges. Everyone stood shoulder to shoulder with their teammate, narrowing their gaze at the judges table. Even Bacchus and Nobarly had made it down, having regained consciousness just a few minutes after their match had ended. Bacchus sent a few confused glances over at Mirajane, but only received a small disarming smile that looked somewhat apologetic. He shook his head and ran a hand through his short hair. Sure he had heard the explanation on how he had actually woken up, but that hadn't quenched his curiosity on their reasoning.
Finally, after everyone had given their full attention to the judge, Toma, the ever present announcer, started his speech. "Due to a testimony from one of our esteemed councilors from the Magic Council, we have reason to believe that there was interference from the competitor's teams in the booths. Under much consideration, had the interference not occurred, the judges and I have come to an understanding that the match would not have ended where it did."
He cast a gaze over the competitors and watched as the announcement made it's way around. Clear anger rolled off of several of the competitors, namely Fairy Tail's B Team, Lamia Scale, and Mermaid Heel. Surprisingly, it was Kagura that spoke up. "Under what circumstances do you find there to be interference? From what I saw, there was no chance of interference. They were in the middle of the arena, and while I admit that it was obvious that Mirajane had asked for a determination on what she should do from her teammate in the booth, in no way did they attempt to enter the field and attack her opponents for her."
Toma nodded and gestured up to the Magic Council's representative. The representative stood and projected his voice with his magic as to assure everyone in the stadium heard him. "Under no circumstance should he have offered his opinion, nor should he have flared his Magical Energy to the extreme lengths that he did."
Bacchus looked confused rather than excited that the news was turning in favor of his Guild. "As much as I like that the ruling is in my favor, I have to disagree. Before Natsu even so much as spoke, I was done for. Mirajane is stronger than I could have hoped to have beaten." He admitted. "She is stronger than I and without my teammate to back me up, I was done for."
"Be that as it may, it does not excuse the fact that they used unnecessary force to take you down. Had they decided it, they could have killed you in your time of weakness." The representative continued in a monotone voice. "It displeases me that you would question our decision after it has already been made." He looked to the other Guilds to gage their reactions and found himself surprised. Raven Tail had no expression, Blue Pegasus looked confused, Sabertooth looked happy, Quatro Cerberus was depressed, and Fairy Tail's A Team merely shook their heads. "Have you nothing to say in your defense, Fairy Tail?" He assumed that they were unquestioning due to knowing that they were in the wrong here.
Lucy shrugged her shoulders. "There is nothing to question, anything we say will not change your ruling. One piece of advice for your next ruling though. Since you deemed this one from interference I cannot complain because you are in your right, but if you claim that we had taken it too far again, then we will have something to say. Under the entry forms that we signed prior to the preliminary rounds… Death is a constant possibility in each of the matches. While it is frowned upon to go that far unless it is in defense of your own life, it is not against the rules to take another's life."
Toma spoke up. "Be that as it may, we will not stand for any such behavior. To take another life during this competition-"
"There is nothing you can do about it unless you change the rules." Cecilia stated calmly. "It is within their rights as competitors to go as far as they please without endangering anyone other than their opponent's life. I do not agree with it, but it is within their rights."
The other judges looked over surprised at the Princess. They knew of Natsu's involvement with The Country of Seven's royalty, but they hadn't expected her to admit that killing was allowed. "We do not want to take that chance though." Mirajane admitted. "Death is a terrible thing to threaten with. No one should take it lightly. We were well within our rights to fight as we did, no matter how unhappy you all are with us. We will not fight you on this ruling, but know that we will be pushing the limits from here on out."
The threat was made and they were giving both the Council and the judges a choice. Either let them fight within their rights, or force them to take extreme measures. It was obvious that their Guild would stand behind their decision. Lucy nudged Mirajane with her elbow and gave a short nod and received one in turn. Mirajane stepped away from Lucy and made a direct line over to Bacchus, a slight frown on her face. He took a step back unconsciously and stared at the hand that she thrust out in front of her. "I would like to apologize for the way that we fought you." Mirajane said pointedly looking down at her hand to tell him that she wanted him to shake it.
Bacchus once again looked surprised and, after shaking himself mentally, reached forward and shook her hand. "I guess I should have expected something like that after I took advantage of the situation to hit on you."
Mirajane smiled enthusiastically. "Oh, no I quite appreciated it. It isn't every day that I get to feel like that. I enjoyed myself, but I'll advise you next time not to try it in front of my husband. He knows nothing will ever come from a little flirting, but he gets jealous when guys look at me." Bacchus smiled happily and nodded. "Though you may want to let go of my hand before he comes down here himself…"
Chuckles around them arose as he snatched his hand away like it was already on fire and cast a quick glance to where he suspected Natsu stood. Toma cleared his breath to draw attention back to himself. "As I was saying. With that in mind, we have points to distribute to teams! During Raven Tail and Lamia Scales battle, Alexi and Nullpudding managed to take Yuka out before Jura entered the fight and took the two down, just what we would expect from one of the Ten Wizard Saints! That grants five points for Raven Tail and ten points for Lamia scale!
"In our second battle, Fairy Tail's B Team took on Blue Pegasus. Erza defeated Eve before Ren could arrive as backup and once Gray joined the fray, the two managed to take Ren down with little difficulty, earning ten points to Fairy Tail and zero for Blue Pegasus.
"The third battle, Sarbertooth's Minerva and Sting took on Mermaid Heel's Kagura and Risley. Kagura held off until Risley arrived and the two took down Sting. Before they could defeat Minerva however, she took down Risley and finally Kagura managed to take down Sabertooth's final fighter! Ten points for Mermaid Heel, and zero for Sabertooth."
Once the cheering settled down, Toma settled onto the final battle, nervous about what he had to announce. Mirajane and Lucy's soft smiles gave him enough confidence. "In our fourth and final battle of the day, we had Quatro Cerberus against Fairy Tail's A Team. Due to outside assistance, we have no choice but to give the win to Quatro Cerberus and grant them ten points while admitting zero for Fairy Tail…"
(A/N: Current laydown of placement and points…)
1. Mermaid Heel – 17 points (5 + 2 + 10)
2. Sabertooth – 16 points (5 + 6 + 5)
3. Fairy Tail B Team – 15 points (-3 + 8 + 10)
4. Lamia Scale – 10 points (-3 + 3 + 10)
5. Fairy Tail A Team – 10 points (5 + 5 + 0)
6. Blue Pegasus – 9 points (5 + 4 + 0)
7. Raven Tail – 9 points (-3 + 7 + 5)
8. Quatro Cerberus – 8 points (-3 + 1 + 10)
(A/N: Back to the action!)
Toma departed for the judges' table while the contestants went to their booths. "We have one more announcement for the day before we let you go for the day. Tomorrow will be a requested battle day. Our spectators will choose the battles. Make sure to fill out the forms on your way out. A few rules before you leave… First, there can be any amount of fighters in the battle. One Guild versus another Guild, though you can choose who fights who. If you want one Mage to fight four others, then so be it. However, no matter the choices, there will be no points awarded for the fights. Remember, after tomorrow, the final day is upon us. You can choose to wear out your least favorite teams, or give your favorite team an edge by giving them a break. Any and all fighters can fight as many times as you wish it. We will take the top ten requested battles. Choose well and fight had."
A few wary glances passed between the Fairy Tail members, knowing that they were going to be hit hard due to their previous actions. Natsu smiled at his wives however and reached the hand that wasn't captured by Wendy's out to them. Lucy took up his hand while Mirajane stepped around him to the other side, both women wrapping an arm around Wendy's front to place their hands on top of Wendy and Natsu's joined hands. "We all know that you two were robbed of your win. But, that's okay. We can show them what we are capable of."
Mirajane smiled devilishly. "Oh I think I quite like that they are making us work for our wins." She giggled to herself. "It'll make it that much better when we win it all."
Natsu chuckled and shook his head. "What do you say we make tonight the first date night?"
"Who goes first?" Lucy asked, perking up excitedly.
"Well, that's up to you three. I need to show each of you what you all mean to me. You choose who and I'll show you why. I want to show you all that I know each of you and that no one could take your places." He explained carefully to them.
City of Crocus
The next few hours passed in a flash for Natsu and Lucy while he took her on their first actual date. Currently the two found themselves siting on a bench in the middle of the shopping district of the exceedingly large town. They had taken it easy as it had been the first time in years that the two had time to simply sit and enjoy one another after having gone out to a light meal and a small shopping spree for her. "You know I would have liked it even if we just went out to eat, right?" She said teasingly, leaning herself up against his side to feel his warmth.
Natsu hummed and wrapped an arm around her waist to pull her closer to his side. "I hope you don't think that was all I had planned for you. It's night even dark out yet…"
Lucy grinned and looked up at him from where she had her head settled on his shoulder. "Oh? And what do you have planned for me? Maybe something a little more… intimate?" She lifted an eyebrow suggestively.
Natsu leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, if it could even be called that. In fact it was barely more than a brushing of lips, then he trailed light kisses to her jaw. By the sharp intake of breath, he knew that he was speeding her pulse up considerably. "As much as I would like to say that this was my intention, no, this is where we stop. My plans to not involve losing our clothes." He pulled back from her and stood up in front of her. "Come on, one more stop before we head to our final destination."
Lucy huffed and took his hand, clearly not happy that he had led her along only to stop. She hooked her arm around Natsu's to his left and walked next to him. "I'm going to get you back for that."
"I would sure hope so. I would hate to get away with something like that. After all, my mates aren't weak women that I can walk all over. I expect you to be able to put me in my place if it calls for it." He directed her over to a shop and stopped in front of it. "Go inside, pick something out and meet me back here in ten minutes."
"Wait, what? Why aren't you coming in with me? You do realize this is a…" She stopped when she realized he was already gone, seeing the pink mop of hair jogging away from her. She glared at the back of his head for a moment and entered the store only to be recognized by the clerk instantly.
A squeal pierced the air. "You're the lady Mage that fought earlier today!" The teenager ran over to Lucy and grabbed her hands. "What you guys did was absolutely amazing! I can't wait for tomorrow to come so I can see the rest of the tournament. It's been a few years since we have had some Mages of your caliber working together to mentally disable the other mages. Everyone always relies on power and doesn't realize how strong the mind is."
Lucy laughed awkwardly and nodded slightly. "That's right, I much prefer fighting with my mind rather than brawn. I coordinate attacks between my spirits and teammates as much as I can."
"Silly me, you aren't here to hear me talk about your fights… You're here to shop. Now, what are you interested in?" The clerk asked, hastily letting go of Lucy's hands to take a step back. "Wait wait wait… let me take a look at you and see if I can find something that will suit your tastes…" The teenager looked the Celestial Mage over a couple of times and nodded before taking off in between the isles to pull a few articles of clothing from the racks. She ran over, grabbed Lucy's hand and dragged her to the dressing rooms, handed her the clothes and shut the door behind the woman.
"You can't really expect me to wear these!" Lucy cried out from inside the dressing room. "They show way too much!"
"Nonsense! You're married now, but that doesn't mean you should let yourself go. No, you should show your husband what he's missing when he isn't with you." The clerk chirped. "Who knows, if things don't work out with him, then showing yourself off might land you another good one."
Lucy groaned, not feeling up to explaining how Dragon Slayers and their mates' love lives progressed. "I assure you, he doesn't need me to wear things so flimsy to realize what kind of a body I have." She blushed at the thought. 'Maybe she's right; maybe something like this would be good once in a while. It'll certainly give him good reason to stick around for a little more one on one time...' She thought perversely to herself.
The two continued to pass banter back and forth about Lucy's love life in which she also inquired about the clerk's life as well. Surprisingly, Lucy found that she was enjoying herself. Before she knew it she had two outfits picked out and had just left the shop just in time to see Natsu lean up against the wall next to the door. "So where did you disappear to while you made me shop for swimsuits? Honestly, why would you have me pick something out that you want to see, without you being there?"
Without answering, Natsu hooked an arm around her waist and drew her to his side. He took her bag from her with his other hand to add to the rest of the bags that they had accumulated during their date. "Call in Virgo for a moment." Lucy gave him a questioning look, but did as he requested.
Virgo appeared in a flash of bright light, bowing low at the waist. "You called Mistress? Am I here to have Master punish me again?" She straightened with her hands clasped tightly in front of her, a seductive grin plastered across her lips.
Lucy groaned while Natsu barked out a laugh. "I can't tell you how glad I am that you are over it, but I have a request for you if you don't mind?" Virgo cast a look over to Lucy, who nodded, and turned back to Natsu with a curt nod. "Do you mind taking these back to the Spirit Realm for a few minutes? If we keep them on us, I'll just end up destroying them with my flames. We need to move fast." He explained holding his hand up with the bags.
Virgo reached out and took the bags from him with a reserved smile. "As Master wishes. Call me when you want them back, I'll make sure to bring them with me. If that will be all, I will depart."
Natsu kept his arm wrapped around Lucy's back and waited until Virgo had disappeared completely. "You ready?"
"Where are we headed? All of the pools are closed around this time." Lucy asked, hooking her arms around Natsu's neck as he picked her up with a hand at the small of her back and an arm under her knees.
"That's why we need to move fast, we have a bit of a distance to travel." Fire roared up around his ankles and crept up his limbs and people walking by stepped back in shock. "Hang on; you know how disorienting this technique is…" Lucy took a deep breath and gave a nod. Natsu flashed a devilish grin and they disappeared from sight, several people falling back with a startled cry.
Lucy squeezed her eyes shut and held her breath for a few seconds to let her body get used to the force of the wind that was pressing against her, their bodies nowhere near as aerodynamic in their current state as Natsu himself was when he used this technique in battle. When she opened her eyes, her stomach lurched and flipped, threatening to empty itself. She turned her eyes to the only object that wasn't blurring past them, her husband and mate Natsu.
As if sensing her gaze on him, Natsu cast her a small smile. "You gonna be alright?" Lucy nodded, not trusting her voice at the moment. "Just keep calm and focus on me, it'll only be a couple of minutes before we get there."
Natsu continued to weave his way through the crowds of people, nearing the edge of town and the hotels that all of the Guilds were staying. Out of the corner of his eye he saw someone launch an attack. Immediately he dropped his black flames and reappeared, seemingly from nowhere, spun around and back flipped over the beam of black and white energy. He felt the skin on his back tighten as his vest melted to his skin, knowing that if he had kept his previous trajectory, Lucy would have taken the brunt of the attack. The woman in question screamed in surprise as they flipped through the air.
The second he touched back down on the ground, his eyes narrowed in on the individuals in question, and disappeared once again in a vortex of black flames.
It only took five minutes once they left the edge of town to reach their destination. Once they stopped Lucy took a minute to get her bearings and take a few deep breaths. As soon as she opened her eyes and looked up, her breath caught in her throat. They were sitting down on a few outcroppings of large warm rocks that had been warmed by the sun during the day in front of a, nearly calm, river that lead into a lake. The late sun reflected off the smooth water, bathing the trees surrounding it in a bright orange glow.
Lucy spun around on Natsu to see him peel his vest off his back, flinching slightly as it peeled off a bit of skin with it. Her excitement fell and delved into worry. "When did that happen? And since when has anything been able to melt to your skin?" Her voice cracked slightly at the sight of him in pain.
Natsu neatly folded his vest and set it down on the rock to his side and cast her a disarming smile. "I wouldn't say it melted to me, more fused with my skin. I'm not worried though, I'll show them what it means to throw a sneak attack on us when we aren't in a battle. Now, why don't we call Virgo back so we can get our swimsuits?"
Lucy frowned at her mate for a few moments longer, but whipped out her key and called Virgo from the Spirit Realm anyways. The spirit noticed Natsu's patch of missing skin, but chose not to comment on it and set the bags down in front of Lucy. "I will attend to your wounds then depart." She said in a surprisingly commanding tone to the point that neither of the two Mages questioned her. She grabbed Natsu's shoulder and forced him to sit down where she started to clean the small patches of missing skin and placed waterproof patches over them from a pouch that she held at her waist.
Once she had finished, she stood up and bowed. "If that is all, I will depart."
Natsu reached out and snatched her wrist before she could depart. "You know, it's rude to just leave like that. I have a few things I would appreciate if you took back to the Spirit Realm with you for the others. Specifically I have something for you, both as a thank you for always helping us and as another apology for what happened back then…" When he was sure she wasn't going to leave, he reached over to his vest and pulled a couple of thin boxes from the inside pockets. He opened one of them and handed it to her, a pair of silver cuffs with a few links dangling from them. The cuffs had intricate designs of each of the twelve zodiac signs as well as several of the lesser signs of Lucy's summons; the ones that Lucy had were filled with gold leaf while the others were filled with some sort of glossy black rock that she couldn't quite place.
"Thank you Master, Mistress." Virgo stated calmly, but she shook slightly as she took off her own shackles to replace them with the ones that Natsu had given her. Lucy stepped up and took her Spirit's hands in her own.
"You have to know what you all mean to me, but I can't say that this was my idea. Natsu did this, not me. If you could, would you pass on to the others that I appreciate your help?" The Celestial Mage smiled happily and hugged her Spirit briefly. She took the few boxes from Natsu's hands and put them in a bag to make them easier to handle before giving it to Virgo and bidding her a good night.
"When did you get the idea for gifts for my Spirits?" She asked while digging through her bag to pull out her bathing suit. So as to not give away her choice she stepped away and behind a tree while Natsu changed into his swimwear as well.
Natsu grabbed a pair of swim trunks out of a bag and slipped them on. They were black with a golden strip down the outside of the edges. "The day after we got here, it was more of something that I had planned for a while now, but when I saw the jeweler's place… I just felt that I had to place my order. It just so happened that I got word earlier today that they were ready."
Lucy stepped around the tree in a two-piece bathing suit. Natsu had to force his jaw to close less he swallow a fly. The top was white with layers of ruffled white cloth holding them together. The bottoms were similar to the top, but somewhere she had found a red Fairy Tail pendant and had clipped it at her hip. She sauntered her way over to the Dragon Slayer and stood in front of him with a devious smile. "What now mister big bad vigilante?"
Natsu reached a hand out to her and pulled her close to him. He kissed her hand and watched her melt into his arms, knowing full well that she was at his mercy. "I wish I could tell you how beautiful you are right now."
"Oh? Can't put it to words? Show me." She put a hand against his chest and leaned in closer, her lips barely far enough away from his that they weren't touching.
Natsu grinned. "Close your eyes." She did as he bid her and pulled her closer into his arms. When he felt that she was least expecting it he picked her up and gave her a gentle kiss. As planned, she melted into his arms even further. It took everything he had not to move to quickly as he made his way over to the side of the water. Finally he broke the kiss and met her eyes when she opened them. "Take a deep breath."
Lucy cocked her head to the side in confusion. She recoiled in surprise when she saw the mischief in his eyes, yet didn't have time to react other than a sharp intake of breath before she was flying through the air. At the apex of her arc she screamed and was suddenly swallowed by the cool water.
When she came up for air she barely caught the sight of Natsu diving into the water a few feet off to her side. When he resurfaced she glared at him, trying not to smile. "You punk, you could have warned me."
"Well I did tell you to take a deep breath…" He grinned and kept treading water. Lucy's sudden grin struck fear in him and she dunked him under the water.
The two continued to swim around lazily until a few hours after the sun had set and the two of them found themselves lying on the, still warm, rocks with Natsu on his back and Lucy on her side next to him, pressed into his side comfortably while they watched in a comfortable silence as the stars appeared in the sky above them. "Can we spend the rest of the night out here?"
Natsu turned and pressed a kiss to Lucy's temple. "As much as I would like that, I think we should send word to the others before we do. I don't want them to worry needlessly."
"How long do you think it would take if we sent one of my spirits to go tell them?"
Natsu hummed in thought and closed his eyes to think about the distance that they had traveled. "Maybe a half hour at a decent pace for them to get there, maybe a little more." He said finally.
Lucy withdrew her arms from around Natsu and rolled over to the other side of the rock and pulled one of her keys and summoned Capricorn. The summon appeared sporting a new set of cufflinks and a tie tack, minute engravings on them representing the Spirits' symbols. "Capricorn, would you mind heading back to town and telling Mirajane and Wendy that we are staying the night out here? Oh, and ask them to bring a couple of towels when they decide to join us."
"But of course Princess, I would be pleased to bring your other mates. Is there anything else that you need before I depart?"
Lucy sat up and stretched her arms over her head. "Thanks Capricorn, I appreciate it. Oh, and take your time on your way there. Once you let them know, you can head back to the Spirit Realm at your leisure."
Capricorn bowed deeply and nodded, his gaze finally settling on Natsu. "I wish to express my gratitude to you Master Natsu for the gift. They are practical and… I am appreciative of your thought of me."
"If you don't like them, you can say so Cap. I won't hold it against you." Natsu said with a small smile.
Capricorn shook his head slowly. "I do not mean to convey that I have no appreciation. I quite enjoy the gifts, it is just difficult to get a gift or any appreciation from anyone other than my summoner."
Natsu smiled and inclined his head. "But of course Cap, I see where you are coming from. Just know that all of you mean a lot to me because of what you do for Lucy. All of you."
Capricorn bowed once more. "At your leave." Lucy smiled and nodded, happy that her mate was bonding with her Spirits. As soon as she was sure he was out of sight she rolled over on top of Natsu.
"We have about an hour before they get here and I plan to have you to myself until they show up." She announced and dropped her lips to his in a crushing kiss.
Natsu returned the kiss wholeheartedly, wrapping his arms around her waist to deepen the kiss while his hands slowly roamed down her smooth skin. "You know…" He said once the kiss broke, his hands slipping past her hips to cup her ass and squeezing it to receive a gentle moan in return. Lucy hummed as she ground her scantily clad chest against his bare chest. "You never did tell me what happened this morning…"
Lucy stopped grinding her body against his and pulled back to look into his eyes. "I'm pregnant…"
"…"
"…"
"…Come again?"
"I'm pregnant…" She was starting to get worried about his reaction; it wasn't what she had thought it would have been seeing as they had been trying since they had gotten together.
"You're pregnant… you aren't pulling my leg here are you? Because that would be…" She stopped him by pressing her lips to his again.
"Of course I'm serious, Wendy confirmed it this morning." She smiled down at him.
Natsu rolled them over and roughly pressed his lips to her and pressed her against the rock with his body. "How far along are you?"
"We have no way of telling, we are just at the beginning of it… But, if I had to say it would be almost a month along." She said breathlessly. "It's tough to guess because I haven't had any signs until today, but as you remember… I couldn't be a month along because I had my… you know… last week."
Natsu nodded and his mind quickly tried to wrap itself around the fact that she was pregnant and had had her monthly visit just a week prior. "I don't… Fuck it, questions later, celebrations now."
Lucy agreed wholeheartedly and rolled them back over to press her lips to his again. They would deal with the how and when later, it was time to celebrate.
Like it? Love it? Review it!
As you read, next challenge is going to be interesting. You can suggest a fight if you want, but I may or may not use it. I actually have them all planned, but if you come up with something that intrigues me more than one of my plans I may use it. If I do use it however, I will give you credit where it is due!
