"Don't you love me anymore, Kagome?" Inuyasha asked, feeling a bit torn between his feelings for Kagome, and whatever it was he was feeling towards Yukiko. Kagome sighed, turning to look to her best friend.

"I will always love you, Inuyasha. It's not like that anymore, though." She said, sitting on the grass. She patted the spot next to her, inviting him to join her. He did, sitting in his usual stance.

"So what's changed? Why can't we be together?" He asked.

"I just want to be friends, Inuyasha. I don't want to lose our friendship."

He understood, frowning.
