They arrived to Heimdall's keep quickly.
"Loki!" Thor barged in with Kagome right behind him, "What have you...?!" He gasped, seeing that part of the Yggdrasil was frozen, "What do you intend to do?"
"I intend to destroy that race of monsters," Loki didn't look too surprised that they showed, "And show Father that I am the true heir to the throne when he wakes!"
Thor looked to his brother in horror, "You can't kill an entire race!" He seemed to grow more and more desperate for Loki to listen.
Loki blinked mockingly, "Why not?" He asked in a similar fashion before placing his green eyes on Kagome when she stepped forward.
"Because that is genocide, you idiot!" Kagome growled, having enough of Loki's taunting, "And you call yourself a God to humanity?!" She spat, "You're no better than the absolute worst of humans if you commit such a treachery!"
Loki sneered, "Are you concerned for the Frost Giants of all races?" He stepped closer to Thor, seemingly ignoring Kagome's words, much to her fury, "You, who tried to kill them all with your bare hands?"
"I have changed," Thor said quietly, "Thanks to the Lady Priestess, I have seen the error of my ways–!?" He let out a noise of pain and was hurled to the floor when Loki suddenly swiped his face rather harshly with his staff.
"You have changed and so have I," Loki smirked at the sight of Thor on his knees in front of him, "So, fight me, Brother!"
'I'm sick of him,' Kagome thought with a twitching brow, 'But this is Thor's brother. I don't think he wants to hurt him,' She thought and moved swiftly before changing her mind, 'I'll subdue him as best as I can.'
"What's this, Priestess?" Loki's smirk widened as soon he spotted her moving towards him rather intently, "Decided to change sides, have we?"
"Not on your life," Kagome muttered, placing her index and middle fingers together and concentrating her spiritual powers to them, 'I hope this works on Gods!'
With that, she touched him.
And he glowed blue in response.
"Priestess!" Loki growled, struggling just to move, "What did you do!?" It took all his strength just for one simple movement and he knew he would not be able to fight Thor in such a condition.
"Not fun, is it?" Kagome asked with sweat dripping down her face as she had to concentrate with everything she had just to keep a person of his strength, a God that is, under her control, "Happened to me once."
"Lady Priestess, what is this?" Thor asked, standing up slowly and seeing that Loki was glowing blue and struggling just to move an inch.
"Spiritual immobilization," Kagome began to pant, "So hurry up and do what you need to do." What that was, even she did not know.
"Loki," Thor stepped in the trickster's sight with a pleading face, "Brother, please, stop thi–!?"
"Enough with the 'Brother' talk!" Loki suddenly spat, "I am not even your brother! I never was and never will be!"
And with that, a light exploded.
'What the?'
It was Kagome's first thought, feeling that her powers were no longer working on Loki and that he had somehow broken her spell.
It wasn't surprising though, once she really thought about it.
'I'm supposed to work under a God's power, not to control them.' She shook herself out of her thoughts and began to look for Thor, just noticing that Heimdall's keep was pretty much destroyed.
She glanced over to the Bifröst, seeing that Thor was standing near the edge, "Thor!" Kagome called out, moving towards him quickly, "What are you doing!?" She stopped still when she noticed something.
Loki was barely hanging onto the side of the bridge.
"Brother, please." Loki pleaded and Thor knelt down, intending on helping his brother until he seemed to dissipate under his touch.
It was Kagome who noticed the real Loki behind Thor before he did, "Bastard!" She blocked the thrust of his staff, intending on Thor's back, using her forearm. She could only wince as the staff impaled her arm as her blood spattered everywhere.
"What's this now?" Loki snickered, feeling a few droplets land on his face, "Letting your blood shed in front of a God? Not very smart of you, Priestess."
It wasn't smart she would admit.
But it was for Thor.
And for him...
"I've already risked my life for him," She murmured, growing more and more irate, "So what makes you think I won't do it again!?" She let her powers explode and Loki was thrown far from her and landed right in the middle of the Bifröst.
"Enough, Lady Priestess," Thor said softly as he placed Mjölnir on Loki's chest so he was subdued once more, "There is never a need for you to ever risk your life for the likes of me." She blinked when he didn't even bother to look at her.
Instead, he turned around back to Heimdall's keep, which seemed to be glowing and sparking with electricity and pure power.
"What's happening?" Kagome asked no one and could only watch when began to punch the Bifröst with his bare hands, "What are you doing!?"
It was her only way back home and Thor was currently destroying it.
"Forgive me, Lady Priestess." Thor murmured, as the bridge began to crack underneath his fists.
Loki lifted his head, looking horrified at Thor's actions, "Are you mad?" He shouted, "If you destroy the Bifröst, you and your Priestess will never see Midgard again!"
The Rainbow Bridge then shattered.
