Guys...I'm so sorry for the long wait. Thank you all for your reviews on the last chapter. Sorry for the errors I only checked it over once, wanted to get it out to you guys.

As his hybrid eyes bear down on her. Lucien is crying louder reaching for his father as he stares at Caroline. Never letting his son touch him to give him peace. That is what little Lucien wants his parents to be at peace. Tears roll down Caroline's cheek as she looks at her wolf. That very part of him trying to break through. She reaches for him as he turns his face towards the door. As it pushes open, something snaps in him. He realizes since Lucien, his family has had a part in his life. As he became a father and pieced together Caroline's past. With Silas and Marcel after them and Stefan coming into the fold. Since that very day he told her she was pregnant they have put their faith in others. Klaus felt as if he has lost his true nature. The beast that has always lived in him.

"Niklaus is everything okay" Elijah says while looking at Lucien,whining in Caroline's arms. His brother stands over them. Caroline could feel everything he was feeling at that point and was preparing her self for what followed.

Klaus slowly turns towards Elijah. "Leave" he sternly says. Elijah is trying to gauge his brothers mind-set. As Klaus speaks again. "Leave..now Elijah" his voice raises a bit. Elijah looks at Caroline. She turns her head away, rocking Lucien. Klaus follows his brother's eyes and soon meets him at the door. "This is my family…when I ask you to leave, that is what you do. When I speak you listen when it involves Caroline or Lucien.

Elijah places his hands on Klaus' shoulder, trying to reassure his brother. He is met with resist as Klaus violently pushes him against the wall. Causing everyone downstairs to come towards the foyer of the home. Caroline begins to cry more as she looks upon her wolf. His pain tearing her up inside. "No….you don't need to reassure me. That's all we do is reassure each other. While my family is attacked or threaten in the process. This stops today." He yells making sure the others can hear him. "I take control of what is mine." He slams the door in their faces.

As he vamps back over to Caroline he grabs her chin. "Look at me sweetheart" his voice softer than before. "I could never hurt you. My heart won't let me." he brushes his thumb over her soft lips as they quiver. Caroline meets his eyes. "But if something happens to our daughter, I don't know the darkness that will follow." he mumbles. Lucien wiggles his way higher in his mother's arm. As he reaches for his father. Klaus backs away, knowing that his son is trying to ease him once again. He looks down at him. "Not this time little wolf. I made you a promise." he whispers. As Caroline reaches for him, suddenly feeling a wisp of wind come into the room. She blinks and Klaus is gone.

"Are you alright?" Elijah ask eyeing the room. Caroline says nothing as she looks at the fireplace, her eyes are heavy. He sees the guilt and shame, along with sorrow beneath them. Elijah motions for the others to leave the room as he closes the door. He walks over to Caroline who is still holding on to Lucien for dear life. As he bends down in front of her. "Caroline….Caroline are you alright?" he asks again. The blonde finally responds but with a nod of her head.

Suddenly her hoarse voice rises "I've messed up. I'm suppose to make him better and keep him safe. Will he forgive me? " Elijah joins her on the edge of the bed. "You don't hold my brother's fault's against him. He will forgive you but he just needs time." As Elijah tries to take Lucien, he screams. As his uncle moves back a little looking at him. "He will not leave your side?"

Caroline turns her head and half smiles. "No..he knows she's sick. He just wants to be close to Adora and me." Elijah smiles "Adora…this is her name? Beautiful."

"Nik chose it, earlier tonight before we left." Caroline stands up and looks at her little wolf. "I have to put you down Lucien.. okay. Please" she smiles. As the little wolf coos and lays his head on his mothers chest. She hands him to Elijah and he does not fight this time. Staring up at his uncle. Caroline walks towards the bathroom. "We think we found someone who could help" Elijah says. Caroline looks back and smiles as she closes the door. She want's to curl up in a ball and cry. She thought she was doing the right thing, but with it came a great sacrifice. Her baby and her wolf. She turns on the water and steps into the shower.

Elijah starts to walk around the room with Lucien. Smiling down at the little tot as he cradles him. Klaus burst back through the bedroom door. As he eyes his brother then looks towards the bathroom. He says nothing as he gives his brother a stern look. Elijah notices the small vials in his hand. Klaus storms into the bathroom, never speaking a word. He eyes her as his lust takes over. He could never deny his wanting her at every moment. Even if she did hurt him. He was forever tied to her and he knew it. Caroline jumps a little as the door opens. As she turns to see him. Smiling but then it slowly recedes as she sees his face. This is not her Nik by far but someone else. Darker than usually with no feeling. She steps out and looks at him. "Nik…please." She begs while walking closer to him. Wrapping the towel around her body as she looks at him. He reaches for her grabbing her wrist forcefully. Caroline winches at the quick pain. He slowly brings her wrist up to his mouth and sinks his fangs in her flesh. Squeezing the blood as it runs down. He pulls out the vials and starts to fill them up. "Nik…" she mumbles. "Quiet" he yells. "If I hear you say my name one more time." he stops. Grabbing another vial. "It looks as if your blood is fine. No trace of the poison. But that won't help my daughter. Will it?" he seethes. As he fills the last one. He grabs her chin "You chose Stefan over your own daughter. Me and the children should always come first." Caroline pushes back from his hold and stares at him. "Do you think I knew. If I had known, I never would have done it." As her head hangs down she mumbles "You should now that or at least feel it." As he rushes towards her once more. Caroline hits the wall behind her "I can't feel anything but hate and pain now. I don't care how you feel or what your feeling. All this work for nothing. You walked right into his trapped and now our daughter pays the price." Klaus moves back and looks at the amulet hanging around her neck. He jerks it off and throws it to the ground. Caroline screams in fear. "What are you doing. That could kill her."

"It's been black since you've been back. I'm thinking that is because she's already dead or at least half way there." He turns and vamps out of the bathroom. Elijah stunned by his brother's actions holds on a little tighter to Lucien. Klaus feeling the darkness take over him, looks away from his son. He stops at the door, never turning back to look at them. "Maybe you should give Katerina another try. Have something of your own." he mumbles as he vamps out the door. Elijah hears the door from the bathroom open and vamps out with Lucien in his arms.

Stefan, Rebekah and Liz look at each other. Rebekah fully understanding what is going to take place with her brother. She has seen him in dark moods over the centuries but with different circumstances. She can only imagine what his wrath will be this time. She turns and heads up stairs. As she enters the room, sadness hits her hard. For the first time Caroline looks broken, her hair still wet and her clothes loose on her body. She walks closer to the blonde. "Caroline…I'm sorry." she faintly says.

Caroline whips around and hugs her tightly. "It's not your fault. We meant well Rebekah."

She gives Caroline a broken smile, pushing back on their embrace to look at her. "Caroline..you need to send your mother away. You don't want her to see Nik like this." Rebekah begins to caress her shoulders. "I've seen him like this. Stefan is breaking the news to her now as I tell you. So she can leave soon." She pauses giving Caroline time to realize what is going on.

Caroline looks at her and nods her head. "I know your right. I've never felt this much rage or pain. It's all him, what my decision cost us. I'll be out soon." Rebekah nods and gets up, heading towards the door. She stops and gives her a slight smile. It pains her to see them this way.

Liz walks into Lucien's room, placing her bags near the door. Caroline is feeding him and turns towards her mother. The tot finally calming down and trying to sleep. Liz walks closer and caresses his face. "I will miss you little wolf but never forget grandma will see you again…soon" she bends down kissing his forehead as he wiggles. Then she touches Caroline's stomach and looks up at her daughter. "You are strong Caroline and she is too. That's why your her mother. She will make it and you will have your family." Liz pulls her in tighter.

"Mom…I don't want you to leave but."

"No…I understand." she turns stern and looks at Caroline.

"You bring him back..okay. He needs you more than ever. His broken honey, I saw it in his eyes." She kisses her daughters forehead. "You have people who love you. Don't worry…Rebekah and Stefan are sending me on a little vacation. I'll be fine and safe." she continues as Caroline places Lucien in his crib. They walk out of the room still holding onto each other. When they arrive to the door, Stefan and Rebekah are there waiting. Caroline grabs her mother tightly never wanting to let her go. "Thank you…I love you" she whispers. Turning as they leave, Caroline knew it was better to not know where her mother was going. With Silas still a threat there was no telling what strength he had gathered.

An hour later Caroline jumps, suddenly she hears screams and yells coming down from the quarter. She knows what is taking place but she feels it too. Her blood and his, their bond becoming stronger. As the hybrids awaken. She heads towards the back of the patio and slides the door open. The yearning pulling her towards the sounds, hearing someone or something she turns around. Royce is standing there eyeing her, blood stained around his mouth.

"Royce" she calls to him. Trying to pull him from his daze. Klaus appears from behind him as the new hybrid turns and bows his head to his king. "Something comes to harm the queen and princess." Elijah vamps out and pushes Royce back. He stands eyeing his brother. "Do not be fool. We know nothing of this new breed you created. He could have harmed her." Klaus walks slowly towards him. "My dear brother always thinking he knows whats best." Klaus seethes. Elijah places his hand on Klaus' shoulders. "Do not be a fool brother, don't let this darkness invade you thoughts. Fight it" he begs. Suddenly Royce comes up and pulls Elijah back. Tossing the original to the ground. "Stop it now" Caroline yells. Royce stops abruptly and stands. Klaus smirks as he walks towards Caroline. "Well..my love it looks as if they are sired to you too."

Everyone turns towards the front of the house as the door opens. Macon comes in with a woman who strangely favors Naomi. As they enter the house and gather back into the living room. Macon looks at Royce "It has begun. You changed them?" he looks at Klaus as the woman takes a seat. Klaus raises his brows "do not question what I do with my clan brother" he chuckles. As Caroline tries to move closer to the woman, only to have Klaus pull her back. "Don't you dare" he demands. She steps back by his side.

The girl looks at Caroline in awe as she takes a seat. Royce and Levi come and stand beside of Klaus and Caroline as they join her. Macon and Elijah stand behind her. "What's your name?" Caroline says breaking a smile to ease the girl.

"Cree..I'm Naomi's daughter" she answers.

"What….I'm sorry for your lost. If I would have known" the girl cuts her off. "It's fine. She's where she wants to be. I knew that night I helped her with boundary spell, she would give her life for you." Cree pauses "A LeFay the strongest most powerful of our kind." Caroline smiles at her again.

Klaus exhales loudly "We do not have time for these tales of discovery. What are you doing here?" he seethes. Cree looks at him then turns her eyes away. Afraid of the hybrid that sits across from her or at least the one in her vision.

"I had visions for months and I knew a wolf would turn up at my door. He did and told me to come here." She says as she makes eye contact with Caroline. "I saw something in my visions, I think my mother is trying to speak to me."

Caroline cuts her off as she feels slight relief that someone knows more about her new self or heritage and can help her. She thought she had known everything but she was wrong. Becoming his Queen and Lucien's mom has changed her. What will she be like when or if Adora arrives. "My baby's sick. Not Lucien the…" Cree interrupts "Your daughter, she's not strong like Lucien. She's weak, because of the amulet. It holds her life force."

Klaus digs his hands further into the arm of the couch. It takes everything for him not to explode at this minute. Slow tears began to form as Caroline looks at the girl. "I did this, It's my fault."

Cree smiles "No…the amulet was working all along recent events just speed up the process, but it was bound to happen. We have to reverse the spell on the amulet and restore the baby's strength."

"How will this happen?" Klaus demands as he looks to the girl. She continues to look at Caroline. "Look at me when I speak to you." he shouts. Causing the girl to jump as Macon steps forward.

"She is here to help, not harm you or Caroline. Everyone is not threat Klaus" Macon shouts back. Klaus slowly stands and walks over to his new brother. "You don't like me…I don't care. But know this, you will not speak to me in that manner. If you do so again I will take your immortal life that your father granted you."

The tension breaks as Rebekah and Stefan walk back in. Caroline rushes towards them, as they tell her that Liz is someplace safe. "Who's this?" Rebekah says while walking further into the room. Cree smiles "The natural witch" she says while looking at Rebekah.

"What do you mean? I thought all witches were natural" Rebekah shoots back as Stefan and Caroline walk back in the room. "They are but your mother was a very powerful one and you have some of her abilities. They intensified when you and Caroline became family. Like a coven it grows stronger when they are together. So with Caroline's powers growing so did your natural powers. My mom knew they would." she finishes.

Caroline looks at Rebekah " she's Naomi's daughter. Macon found her and she is going to help us." Cree smiles as Caroline speaks. "There's more to my vision. A warning of your death." The room is silent as she looks around.

Cree continues "All I saw was your life being drained from you, as you sit upon a stone with fire surrounding it." Klaus looks at Caroline, they know that vision. "Lucien had the same one weeks ago." Caroline faintly answers. Elijah and the other's start to catch on. The vision of Klaus killing her. "We can stop it but I need you, Lucien and Rebekah." Cree urges.

"So Lucien is warning us?" Caroline answers. Cree smiles "Yes…he's special and he has warned us since his conception. The pain, visions they are all warnings."

"The prince is the seer" Royce says. Pulling everyone from their thoughts.

"Yes….he is." Cree answers. "This is the darkness he tried to warn you all about but this darkness is not Silas" she pauses. "It's the darkness within the hybrid"

Klaus' jaw is tight as he looks at everyone. He told Elijah about his feelings and urges coming back to the surface. This is what everyone has warned him and Caroline about. All the stories finally coming together. Caroline looks at him and remembers their talk in Mystic Falls. "How can we stop it?" Elijah asks.

"We have to take them away from the hybrid, until the new moon is over. That way we can begin the ceremony. The binding of powers. It's the last stage and to do this we have to take Caroline, Rebekah and Lucien to hollow ground. Our family's hollow ground not far from here. It will keep Caroline safe." Cree says while looking at Caroline.

Seconds later she is struggling for her life as Klaus grips her tightly. "No one will take my family. They stay with me." he seethes. Looking down on the poor girl as her life slowly slips away. Elijah and Stefan rush to his side, as they try to pull Klaus from Cree. Caroline is trying to get close but Royce and Levi hold her back. Keeping her safe at all cost. She demands them to release her. As they do she rushes over towards Klaus. Pulling him from his wrath. "I'll never leave you. I'm not going" she says looking into his eyes. He pushes Cree back down onto the floor as he turns towards Caroline. Her breath hitches as she brings her arms around her wolf. Klaus pulls them into the kitchen quickly as, he sits Caroline up on the counter. She places her hands on his face and smiles. He leans in and kisses her forehead. His veins begin to show under his eyes. She knows he has not feed from her for a bit. Trying to stop him self from what is bound to happen. They give in to the darkness as Klaus pushes her hair to the side and sinks his fangs into her neck. She winches as he feeds, tears streaming down her face. Stefan comes around the corner and looks at them. His anger begins to broil as he watches. Klaus brings his hand down on her stomach and caresses it. He pulls back and looks at Caroline "You, Lucien and Adora are all I have that are truly mine. I will not let you go, I can not. Even it I know it is wrong."

Caroline looks into his eyes, as the storm rises within him. She feels Stefan's glare and looks towards the opening. "Their dead Caroline….Damon, Elena and Marcel. Silas killed them for power." he blurts out. As she pushes herself off the counter, causing a slight growl from Klaus. "What…" she answers as she rushes towards him. "Why I'm I the last to know?" she pleads with him.

"We did not want to cause anymore pain. Making sure you were safe and getting Liz away was top priority at the time." Stefan answers as he eyes Klaus. The hybrid comes to stand behind Caroline. "The claim you once held over her is no longer needed. Remember that when it comes to my family." He pulls Caroline away as she looks back at Stefan. Elijah comes to stand beside Stefan. "Don't… you will anger him more. He is in a dark place now."

"You want me to stand by as he pulls Caroline with him in that darkness" he answers. Elijah nods "she is the only one who can pull him out."

As Klaus hands Caroline a glass filled with blood, she looks at it. "It's mine…drink" he demands. As she brings the liquid to her lips. Cree looks at her and then at Macon. Klaus walks out as he calls the hybrids to follow. Lucien starts to whine upstairs and Caroline leaves to room to check on her son. Everyone looks at Cree. "We have to get her away from him and finish this puzzle piece." Rebekah demands.

Caroline opens the door to her little wolf pulling himself up on in the crib. Reaching for his mother. She smiles as she picks him up. "Little wolf…" she says as she kisses his forehead. Macon knock on the door, as Caroline tells him to come in. He opens the door and smiles. Looking at them. "I can't wait till his first run. He will be a strong wolf." he smirks.

"First run…" she says looking at Macon.

"The first time the moon claims him. He will turn and run with his pack. It's quite beautiful to see." he answers walking closer to her and Lucien. Caroline smiles at him and he turns aways quickly as her smile fades. "Why do you do that?" she ask.

"Your kindness comes with price, just the same as your beauty. That is power of an enchantress. You'll see once the ceremony is over but what I fear is the wrath that follows." he answers.

"Niklaus" she whispers. "He's just afraid, not being in control is something he does not like."

Macon smirks "You don't get it, it's not that he is afraid of not being in control. He is afraid of your allure and what that will bring. Wolves are different, especially alpha's. His claim for you will grow. You've given him children, your mated and that bond will only get stronger." he looks at her as Lucien wiggles around in his arms. Suddenly Macon falls to his knees in pain, as he looks at Lucien. Caroline's eyes get wider "Lucien stop it" she demands. The pain suddenly leaves his body as he stands again. "It seems as if your son will take that role when his father is not around." he glares at the little tot. Stefan soon joins them and ask for a moment alone with Caroline. Macon nods his head and leaves.

"Caroline…I know you love him but are you willing take that chance? You're going to have to let Klaus feel this pain. In order for you to save him and your children." he begs. Caroline looks at him. "I know…I just have to assure him that I will not do anything stupid. Then I will come, I promise." she answers. "We don't have much time Caroline. I love you and will stand beside you no matter what. Your my family now, with Damon gone." Stefan says turning on his heels as he leaves the room. Caroline gets up and starts to lay Lucien back down. She feels a pain in her stomach. Lucien begins to reach for his mother again. Crying loudly to alert his father. Klaus enters the room. "What is it….is she?" he stops as he can not think about not hearing the little heart that beats inside of her. The life they created being taken away, as he thinks back to all the scares they had with Lucien.

Caroline takes a seat as Klaus bends down and places his hand on her stomach. "It's okay daddy's little princess will be okay. I promise…just hold on." He kisses her belly lightly as the pain begins to subside. Caroline thinks back to what Cree told her and how Lucien reacted when Macon got closer to her. "Nik…I think it's a warning." Klaus slowly looks up at her and he vamps out of the room.

Caroline takes Lucien with her and stands at the top of the steps, as the hybrids gather everyone in the foyer of the house. "Leave….all of you. Get out NOW!" he yells. "Brother what is this new level of paranoia." Elijah demands. Klaus tilts his head. "Get out."

Rebekah looks up and Caroline "Are you gonna say anything. Stop him Caroline. We all want to help. You know what we have done." she begs while struggling with the sired hybrid. Caroline lowers her head. "You think following along with what he says will stop his madness. It won't, rather we're here or not he will act out. Is this the Queen you want to be, because the sister I knew told me otherwise." Suddenly a hand comes across her face. "You will not speak to my Lupa like that" the hybrid seethes. Stefan and Elijah break free and as Elijah takes his heart out for touching his sister. Macon looks up at Caroline and smirks, as he turns to leave the house. Elijah and Stefan are poised to fight as the front door swings open. "I would not do that if I were you. It will not end in your favor." They turn and see the rest of the pack ready to attack on Klaus' command. Caroline rushes down the steps towards Rebekah, when Klaus stops her. She sees the hurt and pain on their faces. They would never hurt her or the children but Klaus does not care. He wants all of them out.

As they turn to walk out of the door, along with Cree. She looks at Caroline. "You have to make a choice. Both come with consequences. The love you have for your wolf or the love you both share for your children. You and the child you carry will grow weaker if we do nothing."

"Enough" Klaus yells as they all walk outside. The door slamming behind them.

Later that night Klaus enters the room after giving the hybrids their assignments and watch orders. He smiles at the comfort he feels. Caroline and Lucien fast asleep in their bed, as he hears the slow heartbeat of Adora. She's weak but she is fighting. He takes a seat and pours his drink. Looking back over at the bed that holds everything he cares about now. He takes a sip and is paralyzed by the liquid. He is trying to speak but can't. Caroline wakes and looks over at him in pain. She gets up and caresses his face as he reaches for her. "I'm sorry…I love you and I hope you understand. This is to save our family, to save you. I told you this is what I would do if needed." She bends down and kisses his lips as she walks over to her sleeping child and takes him. Klaus' eyes get wider as he sees this, not being able to move or speak. Caroline opens the door and leaves.

Minutes later she has gotten away from the house. She is standing a mile down the road with her and Lucien's things. He begins to stir and whine as he feels his father's pain. A car pulls up and she gets in. Rebekah smiles at her as Elijah drives. "This is for the best Caroline."

She smiles and looks out of the window as the car begins to move. She hopes this is the right thing, for if not the darkness that follows will end in her death and Klaus' madness.

Alright guys...this chapter is a little darker but needed. Caroline had to make a choice and now we will see the end result of that in the next chapter. Lucien is becoming stronger and will start demanding things from his mother. Klaus' rage will grow as he fights to find Caroline. The warning Lucien gave in this chapter is very important. For there is another that is working with Silas and we will soon find out who that is. Do you think Caroline made the right choice? Has Klaus' claim to her gotten out of control and will the family forgive him? We will also learn a little more about Klaus and Caroline's hybrids.
