Chapter Thirty-Five: Redemption

~Time Skip~

(Feferi's POV)

I'm currently with Karkat in his hospital room, it has been a few weeks, but since he was badly hurt he has to stay longer.

This is one of those times Karkat lets everyone drag Sollux out of this room to go back to the hotel to get some sleep and good food.

"So the other day before you know this whole….infishdent I found this notebook lying around" I told him, holding a journal up, I feel bad about taking it, but no one ever noticed.

"Oh cool well let's see what's inside" He grabbed it and opened it, looking over some of the words and looks at a page more clearly.

I remember the day I found the notebook

~Flashback~

I was walking through the halls and saw Sollux, he was being an asshole, he made Karkat really sad and it hurt him after he left that night, so I glared at him a bit before passing him, he is my best fishy but what he did to Karkat, even if he doesn't remember, was still harsh so I went on someone's room, thinking it was Nepeta's/Terezi's and say no one in there, but seeing a note book, I got it and opened it, reading a few lines before reading more and more, getting sucked in, it looked like a song or lyrics to one if you tried, maybe I should show this to Karkrab later and walked out, not noticing another figure walking in after me.

End Flashback~

"Soo Karkrab, what do you think? Could we try it out?" I pleaded, it looked like wonderful lyrics and it reminded me of everyone's situations just like Karkat's songs before.

"Hmm they could, we need a little work on them but I can't do anything, no instruments in here Feferi" He said, letting out a sigh, I knew he would say that.

I walked over and opened up a closet door pulling out a little instrument box, computer and small guitar, this was Kankri's idea since he didn't want the hospital to know we snuck these in.

"How...when...why?" He asked as I brought them over.

"Kankri said too, let me go get him" I told him before running out the door, seeing Aradia with Kankri and next to her was Damara.

"I shall go first" Kankri said, walking to the room.

"How is the kid?" Damara asked, a worried look practically imbedded on her face every since the accident.

"He is doing better, wants Sollux and Kankri but one out of two with him now is good, cause Sollfish needs his sleep" I told her, getting that dreadful worrying feeling back in my head.

"Well before I came here I made sure Sollux is resting, Kankri was talking to the doctor to let Karkat out early since we need to leave soon" Aradia said, sighing a bit.

"When we are leaving?" No one told me when we are going to leave.

"In two days, but Kankri said tomorrow" She grins, Ohhhhh I know what happened there.

"Hehe" I giggled, Kankri was all about not triggering someone and yet he sometimes tells lies.

(Cronus's POV)

I walked into the hospital to Karkat's floor, Damara and Aradia and Feferi came back a while ago but Kankri was still here, so I wanted to check on them since it was my turn (That and I wanted to do it alone)

Is the first thing I hear when I am near the door, it was slightly opened so you could hear it and I stopped and listened silently, it had to be Kankri or Karkat singing this.

Then it fades out, I peek inside to see a computer on Karat's lap and Kankri sitting cross legged in front of him on the bed.

Damn

Never knew he could since like that, I mean he and I sang some songs back then, but this was kinda another level of this awesomeness.

And all of the sudden he got 100% sexier than he was originally and he was HOT~ before and still is.

~Time Skip~

(Sollux's POV)

Today is the day

I'm happy it is because I was getting sick of being around the hospital

Today is the day Karkat gets discharged and I'm so happy. I've waited a bit for this, Mituna and the others are getting ready to leave like we are, but unfortunately they can't come with us which sucks.

I'm in Karkat's room because they wouldn't let me go with them, the ones that got him are Kankri (Of course), Gamzee (A given even if he doesn't remember jack shit), and for some reason Eridan (That one surprised me) and Aradia and Feferi are still packing, as the others are too.

I packed a long time ago when Kankri said that he was going to get Karkat out earlier but he has to be very careful and handed delicately, yeah right like Karkat would like that treatment.

I know the little shit and he would just either yell at them or ignore them, the thought itself just puts a smile on your face.

But thinking out him more turns you smile into a grin and eventually a frown, you closes you eyes and go back to when you didn't remember all the things you said to him and you punched him, even when the others weren't around he was stalking you and trying to make conversation and I would tell him off or plain out ignore him, I know how he gets when I ignore him sometimes, but that…that was out of pure hate and I have no fucking idea for a true reason I hated him…..I keep going back in my head and try to find it, but really nothing comes up.

I know if Karkat heard anything I was thinking now he would just hit me and lecture me on how I'm wrong, but I know I am so worthless so I'm fine with not telling him.

I got a text a while ago from Eridan saying they got him and they are on their way back, I'm so excited I really shouldn't, but I can't help it the assholes I call friends made me stay away from the hospital for a couple of days, really I just get my memory back and thy make me stay away from him and I love him not my fault I was a huge ass to him as human….well still human just with a bonus of my memories as a troll.

I hear the door knock "Come in"

Feferi walked in with a huge smile on her face.

"Guess who came back right now, he's in his room you better go now before he passes out from the painkillers the docs gave him" She told me, hugging me before quickly heading out of the room.

The second she said and left I practically ran out of the room and walking over to the elevator to head to his floor.

The elevator was to long before it stopped and I walked over passing Eridan.

"Hey is he?"

"Yeah he's there go before he knocks out I just got Gamz and Kan to leavve so hurry and good night"

"ED…..thankth"

"No problem" and off to the elevator he went with a wave and a small smile, I waved back, he's nothing like he was on Alternia and now...We are actually friends and that makes me happy.

I walked up to his room and took a deep breath and knocked, on the second one knock the door slide open slowly, giving me the horror feeling kind of thing and walked in.

"KK? You thtill awake?" I called out softly, maybe he fell asleep, but then again a sleeping Karkat is a cute one and the last time I saw one was when I thought about where to store his corpse… yeah not proud of those thoughts.

I gasped as I saw him standing there and smirking, he was next to….a table? And it had this restaurant romantic setting to it and it was kinda cheesy, but so damn cute and wonderful.

"Well you look like you are going to half pass out and the other half cry Sollux" Karkat said, just standing there and smirking.

"Fuck you, you ath thith ith tho damn cheethy and thweet and fuck off" I told him, half laughing a bit.

"Shut the fuck up and sit down I spent all day getting the food ready" Just by the mention of it I can smell and hear my stomach growl slightly, I blushed because I spent most of the day packing and thinking about Karkat, then I hear his laugh and flushed deeper.

"Thut up KK it'th not funny" I growled at him playfully and sat down as he sat down too, he was moving a bit slowly because of his injuries, but he insists he's fine when I ask.

After we eat more, he tells me some stories about what he had been doing before he remembered that his "Girlfriend" of his was cheating on him for months before he remembered and left her without a good bye and Kankri finished High school when he started helping him more and became his manager.

I told him some good traits in my life before Mituna dragged me with him to the concert they weren't that many but still some to tell while we finished eating.

After he cleaned up a bit we went back inside, the table was on his balcony so we had an awesome view of the city, which was beautiful, and he pulled me with him on the bed.

"KK what the fuck?" I told him, blushing a bit more when he held me closer to him, he was soft, but with muscle and warm as he always was.

I gasped a bit when I felt soft, warm lips on my neck, but I didn't push him away, I never could and held onto him more, as he trailed them down more and I yelped quietly as he nipped me and moaned quietly, All I wanted to do now was to lie down and get him closer to me, have him closer and closer until he never let go, just wanting him near and around me and just wanting him closer as I moved my head a bit to place kisses over his face, pulling him closer.

This was the best night I had and an amazing sleep after that.
