Nono laughed as he saw Tsuna come in. She walked with dignity, that was until Coyote closed the doors and it was just Tsuna, his guardians, and himself.
Tsuna grinned, practically skipping to her grandfather, embracing him in a gentle hug, "Hi Grampa!"
Ganauche laughed, "Aren't you a little old for that kind of action Decima?"
Releasing Nono, Tsuna twirled around pointing a finger at the lightning guardian, "No of course not! I am only 16! Besides, he called me away from having to be with the Varia all week! Oh, and Ganauche-san, I have asked you before not to call me Decima. My name is Tsuna, thanks."
Ganauche faked a wound, "My, my Tsuna! Why you have injured me! How could you tack on a -san to my name?"
"Cause I can~" Tsuna sang, an amused expression on her face
Smirking, Ganauche pointed a finger at the young brunette, "I never expected teenage rebellion from you of all people."
Tsuna frowned, placing her hands on her hips, "If you want teenage rebellion, just wait ten years, I am sure Lambo will be plenty rebellious."
Swiftly putting his hands in surrender, Ganauche quickly denied, " Your guardians are bad enough now, especially Lambo, I would like to see the others maturity but not a teenage Lambo. No thank you, I did not sign up for that"
"You backed out pretty quickly there, Gana" Browie chuckled
Sighing, Ganauche punched the sun guardian's shoulder, "Don't call me that. I also don't see you agreeing to seeing a teenage Lambo."
Nono chuckled, "Tsuna, we might miss our lunch reservation if we stay any longer."
"Well, I guess this is it," Tsuna dramatically proclaimed, curtsying, leading Nono to the door, pausing before closing it, "until next time"
Closing the door to stunned silence, an amused cloud and mist, Tsuna walked to the front door, before turning to her grandfather in laughter. "You saw that right? Visconti, Coyote, and Bouche's expression?"
Amused, Nono nodded, "Indeed I did. It has been awhile since someone has amused them that much."
"Awesome. Mukuro made a bet with me, he said I couldn't do make them smirk or smile." Tsuna laughed, climbing into the car after her, "He just lost."
"Ahh, how is Mukuro? And your guardians?" Nono asked, a twinkle of amusement in his wise eyes
"Mukuro is adjusting surprisingly well to a supportive family. Chrome is slowly coming out of her shell and becoming more confident in herself. I have also finally gotten Lambo to stop referring to himself in third person." Tsuna smiled wistfully out the window, "Our family is so dysfunctional, yet we are still connected and able to work around it. I am glad I met everyone, even means living as a Mafioso, and never living peacefully. I wouldn't change a thing."
"I am glad to hear that." Nono smiled genuinely, "It sounds like you are maturing faster than expected. I am sorry you didn't have a typical childhood."
Tsuna turned to her grandfather, an understanding of the world and wisdom far beyond that of one her age hidden in her eyes, and a genuine smile on her face, "Grandpa. When I said I wouldn't change anything, I truly meant it. Not now, not when Reborn first came, not when we went to that future, not when I was bullied, not when I was little and Mom was sad that Dad never came home, nothing. I wouldn't change anything, because it has made me who I am. The past, it helped me from my ideals, my resolution. Reborn taught me to live my life with no regrets. To do that, I have to take my past - the happiness, the loneliness, the darkest moments- and I have to embrace it as it is. Nothing pushed behind doors in my mind, locked away for all eternity, only to turn into regret in my last moments. I want to hug my precious people, stop their fights, defend them, laugh with them, shed tears with them, be their pillar of strength and hope in such a dark world, go bug the Varia... I just want to live life to the fullest with everyone without any form of guilt in my heart. I don't want to change anything, and won't, because the second I allow myself to do such things, my light will dim. And then what will become to the people I have come to care for so much?"
Nono blinked, a bit stunned by Tsuna's conviction, placing a hand on her shoulder, he smiled, "Tsuna, you are already such a strong, understanding, and wise woman. I am proud of you."
"Grandpa, I am not wise, nor will I be wise enough for a while. I have so much to learn, to experience, things to simply live through. I not strong either, the sky is supported by the elements, and I am also supported by other skies and their families. I do not support myself, but in return support others."
Nono took in this woman in front of him, and brought her into an embrace, "True strength, my dear, is not the ability to support yourself. It is the wisdom to lean others when you have fallen, to acknowledge mistakes; no one is born with the wisdom and knowledge to lead. To know where your loyalties lie, the ability to fight for your ideals and the people you love, and to be able to rise again once you have fallen. That, Tsuna, is true strength"
