Subconscious (Deep with in Alex/Amelia's Psyche)

As her heart breaks and tears trickle down the sides of her face. Alex tries her hardest to keep her resolve as she struggles to go through with a decision, that will not only change her life but the lives of everyone she's grown to care for. Including the Original Hybrid that she's come to love, and to whom she's given her heart to.

"Alex are you sure that this is what you wish to do?" asked Astrid one last time. "It's not too late to change your mind."

Finding her strength and voice through out all the pain she was feeling. Alex takes a deep breath and then proceeds to reply to Astrid's last comment "It's killing me to have to do this Astrid, but I must!" stressed Alex with a sniffle.

"But I thought you loved the hybrid, and him you? Everything looked to be going good so what has you in such a disarray my child?" pressured Astrid. As she tried to get Alex to open up more on the reason behind her wanting to leave.

"I do love him and he loves me, with all his heart." answered Alex with great fondness and care as her mind wanders off to an intimate moment shared between her and her beloved.

"Then what's the problem dear?"

With a shake of her head Alex brings herself back to reality. As she knew that reminiscing on what she and Klaus have would do nothing for her resolve, and in fact just make it harder for her to leave. "I don't want to get in to it. Now are you going to help me or not?!" demanded Alex

Grabbing Alex by the hands, Astrid peers deep into the young psychic's eyes. "I will always be there for you Alex. Before anyone else, YOU will always come first." reassured Astrid "I just wonder if you're running away could not wait until morning?"

"No it has to be now, while he's asleep. Because if I look into his eyes even for a second I'll see all the love he carries for me and then I won't be able to go through with is. But I have to Astrid, I have to." broke down Alex. As she could no longer hold back the tears or the raw emotions that she's been fighting with from the moment she decided to leave Klaus. To the last passion filled night that they both just recently shared, only to then have the young psychic sneak out of bed after the love of her life feel sleep. Brining her to this moment right here, where her love, resolve, and will power are all being tested.

As that particular memory ended Alex suddenly realized that she had no reason to hide or be ashamed of her past. Because if she was still that girl then she would have still been Klaus, and then on top of that had it not been for her past then she wouldn't have turned into the young woman that she was today.

A fighter, and do gooder. Someone who's willing to put her life on the line for a stranger all in the name of justice. True Alex might have had a highly questionable past, but as she's learned on her journey the past doesn't define us. It shapes us into what we are meant to be and she was meant to be a symbol for good after all the evil she's done.

"I left, I left! I didn't stay and continue on my path of darkness. I changed, and in that became someone I am proud to be. So screw feeling sorry for myself, and screw this. DO you hear me Amelia!? I'm not going to let you put me down any more! Play time is up, and so is you're number." said Alex. After rationalizing her life and coming to see that she was in fact a person worth fighting for. Because she changed, and though it doesn't make up for all the lives she's taken, that part of her life has long since been over.

Upon coming to this new resolve and found determination, Alex suddenly notices a faint light off into the dark void. And so with much haste the young priestess ran towards the light.

Foreclosed House

It had been about an thirty minutes or so since Aiden had called Amelia. And even though all of this was to help get Brianna's sight back, the blinded acolyte still made sure to voice her loathing of this plan.

"I still think that this is a bad idea." expressed a still blinded Brianna.

"Yea well it's the only way to get your eye sight back. So though you may not approve we really don't have any other options." pointed out Aiden as he worked on preparing himself for this particular meeting's turnout.

"Ok fine, let's say the wicked witch of the west does give me my sight back. What then huh, what about Alex? Are you just going to give up on her?" asked a now irritated Brianna

"You need not worry about Alex. She's a big girl she can handle herself." explained Aiden

"You didn't answer my question, are you really just going to give up on Alex?"

Now as Aiden thought about how best to answer Brianna's question. He and the blinded acolyte suddenly heard a familiar voice chime in.

"Oh please do answer her. Because I myself am quite interested in hearing your answer." smiled Amelia. As she stood at the entrance of the living room with both Silas and Dillon at her sides.

Salvatore Boarding House

"Maracas Hic Liberal, Conferment Signals. Onus Quasar Tantrum Oxalis, Maracas Hic Liberal Conferment Signals. Onus Quasar Tantrum Oxalis." chanted Bonnie continuously.

As Bonnie went about doing her spell everyone else stood around remaining quiet as to not distract the Bennett witch.

Standing in the middle of Bonnie's circle surrounded by candles was a very impatient and highly impulsive Kol. As he waits to hear that he's no longer bound to the quaint little town of Mystic Falls. Now after a few fire tricks the candles finally blew out. Which was then immediately followed by the Bonnie possessed Jeremy opening his eyes. As he peered at the young and dashing original with contempt clearly visible his stare.

"It's done. You're no longer tethered to the city." replied Jeremy

"That's it? A few flicking flames and an idiotic chant and I'm no longer bound to Mystic Falls?" asked a now skeptic Kol

With a tilt of his head Jeremy's demeanor went from him being tolerable of the original, to now being insulted by Kol's accusation. "You doubt my spell worked?"

"Don't take it personal little Gilbert, but you're no expert in witchcraft." replied Kol

"Then go to the city line and see if you can cross it." rebutted the Bonnie possessed Jeremy.

"Oh I plan to mate, and I'll be taking the good Sheriff along when I do." countered Kol

"What!? No way is my mom going any where with you." chimed in an overly protective Caroline.

"Wasn't really asking for you're permission sweetheart. Besides, I need some kind of an insurance policy." explained Kol

"It's fine Caroline." assured Sherriff Forbes in a motherly tone

"No it's not mom! You've been through enough." stressed Caroline

Seeing how much Caroline was afraid for her mother's safety, added with the fact that Kol wasn't going to leave the Boarding house with out some kind of a leverage. Stefan being the man that he is took a step forward, "I'll go with you."

"What?! Are you crazy? He'll kill the first chance he gets." blurted out Damon

Now turning to Stefan, Elena sets her gaze on the younger Salvatore, "Stefan….no."

"Ahh a volunteer. Now that's more like it mate." smirked Kol

"Stefan , are you sure you want to do this?" asked Matt

"Look guys it's fine. I have faith that Jeremy was able to unbound Kol from the city. Besides he's not going to leave and check unless he has someone to use as leverage, and this way at least it's Liz." explained a logical and ever so heroic Stefan.

Walking over to Stefan, Caroline quickly throws her arms around the heroic Salvatore. "Thank you Stefan."

"Don't mention it. Besides what are friends for." stated Stefan. Before then brining an end to his and Caroline's warm embrace.

Turning to April Young, Kol then compels the baby vampire to stay at the boarding house and keep an eye on Sherriff Forbes. Just incase everything Stefan and his friends were doing was all just part of an elaborate plan meant to get rid of him.

"Shall we Stefan?" asked Kol as gestured towards the door

And so with a head nod and one last look at his friends Stefan began making his way over towards Kol.

"I'm coming along." said Damon before then grabbing his jacket.

As Damon walked up behind Stefan, Kol suddenly appeared behind him snapping his neck with one clean swift motion.

"Sorry darling, but I don't particularly care for you." said Kol as he stared down at the now unconscious Damon. Before then turning gaze back to Stefan. "Plus I only need one of you to make a point. Come now Stefan my freedom awaits." smirked Kol, just prior to walking up to Stefan. And then just like that both Kol and Stefan vamp sped out of the boarding house on route to the city's limit.

(AT THE MYSTIC FALLS CITY LIMIT)

Both Kol and Stefan had just reach the town limits, when Kol suddenly makes a joke about Mystic Fall's city sign that reads 'Welcome to Mystic Falls.'

"Look I get you're all excited about your freedom, but how about you hurry cross over the town border. So we can both see that Jeremy's spell worked and call it day." expressed Stefan

"Are you always this up tight mate?" asked Kol

"Only when I'm around you and your family." rebutted Stefan

"Guess Nik was right about you, you are a Debbie downer." teased Kol before than crossing over the city limits. Looking around Kol instantly notices that he's still outside the town limits, instead of suddenly reappearing in some random part of town.

"Haha it worked mate." chuckled Kol in excitement

"Now that's great and all but aren't you forgetting something?" asked Stefan in reference to the fact that April Young was still compelled to safe guard sheriff Forbes.

"Ahh yes the good sheriff." responded Kol. And so with that Kol burrowed Stefan's cell phone to call Damon back at the Boarding House. And after April was put on the phone, the young original then ordered her to release sheriff Forbes and go about her business thus freeing her from his compulsion.

Following that Kol tossed Stefan back his cell and then abruptly sped off. Leaving Stefan at the town's limit all by his lonesome.

Foreclosed House

After much heated discussion Amelia and Aiden was finally able to come to decision that both parties were willing to agree to.

"Just so we're on the same page. I give Brianna back her sight and you'll stop with all the pesky meddling?" asked Amelia

"Yes." answered Aiden

"Ok, but one more thing. Why were you so adament on getting Alex back?" baited Amelia

"It doesn't matter now cause I'm no longer able to help break free of you. Now please, heal her." stated Aiden as pointed at the blinded Brianna

"So be it." replied Amelia. Just before then setting her judgmental gaze upon her traitorous acolyte Brianna. " Tabhair ar ais radharc na súl" said Amelia in Gaelic. And just like that the cuir pionos ar was broken, and Brianna's sight restored.

It took a few seconds for her eyes to adjust, but Brianna's sight was finally back. "I can see, I can see!" rejoiced Brianna

"Brianna!" called out Dillion as he rushed pass both Amelia and Aiden on his way to his baby sister's side. Passionately pulling his sister into a loving embrace, the older acolyte and his baby sister remained suspended in this position for some time, as they relish the joyous moment.

Turning his attention from the two acolytes back to Amelia. Aiden peers into the other Legacy's eyes in hopes of catching a glimpse of the woman he'd been told about growing up. "What happened to you? You're not the heroic and heartfelt woman that I grew up hearing about." stated a some what hurt Aiden

With an intense look in her eyes, Amelia meets Aiden's gaze. "You're right I'm not that woman anymore, and do you know why? Because she's dead, she died over a thousand and something years ago. Killed by someone meant to keep the balance in nature no less."

"Still, death doesn't change a person, not like this. You're eyes are cold, your aura's dark and you don't give a damn about anyone but yourself. How did you et this way?" asked Aiden

"Yea well some would call this evolution. For I have shed my naïve, obedient, do eyed outlook on life. And opened my eyes to the darkness of the world. And in that darkness I have found peace and a new found strength. That will help me in my goal to purge this world of the disease that's been allowed to take root and fester with in it." stated Amelia with much conviction.

"Wait what?! I though the whole point of you being reincarnated was so that you could once again be with Silas." stated a now confused Aiden

Following a very obnoxious chuckle Alex glances over at Silas and then back over to Aiden. "Is that what everyone thinks, hmm? That I did all this just for the sake of reuniting with Silas?" asked Amelia as she strolled over to the fireplace

"Well isn't it?" asked Aiden

"Not even close. You see I did this to correct a mistake that was made by two of nature's little servants. A mistake that has had greater repercussions than either of them could have ever possibly imagined. As their decision to create an immortality spell has made some what of an unwanted ripple affect on history as we know it. Thus the reasoning for me being here you see, is because I intend on rectifying that horrible mistake." explained Amelia

"How? What's done is done you can't change that." added Aiden

"Now there's where your wrong Aiden. For you see anything that has been done can be undone. And I intend on proving that to you and everyone else by first eradicating the infectious species known as vampires. Then from there I'll destroy the other side, and teach all the witches of this world what happens when you upset he balance." smirked Amelia devilishly.

"And what about Silas?" asked a defiant Brianna. After finally ending her and Dillion's embrace

"He will be made mortal and punished for his crimes of course." pointed out Amelia

"That all sounds good in theory, but how exactly do you intend on doing all this huh? What are you going to do go around hunting all the vampires of the world? And don't even get me started on the other side cause unless you know how Qetsiyah did that spell, or you've figured out a way to destroy a gate that predates even the first ever druids and werewolves. You're shit out of luck." pointed out Aiden

"O ye of little faith my fellow druid. My plan is actually very doable for you see in the case of the vampires I just need to kill four of them." replied Amelia as she demonstrated the number of vampires she needed to kill with her fingers. "And with the death of those four all vampires sired to them will perish. Now as for the other side I have figured out a way to destroy the mystical energy that makes the Kimon Gate, the Kimon Gate. And once that mystical force is removed the once powerful Demon Gate just becomes a regular gate. Meaning…" started Amelia before then rudely being cut off.

"Meaning that you'd be able to destroy it." interrupted a now astonished Aiden. "But I don't get it no one has ever been able to destroy one of those gates before. The amount of power needed to do such a thing is far more vast than any one person can produce, hell not even a family line is strong enough." stressed Aiden.

"Now there is where I agree with you, IT IS to vast for just one family line. But what if I had more then one, lets say hundreds hell maybe even thousands. Then it wouldn't be so impossible, and luckily for me I have access to that many family lines."

"No way!? And even if you did how exactly do plan on drawing magic from countless blood lines?" asked Aiden.

"Well you see luckily for me the powers of a witch and her lineage are all inter connected. So all I need is say one witch per lineage and doing what druids do best. I'll be able to manipulate that connection and draw the power from those family lines past, present, and future." bragged Amelia

"Are you crazy!? Not only is that morally wrong but it goes against everything we as druids believe in. Besides no sense able witch is going to help you siphon magic from there entire blood line, it's suicide! Based on the amount of power you'll need from them most of the witches will die of overuse. And the few able to survive this, won't be able to retain magic for countless generations to come. It's insane no one will agree to this!" stressed Aiden

"I don't need them to. You see I have access to every witch that has died and gone to the other side and with or without their blessings I will go through with this plan. And hopefully this will be a lesson to witches every where, you upset the balance and you pay the price." declared Amelia

"I can't let you do that." said Aiden. Just as he was about to attempt to attack Amelia, but sadly for the male druid Amelia saw it come and countered with an attack of her own.

With out warning Aiden was suddenly sent flying clear across the room where he slammed back first into a wall. Immediately after Aiden struck the wall Amelia cast a spell on the young do gooder paralyzing him from the mouth down.

"Aiden!" screamed out Brianna.

"And now for you." said Amelia. Before then using her power of telekinesis to strangle Brianna as she used her powers to constrict the young acolyte's air way.

"Falling off the couch and on to the floor Brianna let's out a horrifying air constricted gasp.

"Amelia stop!" yelled Dillion after watching his sister collapse onto the floor.

"I'm sorry Dillion but she can no longer be trusted." replied Amelia as she ignored Dillion's request.

Seeing as Amelia was fully intent on killing his sister. Dillion quickly pulls out a knife and charges after the two thousand and something year old druid priestess with the intent to kill.

Noticing Dillion's intent Silas quickly moves to protect Amelia, only to then witness that the priestess is more than capable of defending herself.

Releasing her hold on Brianna, Amelia immediately applies her telekinetic hold onto Dillion, snapping his neck mid stride.

"Dillion!" cried out Brianna as she rushed to her brother's side.

"What a shame, I really liked him." said Amelia callously. Just prior to using her telekinesis to gain hold over the knife Dillion previously wielded.

"You killed him! You bitch!" shouted Brianna as she peered up into the eyes of brother's killer.

Struck with grief and sadness over what he had just witnessed. Still paralyzed all Aiden could do was watch on in horror as he knew Brianna was now next on Amelia's hit list.

"Don't worry dear, I'll spear you the pain of having to go on with out him." ensured Amelia just seconds before propelling Dillion's knife at Brianna's throat.

Finding herself unable to move Brianna watches as her brother's knife came barreling towards her. But just seconds before the knife could plunge it's way into Brianna's throat it stopped, and just hovered in front of the frightened acolyte.

With a confused look now on the faces of both Amelia and Silas, a familiar voice suddenly states. "Now if that's how you treat your friends, I'm sure glad we're enemies."

Setting her sights on the new comer, a look of astonishment now plagues Amelia's face. "Impossible." muttered the priestess

Following a sigh of relief Brianna then turns to see her savior, and as she does the young Warren is suddenly caught in disbelief. Quickly glancing from the new comer to Amelia, and then from Amelia back to the new comer Brianna finally asks. "Alex?"

"In the flesh. Well, sort of." smiled Alex. Just prior to propelling both Amelia and Silas into a wall, as she frees Aiden from Amelia's magic with just a wave of her hand.

As Aiden got to his feet, Alex quickly runs over to where Amelia and Silas were sent flying and says, "ardú bacainn." Trapping the two in a magical barrier that constricts them to a certain portion of the living room, while also preventing both Silas and Amelia from being able to use any of there special gifts from with in the barrier to affect the world outside it.

After walking into the shield, Amelia was instantly hit with a recoil which sent her flying back and into Silas.

"I wouldn't try that a second if I were." taunted Alex

Peering up at her reincarnation a look of hatred and contempt is visibly seen on the priestess's face. "You can't keep this barrier up for long. I give it a day tops." said Amelia

"Which is more than enough time for me to find a way to get rid of the parasite invading my body." countered Alex

Throwing Dillion over his shoulder, Aiden and a still torn up Brianna make their way over to Alex.

"I can't believe you're here." smiled Aiden

"Don't get to happy it's only temporary. And I have no idea just how long it it'll last." answered Alex as she now turned to face both Aiden and Brianna.

"So what do we do now?" asked Brianna as she began wiping away her tears.

"We need to regroup and find a way to eject that bitch out of my body. And I think I know just the perfect place for us to regroup." smiled Alex.

Salvatore Boarding House

Back at the Boarding House the Mystic Falls gang were all taking much needed breather. At this point in time Stefan was already back and Jeremy was no longer under the possession of his dead witch girlfriend, Bonnie Bennett.

And though our heroes knew that there troubles were far from over none of them expected what soon followed.

"Ahh!" screamed Elena.

Rushing towards the kitchen everyone including Katherine is suddenly taken back by the sight of Elena with a wooden stake embedded just centimeters way from her heart.

"Oh my god!" blurted Caroline.

"Elena!" yelled Jeremy as he rushed to his sister's aid."

"Hmm well isn't this a treat." taunted Katherine.

As Jeremy helped Elena remove the wooden stake from her chest. Damon asks, "What the hell happened?"

"It's April, she tried to kill me." answered Elena.

"Wait a second April, but why she would want to kill you Elena?" asked Caroline

"Isn't it obvious?" asked a now irritated Damon

"She's compelled. Kol must have compelled her to kill Elena only after being ordered to release Liz." explained Stefan

"Yea well she failed. Which means she'll be coming back to finish the job." added Damon

And then out of no where a loud scream echoed from the living room and was immediately followed by the sound of someone crashing into something.

With everyone now filing back into the living room. They quickly found themselves greeted by the sight of April Young laid out on the floor, and hovering just over her was non other than Alex, Aiden, and Brianna who were all somewhat covered in dirt.

"Someone lose a vampire?" joked Alex as she was some what happy to once again be able to gaze upon the Mystic Falls gang.
