Kim sat in the copilot's chair, watching as Shego double checked all the settings for their flight. She was miffed that she was not allowed to pilot, Shego putting her foot down. Apparently, her seizures made her a risk.
As if I couldn't stop in time, Kim silently grumbled.
She leaned back in her seat, her eyes drifting to the clear blue sky. It was turning out to quite the day for her. There had been her private admission of desire for Shego, followed by Wade's report on their unknown super-villain. Now, they were off to shop at the world's most expensive mall.
What a difference a week can make in your life, Kim mused to herself.
She watched as the blue sky turned to inky black as the hovercraft shot forwards. At the speed they were travelling, their flight to New York would take no time at all. With her gaze drifting back to Shego, she brought out her kimmunicator. Whether it was a crush, infatuation, or more, she knew she had it bad.
She's gorgeous and can do it all. What am I gonna do? Luckily, Shego seemed too distracted in her own thoughts too notice just yet. She gave a small sigh as she dialed in Monique's number, pressing connect.
"Hey, GF, how'd the makeover go?" Monique asked before Kim could say anything. There was a fanatical gleam in her eye reserved for all things fashion.
"You were right, Mo, it was perfect, but-"
"But?" Monique said, her voice going up a few octaves.
"She added a green choker."
"Damn! Yes, she's right. I'd forgotten you had those."
"Well, you can admire the full effect in about..." Kim glanced at Shego. "We'll be there in?"
"Five minutes," Shego muttered, her attention elsewhere.
"Be there in five, Mo."

Dr. Director walked through the Global Justice satellite base deep in thought. Agent Knight had given her a lot to think about. Since Kim's mission into Buranda, she had given Kim her space. And in that time, Kim had become psychically immune, dangerously so. It was troubling, and she would have to work this all out without any help from Kim.
What a cluster fuck, she thought in annoyance.
She arrived at her black SUV limousine, Agent Wilson standing beside it. She gave a curt nod, and they hopped in. As soon as the car was moving, she turned to her assistant and said, "Report."
"The search and rescue team at the Omega Lair are reporting that the entrance is now closed," Naomi promptly began. She swiped at her tablet, bringing up a new window. "There's no sign of Insertion Team Six's command center or any of their equipment, but the rescue team is seeing signs of drone activity to account for this."
I pushed, and it pushed back, Dr. Director thought grimly. Now it's moving out of the lair. Not good, not good at all. "Have one of our secondary satellite's lock onto the Omega Lair. Any activity is to be reported to me at once, no exceptions!"
Naomi nodded as she jotted down her commander's orders.
"I know Strategic Division One is overworked at the moment," Dr. Director said, "but have them drop everything and focus on the Omega Lair. I want at least a half-a-dozen viable options for retaking the base on my desk in the next forty-eight hours. Also, get our diplomatic envoy up to the lair's back entrance. I want to know what happened to my agents."
"Yes, ma'am," Naomi said as she typed away furiously.
"Has the report come back on the holographic projectors?" Dr. Director asked.
"It has," Naomi promptly replied, scrolling to a new window. "The lair's holo-projectors were definitely not EMP protected when we last surveyed the base."
So, the AI or someone else has been modifying the lair? Just like the secret room and its defense system. If only I knew when our connection to the base had been compromised. Still, we'll know more once we're in control again. She looked up from her musings, Naomi patiently sitting beside her. "Continue," she ordered.
"Currently, there's a worldwide cyber intrusion going on. It's slowing down all internet traffic. Our tech team hasn't been able to pinpoint its origin as yet. Latest updates indicate its simply gathering generic data, no malicious instances yet recorded."
Dr. Director frowned at the news, but gestured for Naomi to continue.
"Operation Jade has missed its mark. The injury sustained by Ms. Possible caused Shego to return to Middleton." She looked down at her tablet. "Right now, she's in New York with Ms. Possible. Our operatives have her in visual range, but she's not making any aggressive moves towards the WNN offices. Apparently-" She tilted her head slightly as she read the report. "Apparently, they're going clothes shopping with a friend of Ms. Possible's."
It's all wrong, Dr. Director thought. We set everything up perfectly. It's not like her to offer no response? "Keep Operation Jade in place," she ordered, "I'll review it again this time tomorrow." She glanced out the window, seeing that they had arrived at Middleton Airport. "Have all of Kim's medical records for the last year gone over with a fine toothcomb. Any anomalies, no matter how small, are to be recorded and followed up on."
"Yes, ma'am."
~o0o~
Shego stared out over the New York skyline, the hovercraft parked on Monique's apartment's rooftop. She knew that the head offices for WNN were not that far away, but revenge could wait. Oh yes! When she had finished with them, they would rue the day they had ever messed with her.
I'm sorry... Rach. What they did to you, us, they have to pay! She dragged her eyes back to her current rooftop, pushing down her maudlin thoughts. "Not bad," she murmured. They were in the garment district, but this particular apartment complex was new and very upmarket. For a disowned high school student freshly arrived in the Big Apple, this was clearly out of Monique's league. More was going on than it seemed, and she bet that Kim had something to do with it.
Her eyes narrowed as she remembered Wade mentioning the transfer of money. Kim and money seemed incongruous in her eyes, but things changed. As she made a mental note to check up on Kim's finances, the door to the roof opened.
'Bout damn time.
She did not bother getting up as the two girls arrived, resting her legs on the side of the hovercraft. She barely registered Kim looking her up and down, her attention solely on Monique. While Kim was still in her casual clothes for this shopping trip, Monique had dressed the part. She wore a short, hot, and rather expensive looking white and black checkered dress. Her legs were encased in heavy black leggings and stylish, lace up boots. Over it all, she wore a thick, fur-lined coat, scarf, gloves, and a beret over her long black hair.
As Kim hopped into the hovercraft, Monique stopped and folded her arms, her inquisitive gaze covering every square inch of Shego's wardrobe. Eventually, she gave a curt nod of approval - a job well done. With the way Shego was seated, coupled with the long slit up the side of her skirt, she was showing off quite a lot of leg. Monique's eyes drifted back to her as she climbed in, the sexy attire doing its job.
"Mm-Mmm, GF, you've hit the girlfriend jackpot," Monique said.
"Mo, c'mon, you know it's not like that?" Kim replied, her cheeks flushing a delightful shade of red. She threw an apologetic look at Shego before turning back. "We're just good friends and-"
"Uh-huh, yeah, so why'd you keep her picture in your locker all those years?"
Kim's mouth opened and closed as she tried to find a suitable response. It was bad enough that Monique was making connections that she had only just figured out, but the amused smile from Shego was making it even worse.
"Mo," Kim whined, "you know I'm not-"
Monique raised a hand, cutting Kim off, and turned her gaze onto Shego. "And you," she said, stepping closer, "whisking my girl away to dinner and a tropical island. I hope you're going to treat her right?"
Kim knew that dazed look on Shego's face. She was half-wearing it herself. Unfortunately, while she had opted to blush, Shego's expression turned into an annoyed frown.
"Listen, you, we're just friends," Shego growled.
"Are you sayin' my girl's not good enough for you!?"
Kim wished she could just curl up and die. Her only saving grace was the look on Shego's face. As Shego stood up, Kim decided it was time to intervene. The last thing she needed was the two women in her life actually coming to blows. She cleared her throat once, twice, to get their attention, then stepped in-between the two of them.
"Mo," she said, resting her hand on Monique's arm, "really, we're just friends." Liar! Muting her inner commentary, she turned to Shego, her fingers coming to rest on her shoulder. "Shego, Monique's just very protective of me. You know what's that like, right?"
There was some strained silence before Shego and Monique silently nodded at each other. Phew! Kim thought. "Well now, let's get some belated introductions out of the way, shall we? She did not wait for their answers, grabbing both their hands and bringing them together. "Shego, this is my best friend, Monique. I've known her since high school. And, Monique, Shego. My soon-to-be kickass sparring partner."

Shego landed the hovercraft on La Maison de Cher's rooftop, barely glancing at all the expensive helicopters. As Kim and Monique looked around with interest, an immaculately dressed valet arrived next to the craft. Without fuss, Shego handed over her platinum, Villain Express card, the attendant doing a quick credit check. With a warm smile, he handed back her card, waving them towards the entrance.
Kim politely thanked the valet, and the three of them headed inside.
Monique's eyes were wide as they traveled down the gilt-edged escalator into the heart of the shopping center. While Kim - and it seemed Shego - had been here before, this was her first time at the most exclusive mall in the world. Monique's excitement was infectious, Kim latching onto her arm as they each pointed out high-end fashion stores.
Seems this was a good idea, Shego thought, watching Kim's happy face. She had been acting strange since they had left the house, but that was all gone now. Against Shego's better judgment, a smile crept across her lips.
"Shego, come on," Kim called out excitedly over her shoulder. She and Monique were heading into the closest store, its glittery, neon sign, working its magic upon the two girls.
Geez, Cupcake, learn to pace y'self.
~o0o~
Shego wandered into the store just in time to see Kim pick up a fashionable, pale pink sweater. When she held it up against herself for comparison, Shego found her gaze meeting Monique's. As one, they both shook their heads, and Kim's fate was sealed.
"No pink!" Monique said firmly as she turned to Kim, lifting the shirt out of her hand.
"Oh c'mon, so I have a few old clothes in my dresser? It's not like it's the end of the world, right?"
"Not hearing you, GF," Monique replied as she crossed her arms. She turned her gaze to her newfound ally in Shego. "You've been through my girl's wardrobe, whaddya think?"
"Hey, no, you can't ask-" Kim began, stopping as Monique's hand came across her mouth.
"What do I think?" Shego replied, her voice filled with innocence and light. Kim rolled her eyes, Shego grinning in return. "I think we should burn it all and start from scratch. In fact." She turned and lifted up a short, hot, and very revealing, forest-green dress. "She should start with this."
Kim's eyebrows rose in disbelief, and Shego felt a warm glow inside. Ahh, Princess, the revenge has only just begun.
Kim gently removed the hand over her mouth, her gaze flicking between Shego and Monique. "Look, I can make my own choices," she grumbled, "and I certainly don't need something like that." She waved her hand at the dress. "I'm just here for a few new tops."
"What on earth gave you that idea? Shego replied. A wary look flashed across Kim's face. "You agreed to your Mistress's terms, remember?" She watched as Kim put two-and-two together in an instant. "So no arguments from my precious little bitch!"
"Mo, help," Kim whispered, turning to her friend for support.
"Uh-uh, GF, I'm on her side for this." She pulled out a scandalously short skirt and pressed it into Kim's unresisting hands. "Seriously, GF, it's time to update everything." She began lifting out stylish and expensive looking clothes from the many racks around them. "Besides, we both know you look stunning wrapped in green."
With a certain color imprinted in her mind, Kim sighed as she wistfully glanced at Shego. Monique and Shego too busy picking out clothes to notice.
"Monique," Shego called out from across the store, "if you can break a hundred thou' for the day, I'll bring you back for your own personal shopping trip."
"You're on!" Monique replied whip fast.
"What?!" Kim gasped, her mouth dropping open at the ludicrous amount. A hundred thousand!? There's no way? Her eyes hunted for a price tag on the skirt she was still holding, finding none.
"If you have to ask how much," Shego's husky voice whispered from behind, "then you can't afford to be at La Maison de Cher."
"Just go with your Green Goddess, GF. She's got the right idea," Monique said. She gently pushed Kim towards the changing room, a pile of clothes over her arm for Kim to try on.
"Green goddess? As if!" Kim huffed as she stepped into the changing booth. Like I'd get down on my knees- She went a lovely shade of scarlet at the erotic thought, it was a shame no one was there to see.
That set the tone for the rest of their shopping trip. They bounced from one wildly expensive store to another. In each one, Shego and Monique would pick out clothes for Kim. Sending her - grumbling - off to try on each and every one of their choices.
They moved through the mall like a shopping tornado, the shops in their wake far richer as Kim's wardrobe grew.
~o0o~
"OMG, GF, look at those shoes!" Monique squealed.
Before Kim could reply, her hand was grabbed, and she was being dragged into the store.
Shego watched them go, quite content to sit this one out. She wandered over to the mall's railing deep in thought, barely noticing the ground floor far below. She had not had this much fun clothes shopping in years. In fact, she had even joined in, purchasing a few choice items for herself. She smirked as she remembered the embarrassed looks on Kim's face each time she stepped out in some revealing new outfit.
It's not just for you, Cupcake, she silently admitted to herself. A few of the outfits she had chosen were based solely on the fact that she could admire Kim's legs … and more.
Eyes unfocused, she was brought out of her sexy reverie as a group of giggling school girls wandered by.
She looked up, blinked, and looked again.
There were five of them, all with raven-black hair and pale green skin. Their clothes and jewelry all of a green and black motif. They each sported a large, black shopping bag with a vibrant green 'S' on the side. Their attention was focused on the contents of each, and as they passed, one of them looked up and spotted Shego. She immediately turned back to her friends, a lot of giggling and thrown glances coming her way.
Shego frowned as she overheard the words 'loser', 'wannabe', 'poser', and 'fake'.
She stared daggers at the girls backs as they walked into a store and, breathing deeply, she released her grip on the now twisted metal balustrade. She was fighting an internal battle. Should she catch up to those giggling, vacuous girls to yell at them or should she continue to enjoy her day out with Kim?
She took a step towards the store, ready to storm in after them, when she heard her own voice say "Doy!" from behind.
She half-turned as a mother and daughter wandered by, the young girl hugging a doll that looked incredibly familiar. It was her - Shego. Prattling school girls forgotten, she watched as the little girl pulled a cord on the doll's back, and it said, "I am not going to let this... she-thing just waltz in and destroy Kimmy! She's my friend! You hear me?"
The hell? Shego thought. I didn't say that! Wait! Why the fuck am I a toy? "Hey, you!" she called out, the mother and daughter stopping. "Where'd you get that?" She pointed at the doll and the black bag emblazoned with a green 'S'.
No way, no way, no way, Shego thought as she stormed her way through the crowded mall, stopping when she spotted her target.
You've gotta be fucking kidding me? There in front of her was a shiny black storefront, the large, emerald-green letters emblazoned across the top said 'Chez Shégo'. Her mouth was open and her eyes wide as she slowly walked towards the store. The display window was chock full of various Shego dolls, Kim dolls, and even Drakken dolls. She could see her image on clothes, mugs, comics, and even a cartoon series playing on multiple television screens. Anything that could plastered with her face or signature colors, it seemed, had been.
~o0o~
"You're sure, Wade?" Kim asked again, real worry in her voice.
"Positive, Kim, she's just standing in the middle of the store. Nothing's broken or in flames, yet."
There's still time, Kim thought as she hobbled quickly through the mall. She wished she had not sent Monique away on a private errand before finding out where Shego was. She arrived at the storefront, her legs aching, and switched into mission mode as she headed on in.
Geez, it's enormous, Kim thought as she looked around the shop. "Wade, where?" she fired off at her kimmunicator. At his directions, she headed off through the store. She quickly gave up looking for raven-black hair or pale green skin, too many of the customers had one or both.
I can't yell out her name in here, she'll be mobbed if she's recognized. I need a nickname for her? She stepped around a woman holding up a black and green swimsuit. I know! A smile lit up her face. "Emerald," she whispered softly to herself.
Passing through a section filled with underwear, she spotted a flash of white, and headed in that direction.
"Hey, you," Kim said as she stepped up next to Shego.
Shego face was surprisingly neutral as she turned. "Kimmie... what the fucks going on?"
Keep it light. Get her outside! Kim thought to herself. "Let's catch up to Monique and I'll tell you on the way?" She took ahold of Shego's arm and tried to steer her towards the exit. Shego was having none of it, resolutely standing her ground.
"Princess?" Shego said, her voice rising.
Kim glanced around, noticing that a few of the customers were starting to pay them some attention.
Uh-oh!
"Talk, Possible!"
Geez! "In there," Kim hissed, pointing at one of the vacant dressing room's. She limped off, knowing Shego would follow. She turned as Shego shut the door, the two of them alone at last. She resisted her instincts as Shego stepped forwards, allowing her the dominant edge.
Kim barely reacted as Shego's arm flashed out, coming to rest on the mirror behind her head. Shego leaned forwards, a questioning frown on her face. Not just for the store, but for their current whereabouts as well.
Quick and to the point, Kim reminded herself, blinking as Shego's exotic aroma threatened to derail her thoughts. She smells sooo good. Dammit, focus! "We were about to be recognized in a store full of your fans." Her lips are so close, I could just- Focus, focus, focus! "And don't freak out, but it was Drakken who started up this franchise." There, done!
Shego's countenance became thunderous at the news. Kim lightly rested a hand on her shoulder in support.
"Can we just leave it for now?" Kim said softly. "We're having such a good time. We can talk about it all when we get home?" She beamed a friendly smile at her, waiting to see if their friendship was strong enough to avert disaster.
"Fuck it!" Shego exclaimed in a strained whisper. With a heavy sigh, she dropped her head.
"Sooo, you're not too angry?"
"Kimmie... I'm furious... but right now I'm just trying to wrap my head around it all."
"Yeah, I understand."
Kim found both her hands had somehow made their way to Shego's waist as they stood there. With half-a-smile, her thumbs began tracing up and down, seeming to bring Shego back to the moment.
Shego straightened up, but neither did she step back out of Kim's gentle hold. "So what now?" she asked, her voice soft yet demanding.
"Now?" I just lean forwards and- "NOW! We head down to Country Club Banana. Mo's gotta be wondering where we are?" It felt like the hardest things she had ever done to let go of Shego, but she did. As they stepped out of the changing room, Kim found her arm slipping through Shego's. She got a strange look in return, but she was not about to let go. Not until they were out of the store without incident.
Phew! Kim thought as they exited the shop without any explosions going off.
Then, it was ruined.
A well dressed woman walked past, heading into the store. She looked Shego up and down, rolled her eyes, and humphed, "Amateur." Kim watched as the thin veneer of civility Shego was maintaining cracked.
What can I do? Kim thought furiously, watching as Shego's hands flickered with green flames. She could not stop Shego in her current condition and talking rationally was so out the window. She needed something quick and physical, yet at the same time shocking. A solution popped into her head, her cheeks flushing at the idea.
I have to, she thought, going on impulse.
As Shego took a step towards the disappearing woman, Kim moved in front. A hand was raised to push her away, but she was faster. She raised herself on tiptoes and leaned forwards, pale green lips meeting hers. The kiss was light, quick, yet she found the world ceasing to exist beyond the caress of the mouth she found intoxicating.
My Emerald!
She was breathing deeply as she pulled back from that wonderful feeling, her eyes fluttering open. Missing the flash of green from Shego's lips as her surroundings swam into view. Her cheeks felt hot as she dropped her head, bangs covering her face. She swallowed and glanced up, Shego's wide eyes staring back at her.
"Hey, um, Shego," Kim murmured, trying to break the silence between them. She could swear her whole body was tingling from the kiss. "I sorta... you know... just needed a way to stop you." Please, please, don't be angry, it was the only way.
"Kimmie, I-" Shego began, reaching up to touch her lips.
Kim stood there quietly as she braced herself for whatever was coming her way, Shego staring into the distance. She was truly worried and, watching Shego's face, she bit her lip. She barely held back a gasp as a shot of pure pleasure flowed down into her chest and along her limbs. It continued on, snaking its way down between her legs. With a silent groan, she dug her nails into her palms, barely aware of anything apart from Shego.
N-Not again? she thought, breaking out in a light sweat, the orgasmic sensations stimulating … everything. Is- is it her glow? She blinked a few times as Shego turned towards her, glad of the distraction.
"Well, Cupcake, that's going to give a few organizations heart palpitations." She flicked her eyes up, Kim turning to follow her gaze. There, above them, was a security camera. "Want to bet that Global Justice wasn't watching?"
~o0o~
"C'mon, Mo, can't we just drop it?" Kim whined as the two of them walked out of Country Club Banana. "It was just one little kiss," she whispered, looking around at the passing shoppers. But it was sooo worth it.
"Can't do it, GF. You've had waaay too much sexy time with Miss Mean-n-Green." Something in Kim's face caused her to pause, and she gave a small sigh.
"Pleeease, not now?" Kim said softly.
"All right, all right, I'll drop it... for now. BUT, we will be talkin' later!"
Kim smiled in relief and gave her a quick hug. "Thanks, Mo."
"So, ya plannin' to use it again?"
"Monique!"
"Sorry, sorry," she said, holding up her hands, "couldn't help ma self."
Together, they walked over to the levels railing, resting all their shopping bags on the floor. Thankfully, all their other bags had been spirited away by the mall's valet service. Kim's growing mountain of clothes waiting to be picked up as they left for the day.
"So where do ya think she's gotten too?" Monique said as she looked over the railing at the ground floor far, far, below.
"No idea." But I'm sure it wasn't 'cause she was thirsty.
~o0o~
Shego whistled tunelessly to herself as she wandered out of the specialty store, her arms laden with shopping bags. She shook her head, still feeling off-balance from that kiss. Kim's improvised takedown had been more effect than any of their previous bouts. She was amazed that Kim had thought to use this tactic at all. In all the years they had fought, she had never considered kissing Kim to throw her off balance. She would never admit it, but she was proud of her.
Miss Priss is growing a pair, she thought in admiration. Still, revenge would be hers. Oh yes! Even if Kim was Learning to play ... dirty.
Dirty, dirty, dirty, Shego thought to herself as she replayed the kiss over and over again. She was entranced by the feel of those soft lips against her own. The way Kim had gently cupped her cheek, fingers sliding along it even as she pulled away. Yeah, Little Miss I Can do Anything, certainly knows how to kiss. I wonder what else- She suddenly gasped and almost collapsed, the memory of a pain-filled scream ripping through her.
"No...!" she croaked out, her grasping hands latching onto something … anything.
The rooftop beneath her feet was dirty, weathered and stained. She could not reach Rachel to save her. She could only watch helplessly as … Blood sprayed the air, Rachel's screams never seeming to stop.
There was a loud crack, and Shego came back to herself, staring down at the broken chair in her death grip. There was also a crowd of shoppers around her, all with worry on their faces.
"Fuck OFF!" she yelled, glaring at them.
She stood there breathing deeply, her hands clenched and shaking. Rachel's screams echoed through her body, her nails piercing skin and drawing blood. The lights of the mall suddenly felt too bright, the crowd too constricting. She was overwhelmed, the screams gaining strength, getting louder and louder. She eyed the railing and the drop on the other side.
A few steps, a feeling of weightlessness, and then blessed nothingness - for a while.
"No..." she whispered, even as she took a step forwards, knowing it would only be a temporary reprieve. After all, she had already tried that … in the past.
A smiling Kim came to mind, the angel of her thoughts and nightmares standing between her and the memories. With a shuddering breath, she unclenched her bleeding hands. Shaking fingers wiped away the moisture in her eyes, and she turned away from the chasm and the blissful succor it offered.
She grabbed her bags and headed off, her demeanor and fists itching to hit someone really, really, hard.
~o0o~
"There's our girl," Monique announced, spotting Shego.
Kim turned around to see Shego walking towards them. She instantly spotted that something was wrong. Shego's gait, her face, in fact her whole body, radiated trouble. As their eyes met, Kim gave her a small wave, Shego barely acknowledging the friendly gesture.
"Mo, wait here," Kim whispered out of the corner of her mouth, her tone brooking no dissent. She strode through the crowded mall, ignoring the twinges from her legs. She had more important things to worry about right now.
"What?!" Shego snapped, as Kim stopped in front of her. She dropped her shopping bags and folded her arms across her chest, her expression wary.
There's blood. Self-inflicted, Kim noted in an instant. I can't ask why, she'll go defensive.
"I think you caught yourself on something?" Kim said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a few tissues. "Shall I?" It was such an obvious lie, and they both knew it. In the old days, Shego would have instantly fired of a sarcastic comment, a fist already flying at Kim's head. Now though, they were friends, and their entire dynamic had changed.
Kim gave her a friendly smile, wondering, would she, wouldn't she? Shego half-turned, giving nothing away, and Kim could almost feel the intense struggle she was going through. To anyone else, Shego's face seemed calm and composed, but Kim could see the inner debate eating her up from the inside. Shego working through more than just her simple offer.
With a deep sigh, Shego's shoulders sagged, and she almost imperceptibly nodded her head.
Yay! Kim silently cheered, keeping her expression neutral. She took a small step forwards, slowly reaching out for one of Shego's hands. There was minimal resistance from Shego as she pulled it towards her, turning it palm upwards. The deep gashes had already healed, but the bloody remnants still marred her skin. Kim did not say a word as she wiped away the blood, moving onto the other hand. Job done, she stepped back and looked up.
You'll tell me when you're ready, Kim thought. So let's change tack. "What's in the bags?"
The question was normal, inane, and it broke the tension. Shego's impassive face and tense posture relented slightly. Yes, Kim was worried for any number of reasons, but pushing Shego - when she obviously did not want to talk - was never the answer.
"It's a surprise" Shego said.
"For me?!" Kim said enthusiastically. Her excitement must have been catching as the hint of a smirk flickered across Shego's lips.
"For you and whoever you decide to share it with," Shego said mysteriously.
Me and whoever?
Before Kim's curiosity could be indulged, Shego picked up all the bags and walked off. Along the way, she had to turn, twist, and raise her arms, defending the bags from Kim. They were not serious attempts from Kim, but neither was she making it easy for Shego.
~o0o~
"What's got my girl all fired up?" Monique asked, watching in amusement as Kim kept trying to sneak a peek inside the shopping bags.
"She wants to know what I bought her," Shego replied.
"She got me another present," Kim said excitedly.
"That's totally fab'. So what ya get my girl?" Monique asked, stepping forwards in interest. "Something nice and expensive I hope?"
"Well, if Kimmie here would keep still for a second." Kim instantly stopped trying to look in the bags. "And she'd close her eyes." Kim closed her eyes, practically vibrating in excitement. "Then I'd show her."
Shego put all the bags down and held up a finger to her lips. Monique nodded in understanding.
Ohhh, Princess, you do make it so easy sometimes, Shego thought as she rummaged through one of the bags. Now where...? Ah-ha! She pulled out a lacy and almost sheer, green and black babydoll. Standing up, she saw Monique put a hand over her mouth, holding back a laugh.
"Hold this," Shego said, resting the spaghetti straps of the sexy nightwear against Kim's shoulders. Kim's face was full of curiosity as she automatically held it in place, the revealing fabric flowing along her body.
"Can I look?" Kim asked.
"One sec," Shego replied, pulling out her camera phone. Damn that looks good on you! Still, this'll teach you to play Barbie with me. "Okay, you can look."
Kim opened her eyes and looked down. Her expression was a wonder to behold.
Click!
"Sh-Shego! Mo! H-How could you-" Kim stuttered out, her eyes wide.
As Shego put her phone away, a huge grin on her face, Monique threw her arms around a blushing Kim and gave her a hug. Kim let out an eep as a group of young men wandered past, letting out a few wolf-whistles. She quickly folded up the nightie and hid it under her crossed arms.
"You said you wanted to get back out there?" Shego said. "So I got you some special clothes for the boudoir."
"N-No way, I- I'm not-" Kim said. "Why on earth would you- I mean, what could you-"
"These are gorgeous," Monique said, holding up the babydoll's matching g-string.
"Shego. Really, I- I'm fine for lingerie. I've got plenty-"
"Don't lie to me, Pumpkin," Shego said, waving a finger at Kim, "I've seen what's in your wardrobe. Boxers and a t-shirt don't count. Not when you're planning on dating again."
"She's right, GF," Monique chipped in, happily looking through one of the bags. She pulled out a sexy red negligee. Kim took a step back as Monique eyed her up and down.
"Mo, no-" Kim said, trying and failing to stop Monique's advance. She took another step backwards, bumping into the railing.
"It's perfect, Monique said, holding the outfit up against Kim.
"Monique, pleeease, I'm dying here," Kim said through closed eyes, her cheeks flaming.
"Oh hush, GF, this is long overdue. You've needed some sexy sleepwear for years."
Time for the coup de grâce, Shego thought, smiling to herself. "Ohhh, and, Princess, I also got you a few fun little items to go along with your new outfits." Kim's wary gaze found hers. "After all, a girl has needs, and that's why all of these." She waved at the bags. "Are for you."
Kim looked down, finally getting a good look inside one of the bags. A discrete box inside was labelled 'vibrator', and the clear frontage displayed the slim, green device inside.
"Shego...!?" Kim's hissed, frantically closing the top of the bag.
"Très kinky," Monique said, leaning over to another bag and lifting out a pair of black fur handcuffs.
Kim spun about, grabbing the cuffs from Monique and shoving them back in the bag. She turned back to Shego, her face quite flustered. "Shego, just... take it all back. I really don't need-"
"Oh no you don't, GF, you're keeping it all," Monique said, pulling out a sexy, bondage-style, black corset and a box labelled strap-on."
"Monique!" Kim exclaimed, trying and failing to grab the items from her friend's hands.
Ohhh, Princess, it's always a good day when I best you, Shego thought in happiness, and you're not getting out of it that easily. She took a step closer to Kim, clearing her throat. "I won't be taking any of it back. If you're too much of a prude to accept, I'll be keeping it all for myself. In fact." She reached down without looking, her fingers coming up with the red satin negligee. "I'll be wearing this tonight."
"I'm not a prude!" Kim growled, lightly stamping her foot.
"It's okay, Pumpkin," she said, patting Kim condescendingly on the head. "Some of us have it." She brought her hand to her chest. "And some of us don't." She winked at Kim.
There was understanding in Kim's face at the turnabout and challenge. A combative spark came to Kim's face as her eyes narrowed, her kimness ruling supreme.
"No! Not happening!" Kim said as she leaned forwards, her eyes locked with Shego's. "You bought all these clothes for me, so I'll keep them. Even... wear them. In fact, I'll prove it. You and I are sleeping together tonight and I'll be wearing." She plunged her hand into a bag and blindly pulled out an outfit. "This!"
All three women stood there quietly as the crowded mall happened around them. They were looking at the black fishnet stockings Kim had pulled out.
Stockings? Shego thought in wonder. She'll be wearing nothing... but... stockings? Eventually, she cleared her throat, her cheeks a dark green. She reached out to touch the small bows around the top of the stockings, catching Kim's eye. "Well... Cupcake... you in just a pair of... stockings? What can I say?"
There was no reply from Kim, she was speechless in shock.
In the silence, Monique spoke up, "Kim, If you don't call me tomorrow with all the sexy details, you and I are going to have serious words!"
Shego leaned forwards and whispered in Kim's ear, "And this is why you don't play Barbie dress up with me."
