I have a bunch of this story figured out! Also, I'm putting an OC in here. It belongs to me! His name's Jesse Hollington. Also, Splashes of Peru is just a figment of my imagination. If there is a restaurant called that, then I don't own it.
This chapter is reasonably long, I guess.
AND OMG! 30 more minutes for the new A&A! I can't wait and yeah, they have it on EARLY for some reason! My dad's letting me have popcorn for some reason! And I can barely eat it! Like, I was running down the stairs shouting, "30 minutes until Austin & Ally comes on!" and so my dad's letting me have popcorn. No idea why. Anyways here's the chapter!

Ally
"You mean you don't know me?"
My voice is filled with sadness, and Austin can sense my pain.
"Am I supposed to?" he asks gently. I nod.
"I'm your girlfriend. Of course you're supposed to remember me."
"Oh."
"Uh, see you later."
I push Austin aside and walk back to my room, and then cry my eyes out.
Why couldn't it have been me who got run over by the car? Why did it have to be Austin who lost his memory? Why couldn't it have been me?
Why?
The next day, when I walk in Austin's room to check on him, I'm surprised to find him kissing Natasha Burke, the very girl that threw me overboard, the reason Austin has no memory.
"What the heck!" I scream.
Austin and Natasha jump apart.
"Okay, what's going on?" I half-ask, half-yell. "Natasha, get away from my boyfriend!"
Austin looks confused. So does Natasha.
"Alls, Austin isn't your boyfriend," Natasha tells me. "Did you get run over, too? I'm sorry if you did."
"Well, if he isn't my boyfriend, whose boyfriend is he?"
I'm bubbling with anger. Of course, Natasha fed Austin some phony story about her being his girlfriend, and Austin bought it.
"Uh, Natasha's my girlfriend," Austin tells me. "Duh. She's my songwriter, too. I don't know you. You just tried to make me believe that you were my girlfriend because I'm a singer and you wanted my attention. Goodbye."
Austin's siblings come to see Austin about an hour later. Everybody goes into Austin's room to check on him, except for Rocky, who visits me to see how I'm doing. Apparently, he's heard about how Austin doesn't believe me when I say I'm his girlfriend.
"Is it true?" he asks.
I nod. "Natasha tried to kill Austin, and not to mention me, and now Austin thinks she's his girlfriend. He doesn't think Natasha's a murderess. But I definitely do."
Rocky tries to give me a reassuring smile, but it quickly fades. "Ally, I never though I'd say this, but I'm sorry about what happened to your boyfriend."
I thought if I ever saw Rocky again, there'd be some kind of weird tension between us, considering what happened in the past, but there isn't. He can comfort me, but we'll never think of each other in a romantic way ever again. At least, I know I won't. I'm not so sure about Rocky, but because of what he said a few minutes ago, I don't think so.
There's an awkward silence between us, a silence that lasts for a few minutes. Then Rocky breaks it by telling me something about Austin.
"He might not get his memory back," Rocky says after a wistful sigh.
"Cool," I say, not really paying attention. "Wait, what!"
"Austin. He might never get his memory back."
"No!" I wail. "You've got to be kidding me!"
Rocky shakes his head, and I burst into tears. I see a look of longing in Rocky's eyes, like he wants to just hug me and comfort me, but he's resisting the urge. Soon his eyes begin to water, too.
"I know he doesn't remember you," he says out loud, "but what if he doesn't remember me? What if he doesn't remember any of us? What are we going to do? He's family, and I won't be able to live if he doesn't even know our names! Not to mention there is no R5 unless we have five members! R4 just sounds lame."
I roll my eyes.
"Really?" I ask. "Your brother just lost his memory, and all you care about is the band?"
"No, of course not. I care about him, believe it or not."
"Yeah, sure."
"He's family. He's my little brother, of course I care about him!"
"I don't want Austin to lose his memory! I love him more than pickles!"
"Pickles! Seriously, Ally!"
Rocky and I are actually having quite a good time, despite the fact that Austin's in the hospital room right next to us, probably kissing Natasha, because he still believes that she's his girlfriend, which she isn't.
Rocky and I start laughing for no reason in particular. it's one of those times where all you want to do is laugh until you can't breathe anymore.
Soon Rocky and I are gasping and wheezing for air, which only makes us laugh even harder. Then I stop, and Rocky stops, too, and we both burst out laughing again.
And then we stop for real.
Although I still feel like laughing, but I tell myself that I can't anymore, that laughing time's over, and my body obeys.
"So," Rocky says, trying to sound cool, "we're going out to some restaurant tonight, the four of us, and Rydel wanted to know if you could come?"
I shrug. "I have nothing better to do, so I might as well."
Later that day, I try to find something to wear to dinner. I mean, I understand it's nothing fancy, but I still want to look at least a little bit good.
Finally, I pick out a white knit vest and a bright yellow knee-length dress with a brown belt around my waist. I put on a bit of ChapStick, since my lips are getting somewhat chapped, and slip on some gold flats. I run my hairbrush through my hair and tuck a little strand behind my ear. I look at my reflection in a mirror and, approving of my look, head out the door to meet Rocky.
When I walk outside, it's pouring rain. My mind happens to drift off a bit, and suddenly Austin appears and takes my hand, then pulls me close to him and kisses me.
But then I snap back to reality and sigh, wishing that Austin and I really did kiss in the rain.
I see Rocky waving at me, gesturing for me to get into the car. I walk over to him and say, "Hi."
Then I slide inside the car and sit down on one of the cloth-covered seats.
Riker's driving, and Ratliff is sitting in the passenger's seat. Rydel's sitting behind him, Rocky's sitting next to her, I'm sitting next to him, and Ryland has a seat in the very back of the car.
Well, it's slightly better than the seating arrangement in the plane coming back from Colorado, where an old lady was trying to get him to hold her dentures.
That actually looked quite amusing, seeing Ryland's disgusted face.
Fifteen minutes later, we arrive at a restaurant called Splashes of Peru. It's reasonably large, with cream-colored walls decorated with a few flowers, which I assume are roses of some sort. There are big bronze doors for the entrance, and overall, the restaurant looks quite extravagant.
We walk through the doors and are immediately greeted by a blond-haired woman named Isabella Hollington. A sixteen-year-old boy with chestnut-brown colored hair gives us a small wave.
"Hi," he says. "I'm Jesse Hollington, and I'm going to be your server for today."
He leads us to a table for six, and we sit down. He hands us all waters and menus, and tells us he'll be back, and then walks away. I open my menu and look at all the food choices there are. Eventually, I decide on a grilled cheese sandwich with a small side salad.
I put my menu down and my eyes dart all around the restaurant, looking at the smooth walls and the glass windows, and then at the ornate wooden tables and chairs.
Soon Jesse comes back and asks us all what we want to eat. We tell him and he walks away. He comes back with our food surprisingly fast, almost in a minute, and before we know it, we're gnawing down on every piece of food in sight.
We're finished in thirty minutes, and I excuse myself from the table and walk over to the woman's bathroom. In front of the door stands Jesse.
"Uh, hi," I say.
"Hey!" he replies, and smiles.
"Can I go in?" I ask. Jesse nods and I slide through the doors, and then lock myself in a stall.
I don't need to use the bathroom, I need to think.
Austin's ditched me for Natasha, pretty much and he thinks that she's his songwriter.
Meaning that I may never write songs ever again, and I'm never going to get Austin back.
I sigh and walk out of the bathroom. Jesse's still standing besides the door.
"Hey, your name's Ally, right?" he asks. I nod.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well, I was wondering. Uh, do you have a boyfriend?"
I know where he's going. Technically, I don't have one, because Austin's left me. So I reply, "No."
"Do you want to go out with me, then?"
"Sure!" I reply. And I don't regret it.
I mean, I don't have anything better to do, and when Austin gets better, I'll simply break up with Jesse.
I know, I'm his girlfriend now.
But it's just to get my mind off things.
Okay, so give me awhile to write the next chapter. I have my really irritating writer's block that I just can't shake off. But hen I finish the chapter, I'll post it, 'kay? Anyways, I hoped you like the chapter!
Review! Please! :)
I AM SO EXCITED!
