That day, I lost my mother and my sister in a car accident… and a father that went missing for years… ended up being a figurine doll, all this time imprisoned within. Each of them… All dead…
All the times that I've been picked on and rumored… by everyone that treated me all the same… Before I came to Domino… and everyone that hurt my feelings because of my curse… because of my curse after I lost my family and I was on my own… Every time, it was always the repeating… the same similar treatment I always get. Everyone hit me hard to the dirt, people that backstabbed me… betrayed my trust… People telling me to stay away and warned to others how dangerous the white haired boy is… Placing people in comatose… putting them to insanity… harming others because of the Ring… The artifact that was given by my father… All those years before I came to Japan… are now crumpled… and forgotten…
All the friends I gained and met in the past… when I arrived in Domino City… All the adventures that I went through with them for years… landing myself in more trouble… because of the Millennium Ring… and that everyone… like Yugi… every one of his friends… almost got injured and hurt because I didn't stopped it… that I wasn't strong enough or to keep it prevented… just as I wanted… The friendship that I gained with them… and being on their side… to think they would be different… that it would be different comparing to everything I went through before… but then again, for some reason, I was wrong. Everyone that I used to be with… all left me one by one… Everybody that used to be with me… are now split apart and no more… All are now broken shards of glass and worn out memories… and yet… Why… is that no one wanted to stay or to keep the friendship forever as promise? Why… must it end like this?
All the things that I thought… went rotted to the ground… and what do I have left? All I have left… All I have what's left is only me… Just me, all alone within the dark. All I have is nothing… I have nothing… nothing at all for myself. I have nothing to hold or to cradle anything in my heart. Everyone is gone and there's no one left… There's no one left for me… and that no one can help...

I just… couldn't explain… not in front of him. I couldn't even if I did. I just didn't mean to… is what I explained to him. He only frowned and said that whatever happened… I should have never arrived to the hospital. The truth is… is that I couldn't admit what I did… to Yugi Moto. I sort of lied and told him that… he went home. He went home by himself… and Bakura said that it was acceptable.
Yet… I kind of feel ashamed of myself. I can't believe I lied in front of him. I can't believe that I actually didn't tell completely to him. I couldn't… as my heart twisted in a knot. My heart… got tainted badly inside. I couldn't tell him at all. I couldn't and I… felt guilty.
I told him… not to worry about Yugi. I told him that he was safe from harm… due to the man's instructions. He told me not to say the truth… or my Yami will be gone… forever. He wants to end my time being with him… and I can't tell him why. I can't tell him at all… or even about what happened to Yugi as well. All I know… is that I shouldn't… have been going out. I'm now in danger… for trouble. I'm deeply in so… much trouble.
What am I to do… for the fact Yugi got buried? What am I to do with the fact about him being in pieces? What am I to my Yami… or that man? Who am I to Yugi… or his friendship? Who am I… for anything? What am I… for being an idiot… of listening to a murderer? What am I going to do? What can I do?
All I know… is that there is danger coming their way. All I know… is that I don't want to… face the consequence. I just wish I take it all away. I wish I didn't do anything… like going to the hospital… or even to be in the hills of Domino… in the pouring rain. I just want… to forget about it… and go home. Explanatory Citations:
[1] Note this: I cannot explain narration at this point of the chapter that much. When I was progressing my writing through this chapter, I decided to keep it in dialogue and thoughts since its Ryou's point of view. In other words, he can't narrate since it's blocked and he can't talk straight. In the story, while Ryou is struggling and listening by force, he can't narrate at all as the servant of the under lord enforcing him by will. Ryou's trying his efforts to remain in state, yet it wasn't enough. He was little in peril… and in less mental state.
[2] As Ryou struggles, there was something missing… about Yami Bakura. He watches Ryou struggling to be in state… however, he couldn't talk at that point due to the lack of connection. Although by that, Yami Bakura can't talk, yet…He watches miserably and sadly. Note: Be aware that there will be side story that will explain about Yami Bakura's behavior after chapter 28. Ryou then lost his mind… being controlled and a little possessed by the boy.
[3] The scene is cut to a connected afterwards. In the scene, the boy is speaking directions to Ryou while they were in front of the hospital. During the scene, Yami Bakura watched helplessly as Ryou continues listening to the boy. He sneakily entered the hospital… although he is not allowed to return according to the previous chapter. He disregards the warning that he had from chapter 26 and maneuvers the nurses and doctors. He was not caught though… and found Yugi's cubicle. He was blank as he done so… because the boy was most likely "pulling the strings".
[4] Yugi heard the sound after Ryou knocked while being blank. Ryou then spoke in a forced way.
[5] The servant then disguised his voice to blend like Ryou's.
[6] In the scene, Ryou is getting more out of state… and lost his head completely. He then spoke that he didn't know what to think anymore.
[7] In the scene, Ryou temporarily narrates because he was a little in state of mind. Although so, it was because the counterpart punished him to watch. The man wanted Ryou to see… yet, he can't tell since the boy blocked some parts, blacking them out.
[8] The man was angered at Ryou for struggling and he wanted him to forcefully listen hard of his threat.
[9] Ryou couldn't talk well during his narration. He can't speak well because of the forced control.
[10] In the scene, controlled Ryou peeked out a little of the stained sheets. Yugi is sensed injured, yet… he's able to speak within the tangled sheets.
[11] In the scene, Yugi is trying to take Ryou's hand. He then struggled through carrying Ryou while he's wounded. During it, he climbed as he dragged Ryou up the hill of Domino, talking to him worriedly.
[12] As Ryou said this, he was fighting back the control from the counterpart as they went up the hill.
[13] Ryou went completely out of mind. The counterpart took full control and banished him temporarily.
[14] Yugi got attacked fast. He got assaulted and the details will be mentioned in the next content, side story 10.
[15] The counterpart spoke sadistically before telling controlled Ryou to cut him in the tangled sheets… this time by slicing him to pieces. He then silenced Yugi, stuffing him in the sheets so he can suffocate. Ryou then went away with the counterpart before he came back to his mental state.
