XXXVI-Caution Icy love conditions
Tai grinned at the Pokeball holding his new Espurr. Rio happily skipped along behind him. Meowth on the other hand trudged behind them.
"Are we dere yet?" He groaned, his tail and arms dragging behind his feet on the ground.
"Almost, and no we can't rest. We just rested an hour ago." Tai replied as they made their way in the forest. Which was finally starting to thin out.
"Okay so what's da limit before resting?" Meowth asked.
"Well judging by my watch and the position of the sun...Dinner time." Tai replied.
"What?! What about Lunch!?" Meowth whined.
"Well I would stop for that but somebody ate a bunch of our food." Tai replied glaring back at him.
"Raf!" Rio barked glaring at him.
Meowth sighed. "I get it." He slumped over and dragged his feet as they continued on. Then they heard a bush rustling in the near. They glanced over surprised to see a Lucario carrying some bags and running off towards a nearby location.
Tai stared in awe, "I know that Lucario….Rio let's go!" Rio barked and the two raced off.
"Hey wait for me!" Meowth shouted as they raced to keep up. They followed the Lucario until a clearing where two humans, a Sneasel, a Quilava and a Zoroark. All sitting around a fire and it seems that one of the humans was cooking a meal.
"David is that you!? Tai called as he rushed over.
"Huh?" He looked over. "Hey if it isn't Tai!" David called surprised to see the young boy as he raced over with his Riolu. Meowth bringing up the rear. "You're looking well. And I see you got a Meowth. You know that they can be reliable once properly trained."
"He's not my Meowth." Tai quickly replied.
"Then who does he belong too?" asked the other human a female girl, with the Sneasel on her lap. Who looked rather bored; "Also hi, how are you doing?" she asked cheerfully.
"Uhhh well….To be honest….I'm not sure who he belongs too. He's always with two people I'm trying to get him back to but...I don't know which one of them are his trainer. And It's good to see you Sheba." Tai happily replied.
The Lucario put down the bags and David took them and reveals them to be food "You're right on time. We have a soup." David told them.
"Sweet I'm starving!" Tai said rubbing his belly. Rio barked in agreement.
"Don't forget to give some to Meowth!" he added making Tai and Rio freeze.
"Like I said not my Meowth…." Tai muttered.
"We are not letting anybody starve" stated Sheba. "Though if Mira were here… well… things might have been difficult."
"Mira?" asks Meowth in wonder.
"My Milotic… she is currently with a friend of mine. Who is doing some photo shooting with different Pokemon… And she is very… well… let's say she is very proud beyond reason." explained David while handing the Pokemon a bowl. Once everybody had a bowl he sat down, and wanted to say something… before he turned back to Meowth ."You can talk?"
"Tis a long story…" Meowth replied.
"Ok…" muttered David, deciding not to ask more. The Sneasel looks at him and spoke to him.
"Hmm," Meowth asked staring at her. "A Meowth named Meowsy….who said I freak now because of it." he sighed.
"Honestly she wasn't worth the time. If she's gonna hate you, no matter what you do." Tai replied simply. Rio crossed his arms nodding in agreement.
"I think it is very impressive," stated David. "Whenever I wanted to talk to some of my Pokemons, I had to get a psychic type first for translation or having Riku writing things down."
Riku took a panel out of David's bag with some chalk and wrote down. "And it was a pain to learn how to do so."
"Whoa I didn't know Riku could write!" Tai said in amazement.
"Ehh if that's what you like." Meowth shrugged. Rio barked at him with an annoyed and accusatory look.
"I am not jealous!" he snapped.
"Let's say… Sheba had the idea and Riku instantly picked on it. Since he already made a lot of drawing as he was still a Riolu." told David
"And these drawings are cute! We still have them! Back home and in digital storage." Sheba added smiling. "And it clearly helps to communicate when we ask him to go shopping for us."
The Quilava chuckles loudly and turns to the Zoroark, talking to him a little. A smirk comes to the dark type and reaches for his mane… only for the Sneasel to glare at him and with a gulp he never got to do what he wanted.
"Fair warning: Sora here can write as well… and is very talented with tools. But he is also a mad prankster." Explained Sheba, April didn't listen and instead asked Meowth something else.
"NO AM I NOT JEALOUS!" Meowth snarled looking away with a Hmph causing the sneasel to laugh.
"Wow! A cat who makes her laugh, instead of making her angry. And I thought we never see that wonder." chuckled David. At the looks of Tai and Rio, David explains. "She has a bad temper… sometimes I wonder if her father was a Mankey or so."
"My bet is still Primeape." countered Sheba, "Even if it is the same evolution line."
"I see…" Tai replied looking at April as Rio stepped back from her a little. This time it was April who crossed her arms and made a Hmph sound. As she did Meowth noticed she looked very cute when she did.
"So…" began David while eating "How is your training doing?"
"It's going well a lot of my Pokemon have evolved. Geon's one of my strongest Pokemon right now."
"Geon?" asks Sheba. "Sorry but while you see all of the Pokemon, David has with him here. We don't know yours that well."
"Are you not a trainer?" asks Meowth towards Sheba who giggled "no… for quite a reason."
"Which is…" Meowth pryed.
"Hey she has her secrets we have ours." Tai replied to him simply.
David nods and wondered. "Until Rio evolves… ever thought of using an Evolite?"
"Evolite?" Tai asked.
"A stone that Rio could wear to boost his defense and special defense," explains Sheba. "But it only Works on Pokemon who can still evolve."
"Intriguing," Tai replied very interested.
"Hmm if I could take dat evolite dan maybe…." Meowth smirked but Tai saw him grinning.
"Whatever you're thinking don't!" Tai snapped. Meowth instantly looked away whistling. David looked at the two. While the Quilava stood up and points proudly at his necklace… which holds two stones. An everstone and a second stone a small egg shaped purple stone.
"Is that the Evolite?" Tai asked looking closely at it.
"It is," David confirmed. "IgVa here doesn't want to evolve. So I got him an Everstone… and later we found this Evolite. I got a second one but… I'm reserving it for the Eevee we are after."
"Well if you want it for an Eevee than you keep it. But maybe I can help you find that Eevee?" Tai suggested.
"I am more inclined to get this grey Eevee to get my band back" stated Sheba.
"Grey? I thought Eevee's were brown" stated Meowth
"Sometimes Eevee's can hatch with grey fur," replied Sheba. "And this one stole my necklace and now wears it as belt."
"Just three days after we got, it." added David. "It was a birthday present for Sheba. I found this funny looking stone and found it looks nice on her."
"Funny looking stone?" Tai asked himself wondering if it was a Mega stone. Could Latias Mega Evolve? "Then let's get back!" he told them.
"Raf!" Rio agreed.
"Perhaps we'll have better luck then. We've been her for a week now," Sheba explained. "And believe me! It is quite something to escape the Aura Abilities of a Lucario that long," she added. While Riku was suddenly more interested to look at the sky as his failings were mentioned.
"Alright!" Tai replied grinning and pulling out a Pokeball. "Geon come on out!"
POP! The Shiny Flygon roared in the as it materialized in front of them.
"Neat!" stated David "that way we might track it."
"Okay Geon we're looking for a Grey Eevee. Think you can help us find it?" Tai asked. Geon let out a roar and took to the skies searching around for it. April jumped off Sheba and cracked her claws.
David nodded, "before we go… does anybody want a Honey Bomb?" he asked.
"That sounds good yes please!" Tai happily said. Sora grinned and reached into his mane while IgVa raised his paw and Sheba expressed interest as well. And the Zoroark pulled out bombs and tossed them to each other.
Tai gives one to Rio and they both try to eat theirs. Everybody who had one, cracked the cartoon looking bombs open and ate their contents. Sora even pulled an extra, large one out… one that shouldn't be able to fit into the dark type's mane… Tai and Rio finally cracked theirs open and began to eat happily enjoying them.
Once they were finished, David looked at Riku "Think you can sense either the Flygon or the Eevee?" he asked. Riku nodded and began to concentrate, while Sheba quickly packed everything together so they wouldn't leave anything behind.
Meowth meanwhile was trying to figure out how to talk to April. The Sneasel was scratching on the wood in the boredom and keep herself occupied to… prevent hot moments. She seems to need something to put her attention on.
"Uhm… hi" began the cat, getting the attention of the Sneasel. She looked at him, wondering what he wanted.
"Never seen a Sneasel like you before. The others I have seen were not so outgoing." he stated putting his hand behind his head and blushing. The female eyed the cat and smirked, speaking a few words asking if he was flirting.
"How do know I was flirting?" Meowth yelped.
She carved a number into the wood… 6. Meowth just stared in shock. She laughed and winked with a few words, causing the cat to blush. He sighed feeling his heart flutter. Geon roared down towards them.
"Geon's found something let's go!" Tai shouted. They all rushed off to follow the Dragon type with Meowth who just floated in the air fluttering after Tai.
Sheba looked after Meowth and looks at April. "You told him about-" but the Sneasel shook her head. Causing the girl to sigh loudly while the two run after Tai with the rest of the group.
"I think I see it through there!" Tai stated pointing through some bushes. They watched carefully to see and Eevee sleeping on its side with some kind of Choker wrapped around it's waste.
"There she is" whispered David, looking carefully. "Now to the hard part…Defeating it without damaging the goods."
The Eevee rolled over and Tai could see for sure it was indeed a Mega Stone. But before anybody could decide on a course of action, Riku suddenly jumped out of the bush and rushes towards the small normal type with Aura Sphere being ready.
"Riku, Wait!" called David but the Lucario already shot the attack. And it seemed it would hit… But the Eevee was already wide awake from the rushing Pokemon and blocked the attack with Protect. The attack exploded harmless on the shield that surrounded the normal type before the Eevee disappeared into the ground.
"Not again!" shouts David "IgVa! Dig!" The Quilava didn't waste time and dug into the ground; Hoping to catch the elusive Pokemon.
"Rio follow IgVa!" Tai commanded.
"Raf!" Rio shouted as he rushed into the hole the two left.

He found himself in a decently sized tunnel where he could stand up. Then using his aura sense, as best as he could he raced down the tunnel, he ran as fast as he could. He was thankful so far it was a single tunnel.
"Okay….where'd they go?" Rio thought to himself as he found the tunnel going up. He could see a light and climbed up. "IgVa! You find it?"
"It led me to a nest of a Scolipede and its pre-evolutions!" shouted the fire type before unleashing a flame thrower.
"WHAT?!" Rio cried as he saw the towering Scolipedes, Whirlipedes and Venipedes growl at them. "But how you must have been following it right?! Is it here?!"
"She hiding in the tree over-looking the nest." told IgVa and shoots a Flamethrower at a Whirlpede that tried to attack them. Rio looked over and saw that the female was indeed there…but it was unclear if the bug types, knew about her presence.
The fire type jumped to avoid a poison needle attack "An Airstrike with Draco Meteor or so would be helpful here." IgVa shouted.
Suddenly coming in from above with Dragon rush was Geon who slammed into all the bug poison types with the full force of the attack. "Thanks Geon now's my chance!" Rio called rushing over to Eevee.
But she noticed him and ran. "Wait stop!" Rio called as he chased after her.
"Forget it!" she called back and kept running. While deploying a Sand Attack as she got to a good spot to use it up quickly.
Rio growled as he tried to keep the sand out of his eyes and move forward. "That stone isn't yours! You have to give it back. You're stealing it!" he cried.
"Finders keepers, it's her fault to let it lie around while washing that crazy dark type." She giggled while keeping running, changing direction.
Rio growled and threw and Aura sphere at her. She yelped as it rushed at her. Jumping around she quickly tried to get a protect move up. She managed to do so blocking the attack.
Rio had taken his chance to get in close and grabbed her, "caught you!"
"Let go of me!" she shouts and tried to hit him with her paws and bite him.
Rio wouldn't let go and tried to keep hold of her, trying to call to Tai as loudly as he could. The Eevee struggles more "I WON'T, BE A TROPHY!"
She suddenly blasts him with a hidden power that sends him across the field causing a small skid in the ground and then ran off. Rio groans as he gets up. "Won't be a trophy what does she mean?"
"Rio are you okay!?" Tai called from the group rushing up to him. The Eevee froze for a moment before rushing off, followed by Riku and Sora.
"Where is IgVa?" asks David, noticing the lack of the fire type. The Quilava groaned as he appeared exhausted from battling all those bug types he collapsed in front of them.
"IgVa!" shotus David and rushed over to his pokemon, picking him up. "What happened?" The fire type groaned pointing at something tiredly. Causing April to be on edge and looks at the direction her team mate came from.
IgVa chattered to April. She could see a bunch of Sciolopede growl before moving off. She grunted pointing over towards where the nest was.
"She's saying dat Eevee lead them through a Sciolopede nest."
"Something I do not envy happening to anyone. Those Bugs are nasty!" Sheba agreed. Rio tugged on her dress. "What is it Rio?"
"Ruuuaaa raff bark!" he stated she and Meowth listened as he went on. "Rio what is it?" Tai asked.
"She said something about not being a trophy." Sheba stated, "Whatever that means."
"Where would a Pokemon be a Trophy, outside of Pokemon Hunting?" Tai asked.
David hummed crossing his arms. "Poachers, rich guys who want to show off and of course Team Rocket. All of them had interest in an grey Eevee. But that way, it sounds she is especially chased by somebody."
"But credit to that fox. Escaping by presenting a bigger problem is not often done by Pokemon who want to escape." said Sheba.
"That's sad. No wonder she doesn't trust anyone." Tai sighed. "But still doesn't explain why it stole from Sheba and wears it as belt."
Rio sighed grumbling a little Meowth turned to them. "According ta Rio here, she said finders keepers. And that it's Sheba's fault for leaving it lying around."
Sheba growled. "That's not fair I only put it down for a second! It's still mine!"
"Don't worry we'll get it back. We just have to find where Eevee went. And try not to have her trick us again." Tai assured.
"For that we have to follow Riku and Sora" nodded David. April got what this means and already dashed forwards.
"Hey! Wait for me!" called Meowth and followed her.

As the group rushed through the forest, Rio was ahead of them trying to sense for an Eevee. He barked at Riku to help he nodded and moved ahead. The two worked together to sense the Eevee.
Riku suddenly let out a howl as he got a sense and rushed off. He was going faster this time as he and Rio felt that the Eevee was not alone… and that the ones with her were humans.
At the moment the Eevee were backing away carefully. As she was confronted by three humans and several Pokemons surrounding her… and she was backed at a cliff. The only escape route was to jump… but then the Braviary with them would catch her.
Tai quickly pulled a Pokeball from his belt. "Geon go help Eevee!" Geon appeared from his Pokeball and flew forward but stopped when attacks were rushed at him.
"Stay out of our way!" told the leader of them, and from the clothes he doesn't look like the regular bandit or so… it was one of these rich snob trainers.
"The way you are hunting that Eevee is illegal!" called David.
"Also I recognize these two as Pokemon Poachers! They don't catch Pokemon! They want their fur!" exclaimed Sheba, glaring at them.
"Well they can't have it!" Tai snarled.
The snob huffed "Do you know how valuable shinies are? It is a waste of time and money to let them on the Pokemon. Stuffed they withstand time."
"The Pokemon's better off alive and happy!" Tai snarled.
"Happy? For that a Pokemon must be able to have emotions." Sneered the snob "They are just creatures we humans can hunt as much we want."
"THEY ARE NOT!" Tai shouted angrily.
David growled, "I'll make you eat these words... "
Without a command Riku stormed forward and tackles the houndoom of one of the poachers while Sora snarls and goes after a group of Durant belonging the other Poacher.
April snarled and rushes up but was intercepted by a Blaziken. A female one to the sneasel's dismay. And she was quickly dominated by Fire Punch.
"I won't let you get away wid dat!" Meowth shouted jumping forward. "FURY SWIPES!"
Blaziken merely waited for him to come closer. Then used Fire Punch knocking him into the ground. A bell could be heard as he laid there smoking with a fist mark on his face, as Rio and Tai sighed and shrugged; Although it bought April the time to latch on the back of the fire type.
She then started to use Crush Claw on it's back. It screamed in pain and thrashed around eventually getting April off and throwing her back to the others.
The snob huffed and sent out a Hydreigon.
It roared as it materialized. "Hydregion deal with these meddlers!" He shouted and pulled out a walky-talky "To all units! Get to my position! We have meddlers! Get all Pokemon here! Their skins might bring something."
"WHAT?!" Meowth yelped. "But I don't eat often! But when I do I gorge myself you don't want me!"
The Man wasn't listening instead he turned to the Eevee and smirked at it. "Well… time to get you. Your pack made this much more difficult than it should be. And your constant running didn't help." The Eevee shivered and backed off more in fair, whimpering for help.
"Rio, use aura sphere on that guy's back!" Tai commanded.
Rio nodded and growled charging up the attack and sending it forward. It exploded on his back and he turned growling at them. "You are such a pain in the butt! Hydreigon! Deal with them!"
The Dark/Dragon Pokemon roared and rushed forward to attack Rio and Tai. But before it could reach them, Sheba was in front of the dragon.
"Sheba!" Tai cried.
"I knew girls were dumb, but this takes the cake!" laughs the snob before his dragon was pushed back by a dragon pulse.
"What the?" he asked but his eyes widened as Sheba shone brightly and revealed herself as a Shiny Latias, glaring at them.
Meowth stuttered in absolute shock. "What, she, dat, just what, who? AGAAAHHHH!" He screamed pointing.
"Pretty cool huh?" Tai smirked.
"Shiny Latias? That will be very big sell! Hydregion, destroy them!" he stated. The dragon type roared and rushed against Sheba, who used her speed to avoid him.
Turning to the Eevee, the snobby hunter smirked. "Seems you are not the only trophy I'll get today!"
April at this moment countered a fire punch of her opponent with her ice punch attack. While Riku was pushed back, by a strong flamethrower from the Houndoom.
Sora on the other hand, was mostly dodging the attacks of the Durant's; as the Zoroark couldn't get in a good position to counter the rushing tactics of the steel/bug types. Or play out his illusions as he needed a moment to concentrate.
Tai noticed this and grabbed a Pokeball. "Blaze use Flame Burst to help Sora!"
POP! "CHAR!" The Charmeleon shouted as he landed and unleashed a big fire ball. That flew towards the Durants. They yelped eyes getting bigger than their heads, as they were hit and engulfed in fire while flying through the air. When they landed the landscape looked vastly different.
Sora Smirked and his eyes flashed and any Durant that were, left suddenly found themselves standing on unstable rocks above a lava field. Terrified from the view, they didn't dare to move, to avoid them being burned to death. Or so they think. Sora looked at the fire type and with a grin he offered a fistbump.
Also two more poachers, arrived the field with their Pokemon… and David recognized them. "Those two they tried to catch Sheba when I first met her!"
"You?" asked one of the hunters. "Thanks to you we lost the Latias!" He growled while sending out his Pokemon, a Tyranitar while his partner followed with a Haxorus.
"We won't go down that easily!" Tai declared, "Rio use Aura sphere!"
David looked over to Eevee, who was terrified by now and was beginning to forget where it was as it slowly moved back.
"Watch out!"" called David, running over, going low to not be hit by any of the flying attacks. He just got over as the Eevee miss-stepped and was losing her footing. She screams while falling but was confused as she suddenly felt grabbed and pressed against something. She looks up and saw David was holding her… while holding on the cliff.
"David Meowth go help David I've got to hold them off!" Tai shouted.
"ME?!" Meowth sputtered.
"Yes you, get going!" Tai snapped.
"I could need a hand to get up again!" called David, starting to lose his grip. Tai also saw that Sheba having trouble with her draconic opponent. He sent out Geon.
"Use Dragon rush!" Tai shouted.
"RAAUUUHHH!" Geon shouted ramming into Hydregion and knocking it into a tree.
Meanwhile Meowth was trying to pull David up. And struggling he was holding onto his wrists with both paws while the claws on his feet tried desperately to give him hold. "RRGGG SO WHAT'S IN YOUR DIET BACON!?"
"I rather question the idea of sending you to get me up." stated David as he tried to hold Eevee up. "Help her climb up, Sheba!"
The Latias heard him and asks Geon "Can you take him for a moment?"
"Yeah," Geon replied switching out with her. Before Hydregion could stop her he was met with a Stone Edge from Geon. She rushed over and helped him up to the cliff. Meowth slid down in relief.
"Horaay…" He muttered exhaustively. Thought in the corner of his eyes he saw that April gave him a wink with a grin before going back combating the fire chicken.
David pants and looks at this dragon/dark type and he stated. "Any suggestions how to get a power boost for one of our Pokemon, I am open for suggestions."
"My Charmeleon has Solar Power so if you could get the sun to shine brighter…." Tai replied.
"I have nobody with sunny day or drought," admitted David. Tai growled but then he noticed the center of Sheba's choker it was indeed a Mega Stone.
"We need to give Sheba back her choker!" Tai replied taking it from Eevee and throwing it at Sheba who caught it confused. David then found Tai's Keystone in his hand. "Say Sheba Mega evolve and touch the Keystone in my pendant!"
David and Sheba look at each other before the Latias glared their opponent and gets ready for it while putting her choker back on.
"Ok, Sheba, Mega Evolve!" David told and grabbed the Key Stone tight. The Mega stone and the Keystone began to glow brightly while four beams erupt from each of the stones and as the beams connected, Sheba began to shine brightly and her form grew and changed.
Sheba let out a scream as the transformation was complete. She was now a green color instead of golden and the legs of hers have grown in size while the wings of her body had moved to her arms she was now holding outward and pointed back.
"Cool!" exclaims David while the Tyrranitar and the Haxorus were rushing at the Mega Latias… Only both being shot at their trainers by Dragon Pulse from her before she began to speed forward the Hydreigon.
April just managed to throw the Blaziken she battled against a tree, knocking it out. The Houndoom on the other hand found it's fate as RIku had slammed an high powered Aura SPhere into the fire/dark types body sending it flying across the field hitting a tree as well. The Lucario was on one knee afterwards panting while burn marks are all over his body.
"Riku you okay?" Tai asked. He barked in confirmation. "How's Sheba?"
They saw that Sheba was holding her own very well against the Hydreigon. Thanks to the boost she got from the Mega Evolution. And after a speedy crash into the Dragon type, the opponent Pokemon was hitting a rock, cracking it from the impact. And Sheba shot in the air and reposition to face the mon. With a roar a large orange energy ball formed between her arms.
David stepped back. "Sheba is angry… very angry." Riku nodded in agreement while stepping back. Sora noticed the prepared attack as well, grabbed Blaze and ran from the remaining Durant, which was looking after them in confusion as Blaze shouted to be put down.
Looking at Tai, the trainer of the Latias asks "How much of a boost gets Sheba from this? It's only when she is angry she manages to unleash Draco Meteor…"
"Umm well, I can really only give you a vague answer. But uhhh I have a friend who measured the power of a Mega Lucario. And the power of its Bone Rush doubled….."
"So at least….we can see a two-fold power increase?" David asked.
"Might be more, considering she's a Legendary Pokemon," Tai replied.
"So are we gonna die?" Meowth asked.
"Most likely," Tai replied simply.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!

An angry fury of giant fiery meteors raged down towards the Hunters, leaving a burst of light particles and smoke so great. It was seen all across the Kalos Region.
"I wonder what that is?" Ash asked as he and his group stared at it in awe.
"Whatever it is it's pretty." Bonnie muttered. They all stared as sparkles a giant beam of light that was piercing the clouds with rings around them.

As for the battlers, they were frozen in shock as the attack began to come towards them. And only the humans got the idea to run but couldn't outrun it. The explosion caused by the impact of the draconic projectiles caught the opponent's Pokemon at full force. While the humans were caught as well but were luckily far enough to not be to ripped apart from the impact.
David, Tai and their Pokemon were caught in the shockwave and were sent flying back, landing hard on trees, rocks or ground, depending on their luck.
April crashed into Meowth and they ended up in an awkward position. Sora was kissing a tree with mini Sheba's flying around his head, while IgVa was so unfortunate to land on a rock. Riku impacted with a tree hard enough to snap the tree and the upper half landed on his body. David skittered over the ground from the force.
Grunting in pain he moved up and saw large dust cloud. Having been formed on the impact side of the attack… Sheba landed on the ground, panting hard from the exhaustion of this attack while reverting back to her normal form. But she still had the glare in her eyes.
Tai groaned as he pulled himself up. "Sheba's out of her Mega form, but she's still raring to go I think?" He muttered looking around. "Oh, Rio, Meowth? Are you two okay?"
"Raahhhh!" He muttered weakly raising a paw from beside him. Then Tai looked around for Meowth. Meanwhile however Rio suddenly noticed a strange white stone and picked it up, looking at it curiously.
As for Tai, he found the cat sitting on April with a very lovely gaze on his face. And April was looking back at him. "Awkward…." Tai replied quickly finding Blaze's feet and tail sticking out of the ground. Geon was sitting on it's rump his head swaying back and forth dizzy from the attack.
David groaned and got up "That smarts… everybody alive?" He was met with a collection of groans. Riku just pushed the the tree off from him and was visibly hurt while IgVa was rubbing the head in pain.
Sora was still out cold and David decided to not comment about April's position.
The dust began to settle and… the Pokemon of the poachers were knocked and nothing better could be said about the condition of the poachers self, all out cold. And the field looked like a wasteland.
"Wait… where is Eevee?" asks David, his mind getting back together far enough to realize he had let go of the shiny.
The Eevee was limping but not too far from them. David rushed up to help her. She struggled.
"Eevee don't you're hurt!" Tai cried.
"Raaahh!" Rio added desperately. David could think of one thing to do. Lightly pet her. She began to fall asleep.
David sighs, "Seems she really got a bad experience with humans." He sighed before looking at their fallen enemies. "Well… I doubt they wake up soon. And that explosion properly caught the attention of anybody who saw it, so Rangers or police officers will come here."
"Good…" stated Sheba tired "Then… I …" and she collapsed.
Worried David runs over and checks on her, before sighing in relief "She is only exhausted…"
"I guess Mega Evolution really took it out of her," Tai sighed. "I'm surprised she got good control of it right away. Then again you guys are really close." He added Rio and Meowth nodding behind him.
David chuckled "Well, she was also very angry at those guys, so I think it helped as well."
Rio then started barking at Tai pointing to his bag. "Huh? Oh!" Tai yelped as he pulled out a small crystal. "David give her this! It's a revive it restores a Pokemon's energy and slightly heals it. I also have Super Potions we can use."
"That's great!" David said as he helped Eevee to eat the crystal. The Shiny began to open her eyes weakly, looking at the trainer "Feeling better now?"
It froze while looking back at the eyes before she tried to jump off from him but before she could struggle to do so, April was shouting at her something that made the Eevee froze.
Meowth looks at the two females before starting. "April tells Eevee that she should be more thankful and less troublesome for the fighting we all head to save her hide."
"April has a point here" agreed David. "We all spent quite a bit of time to get you safe. Heck our main reason to go after you was you stealing that Mega stone."
Eevee looks down a little ashamed, now it realized how things are. Not to mention that the human holding her risked his life to save hers. Then she said something in a low tone. Nobody really got it and IgVa said something, like as he was asking what she said. The eevee repeats it and IgVa began laughing hard.
Upon the confusion Meowth chuckles slightly, "Well, Eevee stole that scarf because she found it pretty and wanted one as well." Then the cat translated further the reply of the Quilava. "And if she wanted one, then going with David would get her one."
"Yeah no need to make off with the one Sheba had," Tai stated. "Also Eevee, why don't you stick with David?" Eevee thought about this and nodded nuzzling up to David.
"Awesome, I think we're done here, take good care of her David!" Tai replied.
"I plan to do that" laughed David and reached into his bag and took a Pokeball out. Before he used it, David asked the Eevee. "Does the name Arlene sounds well for you?" while rubbing her head gently.
The female gave a slight cry of agreement and David chuckles as he used the Pokeball. Once Eevee were successfully caught, he let her out again. "Tradition one in my team: When a new team member is around, the first few days nobody stays in the ball, except to get to the Pokemon Center," David explain. Eevee yipped happily to that.
April was leaning against Meowth who was grinning brightly before IgVa chuckles loudly. "Hey April! Told him about your motherly qualities?"
"What mother like qualities?" Meowth asked.
"You see…." April replied.
"Come on tell him that you are mother of three kids!" laughed IgVa. "Saphire is like April with her temper. Simon is rather calm but a good shot and I can still not get what Rebeka is!"
The Sneasel glared at the Quilava "Shut up fire brain!"
"Mah! Mamamaaaa Mamaa?! Meowth muttered staring at her like Christmas had been canceled. Curious Rio came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. Meowth immediately hugged him and started to wail. Rio sighed patting him on the back.
"Again awkward," Tai muttered as Rio managed to wriggle out of Meowth's grasp. The small jackal then turned and showed him the strange stone. "Whatcha got there bud?" Tai asked as he took it for a closer look. It was a round stone rock. With oddly enough the Mega Evolution symbol in it.
"Hey David you ever seen this before?" Tai asked.
"I'm not sure I have." David replied.
"Well regardless, it looks like a good luck charm. Ya know considering Sheba didn't kill us." Tai replied grinning. "Speaking of which, what do we do with them?" he asked pointing the Hunters groaning in a heap.
"How about we tie them up and hand them over to the authorities." Suggested David Before Riku tapped on his shoulder and showed him something he wrote. "In fact Rangers are already on the way to investigate the explosion we caused."
Then he looks at April and guessed. "And for Meowths reaction… I think he just learned that April got kids." as he gave the Key stone back to Tai.
Tai put it back around his neck and smiled. "Thanks but how are you going to get your own Keystone?"
"I'll figure something out." David replied. "So Tai are you going to enter the Kalos league?"
"Sure am," Tai replied proudly.
"Hope we meet there!" grinned David. "And perhaps I can show you some Pokemon in my care I haven't shown you yet."
"Yeah, I look forward to it." Tai replied as he shook hands with David. Later on He and Rio waved goodbye to April David and Sheba. All the while Rio dragged Meowth who was crying.
"Hello Darkness my old friend." Meowth moaned.
