Hey guys!
Like I said this is the last chapter, it was a blast to write, honestly I had the most fun with this story out of all my posted stories! I really do appreciate all the support from everyone that reviewed, favorited, and followed Blown Away. Hopefully I will see all of you again on a different story!
Enjoy!

Walking downstairs I smiled at the boys, Ethan and Aiden were standing by the doorway while Derek was standing across from them.
"What's going on boys?"
"Lydia's with Scott. We need to go."
I looked over at Aiden with a blank expression, quickly realizing I had walked into the middle of a conversation.
"Are you gonna try to convince her to go with you?"
The boys gave him a level look as Aiden quickly responded.
"I'm gonna try and convince her to run and hide. Like any sane person would do."
Derek scoffed at the twins while I took a seat on the table, a light pout on my face as I realized I was more than likely going to be alone today, nogitsune or not, today was our last day to finish moving out of the loft and into the house and we had work to do.
"And Danny?"
Ethan spoke up this time.
"Allison's dead. Stiles is dying. What do you think?"
Derek lightly scoffed as I sighed and grabbed my list of stuff I needed to do.
"I think Danny won't believe you. And Lydia would never run and hide."
Aiden was quick to argue.
"Because of Stiles?"
Rolling my eyes I looked at the group.
"Because of Scott."
Derek barely glanced at me before finishing my explanation for me.
"You've been trying to find a way into his pack. Trying to earn his trust, trying to fight for him. You've had it wrong the whole time. You don't fight for a leader. You fight for a leader's cause."
Aiden continued to deadpan Derek.
"What cause?"
Derek didn't miss a beat in his little speech.
"Scott's always been about one thing. Saving his friends. He will do anything and everything to save the people he cares about. When there's no chance of winning, he keeps fighting. When all hope is lost, he finds another way. And when he's beaten down, he stands up again. You want to earn a place in his pack? You want redemption? Find another way to stand and fight."
The twins looked at each other while I hid a smile, watching as they sighed before leaving without another word.
"Since when did you become an advocate for Scott?"
Derek turned and looked at me while I finished looking at my list and placed the clipboard down.
"Shut up."
Laughing I stood up and wrapped my arms around the wolf.
"Just be careful, okay? I'd like one day were we aren't having to take someone to see Deaton because they're injured."
He nodded in agreement as his hands landed on my waist.
"I will."
Bending down he kissed me softly before pulling back and grabbing his wallet and keys.
"Don't forget. The loft isn't ours anymore, so I'll see you at the house."
Another nod and Derek disappeared out the sliding door.
"I guess it's up to me now."

Four hours later I had finally finished packing up the loft and was in the process of bringing the boxes into the house, Talia was inside asleep in her new crib, the baby monitor was clipped to my hip just incase something happened to her. My mind was on Derek and the twins wondering how they were holding up in the fight that was either happening or was about to happen, bending down I grabbed another box and turned to walk back into the house only to be stopped by one of the oni blocking my path. Growling I set the box down before rushing at it, claws raised I dodged it's sword as it was thrusted at me, growling again I kept swiping my claws at it, quickly realizing my body had slowed down since I had Talia, that split second of being distracted was enough for the oni to stab me in the side. Screaming I fell to the ground grabbing at my bleeding side as the oni disappeared, a black mist like substance crept out of the wound in a rush. Cursing I slowly started dragging myself inside, knowing I would be safer there instead of out in the open. Hours passed, it was turning dark outside and I was still in so much pain, Talia was screaming upstairs but I couldn't get up the stairs, finally I heard someone opening the front door, turning I watched Peter walk in.
"Wow, looks nice, do I get a –what happened?"
The older wolf ran over to me.
"What happened?"
I shuddered a little as I looked at him.
"One of the oni attacked me, can you get Talia for me?"
Peter nodded before darting upstairs, a few minutes later he reappeared with his niece in hand. Thinking fast he handed her to me as I instructed him to heat up one of her bottles while gently rocking her. Five minutes later Peter returned and I was finally able to feed my baby and thanked Peter as he took a seat next to me, watching Talia silently. Gasping I felt the pain in my side dissipate completely as the wound finished healing.
"I guess they took care of the nogitsune."
Peter chuckled.
"Guess so."
With Peter's help I was able to stand with Talia in my arms as we waited for Derek and the boys to return, which only took them ten minutes, thankfully everyone was fine. Ethan ran up to me and hugged me, burying his nose into my shoulder as Aiden did the same to the other shoulder, both mindful of the sleeping pup in my arms. Looking up I gave Derek a confused look as he walked behind me and managed to hug me while burying his nose into my neck.
"The nogitsune kept saying you were dead, that Talia was dead."
I smiled and kissed the tops of the twins heads and nuzzled against Derek softly.
"We're safe, both of us, don't worry."
The trio nodded before each one slowly let go.
"So the nogitsune is dead though, right?"
Derek nodded.
"Good. Now help me finish unpacking."

The End.
