"What truth do you mean?"
The girl stood up answering the redhead while not looking at her trying to escape the eyes of her knowing that she won't be able to lie anymore if she kept looking at those brown eyes. her friends didn't understand that she wasn't in the position to talk. She couldn't talk about what did make her sad because she knew that someone like Erza won't let it slide for the blonde Lucas so she decided to keep silent in order to protect him from Erza's revolution. Natsumi spaced out as she started to remember what happened the other day and how the both mages ended having a big fight because of that clip. Now, the blond knows about Natsumi's feelings and didn't know how will relation become? As much as she was angry because he caused her so many problems, she pitied him not forgetting to mention that she was pitying herself as well. The both of them were poor and needed the pity because the both of them did nothing to get this much pain. Even if there were some misunderstanding, they ended up hating each other for no reason. But after all of these thoughts, Natsumi would never go to Lucas and tells him how she feels because he was the one that misunderstood and was the one to apologize and she knew him, he won't apologize because he is blaming himself. He won't show his face in front of the salamander again. She felt stinging in her pride and every time she thinks about him she feels pain inside of her heart. No matter what happens, Natsumi won't return to look at him in the way she looked at him in the past.
"Don't try to act genius" Erza spoke waking the pink haired girl up from that world she was in. Natsumi twisted her body frowning at what she heard from the redhead feeling insulted because of what she said and wanted to answer her but she knows that she was Erza who dislike being answered or being yelled at. She returned her head to where it was looking at her guild mates who were drinking and playing happily. She smiled as she kept enjoying looking at them. When Natsumi was about to go to enjoy her time alongside her friends, the mighty titania grabbed her scarf preventing her from taking any step. Natsumi felt choking in her breath and kept struggling then Erza left her. The dragon slayer moved her head to look at the redhead with angry eyes.
"You!"
"You don't need to speak nonsense, now tell me" Erza said with a cold expression and sent her a deadly glare. Natsumi gulped after hearing that, she wanted to dig herself a hole in the wall and hides in but wasn't able to do though. Natsumi was about to speak and say something that she didn't prepare for it at all but something stopped her from saying. She sniffed and found out that the blond mage who made her in suffer came to the guild. Natsumi slowly turned her head towards the door's direction and stopped breathing when she saw him. lucas was looking at the ground and not meeting his guild mates' eyes because he was already tired and wanted to rest. She didn't know what made him come here and what for and she didn't feel something that time. She was helpless and wanted someone to protect her and didn't feel that spangle in her eyes. Erza who was looking at the blond who suddenly came into the guild twisted her head to continue the talking but was surprised to see that spangle and that face that the pink haired girl wore and was sure now that the change that the girl was in because the blond Lucas. She started to remember how they acted all the days that passed and remembered that Natsumi was the first to get out from the hot spring bath and went to their shared room and when they finished their bath they went to the room and found the blond. Erza narrowed her eyes, how could it possibly end like that? How did Natsumi become like that because of that guy? What did he do to make her be like that? She didn't know the answer and no one knew. No one knew why did Natsumi fell for a hopeless guy like Lucas? Why did he love her in back? Why did they never told each other? Why did they never sacrificed and told the other about what he feels? Why did the life become that hard?!
While the girl was looking at him, he turned his head to where she sat and met her eyes. At first he was taken by the moment but, because he knew her feelings and knew her very well he turned his head regretting his coming to the guild now. Lucas bit his lips and walked to where the board was and started searching for a job. Natsumi turned her head back to where it was at first and sighed looking at the wooden table forgetting that redhead who was staring at her. The salamander felt stinging inside of her heart and wanted to take of her heart in order not to feel that pain. She wanted nothing except for forgetting what happened and wants to start a new life. She wanted to forget about every tear she had shed and wanted to forget him. And in the same time, she didn't want to forget that person who made her flying between clouds.
She didn't know what will happen to her if she kept like that!
