Kagome hung from the beams of Sokyoku Hill.
An assembly of the Captains were below her, watching, all except one.
Blue eyes lazily gazed as the Sokyoku rose and aimed itself at her.
She should've known she would get in trouble for time-traveling, not to mention being in possession of the Jewel. Now, if only she could apologize to a certain captain.
Kagome waited, but there was no impact.
Opening her eyes, tears fell. Byakuya stood between her and the halberd.
"You are late." he said calmly as he fended off the Sokyoku.
She smiled, still crying, "So I am."
