Chapter 37

I started to walk around my cell, trying to pass the time. I was trying to think positive, about when I get out of here how I and Klaus had a future.

There was a whisper next to me "My names Splendora."

I smiled at the girl; I always wanted a daughter "Well very nice to meet you Splendora, my names Caroline as you know."

Damon snorted next to me "Most call her blonde if you ask me."

I rolled my eyes and glared at Damon "Don't listen to him, he only calls me that."

Damon was saying something else but I wasn't focused on him I was trying really hard to focus to hear up stars "You're really going to save us all? You're the savior then?"

I lost concentration and stared at her so did Damon and most of the room, "The what?"

Splendora starred off looking into space "I loved in the slums, and I was all alone with my powers, but among the orphans on the streets, the witches and werewolf's there was whispers. Of a woman who would save us all. A savior who has the power to weld the element of fire, and sort is like a vampire. One who would stand with the original vampires and one who will be the mate of the original hybrid himself. Who would bring us to the light, are you her?"

I was taken back, so even before all the strange laws and changes to our planet happened. Before I even came out and used my powers I was a savior a leader. But I had to ask "Damon have you heard of this rumor?"

Damon turned his intense blue eyes on me and nodded his head "Back on are old planet Frostbite we had heard of a rumor of a golden woman who would head all of us vampires and supernatural's out of the dark and hiding and bring us to power were we belong. We left our planet to travel around and see if we could find the one and of course get away from the law. But yes and Caroline I believe you are the one along with the hybrid and his family."

That was all I needed to continue and turned to Splendora and said "Yes my sweetie I am."

Splendora smiled at me, but then I snapped out of it. My ears focused on the sound of footsteps upstairs. Apparently so did everyone else that was close heard to. I whispered to the person next to me "Be ready to use your vampire and werewolf powers if needed, were leaving."

The guy next to me passed it down ear to ear, so loyal that I can free us all, I will not let them down. I nodded to Damon "You need to be ready to use you vampire ability's and if you brother is not with us...then decide now are you going to surrender?"

Damon looked down and said "I promised that I would protect him...but I have to think about my own future and that's with Elena...I'll stand by you and Elena I'll fight my way out."

I saw this was hard for him but I knew he was not traitor and Damon whispered the message down the rolls.

The door opened and I put my mask back on showing not emotions. Two guards came up to the door and said "So are you ready to talk and give in to us?"

I laughed at that one guard glared at me "Why are you laughing. You're caught and not going anywhere."

Damon chuckled at that so did the others. One guard turned and glared at everyone "So are all of you, you're all just animals and need to be put down."

That hit it for me, my eyes turned ark blue and my hands caught fire the guards stepped back, but they had pushed me too far. I grabbed them both and put my hands on them and burnt them. They screamed and lucky the rooms were spelled sound proof. All of the residents stared at us; once the guards turned to ash I grabbed the keys. I turned my deep blue eyes gaze at everyone, fire still on my heads lighting the torches around us.

I yelled out "Are you with me!"

Everyone yelled in agreement some werewolves howled out with me. Damon nodded and bowled his head to me. I grabbed the two sit of keys off the two guards and threw it in two different directions "Hurry up and pass it down."

I went up to Splendor and tried to key to open the door but the key got zapped away into Damon's cell who used the key and passed it down I told him "Help others out and lead them down to the door and wait for me."

Damon nodded and flashed to cell to cell with the keys avoiding touching the cells with vervain. I turned to Splendora and asked "What happened?"

Splendora looked down and said "I've tried to escape 3 times and have almost made it, so they've update my cell; I'm a very powerful witch for my age they say and I wouldn't join them because I saw what they do to us."

I smiled at her "Well I'm not leaving without you."

I raised my hand and grabbed the bars and my fire burned them "Now step out and let's go."

Splendora grabbed my hand and we saw that all the cells where almost all unlocked, the crowd parted for us to step up front. I nodded to Damon who was upfront with us also. I whisper "If we want this to work for us, we all got to be quiet and follow my lead."

I opened the door but I saw that it was magically celled shut, I said "Any witches with us try to combine you magic and help out."

Splendora said "I can do this I know the spell," she started to chant and I saw others follow her lead and the door opened and Splendora smiled "See I can do this."

I smiled and opened the door and saw that we were high up and guards were posted all at the bottom. I kept Splendora close to me and patted a guy I recognized from the village and Damon and nodded to go to the other side end.

Very quietly one by one we all made our way across. I thought everything was going grand so far but one guy knocked a pot over, everyone froze as it hit the ground. The guards looked up and started to fire stakes with bow-n-arrows and silver at the werewolves. I yelled out "Go!"

Very quickly everyone started to run to the door that would take us to the stairs and freedom. Peoples powers were flying all over and vampires were flashing by; werewolves turned and started jumping and knocking guards out. The guards tried to grab us all over the place.

One grabbed Splendora and I snapped I have come to think of her as my daughter and the way her parents didn't treat her right so I will.

I threw a fire ball at the guards and yelled out "Don't touch my girl!"

I quickly grabbed her and pulled her close to me and ran "It's OK Splendora. You're coming with me and Klaus."

Damon and one boy by him yelled out "Miss Caroline come on."

I quickly ran but when I reached the stairs everyone was frozen and stuck. We were surrounded and Tyler was in frond leading the attack. Stefan was there with a sad expression on his face, Even Klaus's brother Finn was by Tyler up front.

I glared at Finn "You traitor."

Finn nodded to the guards "Make sure you get her she'll signal out my brothers and sister."

But before anyone could do anything an explosion happened and it shook the whole building.

I fell and Splendora on top of me, and Damon on the other side of me. A lot of werewolves and vampires fell to the floor off the stairs but some managed to stay on top. Then I heard that all so familiar voice "Someone here better tell me where my love Caroline is! Or all of you are going to die!"

Klaus was there in the doorway eyes were blazing gold veins around his eyes vampire and werewolf were both out looking for me his mate. Elijah, Rebekah, and Kol were surrounding him. In the back I saw that Elena and Jeremy were with him also.

Damon perked up at seeing Elena.

But all I could think was no one was getting out of this, this is the beginning of the war.
