(Sorry for the long delay. I've been REALLY swamped with schoolwork, but I'm still working on chapters whenever I can. So don't fret, I'm still alive and working on updates for all of my stories. ^^)

Odd had a wide eyed look, as he looked at the walls of the area they transported to.

"Woah..." Odd said

Aelita rose an eyebrow.

"Jeremie... Where are we?" Aelita asked

"Uh... I- I don't exactly know... The coding is like nothing I've ever seen before..." Jeremie said

Alexandr stood up, and had a confused look, as he and everyone else noticed a large passage. Jennifer smirked.

"Jeremie...? What's through the big door?" Jennifer asked

"I- Hmm... I see a large number of XANA's monsters, scattered all over the sector. But I don't exactly know what else is in there... The coding is like nothing I've ever seen before!" Jeremie said

Aelita shrugged.

"I guess we're going to look around, a little..." Aelita said

Everyone nodded, and walked through the passage. Chase smirked, as he stared straight ahead.

"And down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again..." Chase said, cryptically

Yumi scoffed.

"Yeah... Whatever you say..." Yumi said

The group then suddenly heard Jeremie clear his throat.

"Guys, there's a countdown activated..." Jeremie warned

"Countdown? How long?" Ulrich asked

Jeremie sighed.

"23 seconds, left... Y- You need to find something in there that can shut this off. Because I have no idea what happens when it gets to 0" Jeremie warned

"Understood... We'll double-time it" Chase said

Jennifer rose an eyebrow.

"Double-time...?" Jennifer asked

Chase sighed, with slight annoyance.

"Military callsign for moving faster than usual..." Chase explained

Jennifer nodded, as the group made it to a large room. Everyone gasped, and went wide eyed, as they saw the size of it.

"Jesus Christ..." Alexandr muttered

Aelita looked up, and rose an eyebrow, as she took in the sight of the room. She went wide eyed, as she saw a distant button on the wall... guarded by several new monsters! Aelita shook her head, and looked at Yumi.

"What is that?!" Aelita asked

"I- I don't know... Jeremie? Why is there new monsters here?" Yumi asked

"It appears that XANA's got more than one new one... There's a few other unidentified monsters, all over this new sector! I- I don't know what they are, so be prepared" Jeremie said

Alexandr smirked, and cocked his AK-47.

"Gotcha, Belpois..." Alexandr said

"Someone just watch our flanks, don't die... And for god sakes, just TRY to press that button. It might be what ends the countdown!" Chase said

Everyone nodded, and quickly ran through the new area. Jennifer gasped, as she saw the new monsters were looking at them.

"CREEPERS!" Jennifer shouted

"What?!" Ulrich asked

Yumi frowned, and threw one of her fans at a monster, as Odd shot a few arrows at a different monster. The arrows hit the monster, as Yumi's fan went through the other. Yumi smirked, as she caught her fan.

"That's a good name for them... I think..." Yumi said

"Yeah... Suits them, for some reason" Ulrich said

Aelita looked at the button, and frowned, as she saw another Creeper was in front of it.

"10 Seconds left!" Jeremie warned

Aelita nodded, and looked at Chase.

"We're gonna have to do this together, aren't we?" Chase asked

Aelita smirked, and nodded. She and Chase then ran towards the button, and climbed up several columns, until they looked at it.

"4 Seconds!" Jeremie warned

Chase shot, and destroyed the last Creeper, as Aelita ran to the button. She quickly pressed it, causing everyone to hear Jeremie breath a sigh of relief.

"You do not want to know how close it got to zero..." Jeremie said

Chase frowned, and looked around.

"This place is... weird..." Chase said

"I agree. But there's probably lots of new things to learn here. Me and Jeremie didn't even know it existed! Who knows what's here..." Aelita said

"Are you two coming down yet!?" Jennifer asked

Aelita and Chase looked down, and saw the group was awkwardly staring at them. The siblings sighed, and climbed down the way they came up. After a minute or two, they got back to the group, where they saw Odd was smirking.

"Took you long enough..." Odd half-joked

"I didn't see you trying to climb that damn thing..." Chase countered

Aelita smirked, as Odd looked away. Yumi looked at the button, and shook her head.

"I wonder what it does when it hits 0?" Yumi asked

"I don't know. I don't wanna know. But... uh... Now what?" Jennifer asked

"Do you want me to bring you all out?" Jeremie asked

Aelita nodded.

"Yes... We can explore more, later. It'll be dangerous if we all go deeper into this sector..." Aelita stated

"Carthage..." Alexandr corrected

Everyone looked at Alexandr, and all rose an eyebrow.

"Carthage...? As in-" Chase said

"Yep" Alexandr interrupted

Jennifer smirked, and then chuckled.

"Oh... OH... I see now. Scipio, and Carthage... Someone was a Roman history fan" Jennifer stated

Aelita nodded, and smiled.

"We should go now... But I think we can still come back. Once we perfect the way to travel here" Aelita said

"As long as it doesn't make me feel like puking all over the floor..." Odd muttered

Ulrich sighed, and nodded in agreement.

"What Odd said" Ulrich said

"I'll try. But I can't make any promises... Just get back to that room you were in, and I'll bring you all out" Jeremie said

The group nodded, and started walking back towards the place they landed at...

==10 Minutes Later==

Odd had a sickly look, as he stumbled out of his scanner. He saw everyone else was standing near Jeremie, with looks of amusement.

"You look like shit, man..." Jennifer said

The group chuckled, as Odd shook his head. Jeremie smiled, and looked at the group.

"I think I might be able to find an anti-virus, sooner. Thanks to the discovery you guys made!" Jeremie said

Aelita and Chase, both smiled.

"The sooner the better..." Chase said

"And after we find our parents, we shut down XANA. Forever..." Aelita said

The group smiled, and nodded in agreement. Jeremie looked at his watch, and went wide eyed.

"It's already 3:35 AM..." Jeremie said

The group went wide eyed. Yumi frowned, and loudly groaned.

"My parents aren't going to like this..." Yumi complained

"GI Jim has to be looking for us, right about now..." Alexandr stated

Aelita nodded, and yawned.

"W- We'll talk more about this tomorrow... I just want to try to sleep tonight..." Aelita said

"I just hope we don't get any nightmares tonight" Chase said

Everyone nodded, and smiled.

"Just try not to worry about getting them, okay?" Jennifer asked

"Fine" Chase said

Aelita nodded, in agreement, as the group walked to the elevator...
