The next day a blue portal opened at the Globe Room of North's domain as Ashley and Lena stepped out of it. Enya was flitting about as she pestered Lena about how the transportation had ruffled her feathers a bit.

"Enya...it wasn't that bad," Lena tried to explain to her little fairy that now sat on her shoulder.

She just huffed and her feathers were fluffed.

Lena rolled her eyes a bit,"At least we didn't fall this time."

"Do you remember that time Enya? We had to give you five baths just to get your feathers clean," Ashley commented as she placed her paintbrush away.

The little fairy calmed down a bit and nodded her answer. "Good, now we can go find North," Lena stated before she heard footsteps from behind them.

"No need to, I am here," said North as the girls turned to him. There beside him was Tooth, her blue and green feathers neatly groomed. Enya smiled brightly seeing her guardian that she started to fly around her happily while squeaking with joy.

"Hello little one, I hope you are taking care of Lena ," The bigger fairy cooed over the small one as she gently held her, in her hands. North, Lena and Ashley watched before giving a small smile. The moment lasted a bit as they started to have a small conversation to each other, though Lena was getting a bit antsy.

"Ok, we're here, so what do we do?" Lena asked rather bluntly as she shifted a bit.

Ashley just shakes her head at Lena but nodded,"She does have a point here though,"

"Then let's get started," North said with a bright smile as he turned and headed down a rather festive hallway. On the wall hung wreaths of holly and a few christmas pictures that he had collected over the years. To Ashley it was like stepping through time, her eyes had caught onto one of the middle ages. It was rather intriguing. When she looked away from the tinted photo, she found that Lena and the others were a bit away so she scampered down until they stopped at a rather large door.

"Is this where you'll train us?"Ashley asked with a raised brow.

"No, this is where you choose weapon," He corrected her as he opened the door. To the excitement of Ashley, it held tens of thousands of weapons over the ages. The walls were packed back to back by multicultural swords, daggers, crossbows, axes, and darts. Ashley's mouth almost dropped to the floor.

"Wow…"Lena said in awe as she picked up a sword she found rather nice and looked over its blade to North.

"Choose your weapon," He stated as he motioned for Tooth to follow him out of a doorway. "We'll be in here when your done," He commented before closing the door, leaving Ashley to look at Lena.

Lena looked over at Ashley with a small shrug before pushing a few weapons aside gently as she looked for the weapon she would pick. It didn't come at her at first but slowly made it's way into her view by it's beautiful green and black hilt. Slowly she wrapped her hands around it and pulled it out to show it's sleek and crisp blade.

"Nice Katana," Ashley said as she watched her do so.

"Wow…"Lena murmured as her hands traced over the fine details in the hilt. "Nice,"she whispered as a smile grew on her face. Lena closed it back up and looked over the golden dragon that had wrapped around the sheath to the top. "I think I'll choose this, it has the right balance,"

"Good….now it's my turn," Ashley answered as she pulled out a rather long axe. It's blades were like two crescent moons, the edges glinted in the small light. It's silver handle was long enough for her to hold with two hands, great for defense and offense. It was simple but it peeked her interest. "I like this one," She said with a quick nod.

"Why am I not surprised," Lena said with a chuckle.

"Well, I could've chosen the heavily bladed mace over there," she laughed as she pointed out a rather hefty looking weapon hanging from the ceiling, it's blades were to a point.

Lena just rolled her eyes,"Let's go, North and Tooth are waiting on us." Ashley nodded before walking with her to the door and opening it. There they were met with amazement.

North and Tooth were sparring with each other. Bright smiles were on their faces and their eyes sparkled in happiness. Their movements were fast but skillfully maneuvered. Tooth was fast and flexible while North was sharp at his jabs and strong with his slashes. His scimitars had met her smooth and whimsical blades with a loud clang.

"Strong as ever North," She giggled gently as North was pushing her closer to the wall, but before he could pin her to the wall she ducked and used the wall as a mount before pushing herself away from him. Her movement was fast and slick and he almost fell from it.

"Not as fast as you are though," He laughed before quickly turning and stopping her blade in midair with his. His grin grew was he quickly snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her close as his sword was pointed at her head. Their faces were close and a small blush swept over Tooth's face.

From a distance coughing sounds were being made by Lena, who has been leaning on the doorway watching the two. A small grin on her face,"Are you two done yet?"

"Should we leave?" Piped Ashley with a bright smile.

The two guardians blinked and separated rather quickly. Each of their faces becoming a shade of red. "n..no we need to train you two," quickly stuttered North who was trying to compose himself. Tooth quickly nodding, obviously embarrassed at how they were caught.

Ashley and Lena both cracked up laughing as they walked up to the two. "Why are you hiding this from the others?" Ashley asked as she tilted her head. "It's nothing to be ashamed of,"

"I think the others will actually like this," Lena commented.

Tooth's wings were flapping rather fast as she started to get panicked a bit. "w...well it's been so long a..and we don't know how they would react..a..a..and…." She had a look of fear on her face.

North finally looked over at her and gently pulled her close. "Don't worry, I'm sure they would be fine." He said softly and his usual smile was now on his face. Ashley and Lena nodded their thoughts as well.

"To be honest they probably already know," Lena said kind of bluntly with a smile on her face.

Ashley gently punches her arm for what she said had made Tooth go pale.

"Oh come on, it's not that bad, if it was, they would've said something," Lena continued while rubbing her arm a bit.

North nodded and Tooth slowly regained her color. "Y..yeah I guess," She finally replied while Ashley shook out her hand a bit.

"With that over with, we need to get started." Ashley said.

"What weapons did you choose?" North asked as he slowly let go of Tooth.

Lena answered him with unsheathing her newly discovered katana. He nodded his head in approval before looking over at Ashley who showed him her staff-like double bladed axe.

"Nice choices girls, time to teach."

"We both will teach you our ways," Tooth said softly as she looked over at the two," North will help Ashley with her strength, and I will help you Lena with flexibility,"

Ashley nodded. "I understand," She said gently before following North to one side of the room, while Lena staid with Tooth.

Far in the corner, North was teaching Ashley how to use her strength to attack. He had dummies set up weapons of their own. "You must learn to use all your weight, not just your hands,"

She nodded and shifted her feet a bit as she held onto her blade before running at one of the dummies. She aimed a swing but out of the blue, the dummy moved on its own and countered her attack. Ashley was taken back before he knocked her to the floor. She winced a bit.

"Keep trying young one," North encouraged as he stood there with his folded arms watching the whole ordeal.

Ashley nodded before getting back up and continuing to aim at the dummy. Each move was blocked by one of its own. After a bit, she finally struck it hard enough to make it tip over.

"Nice going! Now only four more to go," He said with a nod and a cheerful, yet proud smile on his face.

The young girl already looked exhausted but just looked over at him and made a small nod. "I never said it would be easy," He commented.

"I figured North," she exclaimed before getting into position for the next four.

As Ashley finished up her few dummies, Lena was practicing her maneuvers with Tooth. "You must use your wings as a boost. Don't let them keep you down," She instructed as she did it with a dummy of her own. Her wings flitted about rather quick before she flicked her sword out making a small nick in the side of it.

Lena nodded and tried to repeat what Tooth did but she ended up going too slow and missed her target by an inch. Her face scrunched up as she tried it a second and a third time to no avail.

"Am I missing something?" She asked.

Tooth shook her head,"No, it just takes a lot of practice. The power to control your wings for battle will come in time, just keep going and don't give up," she encouraged.

Lena nodded,"Got it!" She then continued to throw herself at the dummy with her katana in hand. After a few more tries she got quick enough to make a scar on the dummy's left hip.

"Great! You're getting it!" She exclaimed," Now you just need to do that at least five more times!"

The dragon girl just shook her head before nodding and launching herself at the dummy once more.

After a few more hours of slicing and dicing their way through the dummies, the two guardians thought that they had enough for one day. It was after they had switched partners, that they finally brought them back together to speak with them as a whole.

"Wonderful job girls, I am very proud of you," North said with a clap of his hands.

"You showed great improvement and skill. We would like for you two to keep your weapons so you can continue to train back at your island," Tooth said with a smile.

Lena grinned as she held the katana to look at the details once more. As her fingers traced down the golden dragon a name was forming in her head. " Densetsu no Doragon…." She whispered before looking up to see the others watching her.

"Is that what you're going to name it?" Ashley asked with a raised brow and a smile on her face.

"Yup, it means legendary dragon,"

"Quite fitting," She answered before looking over at her newly gained axe. "Hmmm," she murmured as she tried to think of a name. "I think i'll call it Crimson Crescent,"

North and Tooth nodded,"Great names," they both said and smiled.

"Yeah, thanks again North for letting us keep these, they're great and thanks for teaching us," Ashley said before heading to a wall.

"We should get going, i'm pretty sure Grug has gotten anxious about us lately, so we'll see you all later,"Lena said before scampering to catch up with her friend. Soon Ashley pulled out her tall paintbrush and painted a room in their island. In a moment the portal turned blue and the two started to step through. Though unbeknownst to the two, Enya had gotten out of Lena's hair to talk to another fairy that came to watch Tooth and the others spar.

When Enya noticed the blue color from the corner of her eyes, she started to squeak in panic and rushed over to the portal before it shut. She made it just in time for the next second she was trying to stop herself so she didn't hit a wall. Lena quickly held up a hand and caught the young fairy. When she opened her hand, Enya's feathers were fluffed up and she was quite annoyed and aggravated that she was almost left behind.

"Sorry, but you should also pay more attention," Lena explained to just huffed and looked away. "Hey Ashley, wanna go into the kitchen and grab some dinner?" The fairy then perked up and smiled as she started to flit about.

"So now you're happy," Ashley chuckled a bit at the small friend. She just flitted and stuck her tongue out playfully. Lena just rolled her eyes slightly before heading with the others to the kitchen.

Along the way, the three had spotted Carmella sitting by a wall of rocks. She was now as big as a normal housecat. Ashley was confused as to why there were rocks in their hallway. "What is going on?" She asked in confusion.

"I have no clue," Lena stated as she bent down on her knees to call Carmella. "Come here Carmella,"she called happily and the dragon ran into her arms.

"This is obviously Grug's room, but I wonder as to where he got the rocks," Ashley stated as she folded her arms. "Where is he anyway?"

"I think I have an idea….Grug!" Lena called.

It was silent for a few minutes before there was a muffled shriek and groan coming from behind the wall.

"Huh?"

"Come on out Grug, we can't hear you from behind this," Ashley explained to him.

Reluctantly Grug started to pull the rocks out and made a small window which the others could see him. He then started to freak out when he saw Carmella.

"What's wrong Grug?" Asked Ashley as she tried to calm him down.

"Big cat! Big Cat eats Grug!" He whines from behind his shelter.

"What big cat?" Lena asked with a raised brow.

Grug quickly points to Carmella and continued to quiver.

"Carmella?" Ashley asked with a concealed chuckle.

"yes big cat!" He continued to whine and hide.

"umm...Grug...Carmella is not a big cat…"Lena explained as she gently picked up Carmella to show him, her. Carmella blinked and tilted her head which resulted in a shriek from Grug.

"No! Big cat!"

"oi….this is going to be difficult…"Lena muttered.

"Grug, do you want bananas?'" Ashley asked and gave Lena a small wink.

Grug quieted down and peeked through the hole once more. He then muttered a small 'yes'.

"If you want a big batch of Ashley's banana chip cookies, you got to come out," She cooed to him.

It was quiet for a moment before starting to undo his wall and come out, still shaky as he saw Carmella. He instantly hid behind Ashley. "Can I have banana cookie now?"

"Only if you put the rocks back where you got them when you are done," Ashley said with her arms folded.

Grug quickly nodded his head. "Yes, Ashwie,"

"Good, now go and get cleaned up, you are filthy," She said as she put her hands on her hips. The neanderthal nodded and headed to a bathroom. Ashley then looked at Lena.

"This is going to take some time," Lena sighed.

"Indeed,"
