Hey there again. It has been a while, hasn't it? I am sorry that this is a small update. It just took me a while to find my motivation, and spare time, back. Year of exams is so hard… -.-' anyway, I hope you guys still like the chapter even though it's short and I want to thank you guys for your patience! Since I am so slow….. Here we go~~!
I walked downstairs in my fancy clothes and saw the whole family sitting at the table, eating breakfast. My dad noticed me first and smiled. 'good morning sunshine'. I smiled back and replied with a hint of sleep behind my tone. 'morning dad.' I sat down at the table and grabbed a plate from the few plates that were sitting at the other end of the table. I got a good morning back from the rest. Dad seemed to be reading some kind of script. I was wondering what it was but shrugged off my curiosity. Remember. I looked up from my plate and looked around me. Who said that? where did it come from? It didn't seem like anyone that sat at the table said anything. But who was it then?
It bugged me to no end but kept it to myself. What happened in the dream last night was also still replaying in my mind. What was it talking about? What could it mean? I was so bugged by all of these questions that I didn't notice Deidran standing by the window. Dad noticed him and wasn't even shocked at the sight. Deidran ticked on the glass window with one of its claws carefully, so that he would not to break the glass. It snapped me out of my thoughts and looked at the window. The dragon seemed to be staring at me with big eyes. What could he possibly want from me. I slowly continued toeat my cereal while keeping an eye on the dragon.
Deidran followed my spoon and it finally hit me. He was probably hungry as well. The problem was, what would he eat. Dragons would normally eat meat but he came from the End dimension where there was no such thing. The only thing that lived there besides the dragon were the endermen. Would the dragon eat the endermen? Or perhaps the pearls? The odd looking green-blue pearls were like the souls of the endermen, or at least that is how I saw them as. Well, the young dragon would just have to do with meat, since we didn't have anything from the End in our house. Well, except for the portal but after my last experience, I wasn't all too eager to visit that dimension again.
I stood up and walked over to the fridge. There was some meat in there but not much. Some raw chicken en a bit of raw ham. 'hey mom, can I feed this chicken to Deidran? He seems rather hungry.' She looked up from the newspaper that she was reading and said something like: of course dear. I took the chicken out of the fridge and walked outside. Deidran was neatly sitting there in front of the house. 'here you go' I said with a smile while giving him the chicken. He gently took it out of my hands and started to slowly eat it. I went back inside and continued my breakfast.
After we had all finished our breakfast, it was time to go to the hall where Minecon would take place later today. This year's Minecon would start in the late midday. This way, there was more time to prepare for everything. Little booths had to be set up, other amazing minecraft features had to be set up as well, the program/schedule for the day had to be gone through so that it was certain that there would not be any errors. We stepped into the car.
I had instructed Deidran to fly above the clouds, as the dragon seemed to be inseparable with me. The dragon did as it was told and flew high above the clouds. I had also told him where Minecon would take place so that he would know where to fly to. It would only be a bit difficult to get him somewhere without being sighted. Luckily, Deidran was only just a bit bigger than a horse and not the size that you hear in dragon tales. That would be even harder. He would be sighted for sure then. But that was not the case
The ride was calm and nothing much was happening. It was quiet on the road, for now at least. It would be swarming with lots of other people later today. We eventually arrived at the back of the building and got out of the car. Deidran had somehow gotten down without rising any kind of suspicion anywhere. I saw him behind one of the large bins, trying to not make any kind of ruckus. I looked around to see if anybody else was here at the back but it seemed like we were very early. I motioned Deidran to come over at the backdoor, which he barely fit through.
We walked through the hallway, which was conveniently high. There was no-one in the hallway, which was a good thing. If anyone would see Deidran with its pretty slightly glowing purple eyes then they would certainly recognise it. Or they would just become incredibly startled. Deidran seemed slightly nervous but curious at the same time. After walking through the long corridor, we entered a large room with many chairs in it. This room was huge and was a bit circular. The corners of the room slightly bend towards the top, creating a more circular look. If I had to estimate the amount of chairs then I would say that there were more than a hundred thousand chairs. I had never seen so many chairs in one place.
In the room there were a few places where there were no chairs but a more elevated spot. I assumed that those spots were podia for us and others to stand on. At the less circular end of the room was a large curtain, probably separating the main room from whatever might be behind there. Dad motioned us to come towards the part behind the curtain. Behind the curtain were a few things stored. There were extra chairs and some boxes with material that I had never seen before. They looked like some kind of electronics. My dad walked over to a box with some odd carts in it. They were VIP cards. Hey gave one to me, to mom and to Faye. As an extra, dad put a mango sticker on Faye's card.
'with these carts you can get about anywhere you want to. Now go and check out the rest of the halls and rooms. And it might be a good idea to find a spot for Deidran to stay at.' I nodded and smiled. 'let's go Faye, they might have mango's somewhere' I said with a little smirk on my face. Her face lit up in excitement and we both quickly ran off. There was one little problem. I had forgotten for just a tiny moment that Deidran would follow me anywhere. I remembered when I heard the sound of chairs moving. I looked behind me and saw Deidran standing there, in between fallen chairs. This wasn't going to work.
'Deidran, stay with dad behind the curtain. It will be safer for you there. Me and Faye will be back, we promise' the dragon gave me a sad look. 'we don't have much of a choice Deidran, you know that.' he seemed the sigh and returned to the curtain. Before he entered the curtain again, he looked back once more but Faye and I were already gone. 'come on Deidran, it's not that bad to be with us. It's better this way.' Dad said. But Deidran seemed to not become any happier and just sat close by the curtains where he could just see the room where many people would later gather.
In the meantime, somewhere in a forest
Blade's POV
'Do you all understand?' he strictly said. Me and Pastel nodded and checked our tool belts one last time. There was a diamond dagger for me along with something that Herobrine had called a ''pistol''. It seemed to be made of iron and gleamed in the few sunrays that got through the clouds. The weather was becoming worse and it would probably rain pretty heavy later on the day. Pastel had two thin diamond blades that looked extremely sharp when she had shown them to me earlier. They were specially made for her, so that she could be extra lethal.
Later today would be the time when the small war would get started. He had told us that it was a small war since he had only one objective in this world. He seemed to not intend on taking over this dimension. That surprised me at first but when Faye explained to me what this world was like, I finally understood why. And I thought that the Overworld and the Nether were dangerous enough… this dimension was even worse. There were more things that could kill you in this dimension than in all of the Minecraftian dimensions combined.
It was now time to make the last preparations before we would head out. What would happen at that place was a mystery to me and what we would find was a mystery as well. I wonder if this was the day that I would die but whatever would happen there, I will not let Pastel die. No matter what.
This chapter became longer than I had expected…. Which means… that I am back~! I finally found the motivation again to write. Isn't that fantastic? Now, of course this won't be without mistakes, as I wrote this while attending to certain classes. The teachers did notice a thing ^^. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter and in the next chapter, we will find out what Dsiara and Faye find in the hallways. To give me more motivation, I would love to see some reviews and talk via PMS to a lot of you guys, I really enjoy that. ah, I should stop blabbering… have a nice day!
