"Why have I never heard of this?" Thalia asked as she grinned again. But this time she didn't answer back immediately as she watched her hot husband stand up in the pool as he flipped his hair back and water dripped down his chest. After a second though she finally responded after she quit biting her lip from the scene.
"Because I said us and that didn't refer to you, but were are having the party." She said as Death grinned at Bianca's reactions to his well thought out plan.
"Yay party!" Hannah said as we all chuckled.
"So is dad and uncle coming?" I asked as they both grinned.
"Like the king of the sea would miss a pool party and the kind of the dead miss meeting his daughter, yeah right." Death said as I chuckled as my mom looked a little nervous, contrary to the engagement ring on her finger she still had feelings for my dad. She was a little nervous to see him after such a long time, which happened to be about 3 months.
"Well we better get ready, who knows what will happen tonight." I said with a grin remember our last party.
NOW:
"Cannonball!" Screamed Tiffany as she ran and jumped into the pool. With a large splash and a large laugh she surfaced as she smiled, but what was funnier was Zain's face as he starred at the short haired beauty. He stared was ended quickly as Death gave him a nudge and a wink as Tiffany climbed out of the pool. With a confused face and a blush she stalked off as I laughed lightly as I sat quietly on the side of the pool.
"5 bucks say Tiffany kisses Zain tonight." I said giving a little nudge to Thalia a she smiled.
"Deal." She said as we watched the cute couple. They tried to play it off but they were so bad at hiding it. From Zain's emotions I could tell he was getting used to his emotions around Tiffany, even if it was slow I could tell he was changing. He looked better even as his once zombie like skin now was a shade lighter with a small tan. Even most of his scars began to heal even, it was like his body was beginning to accept the people around him, no longer was he stuck in a slump forever. He even smiles sometimes but that happens normally when Tiffany is spouting things to him.
"Come on and swim." Said Tiffany as she began to drag the pour boy wearing swim trunks with zombies on them to the side of the pool, his face terror stricken as he looked at the water. All he could do was shake his head violently as Tiffany looked at him confused. Quick a battle of sigh language between the two as Tiffany nodded in the end and quickly sighed something.
"Don't worry I will teach you." She said as she pushed him in and jumped right in, might I say she looks exactly like Thalia did when she was her age. But she had a less tan body and had a darker aura around her, kind of an evil one but then again that can just be the inner Nyx in her. I shuddered at the idea as I watched Tiffany begin to show Zain how to swim in the shallow end as both me and Thalia laughed lightly.
"So how does it feel to be pregnant?" Asked a humorous voice behind us as we turned to see Fredrick with a plate of food for both of us. He was wearing an apron that said 'kiss the cook' and truthfully it fit him perfectly. He kind of reminded me of Chiron but without the horse half and instead a pair of angel wings.
"Great you should try it some time." Thalia said taking the plate as he laughed and turned back to the grill.
"I think I am good." He said laughing again as he handed a plate of food to one of Bianca's oldest sons. I think his name was David but I couldn't remember, he just gave his thanks as she handed another plate he received to the youngest of the 6. Her name was Viola and to be truthful a little brat as she got both Death and Bianca's rebellious side. I could see her turning into heartbreak for many men in her later years. But to Thalia she was nice as could be, but to me and her brothers she was the devil.
"What does pregnant mean?" Asked the small child walking over to us.
"It means I am going to have a baby." Thalia said smiling as Viola seemed to think about it as she strode off in her cute black one piece. Her long blonde hair and brown eyes fit her perfectly tan skin just as well. I had to say it Death and Bianca had some beautiful kids, even if they were the personification of hell and death. But one thing I did noticed all of them had black bathing suits on, each holding different pictures but all black. Kind of fitting if you ask me.
"Henry eat slower I don't want you to choke." Said Bianca as her youngest son stuffed his face with the burger provided to him. All he did was smile a face full of food as she began to chew properly as she gave a sign.
"I will give you advice now Thalia, don't have more than two." She said as all her kids old enough to understand what she said all said 'hey'. We all laughed as I turned away from the bustling family as I looked back to Hannah who was currently using what little water powers she had to push herself around the pool. It was cute because she was making a superman pose as she floated along.
"This feels great." Said Jeremy as he sat in the hot tub, his large body taking up one whole side.
"You said it, Percy when we move out I demand you buy me one of these." Said Tammy as she sat across from the larger man.
"Give me the money for it and I will." I said as I gave a gentle push to Hannah's inner tube making her go in circles as she giggled. Thalia lightly hit me remembering that Hannah got motion sickness pretty easy.
"Whatever." She said going lower in the bubbling pool of amazingness. Tiffany was dressed in a green bikini that Jeremy had a tough time ripping his eyes off of. All I could say is that Tiffany was very well gifted in the breast region and kind of liked to show off a little. Though I didn't look since she was basically my underling and I have a beautiful soon to be fiancé that held all my needs.
"Hey Percy where do I put these?" Asked Bianca's two oldest as they held empty plates. They were Jessica and Pluto, as you can tell Pluto is named after his step grandfather if you think about the whole roman thing. Both looked like spitting images of Bianca and Death as they looked identical to their respectful parents.
"Just in the garbage over there." I said thrusting to a giant trashcan used to dispose of anything.
"Okay." They said as I sighed, I was not used to so many people over at once.
"My, you were right this does feel good." I heard as I turned to see Julia tanning with Sally as the two were sunbathing. I don't want to be weird but if the two were on the beach together and were doing this right now, they would get more than just stares in their directions. They two women that were both had bodies of 40 year olds but didn't look a day over 27. Julia was in her human form as she wore a sexy one piece that had a V between her breasts that led down to her bellybutton.
My mother on the other hand wore a simply light blue bikini which went good with her already perfectly tan skin. But the funny thing was they both were wearing sunglasses that were the same brand and were laying in the same position with their right leg crossing over their left and hands behind the head as they acted like pillows. But the only difference was Julia was taller, had a light skin tone than my mother and had black hair that ran to the middle of her back.
Other than their eyes hidden behind the glasses and the obvious light amount of freckles decorating Julia's face and the larger amount of freckles on my mother's skin the two were practically twins.
"See I told you, the sun does great things for a women's body." Sally said as she picked up a bottle of lotion as she handed it to Julia.
"You might want to lotion up so you don't get burnt you skin is quiet fairer than mine is." She said as Julia nodded and put a good amount of coconut scented lotion in her hand and began rub it on her long legs and smooth belly. Every man but me for the next half minute watched her as she almost seductively put the lotion on her, I swear if she would have winked at them she would have had it not been for the glasses. I have to say for an angel she was evil.
"Percy that is my mother." Thalia hissed as she hit me harder than last time.
"What I wasn't looking." I said rubbing my arm as Thalia raised an eyebrow.
"Sure you weren't." She said sarcastically.
"I really wasn't I swear on my name." I said as she looked at me for a second concluding what to do.
"Fine I believe you." She said as she suddenly pushed me in the pool as I surfaced quickly as I saw her grinning at me.
"What was that for?" I asked her as I swam closer only to have her put her foot lightly against my head as she stopped me from moving forwards.
"Because I wanted to." She said playfully as she gently pushed me back as I smirked. Quickly I grabbed her foot as her eyes went wide as I pulled her in with me. As she surface she just glared at me and splashed me as I didn't even block it as I spit out a mouthful of water I got when she did it.
"Oh it is so on." I said splashing her back as she screamed a little. Soon we were on a full out splash battle, Hannah already being in the pool was pulled to the side by Bianca as Thalia and me were laughing our ass's off as we kept splashing.
"Go mommy!" Hannah shouted as I felt Thalia's being backed up by my daughter as well as more water hitting my face. Not that it bothered me much it got annoying after a while as I started to use my power. Soon I had giant arms of water spraying squirt gun powerful streams of water at Thalia as she giggled.
But just as I was about to deal the finishing blow I noticed a good amount of water missing from the pool as I looked up to see where it was. I didn't even get a chance to say anything as it was dumped right on me. Thalia was sparred as she was gently pushed away from the massive water bomb as she gently rocked back and forth from the waves as I surfaced with a large breath.
"Okay who betrayed me?" I asked as I turned to see two familiar faces as I started to grin.
"I thought I might help my soon to be step daughter out, seeing as she doesn't have any water power I thought I would make it even." Said the smiling face of Poseidon as he stood in his normal attire of a Hawaiian shirt and blue swimming trunks. His tan skin perfect as usual but standing beside him was a very odd looking Hades.
Well I don't think odd is the right word more like unusual, there he stood with Persephone with her arm looped through his as she wore a green bikini with roses on it. But what was odd about him is that he wasn't wearing a shirt and was instead wearing a plain pair of swimming trunks. He looked a little grumpy but I have to hand it to him he looked good, who knew that he was hiding a 6 pack under those dark clothes and robes. Though fit he was kind of skinny but for him it worked.
"Grandpa!" Screamed Hannah as she pushed away from Bianca who was currently on her way to greet her father. But with a little help from Poseidon Hannah was raised out of the water due to some water lifting her up until he grabbed her. Instantly the water that helped receded back into the pool as I helped the now smiling Thalia out of the pool. But then I saw my mother stare that sea god as she grew a soft face, with a smile she put back on her sunglasses and laid back down and waited for things to clear up.
(Just a note Sally doesn't actually know that Percy is responsible for killing the Other Worlder gods. Also she knows that Hades, Persephone, and Poseidon have gone neutral in this war. But she still is with the Other Worlder army she is just with Percy and them because of what Zeus is doing. She was told that Zeus might steal her away as well so basically she is hiding to keep herself safe. She also believes that Percy left the Other Worlders to hide as well from possible spies Olympus might have on him.)
"Oh my have you grown?" He asked as Hannah nodded.
"Yeah mommy says that I will grow to be big and strong like Artemis one day." She said as we all glanced at Thalia as she blushed.
"Already creating man hating tendencies, I feel bad for any boys who go after you. You are going to such a heartbreaker." Poseidon said in a worried voice.
"Mommy says boys are icky and full of cooties." Hannah said as she stuck out her tongue out of her mouth. We all just began to laugh at her antics as Poseidon let out a deep chuckle as he ruffled Hannah's hair and set her down. Quickly she ran over to us as I picked her up, her inner tube not floating freely in the pool as every said their hellos.
"Ah Bianca it is nice to see you and your family." Poseidon said as he hugged the smaller women and gave Death a handshake. Each child then got a hug or a handshake as they all returned to Hades and Persephone. Hades looked at the sun like it was an embodiment of evil as Persephone was a cheerful as a Flower. (ha puns) Quickly the overly large family began to reacquaint themselves with one another.
Soon the gods were eating and having a good time as everyone picked a spot and played there. Zain by now was able to swim a little with Tiffany's help. Tammy and Jeremy her sitting by one another as Jeremy had his arm slung over Tammy's shoulder as they seemed to go unnoticed as the two flirted. But not by theses untrained eyes they weren't, I just smirked at the sight but then I noticed Poseidon walking over to my mom.
As I watched I did it from a distance, it was like watching two very scared animals talk to one another. Any little thing that might disturb them would end the conversation forever. But as I watched I felt a little ache in my shoulder to find my wound had opened up a little as I groaned.
"Thalia can you take Hannah I need to get this closed up." I said as she nodded as she took the hyperactive child away from me. As she did I left everyone to do their own thing as I trudged in the house as I went to the bathroom. As I started to look at the wound I did the normal gauze and ointment until I had a good looking bandage. I even had a waterproof seal around it to help it out if I decided to swim some more.
But as I put everything away I felt an eerier feeling around the house, suddenly all the sounds around me grew quiet then nonexistent. All the noise from outside seemed to shut off as I slowly turned around and saw nothing. But still the feeling that I was being watched was present as I finally finished putting away everything. But as I finished a knock was heard at the door as a very familiar voice speak to me.
"Ah if it isn't the child of my brother." I suddenly heard as I turned to see Zeus standing in the doorway. Before I could even say anything of let the anger get the better of me he raised his hand and showed me a little device.
"Before you go doing anything rash I just want to say the device in my hand is connected to a collar around your precious daughter's neck. If the device leaves my hand it will detonate the collar and kill her. If I press this button it will detonate and kill her, if you are smart and don't want your daughter to die I would suggest you don't even try to attack me." He said with the widest smirk that could fit on this bastards face.
I was vivid though as the shadows in the room grew darker and more dangerous. The pipes around me began to groan as well as my powers over water began to grow with my rage bottled up inside me. The air grew stale as well as I could feel the oxygen around me separating and combining again. The lights even flickered a few times as I controlled the flow of the electrons in the lights. One of the better things over element control is being able to manipulate the protons, electrons, and neutrons in the elements.
"What do you want." I said as I noticed my hair had changed to its mist form but stayed just in my hair and no long windblown stands of shadow hanging behind me.
"I just wanted to chat." He said as he placed his finger dangerously close to button as I backed off a little as the pipes stopped groaning. As this happened he moved his finger a little bit farther away from the button.
"How did you find this place?" I asked him as he smirked.
"I have no idea what this place is actually, the only reason I am here is because I a projecting my conscious onto yours. This makes me seem like I am here but I really am not, but you can still possibly harm me in this state so that is why I came prepared." He said motioning to the remote as I growled.
"Took me 4 hours to break past your minds walls at full force but I managed to slip into your mind, but only by chance. Still I must say nice bathroom." He said as I growled again.
"Get to the point." I said as I starred him down.
"Ah yes the reason I have come here, I am simply making an update on how you are doing." He said in a normal voice.
"Fine thank you for asking now go." I growled at him.
"Wait I am not finished, I saw what you did to those gods and I must saw it was brutal by even my standards. I must say you love your daughter than I thought." He said.
"Of course I do, I am not like the gods of Olympus and reject my children. I take care of them as much as I can and lead them to the safest lives I can muster for them. Unlike some people" I said as I hit a nerve as his eye twitched.
"Well I must say getting cocky are we? Let's see how you act when you daughter no longer has a head." He said as he began to press the button as I acted fast. In a matter of a moment straps of shadow held back his fingers while another two locked the remote in his hand so it would slide out. In the next second as I activated my powers, in that second I barrowed Helios's power like I always do. But a fraction of a second later I had a dagger I kept in the cabinet above the sink hilt deep in his forearm.
I knew that this Zeus was only a fraction of the real one but it felt good to see the golden blood pour form the wound as s sick smile crossed my face as I looked into his eyes.
"Hear my now boy you will wish you were dead after what I am going to do you! Your daughter is going to pay for what you have just done!" Screamed Zeus but he was too late as I twisted the dagger as I ripped off his hand holding the remote. Even if this was his consciousness that was going to have to hurt his real body a lot. Also a fun fact about the realm of anybody's consciousness is that if you give somebody something in that realm it is like you gave it to them in real life. So as of now I had the remote as I felt it flash in the real bathroom outside of my consciousness I was not locked in.
"You so much as harm a hair on her head and I will force Tartarus to send you into such a typhoon of insanity you will wish you were dead. Now go to hell were you belong!" I said as I gripped the dagger and buried it hilt deep in his forehead as he dissolved into a fine mist. I knew that the wounds he received in here wouldn't appear on his real body but his nerves would replicate the sensation to match this realm. Also his flesh would morph a little due to his consciousness being injured, but just a little. But before the dream ended I smashed the controller as it gave a dull sound that meant it was shut off.
As I did this I felt the dream dissolving as I held the hand of the once great Zeus in my hand. His bloody nub of a limb just twitching there as I tossed it in the toilet and flushed it with ease. I have to get some of these grade of toilets for the hunt, I know what all that protein does to their inner bowels. But as I finally returned I just sighed as I heard a knock at the bathroom door.
"Percy open up I really have to pee." Said Thalia as I opened the door to find her quickly pushing me out of the bathroom and then the sound of the door clicking as it locked. Just as I realized what happened I heard a satisfied 'aww' along with the sound of a stream of water. I didn't stick around to hear what was coming next as I walked outside to find an interesting sight.
Sally was no longer talking to dad but instead was taking care of Hannah with a satisfied look on her face. But the curious thing was how friendly Poseidon and Julia were acting as they both suddenly laughed at something she said. I just raised an eyebrow as I walked over to my mother as she gave me a smile that would put Apollo to shame.
"You seem happy, what did you two talk about?" I said as her eyes twinkled a little.
"Your father just wanted to say hello and he wished me luck in my future endeavors. Also he said that he realizes what we had was the past and just wants to be friends. Also I guess because I told him I was to marry someone soon." She said as I smiled a little, I guess dad realized that sometimes you have to move on. Even if the one you are moving from is one of the most beautiful women in the world.
"That is good to hear, there for a while I was worried he might never get over you. But I do know he still loves you, after all you two did have a child together." I said as she rolled her eyes.
"I hope so, if he didn't I would teach him a piece of my mind." She said flipped her hair as it was my turn to roll my eyes.
"Whatever you say mom." I said as she giggled a little as Hannah looked completely confused.
"Hannah why don't you go play with Bianca's kids?" I asked her as she smiled.
"Okay." She said as she trotted off as I turned back to mom with a serious look.
"Zeus visited in my mind." I said as she got the picture instantly.
"What did he say?" She asked in a low tone.
"He didn't say anything, he just came to check up on me and threaten me. You don't have to worry about him finding this place either, he has no clue. His aura didn't say that he was lying either, even he can't get past my powers over emotion so have no worries." I said as she sighed a little.
"Well at least you are safe." She said in a relaxed tone as I nodded, but as I did I noticed my vision drifting a little as it landed upon another strange sight. Well other than Fredrick flipping hamburger patties a solid 30 feet in the air and magically catching them without dropping one. But the site I was talking about was the current level of how touchy my dad and Thalia's mom were getting. Currently Julia our high angle had one hand on Poseidon's thigh as a light blush could be seen from their cheeks as they laughed together.
"Well I am going to talk to Hades about some stuff okay, also the sun should be setting soon so get dark soon. I have some fireworks for everyone saved up from the last party and I need to get rid of them so I would get dressed and get ready for some fun." I said as she grinned at me, my mom loved fireworks.
"Got it I will tell the others." She said as she got up as I looked up at the 7 o'clock sun which was going to rest behind the horizon in about 1 hour.
"Alright everyone go get dressed Percy says he has a fireworks for us to play with once the sun goes down." Sally called to everyone as they all grew excited. Tiffany looked exceptionally excited as her face lit up as Zain scooted back a little like her happiness was infectious. But as Bianca and Death gathered their children to get dressed and dried off I walked over to Hades as he dried off.
He had just got off one of those fancy floats that is like a lounging chair that has a drink holder on it. With his black glasses to block out the sun and a glass of the darkest beer I have ever see in his hand he looked cool. But as I walked over to him and managed to drive off a drooling Persephone who couldn't help but stare at her husband.
"Hey can I have a word with you?" I asked him as he nodded and took off his shades as everyone slowly merged to inside as Hannah walked hand in hand with Bianca's youngest as their oldest escorted the pair inside. Soon it was empty other than me and Hades as I turned to him and let out the largest sigh in my existence of a being as he looked intrigued.
"I don't think I have ever heard you this depressed what's up?" He asked me as I looked at him and asked him the hardest question I have ever asked another male in my existence.
"How do you deal with a pregnant women?" I asked him in an embarrassing tone as he just started laughing.
"You have 2 kids and 2 on the way and you don't know how to act around a pregnant women. Well for starters the two you did have you weren't exactly around for the gestation period so I will tell you. Rule one, in any argument you are always wrong even if you are right." He said in a serious tone.
"I know that already, second rule." I said.
"The second rule is no matter what cravings they get you must fetch it for them in under 20 minutes. It doesn't matter if it is only available on the other side of the world you will get it for them." He said as I nodded solemnly.
"Third rule you must compliment her not matter what, it doesn't matter if she is wearing 50 year old sweat pants with a mud caked t-shirt that is neon green. You will always tell them they are gorgeous and they can pull anything off. This applies daily as a simply 'hello beautiful' every morning when you wake up." He said as I nodded taking mental notes.
"I pretty much do that anyways but next rule." I said as he nodded.
"Rule four is the most important and probably the hardest to handle. She will have mood swings no matter what. Since she is a god like you her mood swings will be harsher and longer, but you must always comfort her during these times. Sometimes a simply hug will work or sometimes you will have to listen to her ridiculous commands. But under any circumstance do you leave her alone during these times. This will make her believe you have given up on her, so don't every do that it just causes more trouble." He said with a nod as he seemed to think.
"Also you have to make all food or someone else, don't let her get stressed, massages are a daily must about after lunch, alcohol is a no go don't let her near the stuff, you will listen to her complaints on all things no matter how ridiculous, always take her side on everything, and last but not least just try your best." He said as he gave me a small smile.
"No man is perfect trust me, you will mess up that is a given. But don't ever give up no matter how much lighting her estrogen filled body can launch at you. Oh almost forgot try to keep her to a minimum on the power usage, if she uses her powers it delays the birth by a certain time amount. Since both of you are gods technically all of her power will be focused on the children inside her, if she uses her power during the gestation period it will prolong the birth." He said as I looked confused.
"How long can a birth be prologues if she uses her powers?" I asked him as he seemed to think.
"If she uses it every day let's say about 10 percent it will be extended to about 2 years. But if she uses all her power in one day I know for a fact it will increase it at least 100 to about 150 years. So be careful and make sure she doesn't use her powers, unless she wants to keep the baby in her longer." He said with a smirk as my face turned into one of dred.
"Actually I have something just for this kind of instance, I think it is in here…Ah here it is." He said reaching around in a small shadow as I grabbed a bracelet thing as I looked up at him.
"It is something I had Apollo develop for Persephone when she was pregnant. It takes the amount of power she has and had a percentage she can use each day without any effects to the baby. But it also tells you the time left for the child to be born as well, it adds up the times she goes over the recommended percentage as well. So if the clock says 9 months and she uses let's say 10 percent it will jump up to 2 years." He said as I nodded.
"Thanks." I said as he laughed.
"Please I am helping all of us, if Thalia uses her more than her daily usage of power we all will pay in the long run. Trust me I know Persephone will be coming over a lot to talk about children stuff with her. So the longer the gestation period the longer she will drag me along to this horrible plane of being." He said as I laughed.
"You hate the sun don't you?" I said as he laughed.
"No I don't I just hate it, I just hate it when the rays of sun land on me. Shade I am okay with but direct sunlight I don't like." He said as it was my turn to laugh.
"You sound like a vampire." I said as he laughed.
"Sometimes Persephone calls me one, but I swear to god if I start glittering because you said that there will be a special place in hell for you I promise." He said pointed a finger at me as I laughed.
"I bet your wife won't be able to keep her hands off you if you started glittering." I said as he seemed to think for a second.
"I take back my last statement." He said as I laughed.
"Whatever let's get dressed and break out those fireworks." I said as he laughed and followed me inside.
LINEBREAK:
A few hours later and about 1700 dollars in fireworks along with just about 100 sparklers for the young kids and we were good. It was about 10 o'clock now as Hannah finally passed out in my arms as I gently rocked her back and forth. The 3 of Bianca youngest as well as Tiffany and Zain were all passed out as well. Tiffany and Zain had taken the coach as they feel asleep holding hands, man it is good to be young.
All the others were passed out on a large King size bed that Bianca and Death put them to bed in. Since it was so late for the children they decided that they would stay the night, plus since this place is huge there is no chance of not having enough room. So with that Bianca's 3 oldest each took different rooms, and their parents took one room to do who knows what. But I do know one thing the way Bianca was looking at Death it didn't leave a stretch to the imagination to what they were doing.
"I am going to be upstairs if you need anything." Thalia said taking Hannah from me as I nodded as I watched her go upstairs to our room, which happened to be right by Hannah's. But as she did I started to say goodbye to everyone.
"Night you guys." I said giving Persephone a hug along with Hades.
"Night." They both said as they started to walk towards the exit so they wouldn't wake anybody up with the flash from their teleport. But from the look in Persephone's eyes I guess hades was going to get some tonight that is for sure.
"Looks like Hades won't be sleeping tonight." Said Poseidon and Sally at the same time even with a nod at the end. At that they laughed for a second as they said their goodbyes, with a simple hug and a pat on the back they were gone. Sally simply went upstairs as Poseidon trotted out the front door. Julia waiting for Poseidon seeing as he was staying in her realm, but I must say the two seemed close. Closer than normal people would be at, but still just the thought of the whole family situation sent chills down my back.
"Well I guess I will leave that thought for a later day, for now let's go get some sleep this body of mine needs it." I said to myself as I began to walk up the stairs in hopes that this piece around me would sustain itself.
Boom and I am done so I am totally going for a Poseidon/Julia pairing right now. Nothing like making things weird in a story and I right. Also as you can tell Zain and his girlfriend are getting along nicely.
