My POV:

We then went to Guadosalam after a quick rest and saw the musicians playing music and we also saw that the Guado had returned. Tromell walked up to us. "There could be no sweeter melody. It is as if this music delivered the Guado from our unhappy fate. Reviled by all of Spira, most of my people decided to forsake Guadosalam. Those of us who remained until the very end eventually tired of our miserable fortune and fled to Macalania. We went to wither away, together with the woods. That is when we met our musical friends. They, too, were prepared to fade away with their beloved Macalania Woods. Yet hearing them perform, I felt a quickening in my blood. I was quite moved. I could not stand by and let such exquisite music be extinguished. After consulting with the other Guado, I decided to bring them home to Guadosalam. Not a single Guado objected. It's been many years since I've seen such solidarity among my people. Surely this music was the salve that healed our weary hearts." Tromell finished his speech.

"I am quite aware of the Ronso's hatred for the Guado. If they were to attack tomorrow, I would neither run nor hide. If they asked to talk, I would talk. Were they to take my life, I would give it willingly." Tromell added.

"Not the Ronso. They don't want bloodshed." Yuna explained.

"Right, 'cause their elder's on top of things!" Rikku exclaimed.

"That is auspicious news. The Guado, too, must choose a new leader." Tromell said.

"What about you?" Rikku asked.

Tromell exclaimed, "Preposterous! I will never be remembered for anything by my service under Lord Jyscal and Lord Seymour."

"Ah, quit yer bellyachin'! Ye'd make a fine leader." Donga, one of the musicians, said.

"You guided us to salvation without any concern for your own safety. You show resolve worthy of a leader." Bayra complimented.

"But my strength came from your music!" Tromell insisted.

"You're wrong. The music only helped you unlock your own inner strength." Paine said.

"You really think so? Then I will work these old bones as best I can. For my beloved Guado." Tromell said.

"If you're ever feeling weary, we'll play a song to make you cheery!" Pukutak exclaimed. We decided to then travel across the Thunder Plains.

"Fiends!" one Al Bhed exclaimed. We got a transmission from Shinra.

"Sphere waves scattered during the concert caused fiends endemic to this region to rampage." Shinra explained.

"So, in other words, your Sphere Screen is to blame." Christian said.

"Huh. "Find a sphere and the fiends appear"?" Shinra asked in an uncertain voice. I giggled. We started fighting all the fiends we could find. One big dragon swiped me on the ground with its tail. I grunted and got up quickly. I transformed into a Samurai and beat the crap out of it. Once we defeated most of them…"Um, the lightning isn't stopping…" Rikku commented. Just on time, I flinched as lightning flashed. Paine put a hand on my shoulder and I just gave her a faint smile.

"Let's look around some more." Yuna suggested.

"We still haven't checked that tower." I said as I pointed towards a tower to the far left.

"Wanna take a look?" Rikku asked.

"Let's check it out." Yuna replied. We were walking near the tower when we saw Humbaba.

"Yuna!" Paine exclaimed.

"Bring it, beefsteak!" Rikku and I both exclaimed.

"Come on Fatso!" Christian shouted. We all readied our weapons and fought the….thing. We defeated it and everything went back to normal. The Al Bhed guy went up to us.

"Thanks a lot! Did you check the tower out yet? There's a strange hole." the Al Bhed said.

"Hole huh?" Christian muttered. I nudged his side and muttered Cid's name to him. He let out a look of realization and his mouth formed into an O.

"He says there's another hole by the tower." Rikku said.

"Think it's connected to the others?" Paine questioned.

"I don't think there's a fayth here." Yuna said. After some more talking, we all decided to go in the hole. When we got inside the hole, we found Cid sitting on the ground.

"Father?" Rikku asked.

"Howdy!" Cid exclaimed.

"Howdy? What howdy? What the heck are you doing?" Rikku asked furiously.

"I found a hole, so I decided to explore it. Call it curiosity. But this place is swarmin' with fiends! I, uh…can't get out. Do Pop a favor and show him the way out of here." Cid said. He tried to get up, but failed. "Must've pulled something."

"You are so lame!" Rikku and Christian shouted.

"Who's gonna carry him?" Yuna asked. I smiled and crossed my arms.

"Hey, let a man keep his pride!" Cid exclaimed. I laughed.

"Got a better idea?" Paine and I asked.

"Well, how about this.." he said as he opened a door. "Make yer old man proud and scrap that thing!" he exclaimed. Great, the effing Machina Panzer. Oh god, how I hated this thing. I transformed into a Black Mage, Yuna a Warrior, Rikku a Berserker, Christian a Dark Knight, and Paine a Gunner. Once we defeated it, Cid exclaimed, "Teenagers these days are out of control!"

"Meh, shut up old man." Christian said as he closed his eyes and let out a knowing smile as he held my hand.

"Um, you're welcome aboard our airship." Yuna commented. We then got a transmission from Brother.

"Father, if you want on the ship, apologize to me." Brother demanded.

"I'm sorry son." Cid replied.

"That was too easy. What's he plotting?" Brother asked. Cid hmphed. We boarded the airship with Cid. I was in the bridge with everyone else, except for Yuna, who went on the deck. Cid came in and went over to Brother.

"Will you quit your reckless piloting?" Cid asked him.

"Mind your own business, Father!" Brother exclaimed. Rikku then decided to speak up.

"Don't strain yourself, Father. You might break something." she said.

"This is our ship. Let us handle it." Brother added.

"Do what you want." Cid announced as he turned around. I looked at Christian with a worried look and he just shrugged. I looked at Rikku and mouthed 'Are you ok?'. She smiled and nodded. 'Don't worry.' she mouthed back. I turned to both Cid and Brother, then scoffed as I crossed my arms.

"Hey Cid, lay off your son. Give him a break. He's getting older and WHO was the one that probably taught him how to pilot like that? Hmm? And Brother, respect your dad. One day, you'll miss it when he treats you like that." I told both of them with my eyes closed. Cid turned to me curiously and I shook my head. Christian and I decided to go in the Cabin and talk.

"Hey….so….you think Cid and Brother's gonna get better?" Christian asked me. I shrugged and put my head on his shoulder. He looked down at me and rested his head on mine.

"Christian…I'm worried." I told him. He looked at me with a knowing look and smiled.

"About Gippal?" he asked. I shook my head no. "Well, that's a shock." I smiled and playfully punched him on the shoulder.

"I am, but I'm also worrying about Shiro and Aquamarine more. I wonder how they're doing. I hope they're ok." I said, looking up at the ceiling.

"They'll be fine. We just need to worry about Shuyin." Christian said as he held my hand. I just sighed and leaned against him. He kissed me and told me we should probably get back to the bridge. I nodded and we walked, hand in hand, back to the deck. Somehow, I could just see Tidus smiling at me.
