A/N Thanks for reading, guys. I really appreciate all the reviews, I hope you are liking it. Let me know! More coming soon =]
They let themselves into the Dark complex, Tamsin being careful not to get blood on anything. They got to Lauren's lab and let themselves in, but the doctor was nowhere to be found. Bo pulled Tamsin over to one of the low couches along one wall and forced her to sit. She walked over to Lauren's bench and started rummaging through stacks of papers.
Tamsin raised her eyebrows. "What are you doing, Succubus?"
Bo's voice was distracted as she answered, "Just looking. I've watched Lauren do this so many times..."
Tamsin laughed. "She's going to kill you, you know."
Bo shot her a look. "She's going to try."
The Valkyrie shrugged. "Hey, if you mess up her shit, I'm pretty sure that's justifiable homicide. Nothing I can do about it."
Bo just glared at her for a moment before moving to the cabinets running along the opposite wall. She knelt in front of them and started opening doors. Suddenly a thought occurred to her.
"Hey, what was he? You told me not to use my powers on him. Why?"
Tamsin shook her head. "He's going to be a pain in the ass. He's a Doppel."
"What's that?"
"It means that he can mirror your abilities. If you use your powers against him, he can use them against you. Just temporarily, but it means we'll have to fight him the old-fashioned way." She smirked. "I get why The Morrigan uses him. He's probably pretty persuasive."
Bo considered this. "So when I..."
"He could have done it back to you. Luckily, you didn't Succu-suck him, or he could have drained you." She paused. "If he is Erin's dad, it makes sense. Normally, Dendrobs can only come from Animalia Fae. But if Vincent had acquired Animalia powers before sleeping with Heather…that would do it too."
Bo was still kneeling in front of the open cabinets. The sound of the lab door shutting behind her made her jump. Lauren was standing there, arms crossed, looking down at Bo disapprovingly. Bo
"Hi..." her voice was steady.
Bo jumped up. "Hi! Sorry! I was just - "
"Pretty sure you aren't supposed to be touching that," Lauren replied, her face softening into a smile as she walked over and closed the cabinet door. She turned and glanced at Tamsin with her bloody fist. Her expression turned concerned. "Are you ok?"
Tamsin nodded. "It's not mine." She stood up and walked towards Lauren, holding her hand in front of her. "I brought you another DNA sample to test."
Lauren rolled her eyes lightly and smiled. "Still no cheek swabs, huh?"
Tamsin shrugged. "He wasn't being very cooperative."
Lauren turned and pulled open one of the drawers, glancing at Bo as she grabbed a cotton swab and test tube. Bo smiled sheepishly and nodded.
"That's what I was looking for."
Lauren smiled. "I know." She moved towards Tamsin and carefully ran the swab along her bloodied knuckles. She quickly dropped the now-red swab into the test tube and capped it. She turned back to Bo. "I can test it a bit later, I'm in the middle of something right now. Can I let you know tonight?"
Bo nodded. "Sure, not a problem. Anything I can help with?"
Lauren shook her head. "Not right now. But I have a theory that I'm hoping you guys will agree to let me test out at some point."
Tamsin piped up. "Doc, if you think we're going to get freaky in front of you for science..."
Lauren blushed and looked down, shaking her head. "No...no, nothing like that," she stammered. "I just...I think I'd like to see what happens if Vincent feeds off of Bo."
Bo and Tamsin glanced at each other, and Bo nodded. "Yeah, we can do that sometime. Why?"
Lauren's face was still a little flushed, but she looked at them as she answered. "I haven't been able to stabilize his DNA through your blood. I'm wondering if your chi would help."
Tamsin smirked at how flustered her comment had made the doctor. She spoke up again. "I guess that makes sense." She looked at Bo. "No sex, Succubus. I don't care how tempted you are."
"I don't know," Bo replied, fluttering her eyelashes, "I've never been with an Incubus before."
The two women stared at each other for a moment before Lauren cleared her throat, clearing trying to interrupt the flirting.
"Actually," she said quickly, "it probably wouldn't be as, um, sexually fulfilling for you as being with a Valk...as being with, um, Tamsin." She had turned back to her desk and was preparing a sample for the centrifuge.
Tamsin's smirk deepened. "Damn straight."
"Biologically speaking, since he'd be feeding off of you as well, you wouldn't be quite as satisfied. Not to mention the whole bond thing..." her voice trailed off and she shot a nervous glance at Bo, concerned that the Succubus might not have shared her theory with the Valkyrie. But Tamsin just shrugged and nodded. Lauren nodded as well, relieved. "So, Tamsin, I don't think you'll have to worry about her getting carried away," she finished with a nervous smile towards them.
Tamsin shrugged again. "Good to know."
Suddenly, Bo's phone rang. She pulled it out and answered it.
"Hello?"
She listened intently for a minute. "Woah, Kenzi, slow down. What?"
There was another long pause before she replied, "Ok, I'll be right there."
She hung up and looked at Tamsin apologetically. "Sorry, Kenzi needs me."
Tamsin nodded. "Everything ok? Do you need backup?"
"I don't think so," Bo replied, smirking slightly. "I'm pretty sure this crisis is more boy-related than demonic possession-related."
Tamsin rolled her eyes. "Got it. Yeah, I'm gonna let you take that one on your own."
"Will you do me a favor though?"
"Sure," she agreed. "What do you need?"
"Will you check on Erin?" Bo asked, her eyes pleading. "Just make sure she's doing ok?"
Tamsin nodded. "Yeah, ok."
Bo leaned over and gave her a quick kiss before shooting a slightly guilty glance at Lauren. The doctor looked down sheepishly and blushed lightly. Tamsin avoided eye contact with either woman as Bo headed towards the door, waving back at both blondes.
Once alone, Lauren and Tamsin stood there awkwardly for a minute. Finally, Lauren broke the silence.
"We should get your hand cleaned up. I think I've got all the samples I need, so you can just wash up in the sink." She gestured toward the row of sinks along the wall.
Tamsin nodded. "Sure." She walked to the sinks and turned the water on, scrubbing at the dried blood on her skin.
"How are you doing?" Lauren asked from behind her.
She shrugged. "I'm good. A little tired," she said, shooting a playful glare towards the doctor.
She blushed. "Sorry about that. Sometimes I have a hard time letting go of a project once I start. I'm like a dog with a scent. I get a little overexcited."
Tamsin laughed lightly. "It's ok. I appreciate what you're doing for me. And for Bo." She gave her a meaningful look. "But next time, can it wait until morning?"
Lauren laughed along with her. "Yes. Of course."
Tamsin turned off the water and dried her hands on her pants. She nodded towards the computer. "Any progress?"
Lauren nodded. "Some. But it's going to take a few days for it to compare the two samples completely. I found a few other abnormalities. I think the most interesting thing is when I compare your DNA before and after you met Bo. It really is incredible."
"What do you mean?" Tamsin asked, squinting at the computer screen. It just looked like a bunch of huge strings of numbers to her.
Lauren pointed to one specific strand. "Like this. Your physiology changed when you met her. This nucleotide adapted. If I compare it with," she moved the mouse and pulled up a different file, "the same nucleotide position in Bo's DNA. They're almost identical now. It's like your bodies were already starting to bond, I guess. I don't really understand it."
Tamsin smirked. "Something you don't understand?"
Lauren smiled at her. "Trust me, there's plenty I don't understand."
Tamsin looked back at the screen. "So…what? I was becoming…a Succubus? What?"
Lauren shook her head. "I don't think so, not exactly. I've read so many accounts of bonded warriors, all the ones I could find. I think that the bond imbues you with the power of your warrior. At least to some extent. I believe the mental connection would account for some of the changes I saw in your nervous system when I did those full body scans."
Tamsin scrunched her nose. "Mental connection?"
She nodded. "That's a pretty well-known fact. Once the bond is formed, the pair will develop selective telekinetic powers. They can communicate with each other without speaking, and feel what the other one is feeling."
"Bo could hear whatever I was thinking?" Her face must have shown the fear that this thought caused, because Lauren laughed.
"Yeah. No more secrets." She shrugged. "But you wouldn't really need them, right? If you were bonded…it would all be out on the table."
Tamsin looked at her carefully. "Listen, Doc, don't get me wrong. I really do appreciate how you've suddenly become Team Tamsin. But..."
Lauren smiled sadly. "But am I actually ok with this?"
Tamsin nodded, looking at the ground. Lauren sighed.
"I don't have a choice." She looked Tamsin square in the face. "I really do want Bo to be happy, you know? Part of me wishes that I could be the one to make her happy. But I can't be, not anymore. Maybe not ever, really. You know, it explains a lot that you two are…destined." She managed to say the word without even a hint of sarcasm in her voice, but Tamsin still winced.
"You know it…it doesn't change what you guys had. I can't love anyone but Bo. But she…she can love whomever she wants. And she…she really loved you."
Lauren walked back towards her bench. Her face was turned away from Tamsin when she responded. "Mhm. I know. But it was never going to be right between us. No matter how much we loved each other." She sat and started peering into her microscope. Tamsin stood and watched her for a minute.
"Well, I guess I'm going to go check on Erin."
Lauren nodded without removing her face from the microscope. "Sounds good. I'll call with the results when I have them." She waited until she heard Tamsin close the door behind her before she leaned back in her chair and stared at the ceiling, blinking back tears. Of course she wanted Bo to be happy. And she could see that they were happy. She was doing everything she could to help them, and she knew that that was the right thing to do. But that didn't mean it didn't still hurt.

Tamsin strolled through the hall, keeping an eye out for Evony. She really didn't want another run in until she figured out how to deal with the fact that she had decked The Morrigan's favorite pet. She approached the office carefully. The guards were speaking softly to each other.
"Hey," she said, interrupting them. "She in there?"
They both shook their heads. "She's out."
"The kid?"
"Safe inside."
"Let me through."
They exchanged glances before stepping aside. She pushed open the door and glanced around. Erin was sitting in The Morrigan's chair reading and she looked up when Tamsin walked in.
"Oh," she said, nonplussed. "You."
"Yeah," Tamsin said. "Um. Hey."
"Evony's not here."
Tamsin took a step towards her, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. "No. Um, actually, I'm here to see you."
Erin closed the book and cocked her head, looking bored. "Me? Why?"
"Just wanted to…you know. Check on you, or whatever."
"Evony says that you're the problem. She probably wouldn't like it if she knew you were alone here." She was the picture of innocence.
"Shit." Tamsin rolled her eyes. "Come on, kid. I'm not the enemy."
Erin finally smiled. "Relax, I'm just messing with you."
Tamsin glared at her. "Very funny."
"So. You're Bo's girlfriend."
Tamsin rolled her eyes again and flopped down into the chair across Evony's desk. "Yeah. What about it?"
Erin hummed lightly. "It's just interesting."
"Why?"
"Bo's so nice."
Tamsin narrowed her eyes. "And, what? I'm not?"
Erin shook her head. "No. You're actually kind of a bitch."
"Hey!" Tamsin sat up straight, glaring at her.
Erin laughed delightedly. "I'm just kidding!"
Tamsin leaned back again. "I don't kid," she grumbled.
Erin was still giggling. "Obviously."
Tamsin shook her head. "You are right though. Bo is very nice."
Erin cocked her head. "Do you love her?"
"Jeez!" Tamsin exclaimed. "Personal much?"
"Is that a problem?"
"I'm not just going to go spilling my life story to some nosy kid. That's not why I'm here."
"So why are you here?"
"I told you. Bo wanted me to check on you. Make sure you're ok." She stood up. "Which you obviously are so…"
"Will you help me with something?"
Tamsin froze. "Uh. What?"
Erin stood up and walked around the desk to where Tamsin was standing. "You're immune to my poison, right? Like, totally immune?"
Tamsin stared at her suspiciously. "Yeah. Why?"
Erin shrugged. "I need a dummy." Tamsin opened her mouth to protest this characterization and Erin laughed again. "A practice dummy, dummy."
"Oh." Tamsin considered this for a second. "Uh. Ok. I guess that's fine." She took a step backwards. "What are you going to - "
Before she could finish her sentence, she was hit with a concentrated cloud of white mist. "Hey!" she exclaimed angrily, coughing. "A little warning?"
Erin looked smug. "Thought you were supposed to be tough or something."
"I…" Tamsin glared at her. "I am tough. I am tougher than you can even imagine. I could destroy your mind without even touching you. And," she paused for effect, "in case you didn't notice, your only power has zero effect on me, other than a minor cough."
Erin just shrugged. "Then you shouldn't need any warning." Sure enough, another cloud zoomed into Tamsin's face before she could respond.
"Fine," Tamsin snarled at her. "You want to fight, kid?"
Erin just smiled at her. "Thought I was no match for you."
"You aren't." Tamsin groaned. "Ugh. Kids."
"You and Bo should have babies. You'd be great parents."
Tamsin shot her a look. "I don't appreciate sarcasm."
Erin laughed. "Really? It seems to be your primary form of communication. Besides," she continued, "that wasn't sarcasm. I'm serious."
Tamsin gave her a blank stare. "Even worse."
"But you do love her. I can tell these things."
Tamsin groaned. "Back to this?"
Erin cocked her head towards the Valkyrie. "Seriously. Why is it so hard for you to admit you love her?"
Tamsin turned towards her. "Kid. It's complicated. More complicated than you can imagine."
Erin shrugged. "It's kinda not. Either you love her or you don't. And," she paused, giving the blonde a significant look, "you definitely do."
Tamsin closed her eyes. She took a deep breath. "Ok. Say…say I do."
"You do," Erin interjected. Tamsin opened her eyes and glared at her and the girl giggled. "Sorry. Continue."
"How do I…how should I…I mean, I've never…" She trailed off, looking at Erin pleadingly.
Erin considered this. "Hmm. So you've never told her you love her?"
Tamsin looked at the ceiling. "I've never loved anyone before. Never said. Never thought I'd say it."
"Jeez." Erin looked surprised. "And you're how old?"
"Old," Tamsin snarled. "Very old. My race…we don't love like humans. We can only love once. But I…I gave up my chance to love. I let them take it. But Lauren…the doc tells me that by doing that, they sort of…gave me the ability to fall in love like a human. Which, I guess, I have."
"Hmm," Erin said, smiling slightly. "You were right, I guess it is sort of complicated." She took a step towards the blonde and placed a hand comfortingly on her shoulder. "But, Tamsin. If you love her, just tell her."
Tamsin glanced down at the hand on her shoulder, and then lifted her eyes to Erin's. "Remove. The. Hand," she ordered through gritted teeth.
Erin laughed and moved backwards. "Fine, grumpy. Have it your way." She moved back behind the desk and, before Tamsin could react, sent a cloud of white mist swirling around the Valkyrie. It moved in spirals, encircling her body. While she was immune to the poison, the effect was still pretty disorienting. Tamsin closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and, with a wince, extracted her wings. The tearing, cracking sound echoed through the room and she heard Erin gasp as she used the appendages to beat the cloud of mist away in just a few powerful motions. The cloud dissipated and Tamsin was left standing, staring at Erin. The girl's jaw had dropped and she was staring at the Valkyrie in awe.
"Wow," she exhaled faintly. "That's incredible. You're incredible."
"Yeah, yeah," Tamsin replied, smirking. She pulled her wings back in and stretched her back. "I know." She looked at Erin, the smirk dropping from her face. "That was good, though. Really impressive. I'd say you're pretty much ready for your test."
Erin shook her head, still stunned. "I…thank you…you think?"
Tamsin nodded. "Definitely. We'll set it up. Then you can finally get out of this office and away from that bit – " she stopped herself. "Evony."
"She's really powerful, you know."
"I'm aware." She smirked. "I also know that I could take her down in a heartbeat if I wanted to."
Erin nodded, this time not doubting her at all. Suddenly, Tamsin's phone rang. She looked at the display, and then picked up.
"Hey Doc, what's up?" She listened for a moment, glancing at Erin, a hint of concern crossing her face. "Ok. Thanks. Yeah, I'll tell her." There was another long pause. "Wow, ok. Yeah. Alright, bye." She hung up and looked at the girl. "Well, we found your father."
Erin's eyes widened. "Really? Is he…"
Tamsin shook her head. "He's alive. He's not a good guy, Erin. He doesn't want to help us at all. But we'll work on him, ok? It's a start."
Erin nodded. "Thank you."
Tamsin shrugged. "Just doing my job." She turned towards the door. "I should get back to Bo. Let her know about Vincent. You good?"
Erin nodded. "I'm good. Thanks, Tamsin." Just as Tamsin was about to open the door, she spoke again. "Oh, and you should really tell Bo. Soon, ok?"
Tamsin shot her a look and Erin laughed as she walked out.

"Kenzi? You here?"
Bo was barely through the door when she was tackled. She hit the ground hard.
"Oof! Kenz! Jesus!"
"Bo-Bo! Thank god you're home!" She was lying directly on top of Bo, squeezing her tightly. Bo tried to look down at her, but she couldn't move her head.
"Um. Kenz? Everything ok?"
The girl sighed and climbed off of her. Reaching down to help Bo up, she rolled her eyes. "Now that Lil T isn't hovering around - "
"Hang on," Bo interrupted. "I thought you were all for me and Tamsin."
"I am!" Kenzi insisted. "It just feels icky talking about my double-trouble sexytimes in front of her."
Bo raised her eyebrows and grinned. "Sexytimes, huh? My favorite." She sat down on the couch, pulling Kenzi down next to her. "Ok. What's up?"
She groaned. "How do you do it?"
Bo looked confused. "Sex? Um…"
"No, Succu-slut. I've got a handle on that. Threesomes! How do you do it? I'm overwhelmed and my entire body hurts. I've never been this sore in my life." She leaned back on the couch. "I feel like I just ran three marathons in a row."
Bo grinned. "Well, you kind of did."
"I know!" Kenzi sighed "I really like him, Bo-Bo."
"But the sex is…?"
"No, no! Trust me, it's magnificent. I just…sometimes I just wish I could have just one of him. Two is exhausting."
"So tell him that. Do you think he'd get offended?"
"I don't know! Would you get offended if someone wanted to have sex with you without you using your Succubus skills?"
Bo considered this. "I don't think so. I think it actually makes it more special when I don't." She looked at Kenzi. "Just talk to him, Kenz. If he's as good a guy as you think he is, it'll be fine."
Kenzi looked at Bo. "Ok. I'll try. But if that doesn't work…do you have any tips?"
Bo grinned. "Make one of them watch. It's hot for them and you get to just focus on one at a time."
Kenzi smiled. "This, my sweet Succu-friend, is why you are my sexpert."
