Chapter 38: Euphoria
Naruto woke up early. He looked around the unfamiliar room.
'Where am I?' He stood up and stretched his arms. Then he remembered what happened last night, 'Oh! I'm in Hinata's house. Where is she? Where is Ren?' As if on cue, Hinata came out of the bedroom.
"Good Morning Naruto! Did you sleep soundly? I wanted to wake you up so you'll sleep in the bedroom but you seem to be in a deep sleep."
Naruto grinned, "I never slept so soundly in years!"
Hinata smiled to him. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"Oh! Whatever you cook is fine! After all, everything you cook is amazing!" Hinata blushed.
"Thank you!" She went to the kitchen but was surprised to see Naruto was still following her. Naruto noticed his questioning gaze.
"I want to help..."
"I can do it. Just relax in the living room." She said as she tried reaching the pan. But Naruto beat her to it.
"I insist." He said firmly. Hinata smiled.
"Alright super Naruto... can you gather the noodles for me? It's in that cabinet. Naruto complied.

Sai touched his forehead as he forced his self to stand. He wasn't surprised when he found his self again in an unfamiliar room. It was a habit he had developed five years ago. The same reason he was branded womanizer by Mirage fans.
"Steady..." Sai sharply looked at the voice. The woman was assisting him to stand.
"Temari?" He asked, confused why the woman was there. Temari laughed.
"Ahhh.. so you forgot last night..." Sai's eyes widen, "Tch. Tch. You practically harrased me last night; grinding to me as we dance. Tch. Tch. And you quickly forgot. That's mean ... do you always do that Mr. Vali?"
"I... I... we..." Temari laughed once again.
"Don't worry, nothing happened between us. Unluckily, you fell asleep quickly after I place you on Kankuro's bed." Sai sighed. Then he smirked.
"Oh, so what will you do if I were awake?"
Temari blushed, "Baka..." she laughed nervously when she felt him closing the distance betweem them. He grabbed her hands.
"Tch... you wanted this?" He said as he led her hands to his chiseled stomach. Temari blushed harder when he led her hands further down.
"VALI!" Sai laughed.
"You should have seen your face! You were so red!" Temari pouted and smacked the man who laughed even louder.

Ren woke up. Nobody was beside him. He stood up and redied his self to meet Yamato when he heard laughter and teasings in the kitchen. He took a peek and gasped in awe as he saw them.
The kitchen was a mess. A Naruto in apron was shouting for instructions. Hinata was laughing at him. Hinata seems to have taken the commander role and let Naruto do all the work.
"Nata-chan! Stop laughing and help me with this!" Hinata only laughed. "NATA-CHAN!"
"Alright, alright..." Hinata took over what Naruto is doing. Naruto, intersted, looked at the what the girl is doing. After a few minutes, Hinata had cooked and prepared a wonderful meal.
"How did you do that?" Naruto asked.
"What?"
"That!" Hinata laughed at him.
"It's easy. I know magic." Naruto snorted.
"It isn't real. Magic is not real."
"Wow! Naruto! You know that?! When have you become so logical?" Naruto blushed and Hinata laughed at him.
"Well, if magic is true then you'll be here 5 years ago." Naruto defended his self. He suddenly clasped his mouth with his hands.
"You resorted to magic?" Hinata asked after a long silence.
Naruto groaned, "I was desperate alright? And magicians said they know apparition. I was stupid, okay?"
Suddenly, Hinata laughed. "That is so damn funny!"
"Don't laugh at me!" He said. But he loves her laugh. Truthfully, he wants to hear her laugh more, he doesn't really care if he looks stupid for her. Then he felt something tickling his sides, his most sensitive side.
"You're so serious! You were pouting too much." Hinata continued to tickle him until he begged for her to stop. They both collapsed on the kitchen floor.
"Please... Hinata.. I can't breathe..." Hinata fell to his top, laughing. Both of them are. Naruto then realized someone else's presence.
"Ren!" He exclaimed. Ren walked towards them, he was grinning.
"You look so good together!" He shouted. Both Hinata and Naruto blushed and hurried themselves up.
"Ahhh... come on... let's eat... before the food gets cold." Hinata awkwardly said.
Their breakfast was a blast. Naruto and Ren are once again enganged in an animated conversation, with some interjections of Hinata. Ren adored them. What he said was what he genuinely feel; they looked good together. Besides, Hinata never laughed like that before, there's always a glint of sadness in her eyes when she laugh. But her laughter earlier, it was purely out of amusement.
Ren liked it; the twinkling that overtook the sadness in her eyes. He liked the Hokage too. And soon, he wished they all stayed like that forever. If only his mom and Yamato could get along, then all will be much perfect for him.
"So Ren, what are you planning to do today?" Naruto asked.
"I'm going to meet dad."
"Oh? That's bad. I was thinking of spending today with you. Let's go to the academy or Kurenai-sensei's..."
"Naruto… You can't be absent today. You can't abandon work."
"Oh, come on. It's only one day. It's the first time no one's going to be angry to me if I am absent."
"Oh yes there is. Me. I am your temporary secretary and as such I hold responsible of whatever you do." Naruto groaned.
"Come on… I already told Ren. Ren, help me on this." Ren complied. Hinata sighed.
"Alright. But only for today, got it?" Both of Naruto and Ren nodded. "How about Yamato?"
"I'll tell dad we're going to the academy. I know he'll understand."
"Why don't we just invite him with us?" Ren's eyes flickered.
Then there was a knock and Ren hurriedly went to it. Naruto and Hinata only heard happy voices and soon they had a glimpse of what was happening. Ren was dragging Yamato to the kitchen while trying to convince him to come with them. The two stopped and Yamato stared at Hinata and Naruto.
"Is it okay?" Yamto asked, cautious to Hinata.
"Yes. It's fine. I'm not against your visits to Ren so it's fine. I'm more than happy someone's looking over him while all of us are gone. But aren't we hindering your appointments or job?"
Yamato smiled, "I finished it before sunrise so it's fine. So where are we going?"
Naruto laughed, "To the academy!"

So I did say School Is Calling Me... and yes...it's still calling me...
Finals is this week and next... so I hope you'll understand... i'm going to be gone for a week or two... just heads up so you won't be checking every time you got... i don't really want to disturb or disappoint anyone... if they check this story and found no updates...
