Archer's Moemon Adventure
Chapter 42
"Okay, Ruri, go!" Archer said, tossing out a moeball, which Ruri emerged from, smiling.
"Oh yeah!" Ruri said, grinning. "Let's go!"
"Ice beam." Aurea said, opening her mouth, firing a beam of ice at Ruri. Ruri jumped to the side and curled into a ball, firing spines at Aurea, who jumped back to avoid them. Ruri moved forwards and leapt to her feet, the spines on her arm shooting out.
"Needle arm!" Ruri hit Aurea in the stomach, Aurea crying out in pain and flying backwards.
"Thunder wave." Aurea created a wave of electricity that she released towards Ruri, who released a blast of spikes into the air, blocking the electricity, the caltrops landing on the ground around Aurea.
"Pin missile!" Ruri fired a volley of needles towards Aurea, who smiled.
"Icy wind." Aurea said, opening her mouth, releasing a blast of icy wind that coated the quills in a layer of ice, and then sent them flying back towards Ruri.
"Shoot!" Ruri said, ducking to avoid the needles.
"Ice beam." Aurea fired a beam of ice at Ruri, hitting her head on, sending her flying back.
"Ow!" Ruri cried out, shivering. "That's cold!"
"Ancient power!" Aurea created large stones of energy that she fired at Ruri, who dodged them, charging towards Aurea, her arm releasing quills, hitting Aurea in the chest, Aurea crying out, collapsing to the ground, unconscious.
"Return." Kyrie said, returning Aurea to her moeball. "Now then, Tari, come on out!" Kyrie tossed out a moeball, which her Swablu emerged from.
"Pin missile!" Ruri shouted, firing a blast of quills at Tari, who flapped her wings, flying up into the air, Tari flapping her wings to fire a blast of cotton spores at Ruri, weakening her by blinding her. Tari flew towards Ruri, opening her mouth, releasing a blast of sonic sound, knocking Ruri over.
"Seed bomb!" Ruri shouted, firing a blast of seeds at Tari, hitting her head on, knocking her out of the air. Tari landed on the ground, and flapped her wings, creating a cotton mist.
"Where are you?" Ruri asked, looking around, frowning.
"Right here." Tari said, appearing behind her. "Dragon pulse!" Tari opened her mouth, creating a shockwave of cotton energy that hit Ruri head on, knocking her unconscious.
"Ruri!" Archer exclaimed, shocked. "Return."
Archer returned Ruri to her moeball. "Fiona, come on out!"
"Yes." Fiona said, emerging from her moeball, smiling. "It's a pleasure to meet you!"
Fiona grabbed her wand, and twirled it in front of her like a baton, creating flames on the ends, firing a blast of flames at Tari, who flapped her wings, flying up into the air.
"Psychic!" Fiona said, flicking her wand, stopping Tari in midair.
"Hey!" Tari exclaimed. Fiona waved her wand, pulling Tari towards her, and with a flick of her wrist, the cotton surrounding her flew up into the air, surrounding Tari, wrapping around her and compressing into a ball, trapping Tari inside of it.
"Let me out!" Tari exclaimed in a muffled voice from inside the cotton.
Fiona fired a blast of flames at the cotton, igniting it, Tari falling out, unconscious.
"Return." Kyrie said, returning Tari to her moeball. "Kora, come on out!"
Kyrie tossed out a moeball, which a Corsola emerged from. She wore a white and pink dress with coral sticking out of the sides and back, and had messy pink hair with coral sticking out. She had sparkling black eyes, and a cheerful smile.
"Whoa, she's so cute!" Fiona said, smiling.
"Wow, where did you get her?" Archer asked, surprised. "I haven't seen her before!"
"Fishing." Kyrie said, smiling. "Now then, Kora, use bubblebeam!"
Kora opened her mouth, and fired a blast of bubbles towards Fiona.
"Fire spin!" Fiona spun her wand, releasing a tornado of flames that popped the bubbles, and continued on towards Kora.
"Light screen!" Kora said, holding out her hands, creating a screen of light that blocked out the flames.
"Darn." Fiona said, frowning. She waved her wand, lifting Kora in the air, but then Kora began glowing, cancelling out the psychic powers.
"What the heck?" Fiona asked, confused. "Psychic!"
Fiona focused a blast of psychic power at Kora, who smiled.
"Mirror coat!" Kora said, reflecting the psychic energy at Fiona, knocking her backwards, Fiona crying out in pain.
"Ancient power!" Kora created several large rocks, dropping them on Fiona, who managed to dodge to the side, only to be hit by another repetitive blast of rocks, knocking her unconscious.
"Return." Archer said, returning Kora to her moeball. "Okay then, Matsuri, go!"
Matsuri emerged from her moeball, smiling cheerfully, and charged at Kora.
"Reflect!" Kora said, creating a barrier in front of her.
"Whoa!" Matsuri said, grinning, jumping into the air, dodging the barrier, and created a sphere of water in her hand, shooting it at Kora, knocking her off of her feet. Matsuri landed on the ground, and held her hands up, creating several images of herself. The images rushed toward Kora, who tried desperately to create enough barriers, but they seemed to have no effect, Kora being bombarded from all sides.
"Water pulse!" Matsuri slammed her hand on the ground, releasing a blast of water from the ground, knocking Kora off of her feet, injuring her. Matsuri charged forward at a high speed, and coated her body in water.
"Waterfall!" Matsuri shouted, tackling Kora head on, sending her flying through the air, Kora crashing on the ground and losing consciousness.
"Darn…" Kyrie said, looking down, returning Kora to her moeball. "You beat me. Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to try a little harder next time, right?"
"Yeah, but you still won't beat me." Archer said, smiling smugly.
"Hey, drop that arrogant attitude!" Kyrie said, frowning. "I'll beat you next time, just you watch!"
"Yeah, we'll see." Archer said, laughing.
