Elena walks down the street, towards Chris. He narrows his eyes.

"Where's Loki?"

Elena shrugs. "He said he had to meet with someone. I didn't question it."

"You can't stop me. I have an ace up my sleeve."

Elena narrows her eyes. "What are you planning?"

Chris smirks. "Well, since you asked nicely..."

A flash of lightning interrupts Chris's train of thought. He glares at Elena.

"Are you kidding me?!"

Thor appears between the two in a flash of light. Elena relaxes slightly.

"Thank you."

Thor approaches Chris and easily subdues him. Elena smirks at Chris wiggling in Thors grasp.

"I knew everything would work out."

Thor turns to face Elena. "I have instructions for you too."

Elena's face drops. "What kind of instructions...?"

...

Elena approaches Odin slowly and claps her hands as she walks. He turns his attention to her as she stops in front of the throne.

"Wow, it looks like my dad finally has solid competition."

"I dread to ask for an explanation."

Elena smiles and stops clapping. "Oh, well you and my dad must be head to head in the asshole father competition. I mean, you're a good candidate, but my dad did call me a bitch on a regular basis for two years. But I did like you in silence of the lambs."

Thor runs up to Elena and kicks the back of her knee, making her fall. "My apologies father. She escaped capture multiple times."

Elena glares at Thor. "Sure Chris tries to slaughter everyone, but I save everyone and do I get a thanks? Nope. I get a trial."

Odin slams his septer against the ground and shouts. "Fifty years in imprisionment for a mortal."

Elena breathes a sigh of relief and Odin finishes. "However an immortal is deserving of a more suitable sentance. One thousand years."

Elena gets wide eyed. "I can't handle that! At least give me the tools I need to survive! I'm not an Asgardian after all."

"Very well. What is it a being such as yourself requires?"

Elena purses her lips thoughtfully. "I require...an Xbox 360...with GTA5...and new disks as they are released."

"Very well. Thor shall return to Midgard and obtain these items. Until then, you shall make do in the dungeon."

...

Six years ago...

Thomas Hillsmith angrily storms into his daughters room. He points at Elena, playing her DS and laying in bed.

"Grandma wants to see what you made with that crochet kit she got you."

Elena frowns. "I tried but I couldn't figure it out."

"She spent a lot of money on that."

"It smells like her basement."

"Yeah well, she wants something you made. Did you read the directions?"

Elena closes her game and gives her dad a look. "Yes. I did."

"Then, I'll help you. We're not going to bed until we make something."

...

Elena's father looks over the directions while he sits by his daughter at the kitchen table.

"Amaze your friends with a groovy purse! Wow your husband with a new scarf..."

"Is this just for girls?"

"I doubt it."

"Dad? What does groovy mean?"

"It means cool. Step one put your finger on the crochet stick..."

...7 hours later...

"This isn't rocket science! Just tie the knot like it said!"

Elena struggles to complete the complex knot as her father watches her angrily. "I can't do it. Can't we just go to bed? I'm tired."

"No! We've been at this all night. We're going to finish it."

Elena struggles as her hands shake. "It's not even a scarf! It just six feet of fancy string! Isn't there something easier?"

"No. Everything else is in Latin."

"Who speaks Latin?!"

Elena's dad throws down the instructions. "Fine. Go to bed! But you get to tell grandma how you wasted everyone's time and money."

Elena runs out of the kitchen, to her room and closes the door behind her. She looks over at Kate sitting on her bed, watching Elena intently. Once Elena sits on her own bed, Kate hands Elena a wrapped up paper towel.

"I snuck you a Mountain Dew."

Elena smiles. "Thanks."

"That way we can still watch the Degrassi marathon together."

"You didn't have to wait on me."

Kate smiles. "That's what sisters are for."

...present day...

Kate screams as she tightens her vice like grip on two of the metal bars to her cell. The henchman tries to pull her away with his grip around her waist. Crane watches with growing annoyance as Kate rambles in a panic.

"No. I didn't say anything! Take someone else instead! What about her?!"

Kate nods towards Chances cell. Crane narrows his eyes. "Are you weaker than a crying child?"

The henchman shakes his head. "She's just not letting go. I'm close to popping her shoulders out and she's not cracking."

Crane pinches the bridge of his nose in annoyance before straightening himself and pulling a syringe out of his pocket. He walks over to Kate and swiftly injects her with the sedative. Kate fights the darkness spreading throughout her mind until it overtakes her vision. The last thing Kate feels is her hands releasing the bars before she loses consciousness.

...

Crane stops the henchman from exiting the lab. "Jeremy, if I had entrusted you to retrieve the subject alone, she may have escaped. You've been reckless."

The henchman gulps. "But we got her here, so it's not a big deal."

Crane slowly circles the henchman. "Chance could have handled this incident blind, and yet you struggle with the most basic orders."

The henchman snorts. "Then if she's so special, whys the bitch locked up?"

Crane stabs a needle into the side of the henchman's neck before he notices Crane had stopped circling him. The henchman turns to face Crane but before he can react, a bump appears under his skin. The bump begins to move around. Several other bumps appear and begin to move around. Finally, the first bump splits open...and a spider crawls out.

The henchman begins screaming and clawing at his arms. Crane waits until the henchman is squirming on the floor. "She isn't a coward, unlike you."
