A/N: Thank you guys so much for reading, I know it's been a long time since I posted. I will admit I've been losing steam for this story but I really do want to wrap it up for you guys. There is still a lot more I have in store though. Thank you!

BPOV

Tired of being tugged my Emmett, I wrenched my wrist out of his grasp with a humph.

As we reached the Jeep Emmett, surprisingly, walked around to the passenger door and pulled it open for me. Despite the chivalry, I refused to make eye contact with him and slid into the car quietly.

I watched him cross the hood of the car and slide into the drivers seat. The minute Emmett was seated, he positioned himself to look at me.

"Bella."

I didn't answer.

"Bella."

Childishly, and to prove my point, I turned my head to face the my window instead of the windshield. I'll be damned if I have anything to say to him.

"Dammit Bella, look at me."

Still, I ignored him.

An uncomfortable couple of moments went by in utter silence until my fiancee finally had enough. Forcefully, Emmett reached over and gripped my chin, forcing me to look at him.

"We are going to talk about this, whether you like it or not", he seethed.

I pulled my chin away from his grasp with a fierce glare, "Which part do you want to talk about, huh Emmett? The part where you left me and went outside to hold a private conversation with "Dee" or the part where you almost killed a man?"

He clenched his jaw, clearly trying to refrain from completely exploding on me. "You know what? Maybe this conversation does need to wait."

I shook my head, "Oh no, you wanted to talk about this? Let's talk about it."

In the blink of an eye, Emmett lost it. "You really are a piece of work, you know that? You're sitting here mad at me because I took a fucking phone call? When you're the one stealing away secret moments with Edward in the fucking closet, and only hours later all over a man you don't even know!"

"How-"

He raised his hand to silence me. "Bella, his scent was all over the bedroom. I'm not the fool you take me for. What was he doing there?"

I sighed, "I don't know, he just showed up. I thought it was you but when I saw the car, I just-I don't know-"

Clearly not satisfied with my answer, he cut me off again, this time with far more venom than before. "Oh sure, he just happened to appear right when I left? Did he touch you Bella? Hm? Were you rekindling the relationship?"

I bit my lip, this conversation was hurting far worse than I expected.

"Don't sit there and act like you don't hear me!"

I still held my tongue, once again refusing eye contact.

With a huff of pure rage, Emmett shoved the key in the ignition and pulled out of the parking lot. He was driving far faster than the law allowed, but instead of cautioning him to slow down, I simply sat there, unaffected.

Minutes into the ride, I decided I couldn't take any more of this painfully obvious tension.

"Pull over Em."

He continued driving, as if he hadn't heard me.

"Emmett Cullen pull this car over right the fuck now."

Just when I was starting to think I might have to repeat myself, he whipped the car out of the lane and onto the right shoulder. I pushed open my door and exited the car, with a small sigh of relief.

I started walking in the direction of my home. Yes, I could run, but I needed the extra time to think.

I heard his voice call out from behind me, "Are you serious right now? You're just going to walk away from me?"

My steps never faltered as I responded, "Isn't that what you want?"

He huffed and jogged to catch up with me, blocking my path. He seemed to have calmed down a bit. "Jesus Christ Bella, you know that's not at all what I want. If that were the case, we wouldn't have made it this far."

I shook my head, "If you feel like you can't trust me, after everything we've been through, then what are we even doing here?"

"I don't trust you? Bella, you don't even trust me. I took a phone call, and you immediately assumed the worst, and went as far to retaliate by grinding up on some scum bag."

"Who was she?"

"Who?"

For some reason, his asinine question on top of everything going on just infuriated me. I placed my hands on his chest and shoved him backwards, "What the fuck do you mean who?! Danielle, or should I say "Dee", hm? What did you two have to discuss that was so private, you couldn't say in front of me? Are you fucking her Emmett? Is that what this is? TELL ME."

His eye narrowed in anger, "I was talking to a fucking wedding photographer!"

"If she was just a photographer, then what's with the nickname? That didn't sound too professional to me", I seethed.

He rolled his eyes, "She was the one who worked on Edward on Tanya's wedding, she hung around us for a while and you know how I am."

I sighed, I know how friendly he is with everyone. I bit my lip and cast my eyes downward, slightly shameful of my actions. "I'm sorry, the guy at the bar, I was just, you know- I thought- I mean-"

"You don't have to explain. I get it, trust me, I really get it. You wanted to hurt me because you were hurting. But I swear Bella even seeing you with someone else in that way…even though I know he doesn't matter," he tugged at his hair, "I just can't watch that."

I nodded, "I'm sorry, I just assumed the worst."

"So you understand why I need Edward and his shenanigans to stop, right? Imagine how I feel knowing he comes around when I'm not there. Imagine how I feel knowing he would give anything to have you back in his arms, with his ring on your finger. If you're really committed to me, you need to let go of Edward. I've had enough of him popping into our lives in attempts to take you from me. I can't take much more of this uncertainty."

I nodded, "Emmett I know, I want it to stop as much as you do. I'm so sorry I wasn't trying to hide anything from you, but I didn't want to ruin our night out."

"There's no way you actually thought you were keeping it from me. I would've known his scent a mile away."

I bit my lip and met his eyes, "I know."

This night had been a rollercoaster of emotion and I just wanted to crawl into bed and collapse.

He scratched the back of his neck uncomfortably, "We've been approaching this all wrong. I think you should talk to him."

My expression turned from somber to complete shock. Had I heard him properly?

"Wait you actually want me to go talk to him?"

"You two need to lay everything out there, and get past it so we can move on together," he clasped my hands in his much larger ones, "You two have a lot of unresolved issues."

I shook my head and took a deep, albeit unnecessary, breath. "I know. I just need to go home and think this through."

He nodded his head in understanding, "Me too. Come on." He tried to lead me back to the Jeep.

"I'm going to walk the rest of the way home."

"No way Bells."

I chuckled, "You know I can take care of myself, right?"

"Just let me drive you back."

"I want to walk, I really need to think."

"Then I'll walk with you."

Pushing my hair behind my ears I responded, "What about your car?"

He shrugged his shoulders, glancing over at his Jeep, "I can come back and get it later. C'mon, let's go." He took my hand, kissed my knuckle, and we began the rest of the trek to my house.

The walk was relatively quiet as we both mulled over the course of events that occurred over the past few hours. I tugged on Emmett's hand to break his pace. "Bella wha-", before he could finish his statement, I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pushed him backwards until he hit a tree.

"Emmett, I want you. I want you in every way possible."

"I know that, you don't have t-" I silenced him by pressing a firm kiss to his lips.

I broke away and moved my mouth to his ear, "Yes I do." Gently, I nibbled on his ear lobe, causing him to groan.

That seriously turned me on.

I began unbuttoning his shirt from the top down and slowly pushed it down his shoulders and arms, letting it drop to the ground. I trailed kisses down his neck, chest, and abdomen. When I reached the top of his pants, I made quick work of his belt, button, and zipper. Once I got going on my little favor, I was abruptly stopped by him gripping my shoulders and pulling me off my knees to face him.

The look in his eye was one of pure lust and need. In a flash, he lifted me up while I wrapped my legs around his waist. He rammed me against the tree, and began ravishing my neck.

"You're so damn beautiful."

I tilted my head to the side, allowing him more room.

He not so gently pushed my dress all the way up and made us one. I sighed in relief, and pure pleasure.

After we finished our impromptu intimate moment, Emmett released his hold on me. As I dropped back to the ground I tugged my dress back into place, while Emmett refastened his pants and put his shirt back on.

He looked at me with a comical frown, "You got my shirt dirty."

I giggled and pinched his cheek, "Poor baby."

He placed his hand in mine and we continued to walk back home. After a few minutes of silence, Emmett finally broke it. "You know sex didn't fix this right?"

"I know, I just had to though. I had all this overwhelming emotion and I couldn't put it into words and I really wanted you so I-"

He chuckled, "Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. That was so incredibly sexy and spontaneous, honestly I wish that's how all of our outings would end. What I am saying is, you still need to have that conversation with Edward. For me, please."

"Of course I will," I agreed.

"Thank you."

I squeezed his hand in reassurance.

Another few minutes of silence passed until Emmett spoke again, "Did you see the look on that guys face?", he chuckled causing his shoulders to quake.

It took me a couple of seconds to realize he was referring to Jack back at the club. I nodded my head and bit my lip, trying to suppress a laugh, "Em, you could've really hurt him."

He shrugged, "He shouldn't have touched what's mine. He had it coming."

I rolled my eyes but didn't respond one way or the other.

Finally, we reached the porch of the house and I turned on my heels to meet my fiancee's gaze.

"Please don't give up on me."

He chuckled, smoothing some hair out of my face. "Do I look like a quitter to you? Have you seen me play Grand Theft Auto?"

I giggled in response, knowing how determined he was to beat those missions.

Reaching up on my tiptoes, I pressed my lips to his cheek, "I'll see you tomorrow?"

He nodded with a small smile, and squeezed my hand in an affectionate manner. "Of course baby."

With another smile, I watched Emmett as he went down the steps and broke out into a run in the direction of the Cullen home. Once he was out of sight, I pushed the front door open and made my way over to the couch, throwing myself down.

I closed my eyes in attempt to relax and clear my mind. It was times like these that I wished I could sleep and just forget everything for a little while. Deciding a shower would help, I made my way up the staircase and into the shower. As the steam fogged up the room, the hot water soothed my muscles.

After spending over an hour in the shower my mind was finally starting to clear itself. I dried off with my fluffy white towel, then proceeded to slip into my favorite silk robe. I'll have to remember to thank Alice for this.

The moment I stepped out of the bathroom, it was as if the air had changed. Something felt terribly wrong and as I made my way over to the window, I peered down, realizing all hell was about to break loose.
